Bennu

We are very grateful for the experience we had at Bennu. After originally told a table wasn’t available we stepped out of the restaurant only to have a kind server come back and say they would find a way to accommodate us. The pizza was extra flavorful with a bit of confit garlic adding something special to the sauce. We plan to return before we leave SMA.

5/5 one of the best pizzas I have ever had. We did not have a reservation, luckily they were able to fit us in ! Very nice atmosphere, cocktails fantastic , Bestia pizza WOW and corn delicious. Forgot to take more pictures. If you are in San Miguel definitely Bennu is a place to eat at.

Bennu offers excellent pizza made with pristine, fresh ingredients that truly shine. Each element is handled with restraint and intention, allowing the quality to speak for itself. The décor is minimal and rustic—carefully curated, tasteful, and genuinely comfortable. A place that feels thoughtful rather than performative, where simplicity is the point.

Amazing food, felt like I was back in Italy off an ally eating some of the best pizza. Not sure what they Putin the sauce for the cauliflower, but oh my goodness it was good. Limited seating so make sure to make a reservation.

Bennu does simple superbly! The menu is small but quality over quantity in this place. We had the pizza of the day with goats cheese and anchovies, and the Bestia, both were delicious. The atmosphere is super relaxed and comfortable. Highly recommend Bennu!

Best pizza I’ve ever had in my life. The dough was phenomenal. The place is small but it makes it feel cozy and enshrines its hidden gem status. They have a special “pizza of the day” so they have something special whenever you go. The service was also great and fast. Wherever you sit you wont be far from the oven so your pizza arrives beautifully warm to your table.

Bennu is a hidden gem in San Miguel de Allende, offering an amazing dining experience. I've had pizza in Italy, but I never imagined I would find such an authentic taste in Mexico. The dough is light and crispy, the sauce is perfectly balanced, and the toppings are fresh and delicious. It's evident that the chefs take great pride in their craft and put a lot of effort into every dish they create. The service is equally impressive. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive without being intrusive. They are happy to recommend dishes and offer wine pairing suggestions, which enhances the overall experience. In conclusion, I would highly recommend Bennu's restaurant to anyone visiting San Miguel de Allende. Whether you're a local or a tourist, you won't be disappointed with the fantastic food, great service, and charming ambiance. I'm already planning my next visit, just to have another taste of their amazing pizza.

This place is Spectacular! The photos posted truly reflect what the pizza looks like. We started with the roasted cauliflower followed by the pizza marinara. Both were Outstanding. There were no menus to view, so I have attached some that I hope can be viewed. Five Star *****

Excellent pizza and vegetable sides. Sometimes you eat pizza in places that aren't known for pizza and you're disappointed. That didn't happen here. Everybody loved the two pizzas we ordered and the incredible vegetable side dishes. One notable dish in particular were the beets, which were finished in the pizza oven. They were heavenly! Service is friendly, and a few musicians come in and perform. They ask for tips after their performances, but it was well worth it and added to the ambience.

I've lived here for 10 years. Neapolitan pizza is incredible. Definitely one of my favorites. ;)

We had Carlos and Jessica come over to bake pizzas for us for dinner. We had an awesome Caesar salad with all the essential ingredients including anchovies and homemade crostinis from pizza crust. The pizzas were wood fired with crust perfectly done and impeccable sauce. Highly recommend them

Terrible, I got there 30 minutes before closing time and the workers were very rude, they didn't like that I wanted to order 2 pizzas to-go, they treated me awful and were absolutely disrespectful, So with all that terrible moment I decided to leave the restaurant, the workers at the restaurant are extremely disrespectful if you want to get mistreated go to this restaurant.

Got this pizza delivered to my Airbnb and let me tell you they did don't disappoint. Pizza was hot fresh Delicious, probably one the best pizza I've tasted in awhile.

Really good Pizza for San Miguel a solid 9! Almost felt like I was in a good NY pizzeria! So far the best I've had. Bennu is also really good by I like crispy Neapolitan and it's here!

Cutest little pizza joint hidden from the hustle bustle of the center. I came in on a night craving a small bite and decided on a small pizza which was the perfect size for me. The decor is super adorable and low key and the staff is minimal but get the job done. My pizza was fresh and delicious and no issues with any part of it. Stop by when you need some non Mexican.

Great pizza, nice an sweet friendly service. Definitely a great pizza place. Off the beaten path an it's kinda hidden which we love finding places an people exactly like this. We had mikes special pizza it was delicious an also the salmonas one. Both small sizes an shared a Caesar with chopped fried anchovies inside. The decor is very peaceful an quaint. even the bees are friendly.

This location for Neopolitan Pizza recently opened in Centro (the other location is in Col. Guadalupe). The same great pizza and salad are available in the new place, in addition to now offering pasta dishes. The pizza is brick oven and is delicious. We usually also order the Festin salad which is a lettuce, tomato (and other vegetable salad with the addition of seasonal fruit and a light balsamic dressing. The small salad is plenty for two if you are also getting pizza or pasta. To get to the restaurant you need to go through a small shop on the street that sells crafts. There is courtyard seating as well as a nice terrace, an inside counter, and a bar. Highly recommended!

Great pizza. Actually best in SMA. Seriously. Guadalupe is the only location I know of, and you are treated with respect. Can't get any higher level than that. CUTEST STAFF. It's right next to Gills grocery. Across and down, from Kenny's Bar (Check it out too!) Love the shops over there...

Second time here. The pizza is wonderful. Both nights we had the Festin salad - a green salad with seasonal ingredients. Tonight we had the Veggie pizza especial. Last time we'r had a meat combo. Highly recommend this place.
