"The Napa Valley Register reports that the offices of Beringer Vineyards, which claims that it is “California’s oldest continuously operating winery,” were robbed on January 5 by thieves that got away with $50,000 of goods (including a 2016 Ford F-150 truck) — but no wine." - Eve Batey

Excellent winery tour in Saint Helena, Napa Valley. I have an ultimately, the pleasure of tasting and learning about wine in a beautiful setting is an enjoyable and enriching experience. Beringer has stunning landscapes. The serene environment enhances the overall experience, making it so relaxing and rewarding.

Google
First time in Napa , and is was one of my favorite vineyards. The experience with Jesus out tour guide was amazing . He taught a lot of wine and how each pair of food and our pallets affect each wine . The castle tour was amazing indescribable just breath taking . It’s a must to visit ! We will be back again in spring

Beringer is a Napa stalwart. They have been producing award winning wines for decades. The tasting rooms are beautifully done and the tour is spectacular. Reservations very highly recommended on weekends

Google
Beautiful grounds and establishment. Grounds are incredible, people were nice and greeted us upon arrival. Did the Tour and Tasting. Very informative on history of the family and the valley. Wines were good. Visited the Mansion while there. Told we could check out the first floor. Disappointed they turn it from a house to a gift shop. Would have liked to see it how it was when they lived there. That was only thing I was disappointed in.

We visited here on a recommendation for a veranda tasting and it was simply wonderful. From the moment we checked in we were greeted warmly and asked if we were celebrating a special occasion. We explained it was our honeymoon and my the time we were seated (after a lovely stroll through the property’s gardens) there was a card on our table congratulating us! The wines were absolutely delicious and explained brilliantly. The accompanying cheeseboard is a must to include and getting to take the physical board with you as a souvenir is a lovely touch. We really enjoyed our time here and can see why it’s constantly winning awards due to the beauty of the property, the knowledge of the team and their outstanding customer service!

Google
Good place for beginner wine tasting. The vineyard is definitely small in size compared to other vineyards in Napa. The main attraction is just the main building, the cellar, and a small field of grapes. We did the taste of beringer tasting. The tour starts in the visitor center, then to the sensory garden, the to the building for tasting. Each wine had its unique flavor, paired with food, provides a food intro to wines in general.

Google
This is one of the best vineyards and would highly recommend them for wine tasting and touring. We did their cave tour and it was out of the world exceptional. Would highly recommend having a reservation. We got delayed due to traffic and called them ahead of time and they were able to accommodate us well for our tour. Their cave tour includes three wine tastings. They do have an option of just touring the caves for non-drinkers. Their estate is one of the best for strolling around and grabbing wine from their store and relax with your sips. Plenty of outdoor seating available. Plenty of parking spots available as well. The vineyard has a long German history which was well explained by our host for the cave tour. Overall a fun experience and one of the best vineyards in Napa.

Google
Drew was our tour guide for the old cave tour at Berlinger and it was so interesting with good pours of wine and lots of facts about the estate. Would recommend to take this tour when visiting Napa!

Yelp
Hats off to Jesús for making our Taste of Beringer Experience a very special event for my wife as we celebrated her birthday and Mother's Day as well as our anniversary today. We're now members of the Beringer Club and look forward to returning to the winery again in the future.

Yelp
They have a sip and stroll type activity here that you prebook online. Of all the different wineries around here and in Napa. They seem to be one of the most lax ones in regards to individuals getting in (in a good way). This place allows kids, pets and people in cargo shorts and flip flops to come!!! I know some places don't even allow children. And others you have to be somewhat dressed up. Here they don't seem to mind, which is cool. For the sip and stroll, you have a choice between 4 different wines. I don't even know which one I had poured for me. But it's seems to be a pretty big winery. There's many places to walk around and chill. They have little huts throughout the premises that sell charcuterie boards, more wine and chips. All the people working here that we met were really nice. They even called a last call before they shut down doe the evening. It's a pretty laid back place with many different places to take pictures. Vineyards and orchards, green spaces, fountains, cobble stone pathways. My only issue with this place (I don't know if it's like that in the other wineries as well), is that they close at 5pm. We were able to stay a little longer, but they start herding you towards the exits, and the suns still up. Like I get closing at 5pm in the winter months, but not in the spring and summer months!! But besides that it was pretty cool. Had a great time.

Yelp
I had an awful experience here. We did the 30 minute cave tour. The tour was definitely shorter than 30 minutes and the wines were okay. What I was extremely upset with was our service. I hate to be political but we were the only POC on our tour. Our guide gave us the smallest pours out of anyone. She was generous with everyone and then for our pours, it was significantly less (like significantly so, not even enough for two sips). Extremely extremely disappointed and will actively encourage folks to avoid this place if possible.

Yelp
First time in Napa Valley and the beautiful area of St. Helena. We were lucky and came on a gorgeous sunny day, making every palm tree sing and every bocce court an instant stop! Also, who knew bocce was so fun? Just try not to spill everywhere... At Beringer, they had one near the Sherry Shack -- an outdoor bar and snack shop on their vast property. There's a large parking lot here for visitors, and friendly staff who greet you upon arrival. We came during the holidays, so it was there was a bit of a line for service. But the staff were knowledgeable and very nice. You can book one of their tour packages, or do a Sip & Stroll, or sit down at their restaurant/bar/shop area for drinks and snacks. Lots of options! Including prices for those just joining the tour and not tasting. Not much seating indoor, but there are patio seating all over the rest of the property. One of the unique featured tours at Beringer is the Legacy Cave Tour! Which are offered at 4x daily. But they DO fill up, so book ahead if that's something you really want to do.

Yelp
Another reason I am made I don't live in or near napa ha ha ha. I would become a member of this winery. The tour was awesome and I loved every wine sample I had plus the food paired with it. I ended up with a bottle of pinot noir to take home. The property is beautiful and the service was great. I recommend coming here when in napa.

Steve R.

Yelp
The grounds are gorgeous and like a mini botanical gardens Now it was our first tasting of the day and in the morning so it was not to our palate to start with heavy reds so we did a rose. Which was nice and crisp a bit sweet for my taste but easy to handle Service is great and the mansion is amazing for doing tastings and a great outdoor patio.

Yelp
A beautiful winery to explore when in St Helena. We opted for the Old Wine Cave Tasting Tour which included a Chardonnay, Red Blend, Pinot Noir, Malbec and a Cabernet Sauvignon.I personally liked their Cab and Pinot Noir more than the other options. Special thanks to Daniela for doing a great job at walking us through the history of the region and Beringer. As part of the tour, we had the first two wines while exploring the cave part of the tour which was nice. However, the remaining three were served to us while seated. If you prefer tasting your wines one after the other then this tour might not be for you as the pinot noir, malbec and cab were served all at once. To end the wine tasting, they poured us some of their dessert wine which is called the Nightingale. The property is well maintained with clean restrooms, plenty of area to stroll around after your wine tasting and sufficient parking spaces.

Yelp
8/19/23 Beautiful & gorgeous well manicured lawns, sculpted trees, grounds, architectural wonder....spectacular indeed! If you're a wine enthusiast, this place sets the tone for a wonderful experience. Not a very warm or welcoming reception from the ladies inquiring if you have a reservation though..... Nevertheless, my experience overall was phenomenal in terms of the self guided tour of the grounds. I wish i could partake but, alas, I have an allergy to alcohol. The shops have merchandise such as candles, hats, clothing stemware, jams, balsamic vinegar, and of course, wines. We purchased balsamic vinegar (one for me & one for my girlfriend) and a fridge magnet-these are excellent souvenirs, just stick em & they're useful, space savers:)) What I enjoyed the most was the fruit bearing trees that are carefully pruned to grow in such a way that is both functional & artfully pleasing for viewing. Most of the outdoor seating areas are reserved for guests who have appointments (which the ladies have tersely announced more than once, such snobs). There are a few tables & chairs to enjoy snacks & beverages aside from wine. There's a shack that sell potato chips & other treats in the property. Wine grapes are also grown where guests roam, aLong with fruit-bearing trees such as plums, apples, figs & persimmons. Given the not-so-so warm reception from the ladies at the main receiving area, they lost a star. Otherwise, Beringer Vineyards is one of the oldest wineries in Napa Valley, from the Beringer brothers, from Germany.

Yelp
I came here with a large group of over 15 people. I'm not sure if it was because I was in a large group but the whole experience felt very underwhelming compared to other wineries nearby. We were greeted by a lady who didn't give off the best vibes in terms of service. She seemed a bit judgmental, but I could've been overly sensitive. We were led to an area with multiple tables, and upon sitting, she had presented us with a rosé, a white, and a red. In other places, there's usually a tasting menu that has some sort of theme to it, such as having all sparkling wines, all red wines, etc. However, I did not feel like this was the same experience. In other wineries as well, usually the sommelier will pour the wine for you and explain the types of flavors and notes you should taste. This was very much a self-serve experience: they give you the bottle and then you pour it yourself. If I wanted that experience, I would've just bought bottles of wine from the store and drank them at home. The charcuterie board was pretty good. They had a cheese that was infused with wine that I really liked. It is pretty hard to mess up a charcuterie board in my opinion. One nice thing about this place though is that they let you walk through the vineyards and you can even taste the grapes! They were a lot sweeter than I imagined. Another thing I did like was that they let you keep the charcuterie board if you order some. It was a nice memento from the trip. There is also a bocce ball area, which was nice for a larger group.

Yelp
Beautiful grounds, but we had a subpar experience. I was at the gift shop area, ready to join the wine club. While I was waiting to pay, accidentally set one foot in the "reserved" section because I wanted to see what wines were on display and read the menu. Oops. She said "nuh uhhhhh" instead of something like "I'm sorry, but this is the reserved section only. I'm not sure if it's because I had a toddler, if it was because we were POC, but she just was not welcoming the whole time we were there. I'll spare the rest of the details, but the other worker was patient and helpful when my family was trying some of the wines to decide which of the reserves bottles to purchase.

Yelp
Looking for the ideal "sip and stroll" spot in wine country? Look no further than Beringer! Ideally located in St. Helena, I love being able to sip on a glass and explore this incredible estate! Sometimes you want to get up and walk around while wine tasting and Beringer provided just that! With incredibly nice staff and great views, I don't understand the poor reviews. Ignore them and enjoy!

Elena J.

Yelp
Beringer wines aren't my favorite, let's just put that upfront. They tend to be very complex, and Smokey on my pallet. However, the experience is top notch for a value price. The tasting room is cute, and I really enjoy the cave tour. It's quick, cheap (relative to other tastings that include mini tours) and the hosts are always personable and really knowledgeable. It's a very well organized facility where you check in up front and they give you a sticker to direct you where to meet your group.

Dima F.

Yelp
This review is for the front desk reception at the Rhine house. The older lady who checks you in has the worst attitude. Unprofessional and snappy. Listen, I have two Bringer memberships, don't talk down to me or my wife. Customers are the reason you have a job. Just smile, be accommodating and professional. You're not selling 10$ bottles of wine. I'm not interested in your negativity. She creates a negative environment every time I come for a tasting.

Mike L.

Yelp
What a cool experience. My wife and I went to our first wine tasting and could not have had a better time. Eddie made it so fun. It was great learning about the differences between the locations and grapes. We sat outside Dec 30th but had blankets and heaters and wouldn't change a thing. Top shelf service from Eddie, we even got to try and take home a bottle that was from the original home vineyard that wan't even on the wine list. The whole thing felt very VIP. Thanks Eddie we had a blast.

Rod V.

Yelp
We were members. They treat you terribly. They cater to you and make you feel like a king until you join. After that you're just a nuisance in their eyes. You buy numerous bottles and you go when you have a pick up and that's when you're treated like dirt. The servers are arrogant as if they own the winery. Don't join! This place is a joke

Yelp
My husband and I had a reservation last Saturday for the Old Winery Tour & Tasting. Charlie was our guide and he was very friendly and knowledgeable. I really enjoyed speaking to Charlie because he wasn't snobby and answered all my questions without judgement. The wine cave tour was very interesting and enjoyable - we tasted two wines while we walked through the caves and learned a bit of its history but it was only for about 10 mins. So don't expect a whole experience out of that. Lol I did like that it was a short tour and then we were seated a tasting area for the three remaining wines paired with almonds and truffle potato chips. It was a much more relaxed experience. I really like that they offer so many different tasting experiences at Beringer and I would highly recommend giving it a try!

Kat L.

Yelp
Beautiful sunny CA!!! Wine tasting and exploring the Beringer Vineyards Estate. A National and State Historic property in 19th century architecture and a picturesque countryside garden. If you haven't been, do visit and enjoy the beauty of the Rhine House estate.

Sharon B.

Yelp
We dropped into this winery to do the quick 30 minute Cave tour and tasting. I was disappointed on many levels. The first issue is that the only thing left of the original tunnels is a single short tunnel that is the only thing that didn't cave in completely. So the winery had a few short tunnels dug near it so you can view the original which looked to be less than 100 feet long and not reinforced so no one is allowed in it. The 2nd and bigger issue is the taste of the wines is blah bitter. I'm glad we only spent 30 minutes here.

Terra S.

Yelp
I would stop here just for one glass of wine and to roam the gardens and check out the house. It's more about the view. The house is really cool! Reminds me of maybe a haunted place that should be in a movie. We read on a blog that if you had a military ID you got a free glass of wine, but when we got there, they said that that was not true, but they honored it for us when I showed them what I had read on a Napa Valley website. So that was very nice! When you walk up and through the back garden, there's another tasting room in the back, and then you can walk all the way over to the house through the gardens which is cool. Don't forget to take your videos and photos!

Yelp
Beringer is truly a wonderland for wine enthusiasts! The breathtaking grounds and exceptional wine tasting experience make it a Disneyland for adults! If you are looking for a unforgettable Napa experience, you should definitely check out this place.

Carolyn N.

Yelp
Poor Value for the Cost. I booked the Taste of Beringer for $95. From the description it sounded like a first class tour. I was told to arrive 15 minutes before the tour and warned to arrive in time to park etc. I did arrive an hour early to enjoy the grounds and ensure I was there on time. At 1:03 the tour guide hurried in and rather abruptly told me to wait by the stairs and disappeared, He started the tour 15 minutes late, asking if we were wine drinkers. I said I was not, he disregarded that and said a couple time...since you are wine drinkers (!!). We finally got into the Rhine House, we had a private room. The group of people were fun. He ended the tour rather abruptly our 90 minutes was up and he had another tour. People started to remove our glasses. I bought a bottle of wine another glass of $35 Reserve, I was then told the veranda was "reserved" likely an additional fee??? I did have a nice afternoon but feel I was a bit ripped off. And when I booked they asked if I was celebrating a special occasion Yes thank you I was celebrating my birthday and that wasn't acknowledged either.

Holly C.

Yelp
Wine wasn't that great but the area is nice... the cave tour is very cool as well ... but a nice spot to see

Nicole H.

Yelp
Our visit to Beringer Vineyards was a disappointing one. I had family visiting from out of state and wanted them to experience one of my favorite things, wine tasting. I researched family-friendly wineries because our group included two children. Beringer made it on almost every top ten list I found, so we were so excited to visit. My first impression driving up = the property is GORGEOUS and well-manicured! The owners and staff clearly take pride in keeping the property looking its best. We parked and walked up to the tasting room and one staff member held her arms out and asked if we were members or had a reservation. She explained that usually walk-ins would be accommodated but today they were under construction- they were putting in or removing a tree (I can't remember but everyone was very concerned about the tree in the distance.. I'm wondering why they didn't close if it was such an issue). The odd unfriendly greeting was off-putting, but the red flag was that we were the only party she stopped. There were two other large groups that walked up while she was talking to us, she looked at them and let them walk to the front door - no conversation, no engagement at all. It was just so strange, shouldn't she have asked them if they were members or had a reservation as well? The entire interaction left a bad taste in my mouth... so with that said I will not be back. My family did stop and take pictures in front of the scenery and then walked over to another building where they sell wine by the glass - no tastings. Everyone said that they felt unwelcomed the entire time and we quickly moved on to the next stop (which thankfully made up for this bad experience).

Laura G.

Yelp
We went for the sip and stroll. The whole thing was expensive and underwhelming for what you get. One glass tasting to just wonder around the property. The grounds are pretty but small and there's only a tiny display vineyard to see. They had a bocce court but no balls to play. We were there maybe 20 minutes. There's better vineyards to visit.

Dom A.

Yelp
We stopped at Beringer's on a whim during a recent and quick trip to Napa and Sonoma and we had a lovely time. Lisa, who worked outside in the garden area, was both welcoming and helpful - she added to the great experience of enjoying a nice bottle of wine on the beautiful grounds. Highly recommended.

Rinal S.

Yelp
Good area, but no access to barrels. Just stroll and sip for people with Family. The property was good but the wine was over priced and the service was biased.

Ayush K.

Yelp
Beringer wine tasting is different from most of the other wineries in the area. Usually, at other wineries, they sit you down and walk you through all the different wines (usually 3 or more) that you taste and talk about the history of the vineyard and climate and all but at Beringer, they give you one glass of wine and then you can roam around the premises and explore the area on your own. We got to pick one wine from the 4 wine options we had - white wine, rosé, pinot noir, and cabrenet sauvignon. When you walk around the premises, you can scan bar codes at different areas and learn about the history of the place. There wasn't much to explore. The main big house has wine tasting rooms inside, but those, I believe, are reserved for members. You can still go in and explore. They didn't have any charcuterie options except the two charcuterie board assortment we found in the gift shop in the refrigerator. The staff at the gift shop wasn't the most friendly. We went on a weekday so it wasn't busy. There is plenty of seating including some picnic style tables for big groups.

Mundae K.

Yelp
What a beautiful winery! The shop is adorable. Light and airy with TONS of different things to choose from. There really is something for everyone here. We had a custom charcuterie board, and it was fantastic!!! Beringer has been making huge strides, and we are extremely impressed with their wine and presentation. I think it is important to note that Robert Parker from The Wine Advocate has great things to say about Beringer. We were particularly impressed with the Cabernet. With 144 years of history, there is tons to explore on the property. We had the premium tasting, so we had an opportunity to explore the amazing hand-dig caves . Did you know that after Prohibition, Beringer was the first winery to offer public tours? This was further expanded in 1939 when winemaker, Fred Abruzzini, distributed flyers and maps at the Golden Gate Exposition on Treasure Island.l and when Hollywood stars, like Carole Lombard and Clark Gable, also made the trek up to Beringer. The only downside was our testing guide, who made it VERY clear that he would rather be spending his time talking with the young group of UCLA students. In summary, despite the poor service at the end, I highly recommend a visit and a tasting.

Patricia B.

Yelp
This winery was not all what I expected. With the of $35 each we received one glass wine. I had to ask what is was. Than we walked in the cave and learned about the different owners, than received another red wine which was awful, the tour went a little further explaining about the different regions where the grapes come from. So after they tastings of wine that were not explained at all the tour was over! The guide was not that knowledgeable about the wines. The tour that we attended prior to Beringer was at Castelllo Di Amorosa. That winery while more costly was 100% better. Our guide was extremely knowledgeably about all of the wines! Save your money and don't go to Beringer Winery.

Olga R.

Yelp
I made my reservations Online, as soon as you walk in they ask you to see if you have reservations we did the Legacy Wine tasting tour. As soon as we walked in the lady was rude and not interested on our business, she just said go upstairs and your tour guide will be there, I had a question and she said asked your your guide but with a rude manner, her customer service was a 1... We went upstairs and were lost along with other people. I feel like she could of explain it better where to go or that they gathered a group then start the tour. Basically you go upstairs there's a seating area and you wait there for a group to start the tour. Our tour guides were Charlie and Erik , ERIK IS DEFINITELY A 5 STAR at customer service tour guide, he was knowledgeable, friendly and didn't mind us asking questions. They give you a tour of the caves, they explained how they process the wines, they served you 2 drinks while the walking tour, then they reserve a table for your party and give you red wines, water and for like $40 you can add a charcuterie board and you get to keep your board. Highly recommended if you love red wines, they don't offer sweet wines. Great to hangout with friends and chat with them while wine tasting. Definitely don't bring kids! They will get bored..

Kevin D.

Yelp
We had an exceptional tasting recently on the Veranda at the Rhine House. Our hostess Hanna was lovely and took excellent care of us. She acknowledge she was a relatively new hire but was very knowledgable but also personable which is just what we like in a tasting experience. It's one of the oldest and busiest wineries in the valley, so it definitely is busy and not an entry level tasting experience which is what we really enjoyed. The grounds are beautiful and you can take a nice stroll through the property if you prefer as an alternative to a traditional sit down tasting.

Terri N.

Yelp
Using the priority wine pass, I found they have the Sip and Stroll offer and it's 2 for 1 with the pass. We arrived about 4 PM on Monday. It was surprisingly quiet, which was to our advantage. We both got a glass of wine and strolled their beautiful grounds. It was quiet and relaxing. We were free to wander the grounds, gift shop and part of the manor. Had we wanted a second glass, the refill was only $12/glass. Considering the extravagant tasting fees at most wineries, this was inexpensive and relaxing.

Ilerya K.

Yelp
Mike was helping my family for the day and he was very knowledgeable and kind. Everything at the winery is amazing and we enjoyed every moment of our visit there. When we go back we hope we will run into Mike again!

David G.

Yelp
Just got back from the Private Reserve event. Absolutely fantastic event all around. The ground are beautiful and I like you see something different all over the property. Bathrooms are clean along with the property. We were greeted with a choice of glass of wine which was good. We sat down and waited for the event. We were served with some phenomenal appetizer options. Options were goat cheese and a lobster with caviar. Next we went into the tasting room for the event. Waiting was 6 glasses of wine all Private Reserve ranging from 2000 to 2020. 2000 2010 & 2016 if asked was my choice. Ended up going home with some 2010 Private Reserve which was my choice for the night. Next went over to another building and was served more more with really good meet, cheese and fruit options. Sat down for a little bit and had some more great wine that was not served at the private event and dang it was goooood. I for the last part of the evening went over to the outside area and had a four course meal with 6 more wine options to drinks. The food as absolutely fantastic but the Raviolis was the best I have ever had. I would definitely say this is our favorite place to go when we are in the area.

Haylee O.

Yelp
Beautiful property! Tour gave great historical overview of vineyard then reds were served at a table with your reservation party. Jake at the front gave a quick check in then was very helpful with taking photos at the end!

Cinthya G.

Yelp
We visited the winery and is beautiful I loved the wine and the customer service! Definitely will be coming back!

Debbie B.

Yelp
This was one of the most beautiful wineries we've ever visited. Honestly, we weren't overly enthusiastic about trying the wines due to the market saturation of the brand. We were pleasantly surprised at how upscale the experience was. The wines were fantastic! We love complex, bold reds and they delivered! We joined so we could experience live music on the weekends and "sip and stroll" for a glass of wine as you meander the beautiful gardens and architecture. Order the charcuterie, you get to keep the board. Nicole & Ed took great care of our crew. Excited to return!

Evelyn V.

Yelp
As a first time Napa wine visitor wine tasting all I can say this was the best wine experience tasting ! The customer service , the attention and experience OVERALL. Jesus was our tour guide and made it so amazing And special . I will recommend this to anyone and will be coming back. This is a must ! Beautiful place and so welcoming over all.

Amanda E.

Yelp
Wonderful wine with an excellent tour experience! Booked a week in advance the the "Legacy Tasting and Tour", which included a tour through the original caves that were some of the earliest in the Napa region. Our wine tour guide did an excellent job going over the history and the tour was set up so well. Started with an introductory pour of Chardonnay and then entered the tunnels. In the tunnels we got another pour of a red blend. Then after the caves we were seated for the remaining tasting. The seating was done very well and everyone in our tour group had an assigned table for their group all done in advance. We tasted 4 more wines at the table. All the wines are only available at the winery and not ones you find in stores. The wines were great and the wine tour guides did really well on explaining the history every step of the way. This tour was highly organized and relaxed and I would definitely recommend this experience!

Yelp
We took my in-laws to Beringer last year (they are not local and live out of state). They purchased wine to bring home and were extended our membership discount. We should only have one (our) credit card saved under our membership account, which has been charged dozens of times prior/since our visit with them in 2023. We visited Beringer on Saturday, 2/3 and picked up our club shipment as well as purchased a few additional bottles. My mother in law called us on 2/10 mentioning she received a charge from Beringer on 2/3. Beringer somehow saved her credit card to our account and charged her card, unbeknownst to us on 2/3. Extremely embarrassed, I quickly called Beringer on Saturday, 2/10 and asked for them to refund her immediately, and also asked that they delete her card from our membership account and re-charge the correct card on file. They created a case and told me they would call me back on Monday, 2/12. It is now Wednesday, 2/14 and I haven't heard back. My MIL has tried calling as well and has had no luck getting the issue remedied. I am not one to leave many negative Yelp reviews but Beringer's customer service is HORRIBLE and has not improved AT ALL! We belong to 7 other wineries and the service received here is hands down the worst of them all. Please have someone contact me ASAP to remedy the issue on hand. Thank you!

Miguel R.

Yelp
We had Jesus as our guide and I tell you; he was fenomenal and explained all the history of the vineyard exceptionally.

Yelp
We love the tastings at Beringer. Great wines. Beautiful setting. Get a Charcuterie platter, it's reasonably Priced and you get to keep the board as a souvenir.

Yelp
What's up: We really wanted to check this place out but we didn't make a reservation ahead of time. We stopped by earlier in the day to see if we would be allowed in without one and the staff told us to come by later to check for availability. We did just that and were able to get in! Parking: Parking was plentiful in their lot. But it was towards the end of the day. Environment: Masks are required. Reservations are also required to enter. We lucked out and they told us they had availability. The line to pay for the self guided tour was a bit long but David, the staff member who poured our glasses of wine, told us we could go ahead and explore as long as we promised to come back and pay when we exit. So nice of him! What was ordered: Discover Beringer for $30 per person. RSVP ahead of time as spots may be limited. You get 1 glass of wine that you can take with you to walk the grounds - Cabernet Sauvignon Yay/Nay/Meh: Yay. Overall, the grounds were pretty and there were plenty of QR codes to scan that described things to us along the self guided tour. David was pretty cool for letting us go ahead on our discovery tour without waiting. And we did come back towards the end to make our payments, but we were a bit turned off at the lady who was standing guard to make sure we didn't run off. It was almost like she expected us to do just that. I wasn't a fan of the wine but I did like that we got to walk and drink at the same time. Credit cards are accepted.

Yelp
Beringer Winery is absolutely gorgeous. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. Jake and Lisa at check in were very friendly and helpful. Truly made our check-in and experience here great. I highly recommend this winery!!

Yelp
We booked a tour that was about $60. I would call it a mini tour. They did take us into the caves and share some history. We were a larger group than I expected about 18 of us. Then we sat down for our tasting at the bar area. I personally wasn't a fan of the wines or the larger group. The building is beautiful and you are allowed to stroll around after. The service was fine, especially for a large group.

Yelp
Brianna was amazing. She hosted us at the legacy tasting and was absolutely fantastic. I highly recommend this beautiful winery and definitely go see Brianna if possible, she made this experience incredible!!

Yelp
Great Wine Cave Tour. Our host Keeley was fantastic, very knowledgeable, and friendly. The grounds surpassed most botanical gardens and the old mansion was grand. Oh! And the estate wines were delightful.

Yelp
What a dreamy place! When we arrived we were a little early for our reservation so we went to use the restrooms and came back for our experience to begin. We started with David who talked to us about what we already like before giving us a glass to take with us as we enjoyed the property. We were directed to take a self guided tour and did that! It was great exploring the caves and taking pictures. We were ready for our tasting and went to the wrong place first but were directed to the correct location. Unfortunately, there was some kind of miscommunication when we checked in between David and the woman who gave us our stickers. We should have gone straight to the tasting. We were offered a refund because they weren't going to be able to take care of us because we had spent so much time exploring the property- big oops! Thankfully Jose came to save the day and Chuck took AMAZING care of us. The tasting was the best of our time in wine country. There were lots of laughs, we all learned a few things, and bottles were purchased. Could have been a disappointment caused by miscommunication- but it wasn't! Just make sure you are checked in under the correct kind of tasting reservation and you'll hopefully have a great experience!

Yelp
We LOVED Brianna! She was SO knowledgeable and AWESOME! She made our first experience at Beringer so memorable and we really appreciated her. Beringer is GREAT! If you're looking for wine tasting in Saint Helena, this is the place to go! The red wine is PHENOMENAL! 10/10!!!

Yelp
Love the sip and stroll experience, wine collection and gift shop. Plenty of space to hang out and enjoy with family and friends, with good wine tasting, only ask is more vegetarian food on the menu.
