This is some of the best pizza I’ve ever had and it’s not just bc of the hike beforehand. The person who got the cheesesteak loved that, too. Great gf and regular crusts. Everything, even the fries, taste so fresh.

My family had dinner here during a visit to town and the pizza was very good! I was very pleased that they offered a Gluten Free option for pizza crust (10") and it was actually a really good one (sometimes GF pizza crusts are dry or burnt). Overall, our waitress was very friendly and the service was fast, but the store itself wasn't a particularly charming spot. Would definitely still recommend for an easy meal if you're in the Cedarville area.

Google
Awesome place, I order from here all the time. They have a 2 dollar delivery fee, witch is really worth it. Their wings are awesome, so is their BLT. Their pizza is what you would expect out of a pizza, and the staff are actually really nice. Order their BLT, you won't want any other every again if they didn't make it.

A great local place in yellow springs. The service was quick. Limited seating in the restaurant. There are no restrooms. Got the chicken ranch and the Greek both were really good. The spaghetti was also very good a bit on the sweeter end. The cheese was really good. One of the best marinara. The garlic bread was crispy and flavorful. I would highly recommend this place.

Everything about this sweet place is amazing. Angie is an absolute dream! Best service best pizza just come here for a pie!

Google
We stopped here on our bike ride and had a great experience. It was right off the bike path which was so convenient! The food was great, we had the grilled chicken salad, deluxe pizza, deluxe canzone, and the Mediterranean pizza. Everyone was very happy with their menu choice! The service was fast and friendly. We would definitely go back!

I was a little hesitant on this place, but was I completely wrong. The food was amazing. Ordered a 12" BYO pizza with 1/2lb of wings. Pizza crust was delicious and crunchy, just the right amount of sauce to ingredients. The wings were crisp and hot! Service was just as good. I had plenty of questions before ordering and the server didn't miss a beat. The ambiance was good too. Great weekday dinner spot!

Edit: I've been back 3 times now with no further issues. I didn't think you could mess up a calzone. But here we are. All the cheese was on one side, and the toppings were on the other. Someone needs retrained.

Yelp
The place is one of those quintessential holes in the wall, but you know those are some of the very best foodie places. Bentino's is no exception. The place is just your average decor, but it's hopping crazy with take out orders and in and outs, which is all great clues for the food! We stopped because we all wanted pizza or something close. Jackson got pizza and Shidela and I did calzones. We also started with cheese breadsticks. OBTW the breadsticks are yooge, and meal all by themselves! We ordered and grabbed sodas from the fridge and waited for our stuff to come out. Along our wait, we sat back and enjoyed the wonderful smells coming from the kitchen ... and the near constant take-out they were doing! We underestimated our capacity of all the great food and tho we took stuff home, the food was just outstanding. You know how when you take a bite you can taste the freshness and the love and care that went into it all?, well that's what we tasted here! This is clearing some of what brings people back! Yes, we'll be back too! Just lovely and the service was superb too. I recommend stopping by when you can. It's right downtown and be careful or you'll miss it. That'll be on you of course, because the place is totally awesome. Don't judge this book by its cover! You'll be sorry if you do! Trust me. We'll be back for sure.

Yelp
Very good pizza and garlic knots! They even delivered to John Bryan State Park which was a huge plus!

Yelp
We were in yellow Springs and thought we would try this place and we are excited that we did. This pizza is very good. We got the Greek and it was very tasty and the vegetarian they allowed us to do half-and-half. And we used their great coupon for a medium pizza for 5.99. The location is pretty tight parking in the front and you walk in the side door. If you are parked elsewhere, you can walk to the place and eat. We ate inside and it was very nice and clean with standard seats and tables. This place is handicap friendly. Very nice service too and attentive. We would definitely come back. This is the type of pizza you eat when you want comfort.

Yelp
Pretentious owners that cut off their nose to spite their face. Pizza is great-- dining in is another story. Get it delivered or to go.

Yelp
Went on a day trip today to the charming town of Yellow Springs. Love the city btw. We walked in Bentinto"s and the young lwoman at the register never smiled or greeted us. She just looked at us and told us there were menus on the counter and on the tables...soooo, we sat down on seating that the coverings (fake leather) were split and very worn out. We decided what we wanted to order and waited ten minutes. The person at the register just kept flipping her red ponytail, checking her phone and watching a weird show on tv. She looked in our directio once, never asked if we were ready to order, if we wanted something to drink or tell us that we had to order at the. counter if they don't take orders at the table. We're not psychics. We should have known from the outside of the building that this place is a dump. Peeling paint, and Just a nasty looking building and parking lot. Gross place.

Yelp
Great pizza. We had the thin crust and it was delicious. We had one of their specialty pizzas. When we return to Springfield we will stop again.

Yelp
I don't think I've had a bad pizza at Bentino's. Love the chicken ranch. Love the Greek pizza. Especially like the coupons--check out the one for a free calzone if you spend a certain amount. The calzones really are delish. The marinara is yummy. Go big or go home and add extra cheese.

Amy E.

Yelp
Great service. The food was pipping hot which is a good thing. Cheese ravioli was excellent and do yourself a favor and get extra garlic bread.

Yelp
Bentino's has my favorite pizza in the area, better than any of those chains in my opinion. They do delivery and the drivers are always amazing. They are supposedly expanding into the vacant space next door to it, so I'm guessing there will be more space to sit down. I have never had a bad experience with an employee and I've been going here for years. It is a place where you have to go to the counter and order and they don't bring you your drinks, but that seems kind of obvious to me since there's so little space and the drink fountain is placed in the seating area where customers access it.

Hannah R.

Yelp
The pizza was good. We ate there when we arrived to Yellow Springs on June 10. My only issue was with the attitude of the girl taking orders. She wasn't bad With us, but some patron came in to pick up his pizza and after he left, she was bad mouthing him loud enough for customers to hear.

Xiao M.

Yelp
Food was insanely good, workers seemed really chill and got my food out quickly. Only complaint is I wish they would open up earlier.

Yelp
Bentino's has excellent customer service! We have placed a very large carry out order for a team dinner two years in a row and the food has been exceptional and service top notch. Highly recommend!

Bob S.

Yelp
I've been coming here for years and they never disappoint. Craft goes into everything they do. Subs, wings, pizza is amazing. I love the traditional old world flavors. They are always friendly and smile even when they are super busy. Space is a bit small but it's nice for the atmosphere.

Yelp
My far the best pizza we have had in the Springfield area. We were awkward ordering because we couldn't decide on what we wanted. My wife got the calzone and I got the 8" personal pizza in lieu of 2 slices (great upsale on their part). No frills, great ingredients and quick service. What else can you ask for??? Both calzone and pizza were cooked to PERFECTION and served piping hot.

Nancy R.

Yelp
Stopped in to order a pizza last Friday and was greeted by two very upbeat and fun employees! You weee the first place in YellowSprings we went to. The pizza was really good! Even the next day!! The paper plate art work is so much fun to look at while waiting! This is a must stop if your in Yellow Springs !! It's right by the trails too!

Yelp
Very disappointed today when we wanted to order carryout from this place. Carried in dog & extremely RUDE customer service, does not allow service animals at their establishment even though I have proper identification they don't care to see it. Will be reporting, please don't support a business that doesn't care about people with disabilities.!

Yelp
A pizza place with a wide ranging menu of pastas, appetizers, sandwiches, wings and oh yeah...pizza! We ordered the garlic knots (surprisingly hard to find in Ohio), a 1/2 pound of mild wings and a large cheese pizza. The garlic knots and dipping marinara sauce were excellent. The knots were sprinkled with parmesan, and soft/warm on the inside. The mild wings had a nice heat to them but were not overpoweringly spicy....so the perfect mild wing! The pizza itself was a circle pie cut into traditional triangles. The sauce was slightly sweet and the cheese itself was crispy in spots but not overly cooked. It made for an enjoyable, simple pizza that you could order any night and be satisfied with. I recommend Bentino's to anyone wanting to find a pizza place that has a wide ranging menu that won't hurt your wallet.

Yelp
We got delivery which was on time and appreciated, the delivery guy was nice too. The pizza was to be expected, greasy and average size. We also got a gluten free pizza, as usual it was on the smaller side, was more like a gf pizza cracker but honestly I was just happy to be eating something. I am not celiacs but do have a genetic gluten intolerance, I didn't have a reaction but that doesn't mean someone else won't.

Yelp
I just have to say that I still love this place. It's greasy AF and totally delicious. If you want healthy pizza that tastes like homemade, go to Spinozza' in beavercreek (super yum but off the YS island). For those late no one wants to cook or do dishes kinda nights, this is our go to spot for all the naughty greasy deliciousness that a proper raunchy slice requires. Calorie counter...? Not on Bentino's night! Enjoy my yelper friends... this one is still a winner in my book! It often takes several calls before you can get through the line cause they're often really busy. So just be patient. If you want crushed peppers and cheese, plates and napkins, you need to ask them this when you order for delivery, otherwise they do not stock these in their cars and they are also horrible about adding it to an order if you remember to call back and ask for these things. often times, they don't bring you the extra things anyway, so just know that and try to be okay with it, though I'm often not, cause I love me some crushed peppers and don't always have em in stock where I'm getting pizza delivered to so there's that! Pizza is still damn good and you just don't expect to have good pizza when you're in Ohio like you do when you're in states with larger cities.

Julie C.

Yelp
Food was delicious and delivery was great. Very nice delivery person. We had 2 large pizzas and a calzone

Yelp
Service: Friendly and quick Great chefs salad. Fresh and just enough "stuff". We all eat gluten free since our oldest has an allergy. The gluten free pizza is great. It's great in general not just because it's gluten. Toppings are fresh and good sauce/cheese/topping ratio.

No One S.

Yelp
This is our go to place to eat. I live in town and prefer Bentino's pizza over Ha Ha any day. Their gyros are also great! Whenever we have visitors from out of town we always order Bentino's.

Andrew A.

Yelp
Wanted to get a pizza before the comedy show at Tucks. Big mistake! Was told around 45 minutes for our pizza which would've worked out to quickly enjoy the pizza before the show, but one hour later there were still several orders in front of ours! So I had to choose pizza or comedy show & left without the pizza I paid for! So don't come here unless you have at least 2 hours you're willing to wait for your pizza!

Yelp
i don't even really like pizza but i enjoyed their deluxe! the side salads are huge and the pizza isn't too greasy! the toppings were a bit burnt, though. would get pizza from here again!

Yelp
Delicious Hawaiian deluxe calzone. All our friends wanted seconds. Planning a 2nd hike just for the food

Yelp
I was in Yellow Springs on a Friday night and all the other restaurants were packed. I wanted something better than corporate (Subway) and this place didn't seem as busy. It's a hole-in-the-wall style place with only a few seats, no AC, and only about 5 parking spaces. Still, it's a laid back place that I could see myself frequenting if I were local. They do pizza by the slice. Thin crust only. I ordered two slices of pepperoni and green peppers and a fountain drink. My total was under $7. The pizza took 10-15 to be ready. The crust was very thin, similar to what I'd expect for cauliflower or gluten-free crust. Pepperoni was cut thick. Green peppers were diced. Altogether it was nothing special, but nothing at all wrong with it. Best of all it's CHEAP! Tip: Restrooms are located across the street in the train depot.

Yelp
We were starving after setting up camp, and didn't feel like cooking. We called to place a take out order and it was ready in about 25 minutes. We were amazed by the taste of the food! It was hot and fresh! When we got in the restaurant we were greeted with a smile from I believe the owner. I was shocked after reading the reviews that this place was cute and charming. I highly recommend trying out this pizza place next time in town!

Yelp
This little hole in the wall pizza joint has a delicious thin crust and sauce and loads up the toppings. I really like their large thin crust with pepperoni and extra cheese. They sometimes have cheese cake available from the Cheesecake Factory. I miss their fresh salads that have been unavailable since the start of the plandemic. I hope they resume normal business hours and remove the pointless mask mandate, especially for those of us who have had the jab. They have severely restricted their days/hours due to COVID.

Yelp
We picked up a couple pizzas and an order of spaghetti to go on our way down to the new YS barrel room. Everything was delicious! Cheese/pepperoni pizza was a huge hit with the littles, and the deluxe for the adults was crust to crust full of toppings. Everything was covered in a thick layer of cheese and it was amazing. We will definitely be ordering from here again!

Roger S.

Yelp
Another business that doesn't know how to conduct business. Very disappointing order attempt. First, I tried to order online. The online order system is no longer accepting online orders. So, I see a tab to download their app. The app is not available either. Finally I call after looking at the menu and order lasagna. I'm told, "We don't have lasagna anymore." What a joke! Here is a tip: First, update your menu, secondly, remove the online order tab and thirdly either get the app or remove that tab too! Lost my business.

Yelp
We get the Deluxe, garlic knots, calzone, and Diet Coke. Probably the most excited the whole family gets when we have waited the self imposed 30 day pizza interval. Bentino's is a bit tricky to get in/out of the parking lot, but the food is worth it. Take it to the ys brewery if you have time!

J M.

Yelp
Personally, taste, and how I feel immediately after consumption and the next day are huge - my order performed well in those regards. My biggest complaint is my Calzone was the greasiest/oilest I've ever had. I know it was due to the cheese but good grief! It made eating the meal not pleasant, at all. We also had a Greek pie which was kind of tasty, not bad and not unreasonably greasy, just wasn't wowed by it. Three stars means I'd definitely give them another shot.

Joe A.

Yelp
After my order was 100% wrong we called and was hung up on multiple times. Called to fix and told us they can't fix it because we ordered it wrong. Guy said, "I never mess up." Normally a decent pizza place but I'm at a loss. Worst service ever and tell me it's my fault and refuse to fix their mistake. Sad.

Yelp
I think the pizza here is great! My husband is a pizza-sauce snob, and he gives their sauce a thumbs up. I just like the pizza overall. When we order pizza, we always call Bentino's! The only difficulty we ever have is parking, when we go to pick it up. There's not a whole lot of space to put a car so it can get a little hairy sometimes. We've never eaten in, since we live like 5 minutes away tops, so I can't comment on that part of it.

Yelp
This is a must when visiting Yellow Springs! Located close to some great trails for that reward after a stroll in the woods. Lots to choose from and all of it is delicious with great serving size. Come hungry and leave happy. Decorate a paper plate before you leave and add it to the wall:)

Yelp
Oh my goodness, where to even begin... their sauce is out of this world! I have driven to Benito's from Beavercreek a handful of times just to get their amazing breadsticks with their sauce that has absolutely no competition. Today I went outside of my breadstick box and ordered the lasagna along with my breadsticks. Woah. So much food for a reasonable cost and I had to get extra breadsticks because I used them on my extra lasagna sauce. As someone who really doesn't love pizza outside of Italy (yes, a snob), I have found my OH Italian heaven. Keep up the great work, we love you guys and will be ordering a vat of sauce before we move overseas!

Yelp
Oh Bentino's... you've been in my life for a few years now, and for this I'm thankful. I distinctly remember you accompanying weekend rendezvous with friends over to Yellow Springs Brewery, with pizza/wings, lots of laughs, and good times. My most recent memories are picking up food for either myself or a team of hungry co-workers to devour your goodness during lunch. From pizza (deluxe, meat madness, buffalo chicken... some of my faves), to your gyros (I devoured one at lunch today) and calzones, I'm always pleased. I've even thrown in a salad or two, mixed with a few garlic knots *swoooooon*. You really can't go wrong with Bentino's. The service is fairly quick and friendly. I've always ordered out and a few times had it delivered to the Brewery. The lunch specials are pretty good, and a variety of options are offered for $5.99. Today I had a gyro and I was pretty much in #foodieheaven. If you're in the cute little town of Yellow Springs please make sure you check out Bentino's (located on the main strip of YS, next to Subway and the bike trail). Until next time, Cheers! C.Rich

Yelp
This is one of my all time favorite pizza places. I generally get a meat lovers. I sub onions for the bacon because though I love bacon, I don't love it on pizza. I'll spare you the details, butI have my reasons besides the fact that I love onion. I also love vegetarian recipes as well and their veggie pizzas are to die for.

Yelp
Wow. Dropped in here on our way to Clifton Mills and looking for some lunch. Amazing pizza. We will definitively be back here again. Terrific customer service...very friendly and helpful. Bought a "Give Pizza (as in "peace") a Chance" with a pizza sliced in the shape of a peace sign...very cute.

Yelp
My husband ordered a pizza to be delivered to the Brewery. It was delivered hot and fresh before I got through the Ramen line outside. This is a very tasty, not your typical pizza, kinda joint. The sauce is different than most but in a good way.

Aimee G.

Yelp
Get the calzone! Any of them. They're all delicious. Salad and wings are a hit too. We love Bentino's!

Yelp
Having waited for close to an hour for our food at another pizza place, we called here on the way home to get a carry out order. We arrived here 18 minutes after I ordered and the pizza was ready. The pizza was delicious. That's all I've got. We would have been far better off going here to begin with. I'm hopeful that we will have a chance to have another Bentino's pizza soon.

Yelp
My husband and I drove in from waaaay out of town tonight. We were pretty exhausted from the drive and also quite hungry. After settling into our hotel room, we drove into town for some dinner. We just wanted something to bring back to the hotel, since we were both ready for pajamas. We had planned on going to Subway, but it was 9:35 (25 minutes before closing,) and the kid inside basically had all the lights off and was already mopping. We definitely didn't want to be THOSE people, so we decided to hit up the pizza place right next door called Bentino's. What first attracted us to this place was the fact that the door was wide open. It's kind of intimidating trying to find food relatively late at night in a small town. It's hard to know what's going to be open, so we definitely appreciated the open door and felt very welcome immediately when we walked in. The staff was SO nice!!!! They were pretty busy, but everyone seemed to work together well and they treated all the customers very kindly. After we placed our order for a medium pepperoni pizza, we were told the wait would be about 15 minutes. We grabbed a booth and waited. We waited as two different groups placed orders, got their food, finished it AND left. There were people in the groups that got pizza, so I can't really brush off the difference in wait times as maybe they ordered a sandwich or something easier. It took about 30 minutes to get our pizza. We're pretty patient people, so it wasn't a huge deal... we were just SO tired and ready to go. As we waited, we started seeing the impact that the welcoming, wide open doors had on the amount of bugs inside the restaurant. So many flies!!! And these beetle looking things. I'm glad we weren't planning on eating there because I don't like sharing my food with other people (or insects, in this case). We finally get our pizza, and as we leave, the entire staff ALL said good-bye to us, and thank you, and have a great weekend. Seriously the nicest people I have seen at this type of establishment. Once we got back to the room, we dig into the pizza. The first thing I notice were the thick pepperoni. I love this type of pepperoni.. you know where they curl up and form a little grease bowl? So good. I do have to say that beyond the pepperoni, the rest of the pizza was just mediocre. I had pretty high expectations based on other reviews, but honestly, it reminded me of the frozen pizzas we served at the movie theater I used to work at. If I lived in this area, this wouldn't be a place I would frequent. That being said, it hit the spot and filled us up after a long trip.
google avatar

Amber G.

Yelp
Good pizza, though small place. Not a whole lot of seating options. We had a party of 6 with a baby. There was only 1 table big enough to fit us all. Luckily the people sitting there were just finishing up as we needed it, so we stood beside it to claim it and awaited it to be cleaned, but i guess the staff were busy, so after a bit we just used napkins & cleaned it ourselves. The soda was not good at all. I got Pepsi & it tasted watery and flat so I let the cashier know. She said it wasn't low, but she would pass it along for someone to look at it. I tried 2 other sodas & got the same taste. After that I just drank water. So did a few others in my group.

Yelp
My friend and I drove up from Lexington, KY to do a 160-mile cycling day from Newtown, OH near Cincinnati to north of Springfield, OH and back. Previously, we had narrowed our lunch choices to Bentino's pizza in Yellow Springs, OH solely based on its location in context with our anticipated hungriness during that stage of our ride. After doubting whether the two of us could finish off a 16-inch pizza, we figured we could wrap up, and carry the leftover pizza with us to be consumed later. When about five miles from Yellow Springs, we called ahead and ordered a 16-inch pepperoni and spinach pizza. A girl said it would be ready in twenty minutes, which was perfect timing for our arrival. Upon arrival, I went in to retrieve the pizza. A friendly girl asked my name, went to the back, and came out carrying it. She was very pleasant and helpful. We found a bench outside and opened the box. It looked like utter ambrosia; especially since, at that point, we had ridden about 65 miles. We began consuming a few pieces. My friend complemented the way the pepperoni had a little crunch on the fringes the way bacon is often cooked. Piece after piece was devoured with gusto until suddenly, to our surprise, only two pieces remained. We polished those off too, and before disposing of the box, I couldn't resist, scraping out and eating the last small pieces of cheese. We finished our ride that evening fueled by Bentino's, and as I'm writing this, I am craving another Bentino's pizza. The next time, it may be in our best interest to order two or even three Bentino's 16-inch pizzas!

Rebecca L.

Yelp
The food in this restaurant is the best around Xenia/Dayton area! It's always fresh, delicious, well made, and service is always well done and friendly! Their pizza, calzones, and spaghetti and meatballs are superb! I highly recommend this excellent restaurant!!

Yelp
Really nice pizza - tried the Hawaiian deluxe pizza on a regular crust. It was delicious, the slivered almonds give it a nice crunch and a lovely taste. Nice balance of sweet and savory. Plenty of toppings without being too heavy or greasy. My wife had a Calzone and loved it. There aren't any restrooms on site, which is odd, but otherwise it's a cool place that fits in nicely with the yellow springs vibe. The other place doesn't appeal nearly as much to me. If you're not a fan of bananas on pizza or stores that close when grandma thinks it's still a little too early for dinner, maybe give Bentinos a try instead. I'm glad we did.

Yelp
I am blown away and not in a good way. A Bentino's Pizza worker was extremely rude with my 17-year-old daughter because THEY GOT OUR ORDER WRONG, and she said it was "a pain" to have to fix our order (when they get it wrong). The manager/ owner, identifying herself as Kim Lea, spoke to me on phone when I called them regarding the incident and the "owner" was even more rude than her employee. Ms. Lea told me they are tired of having to fix orders and that they do not ever make mistakes on orders, therefore we must order them incorrectly (are you kidding me?!). Ms. Lea said if we don't like getting orders that are not done properly, don't come back to her establishment. I have been in business for over a decade and I would never DREAM of treating people who honor me with their hard earned money in that manner. Further, it is nothing short of scary that an eatery would have no regard for allergen related issues or the legal liability she is taking on by her attitude around the issue. We are local residents who have supported Bentino's with our business on a regular basis. While we have had to have a few orders corrected, the majority of the time, things were fine. We were always treated very well by the male delivery person and I am totally stunned at the lack of professionalism displayed tonight, by these 2 women. I have never been treated this way by any business, ever. I hope the worker and Ms. Lea feel very mature to have tried to bully a kid for politely asking for them to correct THEIR mistake on an order. I was told by Ms. Lea that they have no problem fixing 1 order but if it happens ever again, she considers that customer to be a "pain". So, if you value getting what you asked for, stay away from this place because they have a "1 time limit" on correcting their own mistakes.
