The entrance to the place is a bit strange and not a clear site. The wife and I did the 2 course for $30 which is a pretty good deal. The salad, soup, and chicken enchiladas were good. The cannelloni however was too sweet to my liking. The soup I got was the chicken tortilla, it was hot with plentiful amount of chicken.

Literally one of the worst experiences I've had at sit down place. We just left a bit ago, went there for my 30th birthday, which i thought would be happier experiences. You can look at my past reviews. Rarely do I give less then 3 stars but this place tonight at least was abysmal. We made sure to make reservations because we came on valentines(also made reservations)and they were packed. Unlike Valentine's day, even though we made reservations this time we were seated promptly once the hostess/waitress showed up. That was the end of any promptness of the meal. The waitress did inform us she was one of the only servers (though I saw another 2 waiters and 1 waitress. But I guess she wanted to set our expectations low...They have maybe a 1/3 of the amount on Valentines day but we spent double the amount of time there. We ordered 2 drinks, the trio chips appetizer, and 2 entrées (considering how much time it took for us to get those, I ordered the dessert to go which was good because there was about 15 mins to closing about the time we finished our entrées) The drinks weren't very good. We ordered a blackberry margaritas and a poloma( my usual) but they were both sour which is weird for those drinks, We weren't asked what to rim it with..... and so they weren't rimmed... My bf told me to stay positive so I didn't complain, hoping it would get better. It in fact did not. From the drinks and appetizer to the meal was maybe 40 mins,( for reference this is 55 mins into us being there... so far) in that time both the table in front and behind us had gotten their meals and we had actually seen the previous patrons from both tables leaving, which was about 15 mins after us ordering drinks. So they seemingly had time to bus tables, clean tables, seat new patrons, and start taking orders from those tables but we have barely gotten our appetizer and drinks. The table to the left of us(not one of the 2 tables) was complaining about, when their food was coming out, while we were on our 2nd bowl of chips (still waiting for our entrée). We ate a bit of our meal but had filled up on water, the drinks and appetizer (I was ravenous, and we were still waiting and waiting and waiting) for the meal, as we didn't get our actual entrées until nearly an hour after being seated(about 55mins). Our reservations were a 6:30 and we a left little before 8 (mostly because we'd already ordered and I had wanted to enjoy my birthday dinner). I have an extreme love for dessert but even I wasn't waiting to eat that so I asked for it to go. They made sure to bring us the boxes and check very quickly though.... (I honestly still consider a tip as part of the service, so in this case I normally would have tipped 15% for the service I received, but as it was a birthday meal my bf paid, but understand it part of people's livelihood,[it shouldn't be and shouldn't be on the partons to give the wait staff on a livable wage, it should be one the owners...but let me get off my soapbox] (12-25% depending on the service ( terrible to extraordinary)). As it was a birthday meal with just me and my bf I definitely dont think it should have took so long. Both the groups who came after us had at least 3 in their parties. We did order drinks and an appetizer, but I think most people do at restaurant and why should you be penilized for spending MORE money at an establishment? I'm overall disappointed considering how great the service was prior. !!!EDIT!!! I contacted them through the email they sent, over 2 weeks ago and they NEVER respoded. I added the email I snent to the pictures as you can see I sent this on 11/05, and there was no response. Which was just add insult to injury.

Chris was the BEST waiter that I've had in a VERY long time. He was EXTREMELY attentive, efficient and overall an amazing server! We visited Bennett's Kitchen, yes at 6:15 pm. It was busy, but both Kevin (brought our water out), and Chris (our actual waiter) treated us like we were the only guests in there... and clearly we weren't! We had a party of 5 people, we ordered One Wine Special (2 starters, 2 entrees and a bottle of wine), one Ribs and Chicken meal, One lasagna, one steak salad and a jalapeño cornbread. For the Wine special we had a butternut squash soup, a tortilla soup, meatloaf entree, Mia's salad entree and a bottle of Harken. We gave it all 2 thumbs up! My butternut squash soup was the best that I've ever had. A little sweet, with a savory swirl on it. My meatloaf was juice, and the flavors were elevated, not your regular, Monday night, covered in tomato sauce meatloaf. It's also a fish or meat market FYI.

The Real Deal is Bennett’s Kitchen Bar Market which impress on multiple levels with a minor setback. The atmosphere is very classy but casual with an outdoor (covered/temp controlled) area and indoor seating. The service was solid very knowledgeable and kind staff only minor setback was they never refilled my water once and I started drinking my lady’s water which never got refilled. Now to the main event the FOOD, the server recommended the BBQ ribs and fried chicken with waffle fries. First off the waffle fries were the best ever 10 out 10! Fresh and perfectly seasoned with homemade ranch! Next the BBQ ribs were a delicious fall off the bone tender and perfectly glazed 9 out 10! On to the fried chicken which I’ve had some the best southern chicken just didn’t measure up at all, plain unsalted which could of top the charts for me if the chicken could of rounded out the meal 5 out 10…The portion was huge which was amazing deal for price! Pawn linguine was 8/10. I will be back there again, way more wins than loses here…I will keep you posted on the next visit…

Prices are higher than in Cupertino. Service is great . Ribs are not actually ribs, it's ok, but could be better.

Went for drinks and apps to catch up with an old friend. The blueberry old timer was really good, not too sweet and packed a punch. The salt and pepper prawns and trio of dips were tasty, brown spicy mustard based sauce with the prawns and the cheese dip in the trio was delicious. Service was professional and fast, good atmosphere not too loud, a bit upscale from a typical bar and grill but not pretentious or stuffy. Will be back to try dinner , I had my eye on the meatloaf and mashed potato dish.

Google
Came here unplanned on a date after the first location bombed and have to say, the service was excellent! Food was really good too. They know how to cook their meat right that's for sure. Nice selection of alcohol as well more than just the basics. Date ordered the 10 year aged scotch and it was very disgusting as expected! (That's a joke). Might come back here one day as it was surprisingly good! I had never heard of it but that goes to show to always be willing to try new places!

Google
Interesting place to eat as it is part deli, part market, part Coffee shop and part restaurant. Was a nice atmosphere minus the leaks all across the roofing and throughout the dining area. Food was good, little light on flavor as it seems this is a healthier take on food for those that are looking for that. I had the country fried steak and potatoes which to me needs to be hearty and saltier but the potatoes were fantastic and helped provide some additional flavor. Looking forward to going back for a sandwich or a burger!

Yelp
This was our second time here. This is located in Roseville. I made reservations for 3 for a Saturday night dinner, I suggest making reservations prior to coming, it can get very busy! The menu had a summer 3 course meal for $35 bucks. I had the simple wedge salad and Sonoran short rib enchiladas. The salad was very tasteful, topped with bacon bites. The short rib was plentiful of meat and flavored deliciously. The dessert I chose was the Chocolate cake, it was not my favorite it lacked the softness and taste. Overall this place is a hit of your looking for good food and drinks. The old fashion was a hit.

Yelp
It's home food with a twist. Large servings. Glutten free option throughout the menu. The food is fresh & flavor full. My husband has there chicken & rib platter said it great.. I have there glutten free meat loaf just like home. There desert are a fun twist on classic and great. Service is a bit slow but everyone is knowledgeable and helpful. Great place for small getting together. It's unique when you walk in, looks just like a deli, but it's much more.

Yelp
I purchased a large "to go" order. I could have door dashed, but decided to pick it up myself. I still gave a $10 tip and no one served me. When I got home, two of the Bahn Mi sandwiches were missing the french fries. So frustrating. They are the best part of the meal and pair so well with the sandwich. I call the restaurant and the lady tells me they don't come with fries and they are doing a temporary thing where they offer fries from 1-4. I picked up at 5. I asked why I was not offered to purchase fries if that's the case? She then tells me to drive all the way back to the restaurant for fries. Who would do that while my food sits and gets cold. I AM ALREADY HOME! Then she says she can offer a credit for an order of fries. We were missing 2 orders? This is not about the money. It's terrible service. The menu clearly states all sandwiches comes with fries. It does not say 1-4 only. I refused her offer. If she wanted to make me happy, she should have delivered 2 orders of fries. What kind of restaurant sells a hot spicy chicken sandwich without fries? I was a long time customer. Will never go back. I hate to feel ripped off.

Yelp
Always enjoyed going to Bennett's service always really good, great atmosphere and ambience. Absolutely love the meatloaf. Liam at the bar is amazing provides really good service, super nice guy always great to talk with.

Yelp
This was the BEST mocktails I have ever had - FRESH orange juice, lime, mint, ginger beer I got the crab omelette and mom got the Mia salad. Both were really good!! They have a brunch and bubbles deal This place was dark on the inside. The tables weren't all very clean. But the service was quick and the food was good.

Yelp
Pulled the ultimate rookie move and went out for lunch on Mother's Day (of course we had reservations, silly). Snagged the gorgeous private room immediately to the left of the front door. It was perfect for us (as the main dining room was very loud and the ability to close the door made communication much easier for our significantly-hearing-impaired group). Alexis was our friendly and seasoned server. She was good about making sure that needs were met and she never made us feel like we were putting her out in any way. This was quite the skill, particularly on a day like today. We were a party of 8 and many dishes were ordered but I feel the dish that was repeated the most was the steak and bacon tacos, they were a hit and one of the cheaper entree menu items too. I had the linguine with wild Mexican prawns and it was good, the linguine texture however was great. Empanada appetizers were scrumptious, if that's your thing. I think the only thing we wouldn't really recommend is the bacon Mac and cheese. It was dried up when it came out, not hot, and pretty bland. We had waited almost an hour to get our food so we didn't even consider asking for a replacement dish. Again, Alexis deserves a raise. Wonderful service.

Yelp
Food was good - many options to choose from. Ambiance was nice, loved the bar! Service was excellent!

Yelp
My friend and I really enjoyed eating at Bennett's Kitchen! | had the salad and loved it, super fresh and a great portion. My friend tried the clam chowder and wasn't the biggest fan, but we both absolutely LOVED the fries. Seriously addicting! Also, thank you Ju for the amazing customer service; so friendly and made our experience even better.

Yelp
Barbara S.and me came for happy hour menu and drinks. Made a full meal of: guacamole & chips, wedge salad, hamburger, salmon sandwich. 3 cocktails, 1 beer. Plenty of food and drink. Happy hour prices are 20% lower than dinner prime time. Food quality is yeoman, not outstanding, though gott'a say that the french fries were extremely enjoyable and I usually do not like french fries. Complaint: Covered outdoor patio is not climate controlled. Was a distressing situation when the west facing screen windows began to have the sun blazing inside. By the time we finished dinner at 6:30pm the dining patio was 105 degrees. It was 111 degrees in the adjacent parking lot. I won't return during the hot summer season because of the heat that made me dizzy, nauseated and disoriented. Come on Bennett's, install windows and air conditioning!

Yelp
Welp. This place was really busy. Service was okay, it's like they had several parties going on at the same time with not enough staff to cover... BUT the food was way better than the service. All those parties must mean the food is ALL THAT! We had burgers, omelets, "smashed potatoes" and biscuits and gravy. We also tried the jalapeño cornbread with their orange flavored honey. The experience was overall great!

Yelp
Enjoyed Bennett's Kitchen yet again and just love the overall atmosphere, service and food. Top notch and definitely 5 star all the way! Short and sweet review...lol

Yelp
Bennett's is our go to for delicious food and great service. The atmosphere is nice. They have an excellent happy hour menu. Their chips and guacamole are a 10. Also love many of their dishes and entrees.

Yelp
Quick trip to Roseville and of course I wanted to try this restaurant because my fiancée Billy raves about it. We easily made reservations through the restaurant website and there was no wait at all. The ambiance is both fancy and relaxed, and we noticed lots of regulars there because it seemed like the servers knew everyone. Or are they just that friendly?! I had done my homework and had read lots of reviews praising the Mia Salad, but I didn't want a full order because I wanted to try other items too. Our server was able to order me a half-order, it was delicious with so many flavors and I still had leftovers. The porterhouse was a masterpiece, I purposely ate it slowly to savor each bite. I'm on your website right now looking at your menu and I can't wait to travel up north again for your "Bubbles & Brunch" and your "Wine & Dine Mondays"!

Sara S.

Yelp
Mind blowing... dry meatloaf and mashed potatoes family meal .. paid $107.00 on door dash to find out they do not provide any type of gravy ?! I called the location and was advised that they serve with a jus... did NOT come with my order ?? Come on !! The meatloaf is bland and dry .. mashed potatoes also dry !! Don't waste your $$ Do yourself a favor and order a frozen Marie Callender's .. or even cheap old Hungry Man !! Bennett's is NOT worth the $$ . On a ok note .. key lime pie is fantastic

Yelp
This place was recommended for us to try from a local. We found the menu to be quite appealing. When we arrived the wait was not long even though we did not have a reservation. Our server was phenomenal. When it was time to leave and pay we had a small hiccup with an employee whom maybe was having a bad day. That began to take over the entire experience in how we felt about the place. Not sure we will go back but mostly due to us not living there.

Yelp
We were a party of ten, and the staff treated us very well. Attentive service until well past closing time. The food was excellent, but I wanted to specifically point out the pork shank osso buco. It is rarely available in other restaurants, but it is an amazing offering here. A fork-tender pork shank osso buco, slow-braised to buttery perfection, with deep, savory richness and a clean, meaty finish. The osso bucco was served on a delicious bed of heirloom grains, spinach, roasted tomatoes, cipollini onions, and gremolata. Totally delightful and in my mind significantly superior to the more common lamb shank version. The salmon was also moist and delicious. The prime rib was expertly cut for wonderful taste and enjoyment. Even the drinks were fun. Definitely a place to go to where everyone can find something delectable, and those with a discerning palate can enjoy the pork osso buco. The location has plenty of parking, and the inside was not overdone. As this Roseville location, more of our dining dollars going to excellent food instead of fancy surroundings. That is always positive for us.

Yelp
My hubby and I are always looking for a great date night spot that offers outdoor dining so we don't have to leave our Goldendoodle puppy Midnight at home. I had my eye on this place for awhile and theirs is completely covered with air conditioning! The staff were very welcoming and brought out a bowl of water for him! To start out with we shared the Jalapeño Cornbread our server recommended. I LOVE the flavor of the jalapeños, very delicious and the honey butter is tasty too, you can tell they make their cornbread in house! 5/5 stars! For the main course I ordered the Prawn Linguine our server recommended. The wild Mexican white prawns are very succulent and flavorful! The beurre blanc is light and I really like the spinach and the blistered tomatoes are the best!! And I don't think you can go wrong with garlic bread, 5/5 stars for this entree! I would HIGHLY recommend the Roseville location and we will definitely be returning for another date night or celebration soon! As soon as you see their menu you'll want to devour the whole menu! SYOY! :-)

Yelp
Came here for a group dinner after work. Place is great for large parties as we had about 12. They were very understanding about separating the food on one bill and drinks on one bill. Our server knows his menu really well. I asked for a recommendation and he said, the meatloaf. I took his recommendation and it hit the spot! If waaay better than Cheesecake Factory. It was super moist and the mash was really good. Very smashed as it was smooth like butta'! Huge parking lot so parking isn't an issue! Server was great as he kept coming back asking how we were, how the food was and etc. definitely a go to if I'm ever in the area for work!!

Yelp
Yummy raspberry martinis, great service and pleasant environment. A lot of good options for my gluten-free friends.

Yelp
Bennett's on Eureka is a favorite! Great meeting space available and the food is always excellent. A bit noisy, but understandable because of the construction style. The staff makes every effort to make sure that you are comfortable. Try the steaks! Bennett's is a butcher shop 'ya know!

Yelp
We came here on a Wednesday with 4 adults and a child. It was relatively busy for 5pm, which was kind of surprising. I had never been there before, but others in our party had. We were the first ones to arrive. At first we thought we were in the wrong spot because the front looks like a market with sodas in coolers with other items for sale. Kinda strange. We were told that we would be sat on the covered patio under a fan (it was 100 degrees this day) and we kindly asked if we could be sat inside and that didn't see to be a problem, so that was really nice. We ordered drinks and the Coke came in a bottle with a glass of ice, which is very strange (it must have come from the little market-looking area in the front). You'd think a place like this with a bar would have fountain sodas, but whatever. I the chicken enchiladas which were delicious. My husband got the French dip and he liked it. Others in the group got the cheeseburger, French dip and the meatloaf. The child got the Mac n cheese. Everyone seemed to enjoy their meal. The enchiladas were really good. The vibes were cool. There were TVs playing a basketball game. Our waitress was a little cooky and seemed to be in somewhat of a rush. We would come back here again.

Yelp
Stopped by on Mother's Day without our mother's who live out of town. Place packed and set at the bar. Great service and awesome food. Thank you

Yelp
We last ate at Bennets maybe two years ago. That time everything was good. Recently, not so much. I had the fish taco which was mostly filler ingredients and a small morsel of fish. The taste was ok, nothing exciting. My wife had the tortilla soup. She said it was mostly broth and little else. The waiter did take the soup off of our bill. We appreciated that. My inlaws go to the Rocklin location fairly often. They were suprised when we told them about our experience. Now, what prompted me to write this review? I was checking in for an appointment when the ladies behind the desk were talking about the awful fish tacos. Jokingly, I asked which restaurant so I could avoid it. Guess, what? They were talking about Bennett's Maybe skip this Bennett's for now, and head over to the Rocklin location. Feels like this location needs to get its act together.

Yelp
First time dining here with my kids. We were staying in the area and decided to give them a go. Great service, food was great too! They were super busy as expected for a Saturday evening, which took awhile for our food. But worth the wait. Will definitely be back.

Yelp
Spot stopped for lunch on the way back to the Bay Area from Tahoe. 3.5 stars Food: 3.5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3.5 Cost to worth it rating: 3 Opentableable: yes Return worthiness: maybe for happy hour Highlights: - Extensive menu even for lunch with salads, sandwiches, and full entrees - Lots of TVs for sports fans - Fries: came in a self standing white paper bag. Bit thicker, yet piping hot and bit crispy on the outside. 4 stars. - Banana cream pie: my hub enjoyed 3.5 stars - Chicken sandwich: worked for my son. 3.5 stars. - French dip: pretty good version. 3.5 stars. - Mia salad: fresh rotisserie chicken with fun additions of avocado, dates, grape tomatoes, corn, and almonds. Gluten free cornbread croutons sounded great, but they were soggy and dry. 3 stars. - Happy hour from 2-6pm every day with a fantastic selection of 10 eats, 12 wines, and 9 cocktails. Midlights - Bit odd seating in the main area being like a covered outdoor spot. Lowlights: - Took a while to get our water and catch the waitress each time we needed something. Was fine for a sit down stop, but not sure as a destination to eat at. If I lived in the area, I'd try it for HH.

Yelp
I've been here many times now for happy hour and it's always superb! My son came home last night and shared that he took his girlfriend out for a romantic dinner (not happy hour) and everything was absolutely perfect! I must update to 5 stars for this excellent restaurant here in my neighborhood!

Tamberlyn T.

Yelp
The atmosphere is wonderful, as is the food. Their soup is the best I've ever had, as well as the several sandwiches I've had at lunch or dinner. Their soup staff is very welcoming & quick at their job & always with a smile. I'd give it 10 stars if I could.

Yelp
Very disappointing. Food came out cold. My homemade Bisquit was over cooked, coffee was barely warm. The help was kind. There was 6 of us and 2 had regular coffee never came by for refills. Clean restaurant and bathrooms. Need to get food out in a timely manner and it should be together and warm. I would not go back. Many good restaurant's in Sac.
google avatar

Michelle C.

Yelp
Loved the food but the service could've been better. The food was stacked with flavor and the chili relleno was very different having had kale and artichokes as the filling with a delightful cream sauce. The server was not very attentive and got some things wrong, otherwise a very good experience. Ambience was light, airy and good vibes all around.

Marta G.

Yelp
I hesitated posting, but after our third terrible service experience, we're done. Bennett's had been our go to spot for years; loved our servers who recognized us and provided great service consistently. Our last three visits have been disasters. Drinks taking 30-40 minutes (soda and chocolate milk even), can't find our server to address issues. Second beverage arriving long after meal finished. Orders incorrect. Having to flag down other servers for help. Going to the counter to get our check and pay. I don't know if they've had a massive turnover of their waitstaff, but I no longer see the long-time servers. Sadly, we won't be back.
google avatar

Bill G.

Yelp
The food was very good. Not a big fan of all of the menu choices. I expected more to choose from, but what I did have was good. Service was okay, we were sat in the bar area and we were shuffled between the bartender and other service staff. Not my favorite style, but it worked. I think because we were sat in the bar area it was very loud. It was hard to have a conversation, or maybe as my wife continues to tell me that I am losing my hearing. I think if I was there for more of a social evening with drinking, the bar would be great, but not for a dinner with conversation.
google avatar

Michele T.

Yelp
Casual ambiance made for relaxing dining experience. Menu had a variety to select from. The halibut was well prepared as it was moist and flaked easily. Having the home made cream corn with each bite made this dish was very much like comfort food. The shrimp tacos were very tasty. Also tried was the lavender lemonade which was refreshingly cool and something we'd order again for sure. Service was pleasant, efficient and personable. Plenty of free parking and located in a Plaza with other eating options for the future to try (Mexican, sushi, wings and a boba spot!).

Aaron J.

Yelp
Checked this place out today for the first time after many many reviews on Facebook. Christian was our server at the bar top. We were very pleased with everything. All of the food we ordered was good. We ordered a few desserts, and Christian suggested an espresso martini which I hesitantly took, but absolutely loved with the chocolate cake. Their chocolate cake is probably the best I have ever had. I loved the atmosphere with all of the regulars, the friendly staff, and even saw somebody from a restaurant I used to frequent. We were very happy here. I highly recommend it.

Yelp
service 4/5 food 3.5/5 service: our server was hilarious and friendly. we came an hour before closing and the table next to us had workers drinking and hanging out (assuming off the clock) but they were cursing quite a bit. we noticed because they had the same shirt as our server. food: i love that they have a prime rib dinner special on the weekend. everything came out quickly. the chicken tortilla soup it came with was delicious (probably my favorite next to the cake we got). we also ordered garlic bread on the side. our prime rib was ok and the potatoes were not so good, very flavorless. for dessert, we had the pineapple upside cake, warm and perfectly sweet. side note: they gave chopsticks for the beet salad for whatever reason. we weren't sure if it was because they assumed we're asian or if it was because it had ponzu sauce in it making the salad "asian?" regardless, eating a salad with chopsticks is unusual. i would like to come back and try the brunch menu.

Yelp
I had higher hopes for a good experience here, but alas not so. I was in a party of 6 adults and 3 children on a Saturday morning for brunch. It was pretty busy and noisy. We sat at the far edge of the covered patio where one table was level while the other had a marked slant. Server was friendly, but service was not good. We arrived a bit after the rest of our of party got beverages, but were never asked about our drink order. We had to ask to get any water for the table mid-meal. We weren't checked on enough to have our needs met in a timely manner (condiments, any water refills, an extra fork). It was a LONG wait for the payment to get picked up. Food ranged from good to mediocre/underwhelming. Eggs Benedict was good, but have definitely had better. Country fried steak had tasty gravy, but steak was chewy. The Two Eggs Your Way plate was meh--only one egg was poached nicely, the biscuit was super dry and crumbly (& had to ask for the butter), sausage was nothing special. Poached eggs from another dish were totally over-cooked. Smashed potatoes were fairly bland. Kids French toast was pretty good with a nice texture in the cinnamon swirl bread, but only 1 sliced strawberry. Fries were tasty. Granted, some in the party eat here more regularly & felt this was an off experience. But for me, this was a miss in too many ways. And for the price point, I expected more.

Yelp
My daughter and I love to come for the Monday night special. We always get the steak dinner and enjoy cocktails. I splurged this time by ordering the chocolate cake. It was fabulous! My husband no longer goes out so I brought the meal home to him. He couldn't stop raving about the dessert. He's lucky I gave him some. I was so anxious to take it home that I left it on the table. Luckily our server raced out and caught us. I do move slowly in my old age which is an advantage as I hadn't even cooled the car down. We come in on Sundays also because of their champagne breakfast. We've never been disappointed and have always had great service. I even met the owner once and was very pleased with his friendly hospitality. I will continue to be a loyal customer!

Yelp
The service was exceptional. Our waiter was friendly and professional with a great sense of humor. I loved sitting on the screened in porch. Even if it's a view of the parking lot it's still a very pleasant experience The chicken salad was perfect. They use rotisserie chicken which made it so much better. The dates and goat cheese made it even better.

Yelp
Happy Hour at Bennett's Came here for Happy Hour with a friend on a February Wednesday. We were led to their spacious covered patio area. Feels like outside except we were shaded with mounted electric space heaters on the ceiling as well as heat lamps. The table we were seated, which was set by the window opposite the parking lot, was uneven. When our drinks were served it tilted the drinks causing them to spill and make a mess. We moved to the table next to us. Trevor was our server. Trevor was great, friendly and attentive... he checked on us at the right times and w/ positive energy. From the happy hour menu we ordered the Hoisin Glazed Ribs, Garlic & Parmesan Fries, and the Grilled Salmon Sandwich to share. I really liked the ribs, the garlic fries and the salmon sandwich... wait! that's everything we ordered. LoL! Yes, the glazed ribs were juicy, tasty and fall-off-the-bone good. Loved the garlic fries... crispy on the outside, tender and fluffy on the inside, and topped with the perfect combination of savory garlic and tangy Parmesan. The salmon sammie was served on grilled sourdough, I didn't care much for the cucumbers and dill in it. The sandwich came with regular fries. We also ordered cocktails. I had the Lemon Drop w/ light alcohol while Belinda ordered an Espresso Martini. Review #2872

Yelp
We recently had my future daughter in laws brunch bridal shower at Bennett's in a private room. The food was awesome, as always. We had a running photo show of the bride and groom throughout their lives in the background! They only gave us one server, so he was a bit overextended. Overall an amazing bridal brunch!

Yelp
Disappointed is only half the feeling... Food has gotten progressively worse, and the service has followed. Tonight I got to send my steak back (it smelled like ) and the server's response was, "because we didn't clean the grille." Not sure how I was supposed to take that, but I got to wait an extra 20 mins for food AND pay full price for my efforts. Oh, and to get to leave you play a game called hide and go find the server who took off to have her own meal instead of getting us the check (did I mention the whole shit-steak for full price already?). We won't be back, recommend you take a pass and head to Paul Martin's; aka the better dinner option.

Yelp
Thanks Yelp! for helping us find this New American restaurant in Roseville. This place is casual with a market, bar, and inside / outside seating. The serving staff were very knowledgeable and attentive. The appetizers were very tasty. The calamari was cooked differently than we were used to and were kinda like fish sticks. The guacamole was very fresh and my 8 year old really liked it. Everyone enjoyed their entrees. My prime rib was perfectly cooked medium rare and the outside ribbon had a great seasoned flavor. The desserts were wonderful, tasted homemade, and were a wonderful way to end the meal. Overall this is a solid place to take the family for dinner. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Well it started out fairly rickety when they seated us in a covered outside area with screens, when it was 100 degrees,, but we asked is there a cooler area and the accommodations went quickly to very nice and comfortable table! Very cool! ! My brother and sister was where celebrating their 41st anniversary we started with some salt and pepper prawns where fairly nicely done, crunchy and succulent. I had the salmon with quinoa and spinach which was tasty but wouldn't order it again, a one and done deal, if you like salmon you'll not be disappointed.. my wife and sister had the French dip and loved it! ESPECIALLY the fries nice and crunchy, my brother had the prawns and linguini and he raved about it! He said the butter sauce was amazing! We topped it off with the jalapeño corn bread again tasty just as the other posts mentioned... the biggest question I always ask myself would I go back ... yes.

Yelp
GREAT brunch spot in Roseville. We visit this place at least once every month. The AVOCADO TOAST is our go to with a side of SMASHED POTATOES and bottle service for mimosas. You get to choose 2 juices if you order a bottle and it's so worth it. If you love crispy potatoes, you HAVE TO order the potatoes as a side. Trust me! It comes in a small cast iron pan and it really takes the potatoes to a whole nother level. We still haven't tried anything other than the brunch menu but everything that we've tried has hit the spot. Currently they have a special (not sure if it's only for brunch), 2 entrees for $39 and it comes with a bottle of champagne for mimosas. Totally worth it! It's on the back bottom of the menu and sometimes they give you the advertisement/insert but just ask them. The staff is always friendly and attentive. Wait is definitely reasonable but expect a little wait if you show up on a weekend after 10am especially if you have more than 4 people in your party. PARKING: easy peasy! There's a good size parking lot so you won't have any problems finding a spot.

Yelp
The food, service and ambiance are all top notch. A great restaurant no matter your mood...

Yelp
The salt on everything was sooo over the top, I couldn't finish the meal. It was like the food at baseline was too salty and then more salt was poured on top.....not only unnecessary but unhealthy and inedible. Very disappointing. We 3 all wanted the chef to know that we want way less salt, and we want this restaurant to succeed. The variety of menu items is great, the mushroom burger is a great idea, and would have had great flavor if not over salted. Ceasar dressing not edible. Hoisin ribs were good. Baked Brie was good.

Yelp
Came here for a business function/dinner and was met with an excellent experience overall - the food was delicious, the service was prompt and friendly, and the overall ambiance made it easy to have good conversations in a low-pressure environment. Parking is easy in the nearby adjacent lot. Prices are a little on the higher side, but the food quality is excellent and may be worth the splurge. The steaks were well seasoned and appropriately cooked. A few folks ordered the porterhouse for 2, and I wish I had done that as well - it comes on the bone and looked absolutely amazing. Sides to share were excellent and well-seasoned (although may be a little bit on the heavier side). Servers were fast and courteous. Even though we were a larger group, they were spot on and managed our table w/ ease and professionalism. Would definitely recommend this location and will be returning for future business functions.
