A friend reserved an "igloo" for our group. This is a current tread I hope does continue, it creates a nice intimate space like a private enclosed porch. Berkley Common does a particularly nice job with the igloo and patio space, invitingly lite and fire pits. I did feel bad for the servers having to run in and out though. Taylor was wonderful, great service.
The menu is short but there is enough variety, note that it is vegetarian and vegan friendly. That said, they participate in one of my least favorite treads: calling veg dishes a form of meat. I see no point in calling cauliflower "wings" or "steak". Are you trying to trick a child into eating this? Do a good job with the ingredients and let them be what they are. [End rant.]
Our group did drinks and shared apps. Their holiday cocktail was bright and festive. We also ordered chicken lemongrass potstickers, the carrots and sweet potato fries. The first two were good, though my friend did not like the pot stickers, I think the lemongrass threw her off. The sweet potato fries were phenomenal, especially as they did come with honey mustard (much preferred to have a paired sauce and not the table ketchup). A big bowl, dressed with a sticky, lightly sweet sauce and topped with crushed pistachios. Worth a visit just for the fries.
Berkley Common is a bit on the pricey side, though the portion size is good. The igloo has to be reserved and there is a $200 reservation fee, which is completely understandable, that is put towards your order. Our group spent the amount, I'm not sure if you need to spend that amount or if you just get the rest back.
