Benji's Bagel and Coffee House

This place hits the spot for an early morning breakfast run. East coast style bagels with a hearty amount of schmear (cream cheese). The bagels are soft, fluffy, and large with a good crispy outside. A big win for me was that the everything seasoning was on both sides of the bagel, not just the top. There are various cream cheese flavors (all made in house) with several having options to be made vegan. The rise and shine sandwich was spot on, and the chai latte was pretty and delicious. Will definitely be back!!

It’s so nice to have a local place where you can enjoy freshly made bagels and cream cheeses. The café is spacious, and there are outlets available for laptop charging, making it a great spot to work or study. Most of all, the staff are super friendly, which makes the experience even better!

On our trip to Nashville we heard about this hidden gem called Benjis Bagels. We were so lucky because we found out that they opened their new location in the east on Cherokee Avenue. We were a group of 10 and we were were so excited to try it. Well, we were not disappointed. The food was just amazing. The bagels were perfection as were the schmears. When we started to order we told the cashier that we had a Sesame allergy in our group. The owner Becca overheard And assured us that she would take care of it herself. The Customer Service we received was outstanding ~ hospitality to its fullest. This bagel shop is a must try if you’re in Nashville. Look up Benji’ s bagels. Either on the east side, or the West side, either one will enthrall your taste buds. The atmosphere, the food, the hospitality 10 out of 10 ~ a must try~ next time you’re in Nashville.

Benji’s Bagels can hold their own against any authentic New York bagel shop. I’m dairy-free and usually this severely limits my options at bagel shops, but not here! Benji’s has five different vegan schmear flavors. I got the Rise and Shine breakfast sandwich on an everything bagel with the chili crunch schmear, and I was blown away. I think I just became a regular.

Stopped in on a whim, I had a turkey sandwich with a spicy cucumber dill smear and it was bomb! Bagel was delicious and a really good size. Staff was super friendly and the lemonade was surprisingly good as well! Will definitely be back!

These bagels are amazing! I am dairy free and was absolutely blown away by how good their vegan cream cheese is and how many options there were! Can’t wait to go back here!

NYC quality bagels with amazing prices, service, and atmosphere.

New York Standards on Nashville Mornings...I can dig it - welcome to the neighborhood, Benji's! Benji's Bagel & Coffee House is a new addition to the neighborhood and sits in the large plaza on Cherokee that also houses Frankie's 925 and the Flats apartments. This is one of two current Nashville locations. They focus on bagels and all types of cream cheeses, the coffee is just a bonus! You can get bagels with all variety of schmears from plain to savory, sweet and even spicy...or a mixture of everything! Before committing, you can even sample a schmear like its gelato, which is super cool and helpful! In addition to all the bagels/cream cheese, they have a good variety of house curated bagel sandwiches. We got the Music Row, which is a classic style sandwich and then the Hangover, which had a more Mexican flare with the chorizo and tortilla aioli. Both were phenomenal and PACKED full of the goods! In addition to the food, they have a solid menu of coffee and non-coffee drinks. I went with a classic iced coffee and added a house made syrup, brown sugar to be exact. And as expected...delish! Service was stellar as well. The cashier, barista and food runners were all friendly, engaging and just a joy! Overall, delightful spot that is worth the hype and stop in!

I was so impressed by these bagel sandwiches, its one of the best ones I have had in Nashville. I ordered the Rise and Shine on an everything bagel and wow the chili crunch cream cheese paired with a fried egg, cheddar, and choice of bacon or sausage...chef's kiss. They hand-roll, and then kettle boil their bagels and they are on the larger side. I already am planning my next return to try other bagel flavors and their coffee drinks. I saw they have house-made coffee syrups which I always think are worth trying. Plenty of seating inside and friendly service! Overall, I am so happy I found this spot in East Nashville.

The staff is amazing and super friendly! They're like a hidden gem in this small community. I had a sandwich there that was absolutely amazing--10 out of 10! I highly recommend the steak sandwich.

Absolutely amazing bagel sandwiches and great coffee. The ladies working the counter were super friendly and the food came out fast. They had a table to accommodate our large group. Got the rise and grind and the chili crunch schmear changed my life.
