Berberè - Review - Soho - London - The Infatuation

"Sourdough pizza spot Berberè has opened near Tottenham Court Road and it has everything from a smoked cheese margherita to ‘nduja and burrata-topped pizzas. With spots in Clapham and Kentish Town already, this is the third London location. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Team Infatuation

went during quiet time but staff are still super friendly! The pizza we ordered was margerita, it is very italian style but I think I completely forgotten that it was sourdough so the crust hardens as it gets cooler which I didn't like because my preference is soft dough and when cools; is soggy. Anyways anazjng sauce and mozzarella the garlic butter is a tad bit too garlicky maybe a bit of parsley or herbs would lessen the pungency left in the mouth. Overall would reccomend if looking for pizza in a nice atmosphere! The interior is actually incredible and we also got grappa which felt very authentic haha 7/10 not my type of pizza but my company really enjoyed it and said it was exactly like what you could get in italy. Great music taste too lol

They’re not lying when they say « spicy » on their menu 😂. We had a great laugh. Pizzas were delicious, the staff was so friendly and nice ! Prices are surprisingly correct for such quality. We had a good time, thank you ✨ Will definitely recommend to my friends when they’ll travel to London.

Guys, just searched the area for a great pizza place and wow, my parents (from Italy) were over the moon! I had the Burrata and Nduja pizza, and as someone originally from Puglia, I can say it was absolutely delicious! The flavors were authentic and spot on. Highly recommend this pizzeria! We also got great seats on the sofa, which made the experience even better.

The Elizabeth Line was doing its usual best to prevent me from returning home so I decided to pop into this delightful little pizza spot by TCR station. Found a table outside which is great for people watching. Had to wait a fair while for the pizza to arrive but it was worth it! I ordered the spicy Diavola Piccante. The pizza itself is like a cross between a New York and Neapolitan. Sourdough, fluffy yet crispy crust and a thin base. Nice balance between the tomato sauce and not overloaded with cheese. Very tasty! Excellent, friendly staff, service with a smile and asked if everything was okay (a huge contrast to the ramen place I went to yesterday with its miserable and unfriendly waitress). Given the location, the quality of food and service, the price (£20) represented great value. Would happily return.

This is our second time here. The pizzas are just too nice. There's a great choice and the prices are great, especially considering it's central London. They are hot, fresh, and delicious. Staff are absolutely amazing, and there's a lovely atmosphere. Definitely check them out if you are in the area.

Wonderfully light and crispy sourdough pizzas. An uncomplicated menu at seriously reasonable prices. Service excellent. Order the tiramisu!

First of all, I just want to point out that staff are EXCELLENT. They are so helpful and friendly. I really appreciated that before we even grabbed a table, the staff offered to tell us about the halal options because he saw that I was visibly Muslim. The mozzarella is the only halal cheese available but you can customise your pizza by removing any other cheeses and substituting it with the mozzarella. The minced lamb is also halal. I went for the Pepe and my friend got for the four cheese without the truffle oil. We were both so happy with our pizzas. To be honest, it got better the more I ate! 😆 We spoke to another staff member when we were paying and had a wonderful quick chat about the toppings available and halal options there. Honestly, I just really enjoyed the atmosphere and the young ladies and gentlemen were working so hard to make sure we were happy with the food and always had a smile on their face. I’ll definitely come back to try that halal tiramisu as well!

Food - the garlic bread was top notch. As simple a dish as it is, some places the dough is chewy, and there is hardly any garlic taste. Berbere got it spot on Pizza wise - the crust had 0 flop, it was nice and crispy, sauce was rich, toppings where yummy. Also 5/5 They had an accidental clerical issue in the kitchen and our order came out after a few other tables who arrived after us... Even then, we only waited about 20- 25 mins which isn't bad! The manager came over, apologised, and comped our pizza - what a lovely gesture. Il be going there again for sure. Some of the best pizza in central London, and the staff were super polite and friendly.
