The Best Queer Bars and Nightclubs in Las Vegas | Eater Vegas

"Bent is the only hotel in Las Vegas specifically designed with queer travelers in mind. Housed in a 1960s-era building, it blends retro charm with modern updates—most notably a newly built pool and bar. This queer-owned property features rooms with pulp fiction–style illustrated art. The vibe is social and lively, with poolside patio parties and a regular lineup of events throughout the week. In the lounge, visitors can enjoy light bites of flatbreads and nachos, alongside colorful, fruity cocktails." - Janna Karel

This Gay-owned Adults-only Boutique Hotel in Downtown Las Vegas Is a Safe Haven for Queer Travelers — Here's What It's Like to Stay

"An intimate, gay-owned 33-room boutique hotel that functions primarily as a social hub for downtown Las Vegas, blending mid-century Palm Springs style with industrial accents. Guests are welcomed at a circular bar that doubles as reception with a complimentary welcome cocktail; a 24-hour bar, heated pool and oversized hot tub anchor a busy events calendar—pool parties, beer busts, karaoke, comedy and trivia—that has cultivated a tight-knit regular crowd. Rooms are cozy rather than luxurious, with options from poolside patio rooms (private patios) and balcony rooms to an atrium king and a bunkhouse with twin beds; in-room amenities are basic (no refrigerator) but include a large TV and Bluetooth speaker, and many of the best rooms overlook the pool. The food-and-drink program is pub-forward—fat burgers, tacos, flatbreads and inventive brunch items like a ham-and-cheese quiche croissant, carne asada toast and chicken-and-waffle sliders with blackberry-bourbon jam—paired with frequent drink deals (two-for-one wells, Sunday bottomless mimosas/Bloody Marys). Conceived by Palm Springs hoteliers who relocated to Las Vegas after a lengthy COVID-delayed renovation, the property positions itself as an inclusive, “straight-friendly” safe haven focused on people, atmosphere and easy access to the nearby downtown nightlife and Arts District." - Ryan Slattery Ryan Slattery Ryan Slattery has visited over 70 countries and has written about his experiences both in the air and on the ground. Las Vegas’s Queer Bar Scene Is Bigger Than Ever | Eater Vegas

"Opened in November near Fremont Street by former Escape Resort Palm Springs owners Mark Hunter and Greg Kafka, Bent Inn & Pub is Las Vegas’s only hotel specifically targeted to queer clientele with 33 rooms, a new pool and bar, pulp-fiction-style illustrated room art, pool patio parties, and brunch programming described as Superfrico-like but with fewer costumes, more Champagne guns, and an atmosphere that flows into the pool scene." - Janna Karel

Friendly staff who genuinely make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. The towels in the rooms were super soft and luxurious. Karaoke was an absolute blast and the drag show was one of the best I’ve seen in years. These queens did not come to play, the costumes, makeup and performances were top tier. The food was delicious and everything we ordered hit the spot. And the drinks… mixed with love and poured nice and heavy, the way we like it. The bartenders were sweet, personable and happy to help us pick the perfect drink. The pool area was spotless with a spacious hot tub that was perfect for relaxing. There are a few things that could use some improvement. Blinds would really help. The current window shade works, but it can feel uncomfortable during the daytime when you want privacy without being on display. A small rug on either side of the bed would be great so you’re not climbing into bed with dusty feet from the concrete floor. I get why hotels avoid carpet, but something other than using a bathroom towel to wipe your feet would be helpful. It would also help the mood and overall vibe if they added some ambient lighting in the rooms, like under-bed or mirror lighting. There was also a slight knocking noise from upstairs every hour or so that lasted a couple minutes. It woke me up the first night. I didn’t bring it up to the front desk because it slipped my mind, so apparently it wasn’t that bad, but I’m sure they would’ve switched my room if I asked. I wore ear plugs for the rest of the trip and slept fine. If you’re here to have a “fun” time then I highly recommend it. I’d love to revisit during an event weekend when there are even more visitors, but I’m glad I got to experience it at a slower pace to feel its true charm. I really want this place to succeed, because it does have a special charm and the people working here are truly top notch. Even with a few things that could use attention, I’m still giving it five stars because I can’t think of a reason to rate it any lower. And this review is coming from someone who worked years in the five star cruise line industry. Gays, we scream for places made for us and then sometimes don’t do our part to keep them alive. Skip the same old Strip and stay here instead. The Strip is just a short ride away anyway. This place deserves to be fully booked every weekend because it’s truly that great. I wish I had an excuse to come back, because I definitely would.

What’s not to love about this place, I didn’t want to leave! Had the pleasure of chatting with Timmy who was super cool! Enjoyed talking to him!! Great music. Great drinks. Great vibes. Their staff are extremely nice (Dalton was another cool one for sure 🎃). The place was beautiful, especially the pool. Felt like I lived an Inn version of Melrose Place with a nice pool like that. Ha. I was a little shy about taking my shirt off in the pool because I’m an insecure weirdo but it was honestly welcoming and I should’ve . I’ll be hitting the gym and back sometime next year for sure. :) seriously, it’s so worth going!! Looking forward to coming back!!

Worst hotel experience of my life. Hotel located in sketchy part of town. Met someone on the strip who told me they were robed out side the bar walking to their car. The area has a lot of homeless and drug addicts. On my second night there I was Locked out of the hotel because front doors are shut with zero access with your room key. I was On Lyft at 3am in a shady part of town I begged Him to please wait to make sure I could get into the hotel cuz lobby looked closed. A sign on the door said there was a back door. I asked The Lyft drivers to please drive me to the back but there was no access from the street we were on and from where we were there was no door visible. I tried Calling the hotel but nobody answered. So for My safety and not wanting to gamble being stuck in a dangerous part of town I asked the lyft to take me to an other hotel to see if I could get a room. I was livid that I had to spend more money and I kept Trying to get in contact with them once I got Into an other room. No one would answer. I called Repeatedly tile someone picked up at 10am. Will not be going back needless to say. Add to this that I had To check in after 9pm due to a 3 hour flight delay, when the lobby turns to a bar and you have to check in the middle of a crowd. It was overwhelming! Then to get to the rooms you have to go to the back and through all the bar goers with all your belonging. Just over all a horrible experience The room was great with a lot of attention to detail and very clean. The decore was so chic and Modern. That’s the only positive thing about the whole thing.

Absolutely the best! We were looking for a hotel away from the Strip that still guaranteed fun and was close to Downtown Vegas, which to us is the best part of the city. We found The Bent Inn and couldn’t be happier. It’s super new, everything works perfectly, and the design is modern and stylish. The king bed is incredibly comfortable with top-quality bedding… honestly one of the best hotel beds we’ve slept in. The vibe and decor are everything a gay traveler could ask for: colorful, fun, and full of personality. If you’re part of the LGBTQ+ community, support this hotel. They’ve created a space where we feel truly welcome.

Had all the basics I needed. I stayed in room 102, which is directly in front of the stairs but a straight shot from the bar area. The wallpaper and art was entertaining throughout the property. James was the bartender who took care of me during my stay. The bar was always a great stop before turning in for the night. I stopped in during the Bingo night and then the Classic Karaoke. So happy to find this gem off the strip

From the moment we arrived at Bent Inn, we felt truly welcomed like family. The team went above and beyond in every way—making our stay not only comfortable but also deeply personalized to both Jhonson and me. The extra touches, thoughtful details, and genuine care made us feel seen, accepted, and celebrated.||The events were such a highlight—fun, vibrant, and full of positive energy that created an uplifting community vibe. It never felt like just a hotel stay; it felt like being part of something special. Every interaction with the staff reflected warmth, inclusivity, and a level of customer service that far exceeded our expectations.||We left feeling uplifted, cared for, and already planning when we can come back. Bent Inn doesn’t just provide a place to stay—they create an experience that stays with you. Absolutely a five-star gem, and we can’t recommend it enough!

From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed by friendly staff and a cool, relaxed vibe that made us feel instantly at ease. We stayed for three days, and the rooms were stylish, well-designed, and the king bed was incredibly comfortable. The pool area and bar were also excellent. The place feels modern and fresh. Kurtis was an absolute star—nothing was too much trouble, and he was always there to help. He brought so much fun to our stay, alongside the ever-lovely Enzo. Staying here was a fantastic surprise, and we’re so glad we booked. The location is perfect—right next to Fremont, but away from the Strip, so it was quiet and relaxing. We felt completely immersed in the Bent Inn experience. If you get the chance, book a few nights here. The service, style, and atmosphere are second to none. We can’t wait to come back. A huge thank you for making our stay outstanding!

It was a great experience staying with a gay-owned hotel that truly caters to our community while also being welcoming of everyone. It was nice to see that Bent attracts a mix of visitors and locals.||Front desk staff were all super friendly and greeted us every time they saw us, even if we were just briefly passing through.||The pool and hot tub being available all hours was a treat. Drink and food prices from the bar were very reasonable. The bar staff were attentive and warm. As a visitor to Vegas, it certainly made me reluctant to ever stay at a larger hotel ever again, with their inflated prices and impersonal service.||We enjoyed being able to walk over to get breakfast and coffee at PublicUs which is just a block away, which was super convenient.||In a time when so many companies have revealed that they are only LGBT allies when it's politically convenient, I was so happy I could give my business to a business that wears its colors proudly.||Wishing this place much success and will definitely be back.

Yelp
A perfect queer-friendly escape in the heart of Vegas! Bent Inn is an absolute gem! From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and celebrated. This isn't just another hotel--it's a beautifully curated experience tailored for the LGBTQ+ community and allies. The vibes are modern, fun, and unapologetically bold, with thoughtful design touches throughout. Everything feels new, clean, and fresh, from the rooms to the pool area. You can tell the owners put heart into every detail. The staff? Incredible. Warm, inclusive, and always ready to offer recommendations or just a friendly hello. There's a genuine sense of community here, not just hospitality. I also loved how culturally rich and well-planned the events were--whether you're into poolside drag brunches or low-key mixers, there's something for everyone. The parking is open and safe, which was a huge plus, and you're just a short walk or ride away from adorable local shops, eats, and sights that are way more fun than the touristy Strip. Whether you're visiting Vegas solo, with your partner, or a group of friends, Bent Inn is where you want to be. Already booked my return back

Yelp
This place is fun! Great cozy atmosphere that feels like the entire place is VIP, but everyone is invited. They have different events (Karoake, trivia, different DJ's, drag shows, etc etc. follow them on IG or maybe their site has more info). Weekends here are fun. It's always a toss up to go here or one of the other pool parties. What's different is that I've become a fan of a couple of the bartenders and staff. That's what brings me back. How nice they are. Dalton!!! You rock! You're my favorite.... Shhhhh don't tell everyone. Love Kurtis, followed him and his insanely fit body on IG, he's nice and super efficient with cocktail making. The queens who cook, brava!!!!! They are amazing and so nice!!! Sooooooo niiiiiiiice. The food is also pretty good here. There's also pool access for those not staying at Bent Inn's boutique motel. It might seem pricy at a whopping $25 p/person. But you get $15 credit you can use for food and/or drink, so it's technically only $10 to use the pool. You do get towel service so they're losing out on some money doing all that laundry. Water is expensive in Vegas. Maybe they should do what Luxor does and do an eventbrite between 12-1pm to get in for free for locals only and at a discount for people traveling. Or a monthly membership would be cool for locals. They're competing with Luxor Sunday and now Sahara's gay pool event I think Saturday. They have a nice size pool, umbrellas and lounge chairs and cabanas you can rent (4 total I think) which can be completely private. I have seen it get pretty packed but usually there are spots to sit. And of course a hot tub. This is not clothing optional venue. However it feels very Palm Springs, which I love. A fun mix of people of all ages. One critique about the bar. Cocktails aren't always made the same. Bartenders will do them differently. Consistency is so important. Other than that, it's a great place to hang with friends. So take a group of friends and enjoy. I've seen people have bday parties here as well. So it seems that they reserve spots for large parties, I'm guessing. GO Check it out.

Yelp
Cool gay/queer bar/restaurant with lots of TVs and friendly bartenders. Just close enough to Fremont St to walk but far enough away to not have to deal with the noise. There is a nice patio and pool. Ordered a chicken salad. Wasn't anything to write home about. Wish there were more non-alcoholic options but this is Vegas.

Yelp
Incredible experience. Went in at 3:00, was planning to leave around 6:00, ended up staying until 9:00. Pool-side service, food was yummy, drinks were affordable, made some friends in the pool. Music was on point, staff was very knowledgeable and were eager to serve. Highly recommend.

Yelp
First time at the Bent to enjoy a few drink and a quick dinner. The bar area is welcoming and comfortable. The bartenders are attentive and makes great drinks. I look forward to returning and enjoying the pool.

Yelp
Bent Inn is a fabulous experience. It's a super cute LGBTQ boutique motel in Downtown Las Vegas, NV. The rooms are super cute decorated with mid century modern pop art. The staff is super friendly. The lobby is a bar with the same cute esthetic. Christian at the bar is an amazing bartender. Absolutely loved hanging out with him in the middle of the night after a long day in Vegas. Can't knock the 21+ queer safe space with a 24/7 bar, pool, and hot tub. Ask Christan for an espresso martini, his are amazing, he will brew you a fresh pot of coffee. Perfect for a second wind, they will rejuvenate you and keep the party going. As a larger gay bear, my only critique would be I wish the night stands were a little bigger to accommodate my CPAP machine. If that's my only complaint you better believe it's a good night stay, and not staying here would be a missed opportunity for a truly unique and wonderful experience. My partner says "this place is really cool with a top notch esthetic and great attention to detail!"

Yelp
Visited the bar here shortly after they started doing business. I really like the space inside the pub, not your typical square or rectangular, boring layout. The interior design also felt modern without being pretentious at all, a really inviting space. At the time they hadn't started with their food service yet so I definitely have go back for a drink and some grub the next time I'm there in June. Our bartender did show us a sneak peak of the menu and judging by some of the food pics posted here it looks good. I can see this as being my first choice to go to when the subject of bar hopping comes up.

Yelp
Went to check it out after it being closed. Right away i felt I wanted leave. They had some lounge singer, the music was way too loud and just felt dated and old. There was 4 bartenders but it took a hot minute before any of them would address me, & make a cocktail for me. If you glance at their Facebook post you'd think it buy one get one free until 7. Wrong, only well drinks. Not only do I have issues with the overprice cocktails, but they can't even make it correctly. Not once but twice. I ordered a raspberry mojito, but the bartender forgot to put the powdered stuff in. I think it like a sugar. I would ask my friend how it was, and he's like it's not nor strong, and hardly any mint flavor. I finally just gave up and just switch to water. While my friend just dealt with whatever he got. Now the food. This was the main reason why we went. Last time, whoever the food truck vendor was, had some phenomenal food. Especially their burgers. My co-workers and I were excited to have those again. When we got our burgers, you could tell right away they were like the frozen, soy patties. It just wasn't the quality that it used to be. I'm just very disappointed over it. Wont likely be going back

Yelp
Definitely recommend staying here! It's 15 mins walk to Fremont street, locally gay owned, nice spacious affordable clean rooms, pool and tub, free parking, $20 bottomless mimosas on weekends. Some things I would recommend are.. coffee makers in the room, more garbage cans (not just in bathroom), and towel bar above the toilet. #bentinn #lasvegas #supportlocal #lgbtq

Yelp
Met up with an old friend for a quick Vegas getaway, and the Bent Inn proved to be a great base. The people are uniformly friendly and professional, the vibe is warm and relaxed, and while the rooms may not be ultra luxurious, they're comfortable where it counts. The mattress, linens, and towels were are all excellent quality, and it was nice to have a pair of pool towels waiting on arrival. A few things that I had't seen mentioned in other reviews stood out for me: - The pub/lobby is open 24 hours, and at least a couple of our nights there it was as busy at 6:00 a.m. as it was at 9:00 p.m. Vegas really is a 24-hour city! - Coffee is available 24/7 in the pub. I'm an early riser, and whoever was on night shift was happy to rustle up a fresh carafe as necessary. - The food is surprisingly good--highly recommend the Shroomy Burger--and a great value. - The pool is also open 24/7, which in the summer is a big plus--lovely to hop in at 6:00 a.m. or at the end of a long day at midnight. Even with daytime temps heading toward 110º, the water was the perfect temperature, cool and refreshing. - The soundproofing appears to be very good; the hotel wasn't packed during our stay, but the room was quiet all night, and I heard no noise from the pool or pub. The Bent Inn made for a fun change from the big Strip hotels. I liked the sleek, contemporary design, with the pulp-novel covers everywhere a neat touch. It was great to pop out the back gate and be right at the car, rather than traipsing a half-mile through a casino and garage. The place was spotlessly clean everywhere. And, of course, it was festive and homey to be in such a total LGBTQ+ environment. The TV was large and crystal-clear, with a wide variety of program options (although some gay-hotel regulars might be surprised that there are no adult options...). If I could make any changes at all, it might be to have better bedside reading lamps (the existing ones are a decor touch rather than functional) and maybe add more hooks/storage options. There's a smallish dresser and minimal closet space, but even a few hooks would make keeping the room organized for a stay of more than one or two nights. Breakfast is offered some days after 8:00 a.m.; if that doesn't work for you, there's a terrific coffee house, PublicUS, a block away that opens at 7:00 and has splendid breakfasts.

Yelp
We found this super cute LGBTQ owned and operated boutique hotel right down the strew from the freemont experience. Check in was at the bar that sits in the entry way, it was quick and friendly. There is a pool with fun blow ups in it and plenty of space to lounge. The room was spacious and well appointed. Staff was super friendly. Are stay was pleasant and quiet. Will definitely stay again. Pro- Close to arts district and freemont Free drink/or water bottle at the bar with stay Small private parking lot in the back with room access Cons- Needs a towel rack near sink No mini fridge No rug/ area rug the floor is bare and cold

Yelp
I can't say enough how great of a stay I had here. I came to Vegas for a comedy festival and this place was the perfect fit for me. Small, clean, sleek design in the rooms, entertaining decor, easy check in and check out process, pool and bar are 24 hours, ample spots for the smokers in the world, friendly staff, quick and amazing service all around. The food was delicious! Don't skip out on the buffalo cauliflower appetizer and fries. I had them about three nights in a row, they were that delicious! One million percent recommend and will return. Thank you for making me feel very safe and for being so welcoming! Best Vegas trip for sure. Heads up that there are no fridge and microwave in the rooms (there is an ice bucket available) but it didn't bother me at all since I was out at the festival all day and didn't bring home leftovers. Fremont street has eateries that are affordable and portioned to not need to go boxes.

Yelp
Bent Inn OWES US NOTHING! Excellent Food, Service and Atmosphere! If you're looking for a hidden gem in las Vegas, THIS IS THE PLACE! The staff is warm and welcoming and the budget conscious menu items and drinks make it a spot you'll want to come back to again and again!

Yelp
I stayed at the Bent Inn in January for work. It was an amazing place to stay. LGBTQ+ owned and caters to the community but welcomes allies. It was nice seeing 2 regulars at the bar from a neighboring apartment complex regularly (several nights for cocktails). It is THE Place if you are tired of the huge mega-resorts that only seem to support the LGBTQ+ community during pride season, or when they host an occasional event. The rooms are comfortable. Nothing classy, but a great atmosphere, with many rooms overlooking the pool area. The beds are comfortable, shower was nice - good temperature and good water pressure. The pool was open, however it was January, not pool season in Las Vegas/ The staff, including the owners, are extremely friendly. They never seem to have a bad mood day. And they are friendly talking to patrons in the pub or who stay on site, on a personal level, ranging from sports, the queer community in Las Vegas, etc. Location is in a decent/good area of Downtown. Quiet area, being a few blocks from Fremont St, the N side of the Las Vegas strip, and other tourist area's in the area. There are also several LGBTQ+ bars and establishments that are an easy/short walk.

Yelp
Very chill and fun bar/hotel in downtown. The staff and owner are very nice. The events and shows such as Trivia are a lot of fun. The pool and jacuzzi are relaxing. The food in the bar is decent as well. Highly recommend!

Yelp
When I learned that a new bar opened up across the street from me, I had to go check it out. The second I walked in I knew I was at home. The bartenders were so open and welcomed as soon as I walked in and explained to me, there new set up because they were a new bar. Happy hour is absolutely amazing and the patrons that visit this place are the coolest even though I live across the street I had to try up the hotel rooms which were very affordable and very well-maintained. They do have a pool and Jacuzzi but they were not open up yet because they are still new but they should be ready before New Year's. I think it is a great place to watch the games because Sunday happy hour is from 11 AM to 11 PM. Buy one get one free. They did not have the food ready when I got there but they will have it up very shortly give this place a chance and I promise you will love it, they take the time to get to know you and make sure you get the drinks you want. The hotel rooms are amazing. The water pressure is perfect. Try this place and you won't be disappointed.

Yelp
The staff are super friendly and accommodating. My girlfriend and I are staying here. The rooms are amazing everything is new and updated. It's the middle of winter so we'll be hitting up the hot tub later but I can see how in summer the pool will be popping. Happy hour specials are BOBO cocktails which was great for us. The Beefy Boy Sliders are yummy and beefy.

Yelp
Good food wether you are there for brunch or in the evenings for one of their weekly events such as Karaoke or trivia night. There's always something on special. The staff is extremely friendly and you feel like you're with family when you are there. Plenty of free parking.

Yelp
I love Bent, I'm so glad they are in the neighborhood! My friends and I are always here. They have really good drink specials and food. It's close to my house and the staff is some of the best I've encountered. My favorite is taking a dip in the pool after I've had a few. The entire ambiance is the best :)

Yelp
The Inn Is great. Campy, sophisticated & fun. 24/7 bar. Nice ambiance. We did a 2 day stay cation that we won on FB. Join their page! DEFINITELY ally friendly. So close to downtown & Fremont St. We walked it & all over the area. I even have an orthopedic boot on right now and it was easy. Safe area and near Container Park. The GM, Will, is one of the friendliest people you'll ever meet. The WHOLE staff, really. The beds are amazing. Rooms are spacious. They also have a room w/ a common area & individual sinks, where you can rent a private locked sleeping area w/ your own TV/AC/nightstand/phone/window. Thanks BENT INN & PUB

Yelp
I was there a few weeks ago for a friends birthday. It was so much fun a nice place to be your self the staff was super friendly. The food was pub food but still good. I like how each room had different are on the walls and in the pub. The drinks are at good price. If I didn't live in Miami I would definitely would go more often cuz that flight is horrible. Thank you for showing me a good time!

Yelp
It was unexpectedly fantastic! We got in and one of the owners met us and even upgraded our room. The staff is fantastic the people that go there are amazing! The food was so dang good. I loved trivia night it was a lot of fun watching all the silly names! The 24 hr pool and hot tub was amazing! Thank you all again! We plan on staying there again!

Yelp
Hi, This was a nice relaxing place to stay. The room was nice and the pool was great. They also have a nice bar with great food and I thought the people who worked there were great too. It's within walking distance to freemont.

Yelp
The Inn is slightly better then a Motel 6. The dressers and nightstands are child sized furniture....adult clothes do not fit. The "closet" is a small cut out in the wall with 2 small shelves and a single bar mounted off to the side which makes it difficult to hang your clothes up. Housekeeping folded up our dirty towels and put them on the towel rack instead of giving us new ones. It took 1 1/2 days to get toilet paper....we used napkins from the bar. Coffee is supposed to be included in the reort fee, bur sadly, they were iut of coffee fir 2 days. It is clear management does not do a daily walk around the property or checks to see if tasks are getting done correctly. Whats with the trashy, torn storage tent right as you walk into the pool area?? Overall the look of the hotel and its grounds is nothing more than a beige box. It lacks greenery and color. We were pleasantly surprised by the food coming out of the food truck...it was really good!!! A special shout out to bartender Liz. She saved our trip. She is super fun, kind and accommodating. Bent needs to make her the Manager. Her follow through was amazing.

Yelp
AVOID THIS PIT OF DESPAIR. This *motel* is worth maybe $80/night but they're charging double to triple that BEFORE A RESORT FEE while pretending to be a Pub (pubs have food, BENT does not) and Bar (technically they have a bar space but the bartenders are so slow and clueless), and Resort (Motel 6s have pools and don't call themselves a "resort"), inside a shockingly depressing dilapidated low income studio apartment building that's over 60 years old. *These are not new hotel rooms they're a slap of paint and a slap in the face to guests.* The Good 1. Accommodated a night's early arrival (We had a 2 night reservation but arrived a day early to extend our trip. So night one was in one type of room and night 2 was in a "balcony" room. We left before night 3 because it was so bad) 2. Room code entry = easy to accept visitors who don't have a key 3. Located next to Downtown 4. Hot Tub and Pool 5. Handicapped accessible pool and hot tub entry/exit chair lift The Bad 1. Rooms are prison barracks style sad. Half the rooms only have windows that look into the shared outdoor hallway, meaning you are 100% on display or the shade is drawn and you feel stuck in a concrete prison cell 2. Pool not heated as advertised at booking 3. Food truck not operational as advertised at booking 4. Slow, extremely awkward bar service 5. Nowhere to hang towels in room 6. No easy spot to plug in a phone unless it's charging on the floor 7. Bathroom door is a sliding barn door, giving the room a view of the toilet, with all sounds heard...zero privacy at all. 8. The bar is NOT AT ALL an LGTBQ+ safe space (the straight Latina woman on Thursday screaming the N word who literally fell to the ground drunk while her boyfriend walked to patrons saying he didn't push her down should NOT have been allowed to order more drinks. The vibe here is "anyone who comes in no matter what" and not "this is a gay space") 9. Lighting is beyond horrendous, prison-like. Literally one bulb in the room as lighting plus an Ikea paper hanging lamp 10. Furniture seems rescued from closed properties 11. No shelf of any kind to place anything in the shower 12. Outlets don't provide consistent power 13. Water pressure is very weak 14. THEY CHARGE A RESORT FEE 15. ROOMS ARE ANCIENT; they are 61-year old low income efficiency studios, and they did nothing to spruce it up. You can feel the depression of the space's past seeping out of the crusty old concrete block walls. 16. "Juliet Balconies" are unfinished (the casings aren't complete) sliding-doors-as-windows with zero ability to step outside. 17. The rooms with sliding doors as windows have NO bathroom vent (the others do, likely only because it's required by law). 18. While in the bathroom, a room service man knocked on the door, *opened it*, *fully entered the room*, and asked "Do you need service?" before we had to tell him to leave *from the toilet*. Horrendous. 19. Our room was non-smoking but the sliding door had two cigarette butts in it when we first checked in, meaning place isn't cleaned properly between visitors. Literally go anywhere else. Sleep in your car if you must. This is dead-on-arrival. UPDATE: This experience was so bad I kept wondering how and why, and I found the answer: the owners' last property was a NUDE resort in Palm Springs. THEY NEED TO DITCH THE LIQUOR LICENSE IMMEDIATELY AND MAKE THIS A NUDE RESORT if they have any chance at existing past this season's PRIDE. Palm Springs has more gay visitors than you can shake a stick at, so providing a blank soulless canvas of a hotel can still work: the gays filling it up and walking around naked make the place vibrant. But Las Vegas is known for being a few-gay-businesses-survive city, so providing a blank soulless canvas of a hotel means it's actually just a dive bar with not enough gay people and wretched rooms. (Heck, being naked would make the rooms make more sense...there's a *reason* the windows look out at a shared hallway and offer no privacy, the horrendous lack of lighting becomes flattering super dark lighting for nude people:, and the prison-cell vibes could then be titillating instead of depressing) BENT being nude would give them a differentiator, when instead they chose to be a 1/10 bar. Wrong choice dudes. My gosh, making this naked inside with robes provided to go grab and bring back drinks/snacks from a food truck with a liquor license across the street would be excellent and vibrant. But without guests filling the space and making their own vibe this place is an empty, sad space with nothing to entice you to stay.
