Yelp
Benny's on the Beach Pier, a local institution that I had the pleasure of revisiting after an eight-year hiatus. This unassuming eatery is offering an array of all-American fare for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, but its crown jewel lies not in its menu, but in the wonderful views of the beach and the ocean that stretch out before it.
My order, consisting of the swordfish dish, arrived promptly, and while I was eager to dig in, I could not shake the feeling that the presentation was a touch lacking. For a dish that commanded a steep price, I had expected a more elaborate presentation, but what I got was a simple, if satisfying, serving of grilled swordfish, accompanied by a side of vegetables and rice,
If there was one area where Benny's on the Beach Pier truly excelled, it was in its service. Our server was attentive and friendly, checking in regularly to ensure that everything was to our liking and refilling our drinks.
In conclusion, while my visit to Benny's on the Beach Pier was a pleasant one, I could not help but feel that the restaurant's prices, particularly for the swordfish dish, were a touch on the steep side, given the straightforward presentation.
Nonetheless, the views, combined with the friendly service, make this a must-visit destination for anyone looking to enjoy a quintessential beachside dining experience. But if I were to return, it would be for lunch only,
