I am so happy after I leave Jarrod's chair. The look is super natural, enhancing my features and not overdone. And I always get compliments, who doesn't love that!! I had an unfortunate color experience when I was living abroad, and Jarrod has now gotten it back to what it was. On top of the exceptional results, his techniques are highly efficient and his service is luxurious. He takes the time to know what you're looking for and gives his own expert recommendations. I went to Benjamin Salon for the first time because my stylist, Huey, moved there recently. I followed Huey because he is the best barber/stylist I have found since moving back to LA a few years ago. I tried quite a few before I found him. His work is always on point and he is consistently good every time that I go. Prior stylists have slacked off over time, but I actually think his work gets better as he gets to know my hair better. On Benjamin Salon I will say that I was happy with the overall vibe and service. There is definitely a great energy and their cleanliness and customer service from checking in, my hair wash, and checking out were great.

Huey's an amazing barber, I've followed him from two other locations to Benjamin Salon. He's even colored my hair and it turned out perfect. This is my favorite "barber shop" I've been to in LA; I love the Beverly Hills salon vibes. Lots of good-looking people but down to earth.

Unfortunately I had a horrible experience here, if you are doing research for CURL stylists/salons please read. I had an appointment with Sabrina to go from shoulder length 3a curls to a pixie cut. I was looking forward to this as Sabrina came highly recommended for curly hair. I’m not usually one to pay $400 for a cut but I wanted it done by the best, so I paid a premium. Ended up being one of the most unprofessional and unsatisfying of my experiences. I was on time to my appointment and waited 30 minutes for her to finish up with other clients. I was hardly acknowledged while waiting though she did apologize after the fact. I thought “fine, she takes her time with her clients” and I guessed I’d be getting the same careful attention during my appointment. Not the case. She assured me she would cut a bit at a time to see how it looked as we went along. Which would’ve been great and I was totally on board. Gave her 3 or 4 reference photos and videos of what I wanted and she seemed confident in executing. As she’s cutting my hair she is bouncing back and forth with other clients. I’m not sure if she is always this overbooked or if she was covering for someone but she didn’t mention anything of the sort. As we’re chatting, it came up that I was going to Coachella.She immediately asked me “GA or VIP?” I thought that was an odd follow up. When I told her I was GA I asked if she had gotten VIP tickets herself. “No, well not yet. I’m trying to see if one of my clients will hook me up.” That felt gross, seemed like she was poaching me for tix. Maybe that’s not the case, but that’s how it came across. At this point I wasn’t enjoying how she was coming across but as long as my hair looked good that’s the service I’m paying for. But then she ended up cutting it too short anyways. She knew she had cut it too short as well, because she said so. As she was realizing she cut it too short she blamed my hair texture on why it didn’t go according to her plan. As a “curl specialist” I would expect her to take my texture into consideration throughout the process. My hair length and shape didn’t look like any of the reference photos I showed her. She seems overbooked to me, if she was paying attention and took her time I think it would’ve went well. The sad part was I thought maybe she had other clients after me to get to but nope, I was her last client of the day. The whole thing felt rushed and unprofessional. I couldn’t believe the service I got for what I paid.

I'm a blond and not one single stylist I've ever had, has managed to come close to what I've always desired. Not only does she nail the color, but she has preserved the health of my hair as well. I followed Michael Rincon to Benjamin Salon for my bi-annual haircut and it was such an amazing experience! I already love Michael for his attention to detail in layering my long asian hair, but the salon itself provides the best service. I really loved the refreshment choices, my hair wash, and the comfortable atmosphere. Everyone was not only beautiful, but very friendly and approachable. Michael is an incredible listener and conversationalist. Those qualities are very impactful and it shows based on the result of my hair. He is also well versed in neighboring restaurants if you want to show off to the public after getting your hair done. Thanks again, Michael. See you in 6-months!

Dylan is the best! She has the golden touch. I'm very self-conscious about my thin hair, but she knows how to cut it to make it look full. Honestly, blessed to have found her. I'm sad she's in nyc but glad we get her a few times throughout the year.

Love to come here because of my hair stylist, Yasuna. She came up with the cut that I like all the time. I have been coming to her for many years, so she knew how to make me happy. I love kinda funky haircut but not extremely funky and she got it. One time she wasn't available to cut my hair on the day I want to get it cut, so she recommended another stylist here. My hair came out good! This place has many creative and talented stylists. They have a small parking lot and street parking. If your appointment is early, for sure the parking is no problem to find. All employees here are friendly.

Yasuna really can do it all. On the day of my wedding, she did my husband's and my hair and put so much care and precision into it. My hair did not budge an inch all evening. This was even after my uncle decided it was a good idea to ruffle my hair like a 5 year old. -_- I recently also went in to see her for the infamous post-wedding chop and to get to my roots of having short hair! I love my new Hailey Bieber inspired bob. I originally went to Yasuna when my hair was short and she is just so great at short hair. Yasuna: The Bob Queen!!

My hair was in deep need of a new cut and I had never dyed my hair my whole life. The first time I had a hair cut while curly. The girl I spoke to over the phone was patient and helped me make an appointment. I was very confused on what I should get done to my hair. Upon arrival I got there early to grab,a drink from the grocery store across the way. I checked in with reception. She was not sitting at a desk but had a lab top so I assumed it was her. My appointment was with Jesse and Sabrina. They both come with recommendations so I knew it was going to be expensive but I wanted the best. I know my hair is expensive and I wanted the best outcome. Jesse was the first person I met for color and she was professional and calmed my nerves immediately. She assured me that I would get the best results possible. She asked me for the style I was going for and I showed her a picture. I wanted natural and simple. Her assistant was so sweet and let me talk the whole time which I appreciated. She was very thorough. She and Jesse did an amazing job working on me and another one of her clients at the same time. I was well taken care of through out the process of getting my hair dyed.I really enjoyed the hair massaged as I lay back my hair to get it washed. The process was smooth and every time my hair was rinsed. I was asked what temperature I'd like to have on my head. It was so relaxing. Sabrina was called in before my hair got dyed to style my hair since I wanted a fringed bang. She arrived early to do the cut before my color took place. She was excellent. She was very thorough and made sure my hair was styled to my exact expectations. She is very detailed and very fun especially with her assistant. They were both friendly and bantered quite a bit. It made for a very relaxing environment. My time at Benjamin's salon was amazing also due to a well-rounded experience. I deeply enjoyed everyone's relaxing vibes. The music was good. The maintenance and space of Benjamin's salon made for a great experience. Upscale and happy cheerful beautiful people. Everything luxury! Zo Park is the best stylist I've ever had. Hands-down. Allow me to tell you a story. I don't like having my hair cut. I don't like people touching my head. I have a lot of head trauma. It's deeply psychological, so going to the stylist can be a traumatizing affair. I can say with 100% honesty that Zo is the first stylist I've ever had that made me feel comfortable in the chair, and here's why. She is smart as a whip, and her pride in her work is palpable. I was referred by a friend who follows her on social media, and despite my apprehensions, I gave it a shot. Quite simply, Zo gave me the most natural haircut, the most attractive haircut, that I've ever had in Los Angeles. I like people who take their work seriously. I take my work seriously. I'm willing to pay good money to work with professionals, who when I am in their company dedicate their time, focus and energy on me and me alone, until the job's done right. She listened to me, she didn't bullshit me. And I walked out with my money's worth. Will definitely return. In Zo I trust.

Zo Park is simply color master When I'm in her hands, I know that I can just let go and have her work her magic with no stress in my mind. She's taken me through all shades of red all the way to blonde! Not only that, but she's also incredible at cutting hair and always gives me the most beautiful cut. Every time I leave the salon I feel like a new woman! Last but certainly not least, she's a blast to hang out with and talk to! We immediately had a strong connection. There is never a dull moment with her! I strongly recommend anyone to come to Zo. She loves what she does and it shows. She will pamper and transform you! I wish I could give her 10 stars!!

So I was looking to go from my dark black hair to platinum and Mateo did it with no problem. Not only does my hair grow faster it's healthier than ever ! I have a sensitive scalp and allergic to bleach and he gets the job done right the first time! He is definitely a talented artist!

I would follow them anywhere but the good news they are both with Benjamin Salon in West Hollywood, a customer friendly, unpretentious, good vibe salon. It's a comfortable place to get glammed. Love my artist Michael! We did a cut and color and he always knows exactly what he's doing with my hair. He never cuts too much and the color came out stunningly. The blend was so rich and natural. Visiting him is always so fun and comfortable, just like visiting a good friend. The space was also super cute and homey, but upscale. There was a bunch of street parking nearby and I went mid-day on a Saturday! They also have a small parking lot with valet parking but I didn't need to use it. The rest of the staff was also super kind and inviting. The assistant who helped me, Christian, was super sweet and talented. He gave a killer wash and head massage. Another staff member also offered me refreshments and made a latte exact to my liking and brought it to me on a tray with cute Chinaware. Can't wait until the next time I get to see Michael and the rest of the staff at Benjamin Salon West Hollywood. Can't recommend enough!

Leland gave me the best haircut of my life! Let me tell you about the mess I walked in with that he had to deal with: I have big, thick, wavy hair that I've been cutting myself and it was short in some places and longer in others. In the wrong hands, I'll end up with Midwestern mom hair or a big 80's bouffant. Somehow Leland kept my length and gave me an awesome shape and texture in the exact right places He just knew exactly what to do! You know how after some haircuts, the bangs are a little too short or you need to wait a few weeks before it looks good? The haircut was slaying the minute I walked out- perfection! I had a great first-time experience at Benjamin Salon last weekend. I've been going to the same barber, Huey Nguyen, ever since I moved to LA. Huey recently moved to Benjamin Salon from his old barbershop and so I made the switch as well. First off, the staff at Benjamin Salon were very friendly and attentive. Check-in downstairs was quick, and I was then directed to my chair upstairs. As per usual, I got a fantastic haircut from Huey--he shows incredible attention to detail and is always open to discussing different cut/style options. Safe to say I will be back for my regular cut with Huey @ Benjamin Salon!

Liz Jung is the hair magician!! She's gradually transformed me from average highlights to the perfect bronde! She took her time listening and understanding my hair goals without pressuring me on following trends. I take regular trips to LA for touch ups and look forward to every visit not just for my hair care but also for all the fun with her during my appointment. She is truly an artist and a master at her craft.

Zoe is the go to stylist. If you want someone who actually cares about what looks best on you- you go to her. She has taken me from blonde, to red and all shades in between and nails it every time. Her cutting technique is unmatched and has done things with my hair that I never thought possible and only dreamed of doing. THANK YOU SO MUCH ZOE!!!

I've been going to Benjamin Salon and seeing Mateo for some time now. I love experimenting with my hair (Curly/wavey hair) and doing color and Mateo always gets it right. I love that he knows what's trending before it does and that he is not shy away to tell me if a certain look might not be the best fit for me. Have referred friends to him as well.

Zo is my hair girl for life. She is the best and always does a fantastic job with making giving me an amazing blonde color but still somehow looks effortless and almost natural. She is one of a kind!!! I seriously love this place. 10/10 !!

ZOE PARK - ZOE PARK - Had my color done by this amazingly talented colorist named Zoe Park and holy moly she blew me out the water with this color. First of all, I have done my hair many special effects colors over my years but have never had my color this original. I told Zoe to do "whatever is clever" and she took it to the next level ! I have never had this many compliments on my color and the placement of the color. When you do funky colors for over ten years it's a surprise to have your hair feeling healthier when you walk out of the salon versus walking in. Not to mention she is such a sweet woman who has passion in what she does, which truly shines through in her work

Jarrod is amazing! I have worked with him for over a decade. He is fantastic as a colorist and always delivers on a style that suits my goals. I am so thankful to have found him. Funny story, when we met at the Jonathan Salon, he did a corrective color (from another colorist) and explained the mistakes and resulting hair breakage. At first I was apprehensive - but Jarrod was direct, we need a path to recovery. In the months to come I had healthier hair and a color I loved. Now years later, I would not consider working with someone else. Jarrod Fisher is top of the line, both in consulting on hair products or styling tools, and of course, color!

My Forever Favorite Zoe Park!! I had such an amazing experience and was left with a beautiful blonde locks! Such a work of art. She's so precise, grabbing piece by piece making sure the contrast, color and dimension is perfect. PLUS she legit goes out of her way to learn more on color no matter how many years of work she's had. That shows me she's a stylist that wants to be better every time. Therefore my trust in her is tight and locked. Highly recommend to all ladies and gents. She found me with terrible broken hair and she created this beautiful blonde and softened my strands the way I've been NEEDING it to be. Even giving me the best products to keep my hair shiny and bright! She takes in consideration what you're vision is and provides ideas and comparisons to make sure you get what you want! If you have asian hair then you have to go Jess! She is the best asian bleaching guru. I've been going to her for two years now. She knows exactly how to lift and balayage your hair without any noticeable damages. I'm always more than satisfied with the results! One thing I love is that my balayages can last up to 6 months without a touch up. That's impressive! Jess is also very welcoming and fun to talk to while you're in the chair. 100% recommend her! You will not be disappointed.
