20 Best Things to Do in Bangkok

"A 102-acre green space prized for being calmer and shadier than the city's most popular park; visitors can rent boats to paddle on lotus ponds, follow a jungle-like jogging path, and use an elevated 'Green Mile' skywalk to get canopy-level views of wetlands and more than 90 bird species. The park also hosts concerts and outdoor films in the cooler months, making it a peaceful respite from urban bustle." - Katie Jackson Katie Jackson Katie Jackson is a New York City-based writer who covers travel, food, and more. I Grew Up Along Bangkok's Canals — Here's How Its Rich History Connects to the Forward-thinking City

"Last year saw the expansion of Benjakitti Park on a downtown plot of land once used by the state-owned tobacco monopoly. The park’s new section uses wetland plants to cleanse water fed from nearby canals, and the former factory buildings have been converted into sports facilities." - Mai Nardone

Great park to relax, enjoy the greenery and exercise. Good views of the city clean safe shaded environment for walking or jogging. Opens early and closes late, about 10 pm. Very accessible, close to BTS Asok or MRT Sukhumvit. Suitable for all ages and families as well. At the end your visit you can visit the convention center to have an Air Condition dose and have a drink or meal. The elevated walkway is really nice and great place to take pictures and see people taking pictures as well.

Benchakitti Park also known as Bangkok’s "green lung" is honestly one of the most beautiful parks I’ve ever seen. It has everything. trees, a skywalk, and separate lanes for walking, running, and cycling. There are plenty of spots to exercise or just hang out. Don’t worry about the facilities either. there are clean restrooms all around the park and tons of parking. My favorite thing to do is just lie on the grass, watch the birds, and enjoy natures . It’s relaxing with all the trees. I’d recommend going in the morning or evening when the vibe is best. Pakin kerdniyom208

Benchakitti Park (Suan Benjakitti) is a beautiful and spacious free-entry park located near Sukhumvit–Asok. It’s perfect for running, walking, and all kinds of exercise. The huge lake in the center gives amazing reflections of the city buildings — perfect for photography lovers. The park has plenty of flowers, greenery, and a clean, relaxing atmosphere. The skyline views from here are stunning. It’s also very easy to access, and the parking area is large and convenient. Overall, this park is an excellent place for a morning walk, evening run, or just to relax and enjoy nature. Highly recommended!

Beautiful park! So many walking/running/bike paths. I recommend going in the morning (6-7am) or evening (5pm - later) as the weather will be in your favor (not too hot, unless you like the afternoon heat). There are some bathrooms in the park but they are not the cleanest and I would recommend bringing toilet paper and hand sanitizer.

Beautiful park. Love it very much! Plenty of parking for the evening times. I heard that the parking can be tricky in the morning but we went around 5pm and it was fine. By the time we leave the spots open up a lot more. The park is huge and beautiful. So many trees and very suitable for evening exercise. Many runners and walkers throughout the paths. They also popular for their long bridge that connects to other parks and other part of the city. Very cute for a date and cute little stroll.

A great park for running and other sports activities. A number of possibilities for running, including the connecting bridge to Lumphini park, but Benchakitti is in fact better, less people, great views from the skywalk, especially around sunset. And one can even shower at the QSNCC

This park is outstanding. It's basically divided into 2 parts: 1. A lake area, which you can walk or run around; and 2. a wetlands area, which has a raised pathway where you can get a nice view of the beautiful plants.
