"Banh it ram is one of Vietnamese cuisine’s great pleasures — little rice dough dumplings stuffed with shrimp and pork sit on top of an airy, crunchy fried rice dough base. Ben Ngu’s rendition is one of Little Saigon’s most popular. Don’t sleep on the mi quảng (a Central Vietnamese noodle dish of wide, flat noodles and various toppings with fresh vegetables and herbs), either." - Euno Lee

"Ngu Binh has become beloved in Little Saigon for central Vietnamese comfort food. Sister restaurant Ben Ngu serves the same food with a fraction of the crowds and warrants a quick detour down the 22. It’s definitive Bún bò Huế, Huế-style beef noodle soup, features bouncy noodles, touts tongue tingling spice, and comes chock-full of proteins like sliced beef shank and pork loaf, collagen-rich pig trotter, and pork blood cubes. Mì quảng is another standout bowl starring turmeric-stained noodles, pork, shrimp, fish cake, crushed peanuts, and a crunchy shrimp chip. Ben Ngu also specializes in a variety of glutinous rice flour and tapioca creations topped and filled with ground shrimp, pork, scallions, and fried shallots that make great share-friendly starters." - Eater Staff, Joshua Lurie

I went to Bến Ngự for breakfast and ordered the Mì Quảng Special. I wasn’t too impressed with the customer service when they greeted and took orders. As for the food, the portion was quite large—I couldn’t finish it. The meat and broth were decent, but the flavor wasn’t quite to my taste; I found it a bit too salty. However, I really enjoyed the side salad, which had a good balance of fresh veggies for the bowl. The restaurant itself is spacious and clean.

Google
Came here because this place keeps popping as ‘best or top rated Vietnamese restaurants.’ Food here isn’t bad, but this restaurant doesn’t belong on the list. I give them 3.8/5. No fuss easygoing typical Vietnamese service. Their prices are good and not overpriced like most places. I’m now skeptical of all these reviews if they are from relatives or friends.

It was my first time there. Went there for specifically bun ho hue and the menu looked enticing. I will go back to try other items. The meat wasn't as tender as I would prefer. The broth was okay.

Google
Come for a flavor packed meal! The flavors packed a punch on all the dishes we ordered. To try multiple things, we shared all three dishes family style. Pictured are: Banh beo dia, Banh it kep Banh ram, and Bun mit mam nem. My personal favorite was the vermicelli with jackfruit salad - had great flavor and a nice kick 🔥. Service was good and pretty quick!

Google
They let me bring heo quây in for their bún mít. Bún mắm thịt heo quây here is 🔥🔥🔥. They might have roasted pork, if you ask.

Google
Bún bò Huế is as average as other restaurants. But the special point is FRESH VEGGIES, so fresh and plenty. The server comes to ask if you need more veggies. That is FIVE stars for amazing services. Normally, Vietnamese restaurants do not know how to train the servers to serve the customers. But this restaurant has got 10 points for service.

Went here with my dad and relatives. Friendly atmosphere. The food was quick to come out. I really like their unsweetened ice tea.

Google
The portion is big and the price is reasonable for that size of food. It’s rare to see that these days when everything is going up. The owner is nice. The food could be more flavorful. Not a fan of móng heo that was supposed to be giò heo. Overall it was okay

Yelp
First time here: Bbh - yummy and flavorful, piping hot, Fresh veggies, and banana leaves . And now..the star, combo #12 with banh nam, banh beo and banh lac. Amazing! I devoured the entire dish. I live banh beo and have been trying different spots but to have. A little of everything is awesome. The banh nam was so smoothe and flavorful!! Probably will upgrade this to a five-star next time I come in and it's still consistently yummy.

Yelp
We ordered banh beo chen, bun bo hue (not too spicy), and mi quang. The banh beo was fantastic. The bun bo hue was nothing to write home about - which was disappointing because I've had it many times in the past and it had been tasty. As we were packing the untouched mi quang, there was a piece of HAIR! They replaced and packed a fresh one but still... Service was quick and prices are reasonable. We came as soon as their doors opened so there was no wait for a table.

Yelp
SO GOODD the ben ngu staff ATE this UPPP The food was so authentic and flavorful and the staff was so kind and friendly to me! Got the full Hue experience

Yelp
Bun bo hue and bun hen here are very delicious. good service. I will come back again. Thank you

Yelp
3.5 stars This restaurant has been bookmarked for awhile, so I decided to give this place a try. I got their #8 ($12.90), which is a combination of several dishes listed below: Banh Nam: rice flour w/ seasoned shrimp crumbles steamed in banana leaves. This is peppery and savory. 4.5/5 stars Banh Bot Loc: tapioca shrimp dumpling. It had a very nice chew to it. 4/5 stars Banh Beo: steamed rice cakes topped with shrimp crumbles, fried shallots, and green onions. The texture isn't as smooth as I'd like, but still decent. 3/5 stars Nuoc mam: the fish sauce that is supposed to enhance the food above. Unfortunately, the way this restaurant makes their sauce isn't acidic or sweet enough for this carby dish. Even the chili within couldn't save it. 1/5 stars I definitely think there are other restaurants that make a better banh beo, but this restaurant isn't the worst and, I would think, worth the visit. Portion is good. Service is nice and quick. Interior spacious and clean. Since I came for breakfast, it was very quiet. Only 2 other tables were seated. Free on-site parking.

Yelp
This place is under new management for about 1 month now. Its location is quite tucked out of sight which makes it a hidden gem. You won't go wrong with Bun Bo Hue or Mi Quang here. They give plenty of veggies, props to their banana flowers, you don't get that from many other places, they tend to replace it with shredded cabbages instead. Price is great. Food is amazing. Service is polite. Place is clean & spacious. I'd choose this place over any other Pho or Bun Bo Hue place any day. I likely have found the best Bun Bo Hue & Mi Quang in town.

Jessica D.

Yelp
First time trying this restaurant and will be my last. I ordered bun mit and bun Bo hue. It wasn't bad. Decent price. But then I found hair in my food.

Roshelle C.

Yelp
Amazinggg authentic Central Vietnamese food!! Fresh, delicious everything. Our family is from Vietnam and it reminded us of home. Great service, clean, and new. Highly recommend!!!

Hien N.

Yelp
Bun bo hue, banh beo, bun hen, banh it ram are highly recommended to try. Quick service, amazing food, reasonable price, friendly, helpful staffs. This place is a hidden gem in Garden Grove. Definitely will be back.

Yelp
Bun Bo Hue is delicious price is reasonable and the restaurant is clean I'm sure be back

Yelp
My husband and I were craving some good bun Bo hue and since we are in the area, we thought to give this place a try and definitely not disappointed. What I also love about this place is that the menu is super limited! It means that they only concentrate on specialty! Always look for specialty restaurant with limited menu. That's how you know you are in for a good treats. The bun Bo hue seasoning was on the lighter side which leave some room for your own spiked to it. They have a bottle of fish sauce at each table so you can adjust to your own taste. I am going to come back to try other central food it offers here like banh bèo and bánh bột lọc! They are my guilty pleasures, it's like snacking for Vietnamese people!

Andy N.

Yelp
Decent Bun Bò Huế... consistent Doesn't raise the price as crazy as other restaurants. A regular BBH is $13 A large BBH is $14 Unlike some places charge $16 or $17 for a crappy small bowl.

Katherine P.

Yelp
We needed a redo of Bun Bo Hue (spicy beef noodle soup), Banh Beo (savory rice cakes), and hubby was craving for Banh Nam (flour cake) since the last place we visited (Quan Hy) did not meet our standards. This has always been our go to spot because of the flavor of their food, freshness of ingredients, portion size of food, and customer service. The only down side is limited hours and they're closed on Mondays which is usually when we would plan lunch together (hubby's day off). When time permits, we do have brunch here on Sundays. Rather than deal with the typical long wait times in Westminster, this spot is always open and has tons of seating even prime hours during weekends. If you've never been here, it is a must try for anyone looking to get their Bun Bo Hue, Banh Beo or Banh Nam fix.

Kieu T.

Yelp
I like this location because parking is easy. Quick service with getting your good. Spacious inside with ample of tables. I ordered banh beo chen and small bun bo hue, not spicy. Be sure to tell them not spicy. Otherwise, you be sweating to the oldies with the heat if you don't eat spicy food. When I'm craving banh beo, bun bo hue or mi quang...I'll definitely come here.

Sarah S.

Yelp
A hidden gem in Garden Grove. I accidentally stumbled across this place as I was driving through the city. I noticed that it was listed on Eater so I decided to pop in & I'm so glad I did! I ordered #6 banh beo dia and #3 mi quang dac biet. The banh beo was pretty good, I wish it had a little more protein to spread around since there were so many of them. The mi quang serving size was huuuge! I stopped when I was full and there was still so much left to take home. Service was very fast as well. Everyone was nice and the food came out fast. They do accept card but I would suggest bringing cash for tips! They don't have the section to add tip on the credit card slip.

Regina D.

Yelp
Came here first thing when this restaurant open on a Friday morning. We ordered banh beo, banh bot loc, and banh canh tom Cua. The banh canh tom cua was really thick, and flavorful. I really enjoyed it. The banh beo and banh bot loc was good but the nuoc mam was a little bland so I had to add extra undiluted fish sauce to give it some flavor.

Helen V.

Yelp
Authentic Vietnamese home that brings the flavors of home made and restaurant dining in one. Love their bún mít mắm nêm! Best portions all around. I always eat every bite of their meals. My husband loves the mì quảng and bánh bột lọc here. I also love their bánh nặm, bánh bèo, and bún bò Huế!

Karol T.

Yelp
Delicious and authentic Vietnamese cuisine. The food came out so quickly (literally a few minutes after we ordered). The prices are affordable and the portion sizes are great (they give a lot of meat). We love to order here to go as well.

Art C.

Yelp
We actually came here specifically for one of my very favorite soups in the whole wide world, bun bo hue. And I think their version was fantastic. Absolutely wonderful... But switching food topics for a minute, we also had fresh made banh it ram (fried sticky rice dumpling), something I had never experienced before... Total revelation! Was so, so good! This was like our 3rd or 4th stop on our Vietnamese food run- you know, when you visit 6 restaurants in a row just to taste their best dishes- and it almost knocked us out because we devoured these delights before our next stop... so full already! Anyways, great option if in the area. Don't sleep on their banh it ram.

Victoria T.

Yelp
AMAZING, you gotta try this place. Came here during our vacation from seattle and I can say it's one of the best meals my husband and I had since we got here to California. And where we come from Vietnamese restaurants aren't as great, unless it's home cooked. I knew this place was gonna be good when I saw Cha hue on the menu. The bun bo hue was delicious, well balanced with spices and great portion for the price. Reminded me of my grandmothers cooking and the music being played brings me back being at my grandmothers on a Saturday morning. This place really hits home for me. I will be back again!

Yelp
Prepare yourself for a tale of culinary misfortune at Ben Ngu, where my hopes of a delightful Bun Bo Hue were dashed like a broken noodle. Picture this: I eagerly took my first spoonful, only to be assaulted by an overwhelming wave of saltiness. It was as if the chef had mistaken the recipe for a science experiment on sodium chloride saturation. Trust me, folks, I didn't sign up for a saltwater adventure; I just wanted a tasty bowl of Vietnamese goodness. Now, let's talk about the noodles. Instead of the long, graceful strands that should grace any respectable bowl of Bun Bo Hue, I was greeted with a sight that could only be described as noodle chaos. Broken in half, they resembled a culinary crime scene where noodles met their untimely demise. It was like a noodle massacre on my plate, leaving me puzzled and wondering who or what could have caused such noodle mayhem. But wait, the disappointment didn't end there. Oh no, my taste buds were in for a wild ride. The supposed Bun Bo Hue lacked any resemblance to its authentic counterpart. Instead of a harmonious symphony of flavors, all I got was a monotonous tune of salted water. It was like slurping a salty mirage, where the promise of deliciousness evaporated with each disappointing sip. And let's not forget those illustrious five-star ratings. Whoever bestowed such high praise upon this place must have a palate from another dimension, where salt reigns supreme and taste buds enjoy a good masochistic adventure. As for me, I'm firmly planted in this reality, where Ben Ngu's Bun Bo Hue falls far short of expectations. In the grand tapestry of culinary experiences, Ben Ngu's performance was more of a tragedy than a masterpiece. The excessive saltiness, the shattered dreams of intact noodles, and the lackluster flavor profile all contributed to a symphony of disappointment. If you're seeking an authentic and satisfying Bun Bo Hue experience, my friend, I implore you to look elsewhere. Spare yourself the salt overload and embark on a flavor-filled journey elsewhere, where your taste buds can truly rejoice.

Lisa L.

Yelp
I love coming to Ben Ngu for their Bun Bo Hue! The broth is super flavorful and I get it non spicy (bc heartburn). It is packed with lots of meat on top! Served with a side of veggies. The wait staff is nice and the restaurant is spacious and clean. I rate this 5/5. Thank you Ben Ngu!

Yelp
I wanted to try something different, so decided to check out a place I saw on a list of 21 places to try in Little Saigon. I ordered an assortment of things that were really fascinating texture-wise to me, lots of chewy and crunchy bits which I love. As I had not had any of these dishes before, I cannot really judge whether they are good, but I liked them. Flavors were not too strong, so I definitely used the fish sauce (also fairly dilute) and side hot sauces. See my photos and captions for pictures and names of what I ate. Service was straightforward and the waiter knew enough English since I don't speak Vietnamese. The interior was clean and spacious. Prices have definitely gone up like everything else, with each dish slightly over $10, but the portions were good and I loved trying something new. I'd love to come back and try more things, their Bún Bò Huế and Mì Quảng noodle dishes seem very popular.

Trung N.

Yelp
Ben Ngu is a good place to get Hue food without having to trek down Brookhurst into the heart of Little Saigon. I frequent this location when I want bún bò Huế (~$10ish). It's a giant bowl of spicy beef noodles topped with been shank, pig trotter, cooked pork blood, and pork loaf. Here, the spicy is laced into the aromatic broth. Combined with the tender meat, each bite if flavorful. I also like their bánh bèo ($8ish). The steamed rice cake has the right consistency - not too thick or thin. It has just the right amount of spring to hold up the ground shrimp, pork ring, and scallion/fried shallot toppings. If you're looking for a place on this side of the 22 that specializes in Hue food, I highly recommend Ben Ngu.

John N.

Yelp
Hits the spot for after church on Sundays. Fried mochi dumplings. You have to be true Viet to eat here. Nothing glamorous. Focus on the food! Focus on the food.

Danni R.

Yelp
my aunt chose this place after arriving at lbc airport. we are hue so a good restaurant always makes us happy. we got hot tea, cafe sua da, mi quang, bbh and the circle banh with shrimp bits on top. i forget what it's called but we eat it in hue all the time. so good. portions are huge. flavor is great. came all the way down from la for this and i'll come back with family any day. so glad our hue community is still represented and comes together through food at restaurants like this.

Kelsey C.

Yelp
ALL the dumpling-type things. A #7 is the best way to start! A slightly smaller sampler split between #6 and #11 so you get to try a ring of chewy-gooey rice cakes and Banh Bot Loc Tran are tiny little dumpling filled with a smooth paste. Dunk everything in fish sauce. Banh It Kep Banh Ram is an adventure in texture. Best eaten fresh - chewy mochi dumplings full of savory pork and dried shrimp served on a crunchy slab of deep-fried mochi. They also have good noodles if you're craving. Bun Bo Hue has a spicy broth with a mix of meats like pork trotter and pork blood so if you're a brisket-only eater, this one's not for you. Mi Quang has fantastic egg noodles. The broth is subtle and a little bit fishy so again, make sure you like the flavor. A no-frills, casual-cafe with extremely caffeinated Vietnamese coffee, conveniently open all day. I highly recommend...highly INSIST you visit!

ThomaS T.

Yelp
Mi quang -the portion is big. The food, it's okay. There is plenty of meat. No uniqueness to the food though. No savoriness either. This type of food is known for its savoriness and savory meats. Soup is bland and taste like bun bo hue soup. The establishment is clean .

Anna H.

Yelp
If you are looking for a place that specializes in banh beo, come here! They have your traditional banh beo and all kinds of variations of banh beo but slightly different and named something else. Luckily their menu has pictures and descriptions to help when ordering. Among two of us, we ordered three different types of banh beo. Quite filling with all of those carbs! I should have ordered a salad to make this a more balanced meal. I thought they were quite unique as I never encountered the other banh beo variations while visiting Vietnam. Definitely check it out!

Scarlet C.

Yelp
Had the bun bo hue here. Wasn't the best but it wasn't bad either! By itself it isn't all that spicy so you can adjust it to your liking by adding more chili satay. They also give you a lot of meat for even just the regular bowl. Amount of meat seems about the same for both the large and the regular.

Linda V.

Yelp
Came here for lunch after seeing the surgeon for my post op, as my mom wants me trying different stuff while I'm in town. Everything on the menu here has shrimp (which you're supposed to avoid after surgery - facepalm) except this and like 2 other dishes. I'm not sure what this was called but it had pork and the noodles are yellow with a soup base and some veggies. It was not bad. Service was okay, restroom was meh. Paired my order with avocado shake which was not bad and not overly sweet. My palette aside, I'd probably come back, but want to try another dish.

Kenneth T.

Yelp
This BEN NGU RESTAURANT, Enjoy their Vietnamese food, since my wife is Vietnamese & wants me to enjoy their kind of food,I Believe their food is good for you, since all my families are in good health & not over weight, I started to try something different each time I come to Ben Ngu Restaurant, we've been coming here for a few years now, I lost a lot of weight from 275lb. I look like a tooth pick now,but I feel good, & now I even look Healthy I Highly recommend BEN NGU,to others,

Tina N.

Yelp
Ben Ngu is Ngu Binh's second location? Same menu and same taste without the long wait. Bun bo hue - I always get this one. The small size is actually a lot. I can't even finish. You can request non spicy or spicy. I usually get mine with Cha and huyet only (no beef). Banh beo chen - I always get this too. Good for sharing and it is so yummy! Will be back to try other items. I'll go here instead of Ngu Binh from now on because I don't like waiting for an hour. I'll be too hangry to enjoy my food!

Thuy N.

Yelp
PROS: + the broth for MI QUANG + fantastic customer service + protein heavy BUN BO HUE + easy parking + authentic Vietnamese food :) CONS: - in Santa Ana - expect a wait on Sunday @12:30pm This review is solely based on two to-go orders of MI QUANG AND BUN BO HUE. Will definitely be back again to try other dishes!

Linda H.

Yelp
Such amazing and authentic Hue food, the bun bo hue and mi quan was legit! From the flavoring to the condiments and veggies, this place did it all right. Don't pass it up just because the setting looks bland, this is how you know the food is good when they don't care about service or aesthetics cause the food is just good. Seriously, their mi quan was bomb ass! We also ordered the banh canh and it was thick and full of flavor. My friend said this is the only place in Garden Grove that she has found who makes the banh canh thick. Oh yeah and don't forget to get the banh bot loc, banh beo and banh nam!

David P.

Yelp
I've been going to this for years with my parents. Haven't had any issues with the food or staff, they are very accommodating if we need anything. The Bun Bo Hue is great.

Chris D.

Yelp
Highly recommend! Decent price with generous portion! Try Bun Bo Hue and My Quang, the best in town!

Cat N.

Yelp
So I've probably tried every single banh beo dish at all Orange County's Vietnamese restaurants... So far this is my go-to place for banh beo. I like it because there is never a wait, its cheap, and its good. The last time I came here was on a Sunday at 11am for lunch with one other person. We were seated immediately. We started off with banh beo. For lunch, I went with their popular Bun Mit Mam Nem (#17 on menu / $7). It is basically a vegetarian dish. It is white vermicelli noodles that sits on top of a salad and topped with young jackfruit, peanuts, and sesame crackers. It comes with a side of their mam nem sauce (an anchovy sauce). It was delicious. All the ingredients were fresh and went together well. The portion was large but it was so yummy I killed all of it. I loved it, but just a warning, if you don't like the sauce then do not get. The person I came with got their bun bo hue. They said it was okay. Unlike other Vietnamese restaurants that carried banh beo, this place has more options on the menu. Besides just Mi Quang, Bun Ru, Banh Canh and different versions of it, they also have rice dishes, and vermicelli dishes. They have as well an extensive drink list. As for service, they were so quick with bringing food out that we can't complain. The inside is fairly large and there's plenty of tables and chairs. It is casual instead and pretty clean. I cannot wait to come back.

Yonnie C.

Yelp
We ate here yesterday morning for breakfast, when they opened at 10am. We ordered: 1) bun bo hue - husband ordered this and said it was good 2) vietnamese noodle soup w/ shrimp & crab - i had this and thought it was good 3) durian smoothie - tastes like durian! 4) fresh squeezed orange juice $3 - yum 5) banh beo & banh bot loc (tapioca balls w/ filling inside) - banh beo was good, with the sauce. the banh bot loc was super super chewy!! Everything was delicious, we enjoyed our meal!

Cindy N.

Yelp
One of my favorite type of Vietnamese food is Hue food. Lucky for me OC is just a hop skip and a jump from Long Beach so when I'm craving it's easily accessible. Food wise I highly recommend the MI QUANG, BUN BO HUE, BANH CANH, BANH BOT LOC, BANH IT RAM, BANH BEO. My favorite is MI QUANG- is made with a type of wide rice noodle that is mixed with turmeric giving it a yellowish color. The proteins in this dish is shrimp and pork. Veggies include are water mint, basil, Ipomoea aquatica, Vietnamese coriander, sliced banana flowers, and lettuce all topped with pieces of toasted sesame rice crackers and peanuts. BUN BO HUE- containing rice vermicelli and usually includes thin slices of marinated and boiled beef shank, chunks of oxtail, pig's knuckles, cubes of congealed pig blood with tons of veggies on the side. BANH CANH CUA a rich, thick crab soup with thick noodles and pork cake. BANH BOT LOC clear looking and chewy tapioca dumpling filled with shrimp and pork belly topped with fried shallots and served with sweet chili fish sauce. BANH BEO smelled steamed rice cakes filled with chopped dried shrimp, scallions, mung bean paste, crispy fried shallots paired with fish sauce. The restaurant is open and clean. The staff works hard and each person is always running around doing everything. They aren't professionally trained so don't expect stellar service. Parking is available in the plaza parking lot can get a little congested at times since it isn't too big. Much like it's original location Ngu Binh this place doesn't disappoint, but I'd prefer to eat here over then the original location because for one it isn't as busy, and two it isn't as fatty. I'll be back to try more items

Yelp
As our friends' food sherpas, we found Ben Ngu when a bff told me she'd been craving banh beo. Proving that we are indeed birds of a feather, I'd been craving the same. So off to Ben Ngu we went! Ben Ngu is a Vietnamese eatery on the border of a largely Korean neighborhood so I already gave them props for the balls to open shop where they are. Interestingly enough, that little strip mall seem to be largely Vietnamese. Another criteria that went into selection our lunch spot was that the interior seemed spacious and had room enough for two kids. We arrived at around 1:15 and were seated promptly. The place did brisk business with a constant flow of customers. We ordered juuuuuuuuust enough food, maybe a little extra so that was awesome. Pros: Food is great. Banh beo was sliiiightly mushier than I'd like but not too bad. My fave was the Bahn Ram...deep fried mochi topped with regular mochi wrapped around stuff. Tasted like a fresh rice cracker. Bo bun hue - amazing. Mi quang - giant-ass bowl and quite tasty too though I stick with the bo bun hue personally. Cons: Eeeeh...they don't speak much English here. Well, the two guys we dealt with don't speak much English. But they/we persevered and got the extra bowls we needed. Other thing was...I got very thirsty during the meal. I'm not an msg hater but if they're going to be using it, they better make sure the water refills keep coming (they did not, had to get up and ask for more water). I like this place which I'm terribly ecstatic about. We boycotted the other place we used to go because a few of the servers were openly hostile towards us for asking for extra bowls. I'd rather enjoy my food without that drama for your mama. Check it out!

JJ Y.

Yelp
No my favorite at all. I have my fair share of bun bo hue many places before, this one by far the most disappointing experience. I was excited to try a new place since strong positive reviews. The food came looking so good, I did my usual of taking few pictures and excited to dig in. However, I was not sure if that was a busy day or too early for lunch. The soup tasted like flavor broth which missing the rich beef base. Basically, it was more like barely made soup or very diluted broth? The meat was ok, the pig's feet was cooked but not tender at all. Well at least, I assumed that was fresh made soup instead of left over from night before?! I wished that I would like this place, but I dont think that I would go back and do this again. There are way more places in the area who have bomb bun bo hue, it is really hard to compare to this joint.

Thanh N.

Yelp
I got food poisoning and I think I got it from this place. I don't wanna assume anything. I ordered a togo order here and to be honest the food was not that great, very big portion but the taste wasn't unique.

Takuma M.

Yelp
My go to Bun Bo Hue place. The broth is flavorful and love the meat inside it. The restaurant can get a bit hot sometimes but not a problem. I don't have a good comparison in terms of taste because this is where I had my first Bun Bo Hue but love this restaurant!

John T.

Yelp
A little above average BBH here. Pros- not much of a line during lunch hours compared to ngu binh. Their pig blood was cooked perfectly along with their quiches ! Noodles were soft in texture. Soup broth was good but not piping hot as I prefer. I would come back again but wouldn't go out of my way .

Thuy L.

Yelp
I love Viet street food and this place has what I wanted: banh beo, nam, loc and banh it ram. Banh it ram was crispy on the outside and chewy inside with shrimp toppings. Banh beo, loc and nam combo is good as always. I called in to go order less than 30 minutes before closing and they still took my order. Nice!! And the food is still delicious! Lucky for me it's so close to my house. Parking lot is kind of small for the plaza. Thanks for taking my late order and yummy food!

Yelp
Honestly, I rarely make reviews but I'm making an exception this time. Usually this place is okay, and Ive been going here for a while. But the reason for the 1 star is because when I dined in today, my uncle (who is deaf) ordered the wrong item on the menu because he chose the wrong picture. Okay, he ordered the wrong item, but to say the f word to a disabled person who cannot hear you is despicable, callous, and insensitive to others. Just because he cannot hear you, does not mean I don't. If he was hearing, you would not say that. It was one of the old guys who was serving us, but the owner and others heard what he said, and the owner did not say anything. I'm not coming here again.

Yelp
The menu is small and the food is great. Pricing is extremely reasonable as well. Portions are also quite large and I couldn't finish my meal. Fresh, hot and tasty dishes. The rice dish with shrimp and spareribs was so flavorful. The actual rice was very fragrant. Also tried this "fermented pork roll" for 75 cents and it was awesome. Two sausage-shaped pork roll wrapped in banana leaf - just fantastic.
