Pretty boba shop in Tustin! We got the signature green Thai tea, Longjing matcha latte, creamy green grape slush, mango pomelo sago and passion fruit cup. Other boba shop don’t have longjing matcha latte so I think it’s unique this store has it. It has a strong tea base. Service is friendly, interior is pretty.

Very cute interior, lots of seating. We ordered the mango cheese slush and a peach oolong milk tea. The mango slush was okay nothing special. I'd recommend the peach oolong, it was tasty! Would definitely come back to try other drinks they all look yummy. However these drinks are slightly on the pricey end.

Google
I came here because I saw this location on an Instagram video. It was cute and aesthetic, but I wouldn’t be coming back. The drinks weren’t that good, and they put oats in my drink, which made it taste like oatmeal. It took really long to get my drink, and my friend’s drinks took almost an hour to get. The size of their drinks were so small, and for the price, surely wasn’t worth it.

Rude girl at the counter. Our order was delayed and the girl asked my kid not to play with Minecraft toys which ever obviously there for playing.

I came after visiting Target next door and was in mood for good boba. I came across this tea shop, which has a nice, welcoming atmosphere. They offer a good selection of teas and drinks. I appreciate their special boba, which has a rich tea flavor and is not too sweet. The staff are friendly and helpful, making it a pleasant place to visit.

Google
We found this cute little gem in the Market Place Plaza. Super cute wish tree (people are so funny). The cute interior design perfect for a date cute photos! Lots of interesting boba options and the fruit teas are super fresh!

Google
I absolutely love BenGong’s Tea in Irvine! Every time I visit, I’m impressed by how consistently delicious their drinks are. My all-time favorite is the Passion Fruit Cup — it's refreshing, flavorful, and just the right balance of sweet and tangy. The quality of the ingredients really stands out. On top of that, the staff here are always so patient and friendly. Whether I’m asking questions about the menu or customizing my order, they’re super helpful and kind. It makes the whole experience feel warm and welcoming.

Google
Possibly the best boba store in Irvine. No long lines, plenty of parking, and a quiet atmosphere. I love the interior decor, especially the fake Sakura tree with hanging wishes. It's really nice we can get a card and string to write our own wishes as well. It's quite poetic. The drinks are also great. While some have unadjustable toppings and sweetness, it's always great to have novel flavours such as Mango Pomelo Sago or Peach Coconut Milk Slush. They seem to use the actual fruit, especially for their taro drinks which I have not experienced before in a boba shop. Their highland barley topping in their passion fruit cheese slush has been my recent obsession. Very nice and romantic place to go to for sure.

Yelp
this place is a super cute shop, and they have good tea. the service was also great, my friends' favourite is the brown sugar milk.

Yelp
Found this spot after going to shop around the plaza. They have a kiosk you can order from as it seemed like there wasn't anyone on the register. Ordered the Lapsang souchong milk tea. It comes with honey boba. I got 50% sweet which was the perfect amount. The boba was the perfect chewy consistency. Also got to try the Mango pomelo sago which was a burst of flavor. It was pretty good!

Yelp
Stopped by Ben Gong's Tea in Irvine to check out some of their drinks and left feeling a bit mixed. The space is a typical modern marble-slab style renovated tea shop, but it's starting to feel a bit worn down. Even small details, like the HVAC return grille covered in black dust, made the place feel less maintained than it should be. On the bright side, the bookmark tag you can write on and hang from their man-made tree is a cool and unique touch to the atmosphere. Service was typical as well - no interaction required since we can order on the kiosk but they were quick to make the drinks as there was no queue to any drinks ahead of us. What we tried: * Brown Sugar Boba Milk - Flavor-wise, this one hit the right notes, but unfortunately the bobas weren't fresh. They had that slightly harder texture that takes away from the drink's overall appeal. * Passion Fruit Sparkling Tea - Refreshing and visually appealing, but nothing in the flavor really stood out to give it a "wow" factor. * Golden Oolong Tea with Tea Cubes - The tea itself was nice and smooth, but the tea cubes (which are really more like jellies) were sweeter than expected, throwing off the balance of the drink. Overall, Ben Gong's offers a decent menu with some interesting concepts, but for us, the freshness and flavor balance could use more attention--and the space could use some upkeep--before it becomes a go-to spot.

Yelp
I came here around 9:20pm on a Thursday night with just one other person inside waiting for their drinks. We ordered on the kiosk and waited roughly 20 mins for our drinks. Mango Sago - it's thick, it's sweet, slightly bitter due to the pomelo bits. The sago was there, but it wasn't very good, and the mango bits (gelatin?) didn't add anything to the flavor. I was hoping this was similar to the mango boom at HEYTEA, but it wasn't close. Burnt caramel milk cheese tea - I didn't really know what to expect , but it was slightly floral, almost like jasmine. The burnt caramel cheese was really nice, it had a nice texture on the crystallized bits but the tea itself didn't really taste like anything except sweet. It has a really pretty interior , very instagramable with their decor and drinks, but the drinks felt short flavor-wise and I'd pass on coming here with so many other options nearby.

Yelp
First time trying this place I got the pistachio drink and it was okay - i couldnt taste much of the pistachio cream while drinking it but it was a nice texture with pistachio nuts. I got it either 75% or 50% sugar and I think Id get 100% to make it on a sweeter side. I definitely would try something else here!

Yelp
Came here during lunch today and customer service was 10/10 and drink was 10/10. All their flavors sound so good, will be back in the future to try more drinks!

Yelp
Introduced my friend to this location since their peach milk tea is one of my FAVORITE milk teas in America, and she loved it! The peach milk tea remind me of the drinks I'd get in China with perfectly balanced fresh tea taste paired with the sweet peach flavor. The tea isn't bitter at all and the peach doesn't have an artificial flavor. It also comes with barley and agar boba which I loved! The 100% sweetness is perfect for those who prefer 70% sweetness at other boba shops. The mango pomelo sago was just alright, nothing about it stood out. Definitely returning for the peach milk tea soon!!

Yelp
This place is our new favorite boba spot! They have the mango pomelo sago as well as strawberry mango which we loved. The drinks weren't too sweet and had the perfect amount of mango to coconut ratio which we loved. We also loved their milk teas and uji green tea. The sparkling passion fruit was super refreshing as well. The store was very nice and clean with a lot of seating. The workers were also very nice and helped with what drinks we should get.

Yelp
Avocado Mango Bloom - This drink blends avocado and mango with a subtle avocado flavor and a smooth, smoothie-like texture. Tiramisu Special Milk Tea - A unique drink with an eye-catching design on top. Be sure to mix it well before drinking! It has a strong cacao flavor, so consider asking for extra sweetness if you prefer sweeter drink (like me!). Passionfruit Super Fruit Cup - Love the cup this drink comes in! Just like the name suggests, it's both a drink and packed with fruit. Easily one of my favorites of all the drinks. Strawberry Mango Bloom - There are frozen fruit chunks at the bottom, so each sip comes with chewy, bite-sized pieces of fruit--which I really enjoyed! The mango flavor stands out more than the strawberry. Uji Matcha Cheese Slush - This was my favorite drink of them all! I'm a sucker for a good sweet matcha slush. Just be sure to mix the cheese topping into the drink for the full experience. Ambiance - Beautiful ambiance--perfect for a date or a relaxed hangout with friends. The space is gorgeously decorated with a touch of femininity, making it a very aesthetic and inviting boba shop.

Yelp
OVERALL : Such a pretty store! The first thing you see even from outside is their pink cherry blossom wishing tree, which perfectly accents the cute tables and clean interior. I liked that they served your usual milk and fruit teas but also some more inventive items in case you want to try something different. Loved everything I tried + I saw that they have wifi so this would be a good place to come get a bit of work done while sipping on a fun drink. Boba was chewy and I liked that you could adjust your sweetness / ice levels bc I've been gravitating towards less or even half sweet nowadays. The girls at the register were super patient and helpful when I didn't know what to get since it was my first time at the store and unfamiliar w their menu. PARKING : Big parking lot with ample space even if you have a big car :) Same plaza as Handel's, Wingstop, and Class 302 for all my Irvine locals FOOD/DRINKS : - Mango Sago - refreshing, creamy, not too sweet - Burnt Caramel Cheese Milk Tea - loved the brûlée on top and the milk tea had a unique flavor bc of the caramel and cheese! - Matcha Strawberry Milk - real strawberry bits, would def say this is not too matcha heavy bc of the fruit mixed in. I want to try a normal matcha drink next time to taste more of the matcha! - Passion Fruit Sparkling Tea w/ Brown Sugar Boba - very unique to have a sparkling tea at a boba shop, but this was fun! I like the option of having something other than normal fruit and milk tea.

Yelp
POGIBALLS REVIEW (5 Star Rating) [BenGong's Tea] 13238 Jamboree Rd., Tustin, CA https://www.bengongstea.us/ Food - 3 1/2 Stars Ambiance - bright and chill 4 Stars Cleanliness - 5 Stars Service - 3 Stars Restroom Cleanliness - N/A Order: Large Uji Matcha Boba Milk Tea with popping boba, regular ice and 50% sugar The Uji Matcha was luke warm and ice melted. The flavor of the matcha was overpowering due to the watered down nature of the drink. I'm sure the drink would have been better if it was served to us on time. We waited almost 30 minutes for our order, worker claimed that they called us but on there digital board the order was in process the entire time (32 minutes). We finally came up and asked about it when our order number disappeared from in progress and also from complete. When asked they claimed they called but that was not the case as I was paying attention the entire time watching everyone who ordered after us get there order. I would only dine here again if I was in the area and if there was no visible line. I'm sure my drink would have been better if it was cold.

Yelp
Came by when shopping at Target. We ordered the special BoBa milk tea at 75% sweet and Black Rice and taro milk tea at 50% sweet and 50% ice. Their BoBa was a little soft for my liking. The flavors were just okay. The Black Rice and taro drink had too much ice for 50% ice. The decor was intriguing! We liked the Chinese style art. Their service was mediocre.

Yelp
The tea is great. I typically order through DoorDash, but I work right around the corner so I decided to stop in. The place is dirty, The restroom it's disgusting. They need to clean. I hope that's not a reflection of the cleanliness behind the scenes

Yelp
Returned to Ben Gong's for a second try and everything was much better and we were happy with the drinks and service. Boba was chewy, fresh, and good consistency. Drinks had good flavor and unique options. Glad to see that the management receives feedback well and really works to deliver a quality product. We will be back again soon.

Yelp
I'm the type to not hold back when it comes to spilling the TEA on hyped up boba spots, and as a Taiwanese person with VERY picky taste in boba, I genuinely think @bengongstea.irvine might be one of the BEST boba shop openings lately! This Chinese chain specializes in authentically brewed Chinese teas, and you can really taste the difference in the strength and fragrance of their milk teas. I also enjoyed their fruit drinks, which are crafted from real fruit and are a refreshing alternative to their more creamy milk tea drinks. There was a bit of a wait for our drinks (probably because of how large the order was), but it was definitely not super busy on a weekend afternoon, and I would highly recommend checking them out before it becomes hyped up. If you're in the area, HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend checking them out for a menu that does both milk and fruit teas well! Featured here: mango pomelo sago Golden sesame milk slush Passionfruit sparkling tea Osmanthus rice milk tea Peach yakult tea Taro purple rice tea Strawberry cheese slush

Yelp
Beautiful modern interior design for a tea shop. They have some interesting drinks available, I got the Grape Cheese Slush. I would say it was pretty tasty. Can customize drinks if you want. However service is slower here than other tea shops.

Yelp
This shop initially caught my eye with their gorgeous cups and interior. The location in Arcadia was also recommended to me, so I was looking forward to visiting here since it's the same franchise without having to make the long drive. However, the drinks here unfortunately fell flat for me that day. Originally, my group got the Peach Oolong Milk Tea (no adjustments), Tea Cube Milk Tea - Jasmine Tea (25% sweetness, no ice), Pistachio Cloud Milk Tea (100% sweetness, no ice), and Osmanthus Rice Milk Tea (75% sweetness, less ice). We got some of our drinks replaced because we didn't like it, which is very nice of them (obviously don't be greedy and drink everything before asking them). Also, when we ordered through the self-order kiosk, most of their menu items did not have descriptions, so it felt like we were ordering somewhat blindly as there was only the names and pictures to go off of. However, even with the pictures, some of the drinks had the cups that were opaque and made it difficult to discern. - Peach Oolong Milk Tea: I got this at 100% sweetness. At the first sip, I had to pause because it did not taste like any peach oolong milk tea I've had anywhere else and not in a good way unfortunately. There was a slight tang that I couldn't explain. I can only assume that it might have been the peach because there were very little bits of something that I couldn't identify. After a couple more sips, I discovered that there was a topping inside too (automatically included in the drink apparently), but I don't know what it was based on what I'm seeing on the list of toppings they have. It was a chewy ball that pops and leaves you with a small flavorless piece inside that crunches like a softer crunchy veggie (I imagine it to be water chestnut popping boba as it's a popular boba topping overseas, but their menu only lists popping boba, which is entirely different that I've seen here in the States). Looking a little more into it, I translated their 'Popping Boba 马蹄爆珠', and according to the Google search, first link says it's 'water chestnut popping ball'. The sweetness was actually fine, not too sweet, but I did not enjoy this drink overall. I'm not sure if it was just a bad day, but if this is what it's supposed to taste like, I wouldn't recommend this. - Tea Cube Milk Tea - Jasmine Tea: My friend got this at 25% sweetness with no ice. The texture of the tea cubes was a nice jelly-like firmness, but it lacks a strong tea flavor despite being called tea cubes. This wouldn't have been an issue if the drink was flavorful. The tea in the drink, I could not taste because it tasted like milk diluted with water. I tried very hard to taste the tea, but unfortunately, I couldn't enjoy this drink to its full potential. My friend who usually gets this at their Arcadia location also agrees that this drink was flavorless and not what it's supposed to taste like from her previous experiences at the same franchise elsewhere. - Pistachio Cloud Milk Tea: My other friend got this at 100% sweetness with no ice. Again, I had the same issue with this drink where the flavor was lost on me. I couldn't taste the tea or pistachio. All I tasted was watered down milk. Would not recommend. - Osmanthus Rice Milk Tea: Another friend got this at 75% sweetness with less ice. It sadly tasted like the other two friends' drinks: bland and watered down milk. It wasn't any different from the other two despite the three having completely different flavor profiles: Tea Cube Milk Tea with jasmine tea, Pistachio Cloud Milk Tea, and Osmanthus Rice Milk Tea. I also would not recommend this drink. - Passionfruit Super Fruit Cup (not pictured): This was my replacement drink for the Peach Oolong Milk Tea I originally ordered. At 100% sweetness, it was perfect for me. I also tried my friend's at 50% sweetness, and that was good too. Fresh, light, and refreshing on a hot, sunny day! This drink helped me reconsider giving this shop another chance next time, giving the impression that they do have some great drinks on their extensive menu. However, it's unfortunate that I only came to this conclusion because of their drink dissatisfaction policy. Overall, I don't think I'd revisit this location as there are so many other shops local to the area to go to for consistently better drinks. Originally, I would have given only 1 star but decided to give an extra star for the nice service because they honored their drink dissatisfaction policy and for the replacement drink that convinced me to perhaps give them another chance in the future. So, based on this visit, I can only say that their drinks are a hit-or-miss, so for a good drink here, choose your drink carefully and don't be afraid to ask the workers if you're curious of a drink before making your order.

Yelp
I stopped in for a little Friday treat with my family and was pleasantly surprised. It was my first time here and wasn't sure what to expect. The exterior looks cute and once we entered it felt like we were having tea in a museum cafe. It's a cute curated cafe feel and look. I had the sparkling peach and strawberry tea, daughter had passion fruit super food tea, spouse had the strawberry cheese tea. All of the teas tasted high quality, refreshing, and delicious. I loved it but may not be rushing back because of the price, it was $27 for 3 teas! I mean worth it based on taste but pricey. Overall would recommend.
google avatar

Vivian U.

Yelp
We had high hopes; the place looked cute, the menu looked extensive, and there was some coupon to try things out. We tried the oolong super fruit cup, the golden sesame milk slush, a peach oolong milk tea with cream top, and osmanthus rice milk tea. Let's just say... the names carried a lot more than the drinks were able to deliver. I mean, the drinks weren't inherently bad, but they were nothing special. I couldn't really taste the tea flavor in the oolong or the osmanthus, which are my usual favorite, and they were on the sweet side. But hey, the wait time was reasonable and it wasn't too crowded (for a reason?). We haven't felt the urge to return yet, but hopefully there'll be another opportunity to try in the future?

Yelp
These drinks are gonna attract you all summer long like it's magnetic because they're the perfect sweet treat to cool you down especially in this hot weather @bengongstea.irvine came out with their new line of drinks including their uji matcha series, burnt-brown sugar drinks, osmanthus rice mochi frost, and phoenix oolong aromatic lemon tea! The osmanthus rice mochi frost & mango pomelo sago were my favorite out of all of them because I love the different textures of the popping pearls that literally looked like pearls in the snow & the mini chewy sago with the refreshing mango smooth icy slush! The cheese foam on all the other drinks was top tier! I love the mix of a lil salty and sweet! Don't forget to make a wish for 2025 & leave it on the wishing tree! : 1. Osmanthus Rice Mochi Frost 2. Strawberry Cheese Foam Matcha Latte 3. Burnt-Brown Sugar Boba Milk Tea 4. ‍‍Phoenix Oolong Aromatic Lemon Tea 5. Yelp
Steep Thoughts: Florence's Quest for (Her) Perfect Black Milk Tea Black milk tea: 0.5/2. I got the Black Boba Milk Tea, less ice, 50% sweet. I ordered via the kiosk and could not select an option to remove boba from the drink, and from what I can see there is no way to order a black milk tea without toppings. The milk tea itself is pleasant and mild, but the brown sugar syrup kinda drowns out any tea flavor even at 50% sweet. The boba is small, firm, and very chewy. Other drinks: 0.5/1. Good variety of milk teas, fruit teas, and slushie-type drinks. This shop's drinks are definitely more like desserts in terms of how dense they are. I really wish there were more drink options that didn't include some type of topping by default. Ambiance: 1/1. Cute decor with some small tables and chairs for seating. Service: 1/1. Order using the monitor near the counter, online, or at the counter directly. Service and menus available in both English and Chinese. Drinks come out quickly. Total: 3/5

Yelp
Stopped by before heading back home, and we're so glad we did. Ordered the uji matcha boba milk tea and was pleasantly surprised with the matcha taste and quality. Most matcha drinks at other boba shops aren't as good so I'm happy I decided to give this drink a try. The boba is perfectly warm and chewy. I did get the sweetness level at 75% - which was perfect, because the brown sugar boba made the drink sweeter. It is $1 more for a large, which I thought was kinda high, but the average boba drink is $7 anyways. The store is really cute inside - with a pink wishing tree. Service was quick and friendly as well. I'd definitely be back when I'm in the area again.

Yelp
Have been coming to Bengong tea for a while now. They have really yummy drinks. Variety of options. Staff is very nice as well. 100% recommend!
google avatar

Phoebe C.

Yelp
Known for its premium handcrafted teas, Bengong's Tea offers a variety of fruit teas, milk teas, and specialty drinks with high-quality ingredients. They have a modern, cozy indoor space--perfect for studying, working, or catching up with friends. What we got: * Osmanthus Rice Mochi Frost * Double Matcha * Uji Matcha Boba Milk Tea * Da Hong Pao Boba Milk Tea * Phoenix Oolong Aromatic Lemon Tea I recommend 25-50% sweet to let the tea flavors shine! Their purple rice topping is a must-try, and if you love classic milk teas, the black tea options are a solid pick.

Tarako S.

Yelp
WORST customer service experience ever. Tried to order a Buy 1 Get 1 free Pina Colada to get a free drink Sunday afternoon on 7/27 cuz they were doing a campaign. They gave me just one drink so I asked them where the free drink is. First a young staff member completely ignores me, and when I politely asked again another member says 'You should've done it on the Kiosk' with an attitude as if I did something wrong. There was no instruction on Kiosk, it even said BOGO on the screen so I assumed that I get it if I just ordered it. No apologies about not being clear, just rude and disrespectful customer service. Never coming back again to this location. In contrast their Garden Grove location is great, staff is super nice.
google avatar

Liz S.

Yelp
We just ordered from Door Dash because they had a special on Da Hong Pao Boba Milk (2 for 1) and I also got their Double Cream Matcha. Got 50% sweetness. Everything was excellent and priced well. Will definitely be back as their menu looks incredible. Excited this is now down the street from us!

Anna A.

Yelp
I've been to this boba shop a few times now, since it's so close to our house, but unfortunately, the last couple of visits have left me really disappointed. On my most recent trip, I noticed that I was charged more than the price listed on the menu. I usually don't look at my receipt, but this time we had a buy one get one half off promo so I just glanced at it and realized the math was off. When I brought it to the staff's attention, they called the manager over. She came out and adjust the electronic menu -- but even after the change, the price still didn't match what I was charged. She explained that the owner had increased the prices without informing her or updating the menu, and told me there was nothing she could do to honor the posted price. That's not only unprofessional, but misleading to customers. On top of that, my friend ordered a drink and asked to swap out a topping (something we've done in the past without issue), but this time she was charged extra for it -- another change we weren't told about in advance. The quality of the boba itself has also declined. The texture has been inconsistent. The past couple of times, the pearls were hard in the center. The first time, I just thought it was a fluke, but it happened again. I feel like they're reheating day old boba instead of making fresh batches daily. This place used to be a regular stop for us, but with the inconsistent pricing, poor communication, and declining quality, we're unlikely to keep coming back, especially with so many boba shops around town.
google avatar

Katie T.

Yelp
Came for free drink promo event they had and drink wise I'd say it was pretty decent as not many places offer black rice taro drink, so it's unique. I asked for 50% sweet, but it tasted like regular sweetness. Boba topping was on the harder side. Store said it opens at 11:00 am, but we had to wait 15 minutes before doors would open. Service was ok and they gave out some free small goodies, which was nice
google avatar

Andrea O.

Yelp
I've driven by this place so many times I finally decided to give it a shot and I've gone back consistently since. This is one place I'm now a regular at & I get a bunch of different drinks. Usually when I like a place I only like one drink but they have a great variety of milk, teas, fruit, teas, dessert drinks, etc. I definitely recommend trying this place if you're a Boba / milk tea fan! The ambience is nice too. It's well decorated and they have a lot of activities like games and beads for bracelets.

Yelp
This place has good tasting bobba and add that with the tea and options of sparkling tea , makes a good bobba drink. One other favorite item is the mango pomelo sago!

Yelp
Great service! Niki was so nice and helped me with recommendations. Definitely going back

Yelp
Love! Love! Love! This bubble tea is absolutely amazing! The milk tea is perfectly creamy with just the right level of sweetness, and the chewy tapioca pearls add a delightful texture. I love how fresh and flavorful every sip is--the balance of tea and milk is spot-on. The drink was prepared quickly and served in cute, Instagram-worthy packaging. The menu offers so many unique options, but my favorite is the classic brown sugar milk tea with boba. Highly recommend this place to any bubble tea lover! 10/10 would come back again and again. A must-try

Yelp
Love the pretty pink tree in front with all the handwritten notes and cards. Drinks are pretty and service is good! Few tables inside to work/study at but definitely worth swinging by!

Yelp
My current favorite boba place. The boba here is always good, and if it isn't, it's a 2 in 10 chance of that happening. The drinks are balanced as well. I'm never disappointed. I've tried a good amount of their top drinks and have liked them all. I do like the brown sugar milk tea boba and recently the uji matcha boba. Service is efficient and quick. The cafe itself is decent. Most people pick up and go, but a few people sit down and sip. I haven't seen people study here much though.

Yelp
A Chinese bubble tea house is a specialized café or shop that primarily serves bubble tea, also known as boba tea. Boba tea is a popular beverage that combines tea (usually black or green) with milk or fruit flavors and chewy tapioca pearls (boba). Here's what available at BenGong's bubble tea house: They offer a wide range of drinks, including traditional milk teas, fruit teas, slushies, and smoothies. They often provide customizable options for sweetness levels, ice levels, and additional toppings like fruit jellies, pudding, and popping boba. The ambiance is casual and inviting, designed for socializing and relaxation. The decor has a modern, colorful elements with comfortable seating, inspired by traditional Chinese backdrop of a wishing tree and Chinese artwork, to create an authentic experience. The menu features various flavors such as classic black milk tea, matcha, taro, and fruit-infused teas. Seasonal specials and unique house blends is also available. Besides bubble tea, this establishment also offers a selection of snacks and light bites and various pastries. The service is quick and efficient, with a focus on catering to both dine-in and take-out customers. We had about ten drinks for our family and it didn't take long to make. Overall, this spot lively, trendy spot that offers a taste bubble tea culture through its signature drinks and snacks.

Yelp
Been frustrated with the quality control of their drinks. 80% of the time the drinks come out with poor quality where either the boba is overcooked or water downed or dry pomelo. Furthermore, way too often the drink takes almost 30 mins to get even if there isn't a line. Sadly the place has potential as the drinks are good but I'm tired of waiting so long and end up getting a poorly made drink.

Yelp
My boss got us Tiramisu special Milk tea today, it was good! Nice and creamy, I finished the whole drink really fast . It was my first time trying this place, I'll definitely go back to try some of the other drinks as well!

Yelp
Nice cup design and the store had some neat decorations and a cool wish tree at the entrance. Didn't find my drink yet as the peach oolong white tea tasted more of milk and barely any flavor for 75% sweet. Also didn't expect some little no-flavored barley looking like boba pearls at the bottom of the drink, too. Other than that, service was fast and friendly.

Yelp
Cute shop and nice staff, but boy, is their menu confusing! We ordered a drink per the menu on the window and on the standing sign outside the door. There were 2 drinks that looked different but had the same drink name! That caused one drink to be made wrong, but good thing they were happy to correct the issue. I was pretty disappointed by this menu error. They should fix it. Be careful when ordering whatever is labeled "Avocado Mango Crema Slush" Double-check it on the menu image! I got the drink I I wanted after the correction, but the staff knows the menu isn't correct. They really should fix the signs because new customers can get frustrated when getting drinks that don't look like what we expect it to look. It's the right thing to do. Outside of that, the store itself is quite nice. Pretty decently maintained. Cute decor, but you can tell on the furniture and tables that they've been showing wear and tear for a shop that fairly new. Very busy place. Make sure to get the retail therapy app to save 20%!

Yelp
Bengong's Tea has friendly service and ambiance. I originally wanted the Creamy Lychee Milk Tea, but it was sold out. I tried the Da Hong Pao Cloud Milk Tea (a bit watery and lacking flavor) and the Peach Oolong Milk Tea. I got free drinks with my Yelp review. The Burnt Caramel Milk Tea and Osmanthus Milk Tea were decent. The staff even included rice, even though I declined, which I didn't enjoy much. I might give it another chance by trying different drinks next time.

Yelp
We came here on a Sunday evening and there was plenty of parking, the place wasn't crowded and the drink came within 5-10 minutes. We ordered: - Pistachio Cloud Milk Tea with boba ($7.98, large) we got this drink because we typically don't see pistachio flavored drinks, but this was such a disappointment. There was no pistachio flavor at all and it just felt like they added food coloring to the milk tea to make it green. The drink was also room temperature as well, I don't think they included any ice in the drink as it wasn't cold at all. Drink was not sweet either. We also asked one of the workers how many ounces the large cup was but she stated she didn't know. It was 70 cents extra to do large and we got it anyways because we thought the drink would be good. Very upsetting :(

Yelp
Friendly service, beautiful packaging, and lovely photography. The little store is cute, but it's echoey and the drink menu is uninteresting and uninspiring once you start reading it, compared to the professional, photoshopped images they show. ---The Peach Oolong Milk Tea has way too much milk, not enough tea, and is overly sweet compared to other tea places in OC (except Omomo) The wait is long, and the place is too noisy because of the echoing. The tea ends up being diluted to the point where all you taste is artificial peach flavor. Skip!

Yelp
Bengong tea is a chinese chain that opened up between Tustin and Irvine. They have an extensive menu and a very cute store interior. Their store revolves around a wish tree and every customer can write their own and hang it up! My favorite drinks were the golden sesasme slushie and peach oolong boba. This was the best sesame drink I've had at a boba store, super rich, creamy, and strong but natural smell/taste. The only thing I wasn't a fan of was their crystal boba because it wasn't what I was expecting. I'm use go an agar consistency, however the ones here resembled more of a sago x popping pearls texture and taste.
