Great sandwiches here. Always made fresh and to order. Small spot with great service. Nothing special about the atmosphere, but there are places to sit and eat.

Google
Very cute neighborhood spot walking distance from the zoo. The cashier at the front counter was so sweet but not super knowledgeable about their offerings. I got a bacon egg and cheese…next time I will just go to Waffle House. The bacon was the microwaveable kind I believe and the eggs came from a container. For $12 I expected all the ingredients to be fresh. I will not be back for anything more than a snack or drink on my morning walks

Google
I hate to be like this but man.... they were slow when I arrived. Friendly as well. Ordered BLT, another guy comes in and orders something. I get mine in a timely manner. Go to my car to eat it. It's the other guys sandwich, he's long gone so they remake it. Kind of annoying but we are human, they even offered a sweet treat as an apology. All of this is fine and would not even remotely bring me to review them... just give me a good sandwich and I'm on my way... Here's the sandwich. I swear I didn't alter it. There's no bacon! Or a tiny sliver. The other side I ate but it also had an abysmal amount of bacon... This was a $10 sandwich!

Google
First time going.. and it was perfect! No line, no rush, the cashier was friendly and knowledgeable of what to order! I got the turkey club and kettle chips. The sandwich was well put together and made with love! And they are mini shopping mart! Love it! Definitely will be back!

Google
The prices are not clearly marked. They charged us for 2 smart waters which were four oz larger than our drinks. The menus prices were sharpeed on but still did not match the prices on the receipt. The prior time I was here my friend received her sandwich without any meat when it was a deli sandwich. My friend got her sandwich replaced and finished before I even received my food. Apparently the batch was bad so they had to remake the food. The owner apologized profusely but also bashed the new hires which was a bit uncomfortable to hear.

Google
Cute spot! Loved the vibe but the service was not too experienced and not so knowledgeable. The sweet cashier actually didn’t recall one of their offerings nor knew what lox was. And the food was so so when it came out. Bread not toasted, a thin offering of chicken salad, and no fresh ingredients like lettuce and tomato. I was cheering for them and unfortunately the food was not worth another visit. :(

Google
I've always wanted to love this place but typically leave disappointed. The service today was horrible. Spent the entire lunch with my family working with the cashier on 2 incorrect charges she chargd us for. Took over 10 mintues and 2 employees to figure out why we were overcharged and how to reverse it. The least you would hope for is "I'm so sorry you missed out on your lunch over this!" But literally nothing. Mistakes are fine but the customer service needs help. The food is, eh. The bread is not toasted which leads to it crumbling apart in your hands.

Google
So awesome to have this place in our neighborhood. My teen loves the classic Reuben. I like the pimento cheese and bacon sandwich and the veggie sandwich. They have great wine, beer and ciders to choose from. King of Pops on hand to grab. Stop in and grab a bagel to go.

Yelp
American Veggie w/ an Xtra pickle I come here almost everyday for the exact same thing, I love the Manager Avis, She's really the best when it comes to customer service & Care! Thank you so much!!!

Yelp
Great sandwich very nice people and the air conditioning works really good. You can't go wrong grabbing a sandwich here!

Yelp
The inside looks amazing and the staff and service was great... However, my sandwich hardly had any meat on it. I was disappointed because for what I paid, I at least expected to get a standard 1/4lb of meat. The lunch was a fail for me, but willing to try again for breakfast.

Yelp
If you're looking for a nice bagel in the south, fair warning; the situation ain't that great. Most southern bagels produce considerable and existential despair. Always on the lookout though. I'm a transplant to the south Boulevard area, just past the gentrification line. The foodie stuff usually isn't accessible to me without a ten minute drive to some other neighborhood. So I passed Bennett's the other day, newly moved to the corner of Cherokee and Atlanta. Never been inside, and didn't have my kids to rush around. I noticed bagels on the menu; owner Claire said they were from Davidovich, a genuine NY vendor. I immediately ordered an everything toasted with the works. OMG what a hit of savory that was. Bagel was heavily seasoned, nice and chewy. Cream cheese was not excessive, lox melted in the mouth, onions and capers gave that special hit of vinegar. Took me back to the Jewish delis of my childhood. These guys really deserve your support, everyone. They seem to really care about the quality of their ingredients, even while the business has taken a pandemic hit. Will absolutely order again, maybe the Italian next time.

Yelp
My son lives nearby so we stopped in for a snack. We had the turkey club. Outstanding. Great little spot.

Yelp
Based off of assumptions, the location on Boulevard seemed much bigger than their newest location at the corner of Cherokee and Atlanta. There is street parking everywhere in the surrounding streets. There were a few tables inside, but we did sit outside as it was a beautiful day. We stopped here for a quick bite to eat and shared a turkey club sandwich and a bag of chips. They were busy when we came at 1 pm on a Saturday. There was a 10 minute wait for our food. A turkey club and a bag of chips did cost $16 (a bit pricey in my opinion but inflation is real). It was a decent sandwich with big pieces of bacon and the bread was nice and fresh. This is certainly a must-go if you're in the neighborhood and craving hearty sandwiches. I've heard great things about their breakfast so will try that next!

Yelp
Great place to eat after a morning at the zoo. Food was made to order, fast and delicious!

Yelp
Here for a work lunch. Coolest feature was the blue El Camino parked out front! Parking - free on a neighboring street. Interior - clean, a few lowly tables inside and out, rustic chic. There's beer, wine and a restroom in the back. We were the only dine in guests. Lots of to-go customers. Service 3/5 Cashier was masked and efficient. Menu said a Reuben was $10. Didn't include chips or a drink but what can you do? Prices 1/5 I ordered a Reuben and chips and was rang up for $14.70. "What happened to $10?" Apparently, that was an "old" menu. How old?! "Maybe, last week." Sigh... $15 and I didn't leave full! Food 3/5 Honestly, it was a decent sandwich. A small, typical Reuben with kraut, thousand island & cheese. That and a paltry bag of chips do not a meal make! 1/4 lb of meat sure sounds heftier than it actually is. My rich coworkers enjoyed their tuna salad, turkey & Swiss and Inko white teas. The horseradish cheddar chips were a miss. In sum, I'd recommend Bennetts for hipsters with deep pockets and tiny appetites, who have never been to Detroit deli! For $11.50, it better be a heck of a sandwich, or at least come with chips!

Yelp
Ordered a blox bagel for $13 today, I was pretty excited because they said the bagels came from New York and I love NY bagels. The bagel was tough and stale and clearly days old. Don't brag about your bagels then serve them stale.

Yelp
This place is amazing! First time visit yesterday. The owners were so nice, the staff were so welcoming and the food was delicious. From sandwiches, to single serve beers and an amazing selection of fresh baked breads. 10 out of 10 highly recommend!

Forrest G.

Yelp
Got the turkey club - unbelievably good. Great beer, wine, and soda selection. The staff is supper friendly. Great outdoor seating in the lovely neighborhood. 10/10 recommend!

Yelp
Just noticed this cute Deli right off the park. Great Ruben sandwich and very nice staff! Areas to dine inside and outside, small shop but lots to choose from.

Yelp
Great service and delicious sandwiches! The was our first stop on our Atlanta trip before heading to the zoo and it did not disappoint

Yelp
Great local spot for breakfast or lunch. Picked up sandwiches for the family and loved every one. I had the Reuben and hubby had the gigantic Turkey club. Both delicious. My daughter had the chicken salad and grandchildren had tasty, delectably crunchy grilled cheese sandwiches. The sandwiches were huge and filling. Nice selection of wines and craft beers. Prices are so competitive. Service was prompt and friendly. We will be back often.

Margaret S.

Yelp
This neighborhood spot is great! Simple classic sandwiches in a homey storefront. Service is always pleasant! I always get the turkey club and recently started grabbing a bag of the rosemary and pepper chips. So good!

Yelp
I was craving a rueben for 2 weeks. I couldn't find a great place open or where the wait wasn't crazy. My GF said to try Bennett's.. her hubby was there the day before and was pleased. I was excited!! So I came in masked up!! I was welcomed in from the far back. It took me a min to figure out the flow. I ordered my sandwich and was offered to wait up front or outside. As I stood up front I got the shock of my life!! . Open the first week that my furry companion was alive. As I walked away to go tell the associate working that she had a little friend out front I glanced back and rrealized that it had not moved. I later realized it was dead. I contemplated hard about taking my sandwich . This was kinda bad. I took 2 days to write this. My sandwich was made to order & yummy... my service was sweet. I'm choosing to believe this was a fluke. But hard to forget.

Yelp
I've had their sandwiches a few times when my office ordered lunch and they were always decent. I was craving a BLT and went here one weeknight after a rain storm. Parking was a bitch, as most street parking around ATL can be when where you're going doesn't have a private lot. I parked in the neighborhood across the street and walked over. When I walked in, I was immediately greeted by a nice employee who was working by herself. I was the only person in the store and it was HOT and HUMID inside. If I wanted to sit at a table and eat I couldn't, way too hot. Anyway, I browsed the menu and ordered a BLT hold the Mayo. She rung me up and went over to make my sandwich. It was decent, but when you get toasted bread it should actually look toasted...it was barely toasted so that wasn't great. Also, due to the pandemic they no longer include chips with their sandwiches and have raised prices a bit. I get it, they're trying to survive, but I've had better for cheaper. I would go here again, sure, but it's not in my top 10. I'm giving it 3 stars because the employee was super nice and the process was painless. Overall, it's average to me.

Yelp
I'm not sure what I was expecting with this place. I had read so many reviews and on the spur of the moment, decided to come. While most of my reviews are super detailed- this one will not be. I got an Atlanta Pastrami Sandwich with cheese (provolone) and spicy brown mustard- all on wheat bread. It came pressed with a pickle spear. First bite- uhhhhh..... what was I expecting? I wasn't blown away, it wasn't "life changing", it was just "Meh". Now it could be my combination of ingredients, but still.... I simply wasn't "Wow". I highly recommend trying this place so that you can decide if it works for you but for me..... Meh

Yelp
Bennett's is one of my favorite sandwich shops-but it's also a mini convenience store that has wine, local beer and selection of Chips/snacks. My go-to at the Grant Park Bennett's is the turkey club with their tomato basil soup. The bread is sometimes a little hard but the sandwich as a whole is tasty. For breakfast, I recommend trying their all day breakfast biscuit with single egg, cheddar and bacon but don't order it past the afternoon. Biscuits, if available, at this point are hard. Note this place is expensive but Bennett's sources, if not all ingredients, from local establishments so worth the extra few dollars. Highly recommend this place.

Yelp
Cute like market tucked away in Grant Park. Some wines, grocery staples, and sandwiches. I opted for the veggie grilled cheese. It was very tasty and quite cheesy, but there wasn't a huge wow factor flavor wise. But hey it's still a grilled cheese so it's still delicious. Covid precautious: They are offering takeout only, had a supply of essential groceries there, both for pickup orders. The only employee there was wearing a mask. I ordered online and my food was ready on time. There was a spaced out line and plenty of room to wait for pickup.

Yelp
I'm definitely a fan and now that I live within walking distance (I walk to Grant Park a lot), I'll probably stop in at Bennett's a few times. - Excellent Reuben, one of the best. I had the smaller version with less meat and it was plenty for lunch. - Chicken salad sandwich is also tasty but messy. The chicken and other ingredients have a tough time staying put between the bread slices. Minor issue - it's a good sandwich. Quaint, country-style store but with better goods. Lots of drink choices, an eclectic variety of craft beer and interesting wines. A variety of gourmet dry goods and other goodies. Super friendly folks. Parking is limited out front but there's plenty of street parking nearby, particularly on the Grant Park side of Boulevard.

Yelp
Great experience! I ordered a work lunch from here and Claire (the owner) was so helpful and communicative. I had the tuna melt and it was delicious! Recommend checking it out.
google avatar

Yelp
No lids on dressing for Caprese salad (on a head of lettuce?) balsamic spilled all over. there was enough lettuce to make three salads. The Ruben is tiny, with hardly any meat to the edges. Triple decker turkey club was the only saving grace. OH and did I mention the service? Felt shamed from the moment the phone rang for the fifth time. The sarcastic voice that greeted me and took my order was oddly off-putting. The attitude I experienced inside this establishment was on heard of and unwarranted. Very curt, very emotionless, very direct. The bang is not worth the buck. Overpriced Immensely considering small unflavorful menu items and terrible customer service. No napkins, no cutlery. The first place I'm eating at upon transitioning from L.A. back to ATL. Drove across the country, Gotta say I'm disappointed. This deli takes it for granted. P.S. Don't ask about the wine selection because they don't know.
google avatar

Yelp
This is a fun little deli that our family goes to whenever in the area. Seating space is limited.

Asante B.

Yelp
Decent Place. A little overpriced but I believe that's due to sourcing from local vendors. Very friendly staff. I had the chicken salad which was not my favorite but Im sure that it'll catch the taste of others. My boyfriend had the bacon, sausage, egg and cheese biscuit which was delicious but also 10 bucks lol. They have produce, wines and more available. Def a great place for a meeting, catch up on work or even chat with a friend.

Sean C.

Yelp
Very friendly owner and safe. Great little neighborhood shop. Delicious sandwiches. Small but nice selection
google avatar

Yelp
Service was friendly but very slow. Sandwiches were cool. Me and my friends had 3 different ones. Not the best deli experience but still nice.

M D.

Yelp
VEGETARIANS: DON'T BOTHER. Sad limited options here if you don't eat meat or want to cut down on meat consumption. When I asked the woman behind the counter about possible veggie sandwiches, she recommended tuna fish. wtf?

David T.

Yelp
Simply fabulous. We got a lox and bagel tray for Christmas breakfast. Beautifully, artfully presented, and delicious to boot. Great food, great service. Thank you Claire!

Rob B.

Yelp
An amazing sandwich shop/deli. Everything was fresh and tasted great. Generous portions and a relaxing atmosphere. Definitely check it out!!
google avatar

Erin T.

Yelp
I judge a deli by the quality of their turkey club sandwich. The one here at this neighborhood joint is absolutely delicious! Fresh turkey meat, quality sourdough bread, and thick bacon. They also had no issues when I asked them to swap out the Swiss cheese for cheddar. The staff was really friendly too and you could tell they enjoy their job. I'm happy I have a quality deli option 5 minutes away.
google avatar

Yelp
Got the chicken salad sandwich. Wow. What a wimpy portion. Seriously. Doesn't compare to Whole Foods heck or even Publix. Chicken salad is yummy but y'all gotta step up on portion.
google avatar

Faye S.

Yelp
Great place with my favorite ny Reuben. Super yummy, team is great easy to park in grant park
google avatar

Troy P.

Yelp
Hard to find an actual deli around O4W/Grant Park, or a lunch spot where you can get a sandwich and a soda for under $20. This fit the bill. Atmosphere ain't fancy, but Cokes ain't $3.99 either! (Listening Krog St & PCM?). $1 bag of chips! Rueben was nicely done, lean and buttered and grilled. Definitely be back.
google avatar

Garo F.

Yelp
First off, I am sitting here waiting twenty minutes after Uber told me to come get my order. It wouldn't be as big of an issue if they had apologized rather than get nippy with me and another customer waiting next the prep table. The lady said wait up front not right here. That is disrespectful and she never once told anyone else to do the same and this makes feel like I and the other customer were targets of her frustration. Needless to say unless if I get an apology after the owners receive this, I won't be a customer ever again. Grant park market is much better service and the owner is always there and treats his customers better. Thanks for nothing
google avatar

Caitlin S.

Yelp
paid about $9 for a lox bagel with a disgraceful lack of cream cheese on it. it was basically a dry bagel with onions and lox on it. when i tried to call them, their phone line just disconnected me.

Ford N.

Yelp
Cute store, local offerings, but the good news stops there. Their menu is small, even smaller when the option you want is 86ed. Sign says their sandwiches include chips, yet I was still up-charged for them. No prices on the menu, ended up paying $20 for rabbit food. Would not recommend.
google avatar

Ashley T.

Yelp
This is solely based upon my take-out experience.... It's freezing out so I definitely need some soup in my life. I've become really attached to tomato basil soup and Bennett's definitely warmed my spirit with their version. Ordering was easy and the kind person taking the order had no issues with taking multiple orders, which always makes things easier. The soup was piping hot once my co-worker brought it back to the office which is about 10 mins away and just looking at the container, I knew I was in for some really good soup. It was really filling and I like the small chunks of cheese and tomatoes but it didn't come with crackers, croutons, or a croissant (I guess sometimes I just like those litte extra things thrown in with the order). The soup was $3.75 which was pretty reasonable and I must say it was worth it!
google avatar

Max E.

Yelp
Rueben: 8/10. You might have to ask for no cheese or dressing, which is sort par the course for ATL. Otherwise great sandwiches.
google avatar

Heather M.

Yelp
Ordering online is easy and very fast. My chicken salad was good, and I really enjoyed the macaroni salad. I liked that you had so many options to customize your order.
google avatar

Leah K.

Yelp
Really cool place with great breakfast bagel sandwich and friendly staff. Also they have crazy good brand kettle popcorn!

Keanna F.

Yelp
Great wine selection Good sandwiches made to order :) Loves the vibe of the shop Plenty to look at offering a convenient market vide
google avatar

Yelp
The cutest little market in Grant park! The staff was so kind and helpful. They prepared my sandwich pretty quick and it was wonderful. I definitely will be returning!
google avatar

Lauren B.

Yelp
You can easily order and pay through their website and the food is prepared SUPER quickly! For only $10, I got a Reuben, deli pickle, and bag of chips. The Reuben was hot with a perfect amount of kraut and melty Swiss cheese. You can also buy local brews, cheeses, and produce at the store. So glad we have this place in the neighborhood.
google avatar

Kristen V.

Yelp
First time at Bennett's today and I can't believe it took so long! We tried the tuna melt and turkey club! Both came with pickles and Zapp's chips. Easy pick up/to go system, an important quality with the current state of things! Friendly service topped off the experience. I look forward to returning & recommending Bennett's in the future!
google avatar

Cindy H.

Yelp
The first time I had a sandwich here I really enjoyed it, even though there are very few choices of veggies to top the sandwiches. The bread is good and they give you plenty of meat. This time I ordered roasted turkey breast sandwich with Swiss cheese, lettuce, pickles & onions. They were out of lettuce. Really? Can't you just send someone to Kroger? No apology and no offer to give me avocado at no charge. They loaded the sandwich with pickles, I guess to make up for not having lettuce. It didn't. There were no napkins out anywhere. We had to ask for them. Not a good sandwich. Not a good experience. I definitely will not come here again.
google avatar

Yelp
This might be my new favorite spot in the city! Hidden away in Grant Park, Bennett's is an old delicatessen and boutique grocery store. They have soup, salads and sandwiches. Additionally, the have a pretty good selection of wine, beer, pre-made sandwiches and sides, as well as snacks. My favorite part however, is the prices. Everything is really affordable! While they can't technically "serve" alcohol - you're invited to enjoy your purchase inside the restaurant or at one of the outside tables. I can't tell you how nice it is to split a $15 bottle of rosé with a friend in the springtime! My only complaint is they use folding chairs for seating. I know it's not a luxury place, but I's love to see them invest in some decent chairs or cozy seating. Although, perhaps it's a good thing the seating isn't too comfortable - if it was, I might not ever leave!
google avatar

Sallay J.

Yelp
Bennets has some of the best sandwiches I've ever eaten! I can attest for the chicken salad and the tuna salad and the turkey club! I really like this deli because they provides some unique items that you can't get at the local grocery store. I also love that they provide local meats that were produced in Georgia! local in my opinion is always better! I defiantly recommend coming here for a quick bite however just know it is a bit pricy and service isn't always the greatest. But overall good spot and great food!

Yelp
Cute little place within walking distance from our home and the farmers market. It's cozy, quiet and a good place to get a good simple sandwhich/breakfast. For some reason, our order always gets messed up somehow but I don't think it's their fault, I think their order receipts make it confusing since my boyfriend likes to take off stuff, and I like to add stuff to mine. The employees are always friendly and more than willing to fix anything. I love the club sandwhich with deli mustard, or the breakfast bagel! I love to see people eating here because it's a cute little place!!!
