This spot is an absolute gem! The atmosphere is unique and welcoming, and the owner, Ryan, was incredibly kind and hospitable. The food was delicious, and the corndog was a fun surprise! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great vibe and friendly service.

It's Always a Good Time when I come here with Friends. On Tuesday evenings they have Live Music. The waiters are always friendly & attentive and the atmosphere is always GREAT. We hadn't been here for several months so decided it was time to stop by for dinner tonight. Don't let the fact that there is a bar in the front dissuade you, a separate dining room is in the back. One of us ordered the Triple decker club sandwich, one ordered the turkey burger and I ordered the fish and chips with the split pea soup. The soup was amazing, the best we've ever had! Everyone enjoyed their meal. Their prices are reasonable and their menu has many choices. We'll definitely come back again soon.

Burger with pepper jack cheese was excellent. Grilled to perfection. The fries were also amazing. Seasoned just right and were crispy. Not your regular bar, live music on Tuesdays! I'll be back many times.

Well Bernie's we tried, but under new ownership ya changed the zucchini for a tasteless substitute and a medium rare burger is not that tough. Sautéed mushrooms were yummy.

Service here is absolutely great! Adrianna is the sweetest and very tentative. Also the pretzel is to die for, Definitely my favorite place to grab a drink at.

Giving this place 5 stars. I've been going to Bergies for close to 15 years and think the new ownership has brought a fresh & new energy. The food is great, and the beer selection is plenty and plenty of tvs to watch sports. The bathrooms were clean and up to my standards. Give this place a chance if you haven't already.

WOW.. all I can say is the new Owner Ryan really did it right! Atmosphere is really fun.. Food is amazing.. the avocado fries and the prime rib..YUMMY and the cocktails are fantastic.. Can't wait to go back and try some more good food off the menu :)

Racist place very bad service food is crap. Rather go to vender then waste money her again. To the Ryan b. I went there about a year ago saw you guys on Google that's only reason I posted remember the negative service.and the crappy food maybe know it's different but after going to that environment I would not feel safe

We were a party of 20 in the back room and many different menu item were ordered. Generous portions, food was served hot. Server was great and remembered everyone's name. Will definitely go back.

The place does feel refreshed under new ownership. The food is fresh and the drinks, generous. Cozy and much needed neighborhood bar and restaurant. Highly recommended.

Have lived in the area for 15 years. Never went to bergies until a couple of weeks ago. I guess there's a new owner. He seems like a nice guy. regarding the controversy with the old owners, who cares? all the negative reviews are fake reviews from morons high on fake news. All of you CNN lemmings can kiss my azzzzz. California sucks. But Bergies doesn't. Good mixed crowd. Good vibes. Do yourself a favor and support real businesses, that pay taxes, rent buildings, and are owned by locals. Support your community. Support Bergies.

We have come to Bergies for years. The cook is fantastic try the lemon or teriyaki chicken! We love it. Veggies are fantastic, service is always good. Crowd has always been mellow when we are here. Excellent won't disappoint .

As a former long time patron, I want say went back again for the 2nd time since Ryan new owner took over. Really great food. Of course service too since served by Ryan. Oh yeah I'll be back. Soon.

Under new management, it's better than ever. Food was great we had the Bergies burger , and the service was fantastic. It will definitely be our go to once again.

Second time here with the family. Service was great. Had the beer batter onion rings to start and they are typical bar fare, good. My son and I split the cowboy burger and a patty melt. Both meats were cooked with the right amount of pink. Taste wise, we felt that there could have been more flavor, salt. Someone else had the tri tip and said it was cooked perfect but needed some flavor. Everyone who had salads finished them completely and said their dressings were good, ranch and blue cheese. Steak cut fries were very good and the string fries had plenty of flavor. Will come back.

Everything about this place is amazing. Ryan is so nice. He really cares about the business being the best it can be. He took so much time out of his work to chat with us. Adriana our server was so sweet and kind. I had prime rib with fried shrimp added. My friends got the chili size and a BLT bacon extra crispy. Everything was perfect. I've had a lot of prime rib and this was among the best I've ever had. I wanna go back and try everything. Only mistake I made was we didn't get dessert. Definitely go there. I'm so glad we have a great local business to support.

Love this bar. Staff has always been friendly. Good live music on the weekends. For the past 5 yrs always my spot you can find me at Bergies. Sunday Funday ! My girl and I love coming here. Meet some really awesome friends. For me not being around this area felt welcome from day one. Plenty of TVs for what ever your in the mood for. Foot not to bad also. Get the Steak Dip extra sauce. My favorite A place they let's you have fun! Hahaha

Bergies bar and grill has come full circle since the new owner has taken over. Ryan has done a great job! Definitely a place that you can bring the entire family to. In the mornings they have breakfast and at night they have dinners that are off the charts the best steaks in Santa Carita by far! and then also stick around for the night time and have some drinks!

Food and service is great!! But more importantly, the new owner is against the ugly incident committed by the previous owner regarding racial discrimination!! I swore off this place, but read an article saying it was new ownership so I returned. I am happy to report the food was great! Service was top notch! Let's all give this place support and turn a negative into a positive! 5 stars!!!!

Since new management has taken over, this place is GREAT! Ryan and his staff are amazing. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted by staff and customers. Not only are the staff amazing but so are the people who frequent it. Food is delicious, beer is cold, mixed drinks are strong and atmosphere is great! Great job Bergies, keep up the great work!

My new favorite local dive. Ryan, the new owner is so welcoming. As close to a Cheers feeling as I've gotten in the SCV. Went for a burger but ended up ordering the pastrami. So good. Thin cut, great bread, and the seasoned fries are fantastic!!! Next time I'll get a burger which I heard is great. Perfect bar selection. Moscow mule was tasty followed by a lovely house cabernet. We will definitely be coming back again and again. Thanks for a great night!

I had the NY Steak last night and it was delicious. Tasty and cooked just right. Also we started with homemade taquitos they will be a hit.

The energy, the cleanliness, and atmosphere are totally and radically renewed!!! It's a fun place to come to. The food is awesome and the drinks made to perfection! Seeing friendly faces was definitely an added bonus. Come and you'll be glad you did!!

We stopped by for lunch the patty melt with fresh cut fries extremely delicious BLT was also delicious service was great . We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door . We will be coming back to try out breakfast and dinner soon .... They are under new ownership and it shows Very friendly atmosphere..

Great food, great drinks and great band last Friday night! The band has a 17 year old kid that was slaying with his guitar and was awesome! The service was great and the place was nice and clean! Overall I had a great time and highly recommend!

This is a hidden gem. In search of a classic dive bar? This is your place. Don't let any low ratings fool you, they are designed to keep people away and preserve this place for the locals. Do yourself a favor and give it a go. The hamburgers are also legit!

I was passing through for work. Went in because I heard the food was decent. Boy was I wrong. You can tell the food was in their freezer for a while. Just plain nasty. If you have very low standards have at it. I sure as hell will never go back. Customer service was horrific too. Snappy attitudes.

Would not recommend. We came in after 1:30pm on a Saturday and were seated in the back room. It took about 45 min for the waitress to come and take our order. And this was after we found her to ask her to come to our table. There was only 1 server at this hour. I ordered the dinner salad, at least I can say it was washed because the lettuce was swimming in water. The bathrooms were not well stocked, the facility did not seem clean. This is a one and done for me.

If you enjoy live roaches and rodent droppings with your meal, this place is for you! I went to this restaurant after my sister and brother recommended this place as it was the closest to their home and I mostly wanted some drinks. While I was there, everything just felt off it and didn't seem very clean; which is something I really expect form a restaurant. Unfortunately for me it wasn't until after that I saw they had a "B" rating for their health inspection score. Apparently they had their health permit revoked in July from the health inspector finding rodent droppings and roaches in the dining and kitchen area. Looks like a "permit" doesn't guarantee you are eating at a safe and reputable restaurant. Before any one wants accuse me of attacking this location, I make sure I cite my sources before making a claim. One can check out the LA County Health Inspection Report for themselves or can ask the restaurant directly for a copy to review. While not a direct link to the inspection, the link below will take you to the official la county web page where you can search for this this restaurant and read the health inspector's full report. I for one am a disgusted I didn't find this out before eating here, I guess I will just have to find a cleaner and more reputable place for my business the next time I'm in the area. This is a traditional local watering hole bar. It's the polar opposite of swanky and trendy. You won't hear much hip hop rap , you will hear old rock music and country. The food is great for bar food, there is Often live music, usually some 80s metal cover bands and the demographic reflects those that grew up In that era. It is also one of the only places for miles around where you can regularly see the payperview UFC fights which is usually my reason for going. You'll get a nice break from mask hysteria here too. That alone is worth a visit these days. Drink prices are fair and the parking is plentiful.

Great Bar and Grill! Had avocado fries and Blue Moon Burger. Both were amazing? Highly recommend this place. Clean bar & men's restroom. I don't know why all the one star ratings because bad food and restrooms are dirty. We visited this establishment tonight, 09/15/23. We were hungry and we had just left our sons house from Acton and we're looking for some food and a good drink. We were pleasantly surprised. My husband and I shared a filet mignon which was cooked perfectly. It was also thick and juicy. It was probably literally the best steak we've had in the Santa Clarita Valley in a really long time. It came with some mixed vegetables and a delicious loaded baked potato. The drinks were great! Our server Adriana was a sweet young smiling girl that was very attentive and took care of us very well. The owner who's name is Ryan visit at our table and made sure that everything was good. Please give this place a shot Ryan is really trying hard to make this place what it was when it was first opened and that's a good thing! Thank you Bergies for making our night!

Food was disgusting, my friends burger was over cooked, it felt like chewing charcoal, service really slow, and warm beer!

Went there to try a new spot. Turned out to be a big mistake. The food was awful the place was dirty and servers were just rude. I would definitely avoid this place at all costs. There are much better places in the surrounding area. Just save yourself from wasting time and money here. You'll thank me later. Plenty of nice family places for you to enjoy in other parts of the city
