The initial impression is that they are not very accommodating when it comes to certain items, and it feels like they are cutting corners. The tortilla soup, for instance, seemed more like a basic dish with just corn tortillas in a sauce, despite its rich and deep flavor. The tacos lacked toppings, which again gave the impression of trying to save costs. On a positive note, the tomatillo sauce had a delightful kick to it.
The atmosphere felt quite cramped, with tables packed closely together, creating a claustrophobic vibe. The bathrooms appeared to be in disrepair, and parking was nonexistent. However, I will acknowledge that it is conveniently located for a quick meal within walking distance, as long as you don't have any special requests or need to make changes due to dietary needs or restrictions especially with a huge kid focused hospital nearby.
Suggestions: make it more accessible. Clean up the bathrooms.
And if it is authentic state it and say it will not be like traditional Tex-Mex.
And above all, be more accommodating to people who need restrictions instead of charging them more because of it.
