Google
Good selection of sticky buns. Went with the vanilla and it was really good! The worker was very nice. It was empty on the Saturday at 2p when I went. The vanilla was flavorful and soft after warming up. Super delicious and would recommend! There is one indoor table and one outside. Cost is $9 per bun

Google
Small shop but delicious buns that aren't overly sweet and really great service. I loved the corn bread cinnamon roll unique moist and fun flavor. Biscoff was second best and caramel pecan in third. Menu changes weekly.

Google
Owner was really cool and staff was super friendly. The texture off rip I thought was going to suck based off the touch but once I bit into it, it definitely changed. The center was nice and gooey with a lot of cinnamon around the center but I wish it was consistently throughout with cinnamon. My favorite was the lotus biscoff and the lemon blueberry. I liked these because they weren’t super sweet and had the right amount of toppings. I would definitely go back and would recommend. Flavors change every 2 weeks so get it while it’s there if you find something you really like

Came here twice in 24 hours, what does that tell you??! That vanilla-frosted cinnamon bun is so freakin' good and I am a cinnamon roll fiend. Sure, they're too expensive ($9) but love how huge they are, the freshness of the dough, and how they warm it up for you so you can really dive into the gooey, cinnamon center. Big perk: no line and nothing was sold-out. Enjoyed the pecan and Biscoff ones but the vanilla-frosted is classic goodness. 5 stars!!!

Google
These cinnamon rolls are absolutely delicious the base of the bun was fluffy and soft. We got 3 flavors: pumpkin pie, apple crumble, and glazed. Our favorite were the glazed and pumpkin pie which had good flavor and maybe one of the best cinnamon rolls ive tried, the apple crumble could have more apple flavor but Overall we will be coming back to try more upcoming cinnamon roll flavors😋

Google
Absolutely incredible! I dream about this cinnamon bun. If you’re choosing between here or spirals, definitely choose Benji! If you’re someone who loves a soft and gooey cinnamon roll this place is for you. It’s not at all dry, it’s huge, comes perfectly warmed up, and all of the flavors looked delicious. I cannot recommend it enough! I’ve been telling all my friends to try it.

Google
Was very excited to try because I love cinnamon rolls! I got the vanilla frosted and give it a 4/5. The frosting was so creamy and light and the bun was very easy to cut and felt cloud like. The reason I don’t give it a 5/5 is because the cinnamon sugar on the inside of the roll is barely noticeable and can hardly taste it. Additionally it was only distributed to the inner circles and not all over

Google
Steeply priced but a nice neighborhood joint for a sweet treat. I appreciate their unique flavors, but the classic is definitely the best IMO! They do not skimp on the frosting.

Yelp
The buns are incredible, and the interior is so cute. The shop has very good vibes and the employees are lovely! Perfect start for a weekend date.

Yelp
I stopped by on a weekday night and was met with very friendly service. This spot had some seating, which made it a nice and quiet place to grab a quick treat. The Pumpkin Spice Cinnamon Roll paired well with a hot latte, which had the perfect balance of milk and espresso.

Yelp
Of the three most recent cinnamon roll dedicated shops that have opened in Manhattan I have to say with sadness this was my least favorite. I came running for the sticky toffee pudding bun only to be sorely disappointed, having expected the classic treacle and dark, rich flavor profile of the classic British dessert but alas, it tasted identical to a cinnamon raisin bagel. The lotus biscoff bun had the barest whisper of biscoff flavor which too was quite the disappointment. The characteristics of the buns over all is that they are super doughy. I personally prefer something fluffier so I think overall it was just a miss for me. I would come back to try their Dubai chocolate bun or any other unique flavors but won't be in a hurry.

Yelp
Benji's is a hole in the wall place with a couple tables inside but mainly a grab and go type of vibe. They have a bunch of flavors, though it seems like they sell out quickly as they are rotating through empty and full trays. I wanted the vanilla frosted roll but they ran out, so I opted for the apple pie (they said the apple pie has the vanilla frosting along with apple). I absolutely loved my topping-- the frosting is delicious and creamy, and the apple elevated the whole bun. Unfortunately, the bun itself was disappointing. It was too doughy and soft, and I almost thought it tasted bland? It was teetering on a cardboard-y taste. Mine was saved by that amazing frosting and apple topping, but my friend got the original which didn't have anything on top. The flavor, or lack thereof, of the dough was especially present in that one. I like their rotating menu, but I'd only recommend Benji's if you like your buns doughy and soft.

Yelp
This is a small shop and there was 1 worker when we walked in in the evening. The service was friendly and fast, as the shop was empty. We got the classic cinnamon bun which was just okay. It was very bready, expensive, and not warm even though we ate it right away.

Yelp
I like that they rotate flavors seasonally, and that they are open late, but unfortunately the buns were a bit of a miss for me overall. I went later in the day and the buns were still relatively fresh, but not warm, which I didn't mind. I ordered the classic with vanilla, lotus cookie butter, and seasonal pumpkin spice. The base buns were all the same and were pretty doughy and possibly underbaked. The frostings are what differentiated the three. A little too much of it for my personal taste, but not an issue since I can always remove some. The vanilla and cookie butter frostings were nice and fluffy, but the pumpkin spice lacked in flavor - it was neither pumpkin-y or spicy enough. Overall, the place fell flat of my expectations but I know they're new to the area and hopefully they'll work out their kinks over time.

Yelp
Ordered: Vanilla Cream Cinnamon Bun (~$10) Aya's take: Cinnamon buns seem to be more popular than usual this year, and I'm not mad about it. Benji's is a new spot that recently opened up serving classic and unique flavors of cinnamon buns. We got the Vanilla Cream Cinnamon Bun which is a pretty standard flavor, but executed well here. The bun itself was soft, not too chewy, and not overly sweet. The sweetness comes from the Vanilla Cream which had a great smooth texture and was rich & sweet in flavor. The ratio of bun to cream was also solid! I hate when I'm eating a cinnamon bun and feel like I need to ration out the cream. Highly recommend sharing as they are pretty big. Slightly overpriced but good try nonetheless.

Yelp
Im giving five stars because of my overall experience here. Decided to pick this spot for my first of many stops for some cinnamon rolls. The weather was beautiful this fall day in October, so I grabbed one of my daughters to come along with me after showing her pictures from off the net. I needed to get that cookie butter roll. So this shop is pretty small but big enough to share with maybe a handful of guests inside and outside. The decor is beautiful and gave cozy coffee house vibes, with the furniture that was used on the inside. As soon as I came in a saw that cookie butter it was my first choice. My daughter got the vanilla and ate it right on the spot. I was so tempted and didn't expect to get a whole six pack because they all looked so amazing. The pleasant man that helped me asked if I wanted them heated up, I said yes to my daughters and no to the ones I wanted to take home. The overall results, go now! Go get some of these delicious warm freshly baked rolls. Next time I will get more info about the owner and his name. My eyes got the best of me but my stomach wasn't mad about it either. Two thumbs up! Happy Yelping!

Yelp
Absolutely amazing! Got the vanilla cinnamon bun and I am now obsessed! The ooey gooey center is perfection still thinking about it today. It was fresh, warm and perfect

Yelp
I got the vanilla frosted cinnamon bun and was unfortunately pretty disappointed. The bun itself was very bland. The texture was also not great- it's very doughy which I don't necessarily mind but some bites were almost gluey. I did like the frosting, but with tax this came to $9.79 and was really not worth it. They use the same base for all flavors and just change the topping.

Yelp
Lovely small spot down the street from l'industrie pizza. Decided to walk over while someone else waited in line for pizza. Got the vanilla frosted bun, it was nice and warm, the frosting wasn't too melted but I think it was a bit too sweet. I like more of a cream cheese frosting but might have to go back to try the other varieties! Definitely shareable with 1-3 people.

Yelp
Benji's Buns is all about cinnamon rolls - if you check out their social media, they announce and feature new flavors, such as Barbie. We tried the Biscoff, the Strawberries & Cream, and the Barbie - the cinnamon rolls are warm, soft, and actually not that sweet while being decadent at the same time - it has a nice layer of the cream cheese frosting. The space is super cute and bright - staff were welcoming and friendly! Note that their rolls can sell out quick, so get there early! +cinnamon rolls +check their social media for flavor updates +friendly service

Yelp
Yum Yum Yum So deliciously yummy. I tried the Lemon Blueberry flavor and got one Dubai chocolate bun to go! I also got their cortado coffee made with intellegista coffee. Everything is homemade from scratch using owner Ben's recipe. They heat it up for you so it's nice and warm. Ben was divine and had such a wonderful conversation with him about the origin of some of flavors. He's the #1 cinnamon bun in the UK and excited for all NYC locations coming soon! My bun was only 450 calories which is amazing.

Yelp
Delectable! After a great show, nothing like a sweet treat to warm your belly! The team here is AMAZING! The biscoff bun was great, they even warmed it for me. You must try them.

Yelp
Such a delightful addition to the Village. The cinnamon buns are super soft and have a dreamy texture to them that just melts in your mouth. The shop is beautifully set out (love the color scheme!) and the service is really friendly as well despite it being pretty busy.

Yelp
Delicious cinnamon buns and such kind service! Better than some other hyped up places for sure - will be my go to spot in Manhattan for buns.

Yelp
Yummy buns! I was a big fan of the lotus biscoff bun. Some of the heavily frosted buns were too sweet. The portions are large!

Yelp
Benji Buns makes the best cinnamon rolls I've ever had! Perfectly soft and fluffy, with just the right balance of sweetness and spice. Each bite melts in your mouth, and the icing is pure perfection -- rich, creamy, and not too sugary. You can taste the care and quality in every roll.

Yelp
I got the biscoff cinnamon bun while my friend got the strawberry one. If I had to do it again, I would get the strawberry one too, the frosting had a creamier texture which I liked better. I'd be interested to try some of their other flavors though! Just a heads up there's not a ton of seating though!

Yelp
For late night dessert open after 10:00 PM or midnight, this is probably the best option. I have the apple cider, biscoff, and vanilla. Apple cider was good and not too heavy and it wasnt overpowered with sugar. 7.5/10 Vanilla, had wayyyy too much cream. I wouldn't recommend but if you get ybe apple cider and mix it with the vanilla a little bit than its really good. The vanilla cream is on top of the bun like a whipped cream, but thicket and a lot of it. 6/10 Biscoff was really good and almost felt a little cake texture but definitely very good. It was for sure heavy and sugary so if you don't mind that, definitely its a must get! 9/10 I am slightly curious on the other buns, are they have on sugar like biscoff or very little on sugar like the apple cider. Overall it was a good experience and I would get it again because of the biscoff and try the other buns as well.

Yelp
Looking for friendly service in NY? Look for this new iconic yellow box, from this quint little bakery in West Village! The scent of cinnamon will draw you in, but these rolls will bring you back! This was my first time in with my wife and son! Had to try the flagship cinnamon roll, great....but the Biscoff butter cookie cinnamon roll was awesome! But, not to be outdone by the warm pumpkin spice cinnamon rolls on a fall day! What a great find!

Simran L.

Yelp
Great service, so fast and kind. Told the employee we are going to eat it later, can you want it extra. He did that and packed it in a stapled bag to keep it warmer for longer. Amazing!

Sue G.

Yelp
I honestly feel sick to my stomach that I paid $10 for this cinnamon roll. That's a lot of money! And it feels like I threw it away because this cinnamon roll was dry and completely tasteless. They should be ashamed.

J D.

Yelp
Cinnabon is better and cheaper. This is $9. won't go back. Some unique flavors which is nice. I'd give 4 stars if it cost maybe $5 or $6.

Cassie P.

Yelp
incredibly friendly staff! first visit thoughts: i enjoyed this cookie butter cinny more than i thought i would. it was on the breadier side but still had some fluff/softness to it bc it was served warm (cinny rolls are automatically bad if not served warm, sorry i don't make the rules lolol). the biscoff frosting was pleasantly fluffy, almost mousse like, maybe a *tad* too sweet, but the bun itself is well balanced and the filling wasn't too gooey or sickeningly sweet. i like they rotate w fun flavors that make you wanna come back and try more! second visit: tried the dubai roll, wasn't warm (not cold tho) so already was a bit let down and i found this particular flavor to be intensely rich and super sweet roll, ofc i liked the flavor but i think they could dial back on the amount of frosting and filling they put especially when working with super decadent flavors as the dubai w the pistachio & chocolate. lowkey felt sick after a few bites and could not finish it from how intense it was, complete 180 from my first impression of their other cookie butter bun. the ratio of frosting to bun was off and felt like i just ate a tub of frosting rather than a roll, my overall feedback is to strike a good balance on the sweetness and ratios and be more intentional how you choose to incorporate certain flavors not just in the toppings/frosting but perhaps the bun itself. i know it's still a new business and i looking forward to see how they continue to grow and improve moving forward :)
