Benjamin's Restaurant & Pub

This had to be some of the best food I ever had, if you haven’t tried this place PLEASE DO!!! The sandwich was amazing, the wings were huge and so so so juicy!! And our waitress Nicole was incredibly sweet<3

Ok, this was an unexpected bonus. First off, me and my brother wanted to get a drink and some food (had a late night craving). Alot of places were serving alcohol late at night, but all the restaurants stop serving food by 9 so it was hard to find a place to eat (with the exception of fast food like BK or Mickey D's). This place happened to serve food, wasnt far from the hotel. Now, it is a bar so its a little darker but its really chill. I especially love the welcoming and honesty/frankness of the servers. The foods had unique names (btw, Holy Schnit!) and me and my brother were so curious that we tried a few things there and it was really filling for the price, tasty and different. The music was pretty on point, some nice classic 90s rock jams. If I lived near this area, I would go with my old school friends and chill there as much as I can, it was way worth it.

Benjamin's Pub is a true local gem with a fantastic, laid-back atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and it's clear this is a family-owned and operated place that takes great pride in its community feel. Their menu has a wonderful variety of delicious options. You can't go wrong with their wings and wide selection of sauces like Maine Man Flavahs and Honey Gochujang. We also loved the unique offerings like the Dilly Medallions and the Buff Chicken Mac, which is a cheesy, hearty masterpiece. Whether you're looking for a quick bite from their impressive list of handhelds and smashburgers, or a fun night out with great hospitality, Benjamin's Pub is a definite must-visit!

We were in the area for a wedding and stopped here on our way down. The birria grilled cheese was just insanely good. As were the mac and cheese bites. My husband loved his buffalo mac and cheese, too. The staff and owner were so friendly and we had a great time chatting with them. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in the Bangor area. Give this new business a chance, you won't regret it.

The food is always amazing and the staff is always friendly! Quality drinks, newer pool tables and sometimes movie nights! Definitely a great place to relax or have a night of fun - whichever youre looking for! Not many places downtown have a mix of everything so I definitely appreciate the vibe here!

Great little pub. Reminds me of my time in university. Definitely going back! Love the fact that the pub is downstairs and there is a pool room. Beer, great food, wings, pool...now if I could only be 25 years younger! What else do I need?

I was stoked to try this place, having read the menu online. It looked fun and tasty. I got there and was really disappointed. The flight of stairs down was not anyway handicapped accessible. Being dependent on a cane hampered my ability to go down so many stairs to get in. It would have been really nice had they advertised the fact that they were not set up for people who have a disability. Darn.

We went to Benjamin's for some drinks while hopping around Bangor and were pleasantly surprised!! Under new ownership, Benjamin's is a great place to add to our list of usual stops during our nights out. With a pool table for the people who want an activity while they're drinking, a huge wall of 9 screens to make up one giant tv to watch the hottest event, and a jukebox to satisfy everyone's own music cravings, it's a great place to go with a group. There was also plenty of staff working which made it super easy and fast to order drinks, kept the place clean of dirty glasses/dishes, but also made it feel very safe like everyone was being watched out for. While we were there we ordered some onion rings to snack on and the WHOLE group loved them. We will be making sure we go for a full meal soon because their menu looks great.

Clarko and Mandy have done such an amazing job with so much more in store!!! We had brunch here for the first time and WOW. Just simply amazing. Love the family and community feeling you get when you come here! 10/10 will be back!!!!

Want a place to go and relax ans unwind with friends? This is the place! Have you seen the pictures of the food and drinks on Facebook and Instagram? The food is delicious and the atmosphere is friendly and upbeat. There is a huge video wall and 7 other televisions so you won't miss the game. This has the Cheers vibe, where the staff get to know your name and owners are always there.

I have been to this pub a couple of times and usually give places a few times before I make a permanent decision about them especially if they are new so that they can work out any issues. I went down there last night to visit with friends. The bartender took my order and seemed very competent, the drink was very good. However the fries I ordered were not fixed right, we did request new ones. The bartender, unaware of this, came along and asked if I liked them noticing that they were gone. No, I don't eat that fast. We told him that they came with pepper on them, fries do not generally come with pepper and should not come with pepper on them. He argued with me and belittled me. My friend complained to the owner about this and she talked to him. He barely said a thing to me after this and mostly ignored me the rest of the night and definitely no apology for belittling me, the customer. Oh wait it gets better, I went to facebook when I got home and wrote a review as I had made up my mind that the lack of manners meant I didn't want to come back. One owner replied that it was an early birthday present that I wouldn't be back. The other owner accused me of heckling him, I barely said a word to him after the incident, however others did. As a result I would say this place is not worth the time or energy to go to again. Oh and the food is only mediocre at best to boot. I only went because my friends were going. No wonder the place was rather empty.

I absolutely love this place and what they've done with it!!! The food here is amazing! Especially the cheese fried pickles!!! the service Dennis provides is spot on! I highly recommend checking them out!

The food is awesome and everybody loves it down there except Natalie H. She is a miserable person. Sometimes I wish I could leave a review on a person but this is good enough. She came in with a negative vibe and left even worse. She claimed she would not be back and we couldn't be happier. We will pray for you but from a far away distance. Please do what you say and never return.
