This restaurant has been on my bucket list when we’re in HCMC. Judging by the crowds, it’s especially popular with Western diners, and we were ushered to a less crowded dining area adjacent to the main hall.
The food was generally very good. We ordered the grilled beef skewer served with rice vermicelli and vegetables, crispy fried shredded pork, seafood fried rice, and beef with mushrooms wrapped in a crispy pancake—all of which were delicious.
Unfortunately, the deep-fried pork knuckle was a letdown, as the skin was chewy rather than crisp.
Overall, the dining experience was pleasant, and the service was excellent.
