Berberè Pizzeria Tottenham Court Road

The Elizabeth Line was doing its usual best to prevent me from returning home so I decided to pop into this delightful little pizza spot by TCR station. Found a table outside which is great for people watching. Had to wait a fair while for the pizza to arrive but it was worth it! I ordered the spicy Diavola Piccante. The pizza itself is like a cross between a New York and Neapolitan. Sourdough, fluffy yet crispy crust and a thin base. Nice balance between the tomato sauce and not overloaded with cheese. Very tasty! Excellent, friendly staff, service with a smile and asked if everything was okay (a huge contrast to the ramen place I went to yesterday with its miserable and unfriendly waitress). Given the location, the quality of food and service, the price (£20) represented great value. Would happily return.

This is our second time here. The pizzas are just too nice. There's a great choice and the prices are great, especially considering it's central London. They are hot, fresh, and delicious. Staff are absolutely amazing, and there's a lovely atmosphere. Definitely check them out if you are in the area.

I ordered the smoked Margherita and it tasted very very good! The service was amazing too and the waiters were very kind. Since I really enjoy reading bad reviews on Google, I also saw, that all the bad reviews gave 1 star for ambience?? Well, the restaurant has a fast-food-restaurant like look but this doesn't make it look bad. I also was very clean, even on the toilet. I can highly reccommend their pizza and this fantastic restaurant! Also: Thank you for the free wi-fi!

What a fab pizzeria with lovely friendly staff. The pizza is a good size, super tasty and packed with ingredients, perfect for lunch/dinner plus dessert. Whilst they don’t have affogato on the menu, they were still happy to offer it. The casual feel of the place, in a quiet square, and the lovely staff, makes you feel like you are in a close friend’s home :) Very reasonable prices for central London.

I’ve been to this pizza spot multiple times, and it never disappoints. Every visit reminds me why I keep coming back—the pizza is simply amazing! Even their classic Margherita is a standout: cheesy, milky, and generously topped. The crust is perfectly baked, with just the right balance of softness and crunch. But what truly sets this place apart for me is the spicy ’nduja and honey dip. It’s the perfect finisher—after enjoying the rich and flavorful pizza, dipping the crust into that sweet and spicy sauce is an absolute game-changer. For central London, the prices are incredibly affordable, especially considering the quality of food and service. The restaurant design is stylish and welcoming, creating a great atmosphere for a casual meal or a fun night out. Special shoutout to Sara, Marcel, and Iryna who were incredibly accommodating and added to the overall great experience. This place is a gem—I always recommend it to friends and will definitely keep coming back for more amazing pizza and that unforgettable dip!

Food - the garlic bread was top notch. As simple a dish as it is, some places the dough is chewy, and there is hardly any garlic taste. Berbere got it spot on Pizza wise - the crust had 0 flop, it was nice and crispy, sauce was rich, toppings where yummy. Also 5/5 They had an accidental clerical issue in the kitchen and our order came out after a few other tables who arrived after us... Even then, we only waited about 20- 25 mins which isn't bad! The manager came over, apologised, and comped our pizza - what a lovely gesture. Il be going there again for sure. Some of the best pizza in central London, and the staff were super polite and friendly.

The girls who serve are so so sweet and they have perfect recommendations. I never had such wonderful vegan pizza before. Apple juice was so good and must try tiramisu.

This pizza joint with a small pizza focussed menu hits the right spot. We sat outside. Ordered the Diavola Piccante and the Garlic Bread. Plus a bottle of Sangiovese. Both pizza and bread was delicious. Staff was courteous. Oder came promptly. Setting was cozy. What more could you ask for???
