An awesome experience with truly high quality chocolate If you’re a chocolate nerd like me you’ve probably seen documentaries about how it’s made. I never thought I’d get to see a real chocolate factory, then my wife surprised me with Ben’s chocolate making class. We got to sample cocoa beans, raw chocolate liquor, and I even got to temper some chocolate which was a real fun treat (never thought I’d get to do that)! Ben was very thorough, informative, and generous with his time during the class. Definitely eat before you do the class because if you’re hungry you won’t be able to concentrate due to the fragrant smell of chocolate. You can truly smell this place from a block away. Anyway, we only tried small samples during the class, but when we got home and we tasted Ben’s chocolate, it’s pure heaven. We probably would’ve bought twice as much if we’d known how good it is. All the chocolate at Ben B Coco has a crisp, clean taste and you can tell he uses top notch chocolate and ingredients. If you love chocolate then Ben’s chocolates may taste shocking because they don’t contain fillers or what I call “food science” ingredients like lecithin, oils, or artificial additives that are used to extend shelf life and claim to boost flavors. All of his chocolate tastes fresh and clean, the way chocolate is meant to be enjoyed, and that’s where the real flavor is. When you eat the Ben B Coco chocolate bars you can taste the beans, and each bar has their own subtle, fruity notes. The texture is so smooth on every bar that you won’t want to eat any other store bought chocolate after trying the chocolate at Ben’s. What kind of chocolate nerd wouldn’t try the Dubai chocolate bar at Ben’s. It’s the best I’ve tried and I’ve tried a lot of them. It’s definitely the crunchiest Dubai chocolate bar I’ve tried, and that’s a good thing. The ratio of chocolate to filling is really superb: not too much chocolate on the sides (so many bars get this wrong and you barely taste the filling). You can even tell how fresh the pistachios are in the filling. Not everyone can justify spending $45 on a single chocolate bar, but the Ben B Coco Dubai chocolate bar is worth it. Everything I said about his other bars—the fresh, clean taste—is true with the Dubai bar too. Lots of other Dubai bars give me a stomach ache from all the garbage ingredients, but these are just pure pieces of heaven. Why would you still be reading this? You should be on your way there to try the chocolate… NOW!

I came in with my husband for the chocolate making class and we had such a wonderful experience. It was filled with knowledge about chocolate-harvesting the cocoa beans, creating the different flavors etc. We were given the opportunity to try various chocolates and created our own chocolate bars. It was such a fun experience. We were also so excited to learn the sugar free chocolate bars are NOT made with any artificial sweeteners which is quite rare-we bought the sugar free strawberry (along with various other unique chocolate bar flavors) and the taste was great.

I came for the famous Dubai chocolate and no, I wouldn’t get it again. It doesn’t taste like pistachio or kataifi at all, and it’s missing that crunchy texture you expect. Definitely overpriced for what it is. HOWEVER, I would come back to try other chocolates. You can tell they use high quality ingredients, and everything is beautifully presented. The packaging is lovely, and the service was good. Just don’t fall for the Dubai chocolate hype.

Wonderful experience at Ben B Coco. We had delicious chocolate ice cream, picked up some elegant and unique bars, and got a sample of fresh dripping dark chocolate while it was being made. The owner took the time to tell us about how the chocolate is made and sourced, plus tips for exploring Wynwood in general. (and there’s air conditioning so it’s a great escape from the heat!)

Get ready for a hands-on and intimate chocolate learning experience. The private chocolate experience was fun for the whole family, and the tastings were super interesting and, most importantly, delicious. Ben’s passion for his craft shines through in each of his creations. He is extremely knowledgeable and happy to show and share all of his secrets. I highly recommend!

Where do I begin... I'm visiting in Miami for a few days and was looking for something different and special for my wife's birthday. I read almost every review on this establishment and it seemed that 99% were positive. So I booked an appointment for the 90-minute workshop. The owner (Ben) is currently out of town but his co-worker, Gian Flores, was BEYOND amazing. He gave us all the time in the world, answering questions patiently, etc but most of all demonstrating TRUE PASSION and LOVE for his craft. He is a masterful artist. And he will inspire to embrace your own passions. Gian helped us decorate our own bars of chocolate after he patiently described to us the entire process, "from bean to bar". This store is the real deal. I highly recommend that you look into the way they make their products on-site right before your eyes. The reviewers were not exaggerating. Lucy greets every customer with a warm smile and makes you feel glad you decided to visit. Looking forward to my next experience!

Absolutely AMAZING place and experience! Highly recommend stopping by for some of the most beautiful and decadent chocolate you have ever had while dealing with the nicest, most patient and knowledgeable people! I did the chocolate making class with 10 of my girlfriends last night and it was an incredible and super fun experience. Ben is very patient and helpful while teaching the group and letting us taste a little bit of everything as he walks us through all things chocolate. Lucy was a delight in helping us and making us feel comfortable and ensuring that we had the perfect night. Don’t miss out! The flavors, colors and vibe cannot be beat.

Chocolate was delicious, lots of unique and wonderful flavors to choose from. The chocolatier was very personable and knew what he was talking about. Fun place to visit and they have samples also. They wrap your chocolate in a thermal bag with an ice pack since, as he said "it is Miami, it will melt"

I could smell the chocolate even before walking into the shop! Located on 26th street in Wynwood, Ben B Coco is a bean to bar chocolate shop with an array of options. Ben and Lucie were super friendly and kind enough to offer some samples before committing to a chocolate bar. Bars go for $12.50-$18, which in my experience is fair and standard for this kind of high quality chocolate. Everything is made in house with whole ingredients and minimal sugar to get optimal tastes. The cacao definitely shines in these chocolates! The cherry on top is the beautiful presentation of the products. They also offer bon bons and other treats like caramel turtle, chocolate dipped candied ginger, and more! There is 100% chocolate and no sugar options as well as milk, white, dark in a variety of flavors. I left with a handful of bars, my favorite being the chuncho 85% for its sweetness despite being a high percentage. The cacao itself has a sweet flavor. I fell in LOVE. Honorable mentions for 100% dark chocolate and Café. OH I had the chance to meet Ben, the owner, and he's very kind with a passion for his creations! Had a great experience!

Fans of dark chocolate and its multitude of derivatives should definitely add an enjoyable visit to Ben B Coco while they are in the area. Entering the doorway, you are quickly hit with the earthy smell of the cacao beans lining the walls of the shop. Lucy and Ben were immediately so helpful in explaining the different selections and allowed me to sample any and all the types of chocolates they had available. My favorite was definitely the candied ginger dark chocolate, which you can get in bar form or individually dipped pieces. If you want to get out of your comfort zone, I would highly suggest trying the sugar free or 85% and higher versions of the chocolates markedly because of the smoothness and nice tartness. This is definitely a hidden gem in the Wynwood Art District, from the service to the quality of the cacao beans used.

Walking in the smell in dark chocolate hits you in the face. You can see them physically making the chocolate bars. Very cool. There's a bunch of chocolates for you to sample and the chocolate bars themselves are beautiful! On a hot day in Miami the cashier gave an ice pack with the chocolate so it would not melt. High quality service right there!

Premium chocolate maker located in wynwood. I have a friend that owns a shop in wynwood and he kept telling me about this place. I happened to be walking by and decided to drop in. Most of their chocolate is from beans sourced from central and South America and you can get it in the form of bars and various confections including covered nuts, enrobed rice crisps and more. The gentleman working the counter was very friendly and had me try a few different flavors to help me decide on what I wanted to purchase. Prices are at a premium but definitely match what you are purchasing. And what I really like is that if tell them you are purchasing to eat later they will put a chocolate in a thermal sleeve along with a small ice pack to ensure the chocolate doesn't melt before you get home. Definitely impressive. I purchased a 82% dark chocolate bar, a peanut butter and chocolate treat, and some chocolate covered oreos. Everything tasted great!

I saw this cute chocolate shop while driving in Wynwood and decided to pop in. I am soooo glad we did! Not only is the chocolate AMAZING the owner is a really nice guy and he has very creative and flavorful combinations; from chocolate coated orange and ginger (milk or dark), chocolate covered caramelized hazelnuts to chocolate bars w fig/raisins/edible flowers to name a few. Chocolate covered dates, a peanut butter bar that's better than a snickers bar and chocolate salted carmel squares. Ben has vegan options like passion fruit covered pistachios and fruit flavored bars. And his packaging is BEAUTIFUL If you are in the Miami/Wynwood are Ben. B. Coco is a shop you must go to

Beautiful store front, delicious chocolate! Ben gave us a lot of samples and everything was amazing. It was my birthday and he gifted me a free chocolate bar! We purchased passionfruit chocolate pistachios, coffee chocolate and passionfruit!

This place is amazing! Came here to find my husband a Valentine's Day treat - and they did not disappoint. Their chocolates are beautiful and delicious! They will let you sample - the service is so good. The ambiance smells like chocolate because they are making it fresh while you watch!

Great place for artisan chocolate. Amazing flavors, ambience, and vibe. Came for a chocolate making class. Learned a ton about the chocolate making process and techniques. Our group was able to go through a full tasting as well. 5/5 stars!

While in Wynwood, I just happened to walk down this street and spotted this chocolate factory and I must say it was the best unexpected experience ever! Upon walking in, the energy and aromas from the chocolate were vibrant and exciting. The chocolate maker was very very kind and shared the basics of the process and where the cacao comes from and provided samples to try which were all absolutely amazing. They are all well balanced and had incredible flavor profiles. There are so many flavors to choose from and the best part is they make them all there! Delightful experience through and through. Highly recommend making this a stop on your visit through Wynwood.

Happened to stumble upon this place during my lunch break walk and OMGGG, chocolate lovers, you must visit this place. It is heavenly. Service was also on point. The owner and creator gave me samples of many of the flavors they offer and I ended up taking the passion fruit with cacao nibs bar. They package everything nicely even with an ice pack since I was going to continue to walk around and it was at least 100 degrees out. This is my new favorite shop in Wynwood :D

The owner Ben and everyone who works there is beyond helpful, accommodating and sweet. They are super knowledgeable about chocolate which made it a fun and informative experience. Found the spot while walking in wynwood. The chocolate spinning from the window caught our attention. I met a nice couple who made some recommendations. They were regulars in the business. Very sweet of them. I think it was Gio who helped me. He let me try a few samples and it was all delicious! I bought the chocolate coffee bar. It was so good. I'm not a sweet person but I will definitely keep coming to try other items. The packaging is so creative and I love that you can give them as gifts. Must try place for a delightful treat!

The chocolate is delicious. The owner let us taste every we wanted to try before we bought it. The single source cocoa is very cool. We tried all kinds of chocolate and wound up buying a gift for an anniversary. Chocolates to enjoy on our stay in Miami and some to bring home. The owner was super nice and hospitable. Definitely stop by if you need to buy some really good, unique chocolates.

Wife and I stumbled into Ben B Coco this past Friday while being tourists in Wynwood and OMG - the BEST random move we ever made. This place is chocolate heaven. We were helped by the owner Ben, who was so nice, accommodating and friendly. He offered us samples of any chocolate we wanted to taste and recommended some great flavors. Everything was DELICIOUS. Flavors we tasted included: Coffee with hazelnut, Blueberry Yogurt, Dulce De Leche, Raspberry, Milk Chocolate (they had tons more flavors, so hard to choose!) - I've never had such a phenomenal and tasty quality of chocolate! We've been eating tons of HU and other 'boutique' chocolate in LA, but this chocolate was by far the BEST we've had. Ben made sure to send us off with a cold pack so our chocolate wouldn't melt as we continued around Wynwood. Incredible chocolate - not to miss, friendly and great owner, and I hope he can ship to NY!!!

Such a lovely experience!! Chocolate is exquisite and Ben was so hospitable. Literally stuck head in and ended up staying 20 min, buying 4 different treats and learned a bit as well! White chocolate passion fruit is insane. Support this hidden gem !! Highly recommend!!

This is my new favorite chocolate place in south Florida. They have a great selection of unique, high quality chocolates and warm, friendly, informative service. We went home with a variety of bars and almonds and I can't wait to go back to try more. One of my favorites is their raspberry chocolate almonds -- the raspberry flavor is fresh, bright, and a little unexpected pleasure in dark chocolate. We also got the dulce de leche with a sprinkling of salty goodness, the pistachio dark bar, figs on dark, more chocolate almonds, and a milk bar with candied almonds -- my other fave. All the bars had a great, crisp break and perfect sheen. They packed our bars nicely with complimentary ice packs and they made it home in perfect condition 4 hours later. My only disappointment is they're closed on Saturdays.

The best chocolate I have ever tasted! It's well worth a visit and Ben is generous with his time and extensive knowledge of art of chocolate.

The chocolates are heavenly here. We had no plans to visit a chocolate shop but glad we came upon Ben B Coco. The chocolatiers were so kind to us. They not only let us try samples but gave us cold water - in a ridiculous hot day - while we waited for our ride-share. The strawberry chocolate was one of my favorites. Thank you for your delicious chocolates and kindness.

I was walking around Wynwood and wanted to check this place out. If you like artisanal chocolate, this is going to be your go-to place. From the vast flavors from chocolates to caramels, you will find something you will become obsessed with. The fruit chocolate is my favorite. Yes, Chocolate, made from fruit. You have never had anything like it before. I am currently munching on it now. Not only is everything so tasty and rich, but the presentation is beyond gorgeous. My favorite part about this chocolatier is you see the process from scratch. I never Yelp review but if I could give this place 6 stars, I would. Great place to get gifts for a host, birthday, etc.

I am a dark chocolate lover and this chocolate is above all my expectations. Ben's chocolate melts in your mouth and leave a taste of fudge and bright fruitiness on your tongue. I highly recommend it.
