Ben Thanh Supermarket

Number 1 Ben City Supermarket is the perfect example of a good Asian supermarket in the Philadelphia area. It has mostly a Vietnamese / Thai focus, but does sell some Japanese, Korean, and Chinese items. A good variety of fresh seafood, fruits and vegetables plus plenty of Asian grocery items. The household ware items are very well stocked and I found many desirable items for my kitchen here.

Drove 40min. Just bought these frozen pork bun and they are covered in mold. Not going to waste my time to return. -$8 Thanks

This is my first time shopping here and feel quite satisfied with this market. Asian goods are quite diverse and the quality is also good. I will visit again.

customer service sucks but that's because they're overwhelmed with traffic and working long hours. The supermarket does smell a fit funky due to the numerous amount of seafood and meat sold there but its definitely worth a visit! I get all of my fruits and herbs from here which are always fresh. I definitely recommend it, simply for its wide selection of goods when it comes to herbs, fruits, vegetables and the price is fab!!! I always spend less than 100$ for the week which is awesome considering at other places it would be more. Eggs are super cheap, milk, fruits etc. and mainly organic goods which you don't normally find fresh for a cheap price

I love Ben Thanh Supermarket in Philadelphia. We have shopped there every week since I was introduced to Vietnamese cuisine 3 years ago even though I live 90 minutes away at the Jersey shore.

Besides the smell being off. I love coming here, just brings back a lot of memories I used to have with my mother. I just don't think I would buy any meats from here. But Fruits and Vegetables and other home goods are very interesting

I get all my fresh sea foods from this place.
