I've eaten at Bergamot several dozen times because of how close it is to my work.
It really is a charming spot with such a friendly staff. The food is good, not mind-blowing, but priced correctly and consistently tasty. The coffee is especially great! Come on a sunny LA day and enjoy their large outdoor seating area that is actually pretty quiet, considering they're somewhat isolated from the major streets.

If I ever need to get away from big crowds at lunch time and have a relaxing, enjoyable and tasty meal, Bergamot Cafe is my first choice.

Great place for a quick lunch before heading back to work or going to check out the galleries.
Parking has gotten a little more tight since corporate offices opened just next door, but still places to park (for free).
Patio in front to eat also doubles as a great place to work (coding in my case). Interesting people watching too: everything from corporate types, to the 'wanna-be-seen' hipsters, to the (real) artsy types.

Bergamot has a fine balance of a hipstery cafe and something kinda straightforwardly cafeteria about it. This location is near an art center and attracts all kinds of interesting people. I highly recommend their dirty chai and the pesto sandwich.

Interesting location. Food is fine, not standout. Big work crowds for lunch. Decent place to do a lunch meeting as such. Easy to find a seat in the outdoor area.
