I've been a regular here for almost two years and I've had wonderful service that kept me coming back, but this morning made me not want to return. I understand Mother's day is a very busy day for brunch places, so I was not upset with the wait times or crowds and prepared for the long waits.
Unfortunately, after we were seated, we got our orders taken 10 minutes later and watched as for the next 30 minutes 3 separate tables sat down, ate their food, and left or were finishing up. We had let the owner know that we had been skipped and had to leave soon, but we were told to be patient and that they were busy. We waited as long as we could for about 40 minutes, but I had to leave for work with no food. We told our server we had to leave and as soon as we did, it was if our food was magically ready. I believe our food was waiting in the window and no one delivered it to us or made sure we got our food. We got it boxed and told the owner what happened, but she said it was busy and we still had to pay full price for our semi old food in to-go containers. Our server seemed nice and newer, so I don't hold this against her, but after the interaction with the owner, I don't want to return. I had to send my mother home with a to-go box of food that we couldn't share together. I will be telling my friends not to return and we'll find another place to become our regular brunch spot.
