Ladinia

"Both the Berghotel Ladinia and its restaurant of the same name boast a warm, vintage Alpine-style ambience, with wood decor that tells the story of this business which opened as a simple inn back in 1930. Little has changed since then and guests return here time after time thanks to the warm welcome and attention to detail offered by the Costa family. The traditional cuisine has the occasional modern twist, while the few Ladin-style guestrooms are decorated with a profusion of wood." - Michelin Inspector

Very special - let's say a vintage B&B. Very cosy, small rooms, low ceiling ... which gives you a feeling of an experience from another period. What is really outstanding is the level of customized service orientation from the young and extremely motivated staff (which is nowadays pretty seldom to find) - combined with great dishes and locally sourced high quality ingredients. And of course a wine list like no one - wine makers who I would consider as revoluzzers ;-). If you are looking for posh hotel than it is not your place but in case you looking for something unique this is the place.

We had a fantastic few days here. The service was personal and the staff did everything to ensure we had the best holiday. The food was great and the hotel has a cosy feel to it. It is well located, a few minutes walk to town and you can ski pretty much from the door. Thank you to the whole team.

We ate in the restaurant. The staff were very polite and attentive and our meal was excellent. The decor was also beautiful.

Very intimate, almost family-like experience. This is an extremely small hotel (13 rooms perhaps?), made even more so by the incredibly small rooms with incredibly small bathrooms. While small in proportions, the hotel is big on character - authenticity, interesting decor, charming restaurant. It feels like staying in the small guest bedroom at a friend's house that used to be her grandmother's house.||The rooms are teeny, tiny with barely room for a bed and small bench - so don't come here with three suitcases each! On the other hand, if your plan is just to sleep here while spending time enjoying the skiing/hiking in the region and enjoying the excellent breakfasts and dinners, then this is a great choice.||The breakfast buffet was of the high quality/low variety approach, which makes sense in a hotel with so few rooms - enjoy the fantastic jams on tasty breads and you will be well fortified for the day. Dinner was also of excellent quality, with few but interesting choices, each well prepared and presented in an unfussy manner. We were quite content eating here each night and never felt the need to venture into town for dinner.||What sets the hotel apart, however, was the excellent staff. This is not formal, stiff service but warm, even friendly, service by young people who seemed to be enjoying themselves - serving without being subservient is a tough balance to get right, and this team did a great job of it. Again, sort of like being in a friend's house.||Definitely worth considering this small hotel if you want an intimate setting and can do without the trappings of a larger hotel.

A small and super charming hotel (more like an inn) with extremely attentive staff. The room was small but we didn't mind; it had a super cozy vibe and we were cool with it. We had a lovely dinner out on the patio and then took our drinks to the second floor deck to watch the sunset. Earlier in the day I had to do some work, and while I was sitting at one of the restaurant tables using my computer, one of the staff brought me a wonderful small plate of appetizers as a surprise. Awesome breakfast spread. The hotel is right across the way from its sister property, La Perla, which allowed us to use their spa facilities for a small day fee.

Incredible value; probably my favorite vacation stay of my life. We were pleasantly surprised to find that all of our delicious, fresh meals were included in the price of our room. Ask Alessio for hiking and wine recommendations and don't skip the spa at La Perla hotel next door.

Beautiful hotel nestled in a quaint location. Breakfast and dinner were amazing with different options every day and they also have an interesting selection of local wines. In addition, they also have a nice veranda where you can sit outside. Rooms were nice and clean.
