We stopped by Berries on Thursday night and enjoyed a nice meal in a relaxed, friendly environment. The burger and quesadilla were served perfect! Friday night we returned and were seated in the backroom (where they had a retractable roof which they opened, letting in sunshine and a fresh breeze). Our server Tony was the best. In fact all the staff were friendly and professional. Highly recommended for a relaxing night out.

Went for breakfast and everything was delish! Super family and group-friendly with plenty of seating and easy parking in the back. The food, coffee, and drinks were all on point, and the staff was incredibly friendly. Easy location to get to—will definitely be back!

Went here for dinner while in Miami to catch a cruise. I had the mozzarella cheese sticks with the Margherita pizza. My wife had the crab cakes and shrimp & chicken pasta. My sister in law had the lentil & sausage soup and chicken quesadilla. My 5 year old son had the chicken tenders with jasmine rice. Our server Rivers was absolutely amazing. He checked on us regularly and ensured that we had everything that we needed. It was a very nice experience with plenty of great menu options. The food was amazing!

Staying in a hotel right around the corner and popped in for some to-go food. omg - the chimichanga wrap came with a side salad, and couldn't finish it. really, really tasty the bar tender was pretty busy, yet still very attentive. she got our order in immediately and checked in on us while we waited.

Berries in The Grove is a true gem! Every visit feels like a treat — from the moment you walk in, the warm and welcoming ambiance sets the tone for a perfect experience. The menu offers an incredible variety of healthy and delicious options that make it easy to eat well without sacrificing flavor. Their happy hour is one of the best around, offering great deals in a relaxed, lively atmosphere. The customer service is consistently top-notch; the staff is friendly, attentive, and genuinely makes you feel at home. Whether you're there for brunch, dinner, or just to unwind with drinks, Berries delivers every time. If you’re looking for a place in Coconut Grove that combines great food, a vibrant yet cozy setting, and exceptional service, Berries in The Grove is it. Highly recommended!

My husband and I enjoy coming here for brunch every now and then — it's usually a great experience. Unfortunately, today was a different story. There was a private party in the back, and we were told that was the reason for the delays. We waited over 40 minutes and never received our food. While we understand that events can make things busier, the restaurant should still be prepared and properly staffed to serve all guests in a timely manner. We had a prior commitment and had to leave without eating, which was incredibly frustrating — and we still didn’t make it on time. Really disappointed with how things were handled today. The owner and whoever manages the restaurant need to do better at planning and staffing so that regular guests aren’t left behind.

I had not been here in at least 15 years! This place is GREAT! The food...delicious. The staff- amazing! Happy Hour Saturday afternoon and the bar is open air. It is really nice when a place can keep its vibe and offerings as intact as Berries has over the years. If I lived closer, I'd be there all the time. This place is family friendly and can make you feel that South Florida, laid back, cold beer afternoon Saturday vibe with your cool bartender vibe, immediately.

My daughter birthday celebration was held here. Lena, the Manager has been very accommodating from the very beginning. The assisting staff, especially Maria was extremely helpful and polite throughout the event. We had a great experience.

Yelp
We typically come here for brunch on the weekends; however, we decided to go for 4th of July dinner. The restaurant was not too busy at the time that we arrived. We sat at a high top and enjoyed a bit of a breeze thanks to their AC and open air area. Rivers was our server and recommended some tasty options. He was attentive and made sure that our drinks were never empty. We shared the steak quesadilla and I was very surprised at how yummy this dish was. We also shared a burger and upgraded to truffle fries. Everything was delicious and hot. I will definitely return for lunch or dinner after this experience. Thank you Rivers for making our night so great.

Yelp
The food and service was great. I had the chicken sandwich. The servers and manager were really friendly!

Yelp
After eons of driving by everytime we come to the grove we finally made time to have brunch in berries and I must say we were satisfied. The food took a while to come out but that's okay we had a caprese salad while we waited. Dog friendly outdoor section and we will be back with our dog hehe. I ordered the steak and eggs with a side of chocolate chip pancakes and they were good (I also asked for A1 steak sauce). They're very accommodating here

Yelp
Solid choice of food, burgers, salads, quesadilla and much more. Comfortable open area by the bar and large back room. Great staff and nice decor.

Yelp
I went with my daughter and got some soup and some tacos that I believe were on special. We ordered pork but got chicken. We were short on time so just ate them. I would go back again for another try, but wasn't impressed. They did have easy and free parking--a big plus in the Grove.

Yelp
Berries in the Grove is always a great hit. Food is fresh and delicious: doesn't disappoint. Customer service is great. I love the open concept. Each time we go we bring our fur babies with us to enjoy an outing together. Keep an eye out for their weekly specials. Sign up for their birthday reward as well!

Yelp
I've never had a pizza like this, it was spectacular, we also ordered the salmon and the oxtail reminded me of the one my mom used to make. You can't go wrong with Berries In The Grove.

Yelp
This place is my go-to. Doesn't matter which meal or even just for drinks, this is a local hangout that delivers. I enjoy hanging out at the bar, fun place to meet other locals. The bartenders are great. Summer is awesome!

Yelp
Loved this place. Casual restaurant with a bar. Locals hang out. It has good parking in the back. The service was good. Our drinks came fast and so did the good. I had the Eggs Benedict with home potatoes. It was very good. My husband had the omelette with home potatoes and a slice of bread. He definitely loves it and was asking to come back as we were leaving the restaurant. Please come and enjoy this local spot

Yelp
This was my first visit to Berries and I really liked it. First; the menu. Extensive and creative choices. Next; the ambiance. Felt like your favorite neighborhood bar with protected outdoor tables. Finally; service. Here's where Berries lost a star. Service was fairly slow and I didn't think it was all that busy. Friendly enough but we so rarely saw our server, I'm not sure I would have recognized him. Don't let that stop you, I'm going back. I ordered the Teriyaki chicken wrap which was ginormous and delicious. I had to use knife and fork it was that large. Plus I took half home (which I had to share) so a $16 meal served three!

Yelp
Talk about EXCELLENT SERVICE! I was on an extremely tight schedule this morning, but I still wanted to sit down and eat. I only had 10m so I called ahead and the manager (Nina) answered. I told her about my situation and she took my order over the phone. By the time I got there, my table was ready, my drink was waiting for me, and my food came out fresh out of the kitchen within a minute! Not only was I extremely appreciative and grateful that everything was timed perfectly.. but everything I ordered was DELICIOUS! I had Chicken & French Toast (an alternative if you're not a fan of the traditional Chicken & Waffles) and per Nina's recommendation the Cafe con Leche Milkshake which was SO GOOD! The server that took care of me when I got there (Stephanie) was super sweet and made sure I was taken care off the entire time. With the weather being cold, they had the awning down and it made the temperature inside a lot more comfortable. Thank you Berries team for a truly wonderful experience! I will DEFINITELY be back!

Yelp
This restaurant is located in Coconut Grove. There is parking in the back of the restaurant. It's an inside/outside restaurant. The outside portion is covered on top just in case it rains. In the middle of the restaurant there is like a greenhouse vibe. Super cute for brunch and larger groups. I had the create your own omelette; which I added spinach, goat cheese and feta cheese. It was delicious. The home fries were more like room temperature, didn't feel hot and fresh. The portion for the bacon was good, a total of 4 pieces. Our server was very nice. They forgot my friends brioche bun for her sandwich, so she had regular bread with it. Our server realized afterwards, but my friend was already halfway through with it. They have different smoothies. I personally had an iced latte, it was okay. Overall, I liked the atmosphere. It's a nice spot to go catch up with a friend or go on a breakfast date with your significant other.

Yelp
I used to really like this place back in the day but lately I find it to be mid. Granted, Berries is a Coconut Grove staple and I will never stop coming here. The restaurant is indoor/outdoor and has a very relaxed feel to it. The size of the restaurant lends itself to large parties and its location opens itself to everyone from leisure wearing locals to business men in suits and more. I've ordered everything from pasta, to cheeseburgers to brunch items. Everything is pretty good, nothing out of this world but not bad. I went recently for brunch and after going back and forth on what to order decided on the eggs Benedict. I was a little disappointed to find two measly English muffins with a dried up piece of Canadian bacon and dried out pouched egg. The hollandaise sauce was so scarce I'm not sure they even added that part. Sad. I ordered sausage links that came a decent while after receiving my meal. Our glasses of water were rarely refilled and any extras ordered like sauce or extra pita for our hummus was never brought to us. My son's pizza, unlike my meal, was actually really really delicious and I was jealous I hadn't ordered the same! The French fries from my husbands sandwich were also seasoned perfectly and fresh. This place is a 50/50. You may get good food but lack service or you get good drinks and food that lacks. You'll never have a 10/10 experience but you also won't stop coming here if you live in the area.

Yelp
Free parking always a plus in this area! There is a reason why this establishment has grown through the years, a nice menu with something for everyone. Appetizers, pizzas, entrees, sandwiches, desserts, cocktails and more! The Branzino was a nice sized portion and cooked to perfection with a nice taste similar to Francese . The chicken parmigiana was also very good, large portion of chicken and pasta as well. Fast, friendly service, indoor and outdoor seating and a bar a as well. They also have a nice brunch menu. They have multiple dining rooms, so plenty of seating. We will be back! They also have in house private room catering, daily specials and nice happy hour.

Yelp
RJ and Joe .. amazing bartenders especially at closing time.. they whipped up a frosty Lychee martini.. delish.. they both are great with the remaining customers finishing up their drinks .. not easy to want to be sweet and make a great drink at 10 min till closing time .. lol I'm addicted to their Lychee Martinis!!! Love this spot ...

Yelp
It was ok. Not as good a selection as Greenstreet but about 1/2 the cost. Service was fine. Ambiance is nice. I sat outside.

Larry J.

Yelp
This was a good place to eat. I enjoyed the atmosphere it was lively and the dining area was open to the street on a beautiful sunny day in MIA. The server was very polite!
google avatar

Yelp
The food is always fresh. I have eaten there at least 2 dozen times. The wraps and salads are always fresh and great. The paninis are fantastic! Breakfast is abundant. The service is always on point and the atmosphere is very relaxed.

Yelp
They truly exceeded my expectations. The food was incredible tasty, everything we ordered in the table was very good and the attention was great. We had a reservation and we were immediately seated. We didn't get to try the Brunch menu but I can't wait to go back and try it! NO COMPLAINTS!!!

Yelp
We were staying around the corner and Yelped "breakfast" and this place popped up - first breakfast in FLA - cute seating area, very nice server, yummy food - we were so hungry after flying in late the night before - we had French toast and Eggs Benedict And Pancake Platter and House Breakfast - all eggs were cooked to perfection, the Hollandaise tasted good and didn't split, everything was devoured in record time - I think we surprised the waiter, lol - we were very happy with this first food interaction in Florida- wish you were here in CA - we'd visit you often!

Yelp
Love the chill vibe. Expansive people pleasing menu. I always bring out of towners here when they need a break from the rest of crazy Miami.

Yelp
Good food. Nice ambiance. Excellent service. I liked the ribs and the flatbread. Good wine by the glass. A casual place to enjoy in the Grove.

Yelp
A lot bigger than I expected! The sauce was amazing. I'm not a big green beans or carrot person but these were actually yummy! You won't regret ordering this

Yelp
I was few weeks ago to a Disco night and the music was great but the food and service was horrible, going out we encounter this lady called Summer , she works there and she was like a summer breeze, she introduced us to Steve the owner, a real gentleman and business men, they invited us the next day to have dinner, , what a nice experience, the service, the Mahi Maki was amazing, the fried calamari and the burger delicious. Summer, Steve and the young boy I think his name is Miguel were giving us a royal service, I love fine dinning , of course this is not a fancy place but I don't remember to have such of good service like I had experienced that night, that is like a family place, everybody knows each other and with there " Summer" breeze will be a n absolutely great experience . Kudos to you

Yelp
I saw some mixed reviews and was hesitant to check out this place but it turned out to be quite delightful. Went here for Sunday brunch and it was a group of 18 of us. It was my first time here and the service was great for everyone of us. Food came out as expected for a massive group. I will say that this location is great for large groups. The menu has good option to try: I had the Belgium waffle with eggs and side of toast which were very good. If your looking for a nice chill spot for brunch this is the place to go. No loud music just good vibes with the people you came with.

Yelp
Nice place for a meal. Friendly, attentive service personnel. Food was cooked just right, I had the weekly, Thursday night special T-bone steak. It was delicious. Followed by a very large piece of chocolate cake. Lots of happy people at the bar and great air conditioning!

Yelp
Food is not good eggs Benedict lacked so much flavor and my avocado toast was honestly depressing

Yelp
Summary: We were a fairly numerous party, so a bit of a delay was to be expected. the food was nice, but nothing remarkable... they did seem to be avoiding at all costs to refill our coffees, though. The wine desert with berries was interesting. The Experience: After or Saturday morning run, we decided to try Berries. The menu is fairly standard... basically the same Saturday morning breakfasts: eggs Benedict, omelets, pancakes... I ordered the Western Omelet. it was fairly good. The coffee wasn't bad either, though I felt like the staff was going out of its way to avoid refilling it.... by the way: the servers are friendly enough, though you can feel they may be a bit understaffed (however, the comment about the coffee refills stands, you can identify exactly when they are busy and when they are avoiding eye contact). someone on our party got a Berries Merlot to share... I wouldn't say I loved it, but it was certainly interesting and I would recommend you try it... maybe just not the full thing for one person because it is good, but it gets tiresome after a few bites. Overall it it's not a bad place (pet friendly!) for a Saturday Morning outing.

Yelp
Great service. Staff was very friendly and responsive. Our meals were delicious and filling. The space was family friendly and provided comfort for the children and adults. We had a great time. The lemon caper sauce was so good I asked for a second serving of it. The mahi mahi was cooked nicely it had the right amount of moistness to it esp the blackened. Even the carrots in the side item was so good. Truffle fries were yummy too. I will always order the crab cake and the chicken wing appetizer was spot on.

Yelp
This is a cute spot, I went with my mother for brunch the other day. The food is really good, but the drinks are made very weak. We ordered a shot of patron to dump into her margarita after tasting it it was incredibly cold and they did not close the patio shades, but it was our fault for sitting outside. I would definitely return when the weather is warmer!

Yelp
We came here for a wedding rehearsal and we had a great time! We got the room blocked off for the party as well. Restrooms were really clean No parking really we got a ticket LOL The food was pretty good as well. I got a steak and my bf got chicken. Mashed potatoes and pasta and the Caesar salad was bomb The bartenders were great as well. I never been to a wedding rehearsal so I didn't know what to expect but please tip the servers and bartenders they have a little cup for the tips ! Also please put your QR code so we can tip you , thank you fabulous bartenders !!

Sonia V.

Yelp
Berries is always a go to place for me... whether its for a delicious breakfast or a work meeting you can never go wrong with the food because it is always on point and the menu really has a-lot to choose from... and the parking is never an issue and this may very well be the only place in Miami with plenty of great free parking! While i've been going to Berries forever i had to take the time to write a review this time because on top of everything else always being great last night we had the best customer service ever "Augustine" was our waiter and he was second to none!!! On top of everything, super pleasant and really made our dinning experience AWESOME ....
google avatar

Miquel N.

Yelp
I'm confused as to why this was so highly rated and recommended? Food was mediocre at best. The pancakes were more like shingles. They literally melted a piece of wrapped cheese on my eggs. What? Haha. No flavor. Poorly cooked. The waiter didn't keep our drinks full. Was not attentive at all. I would not recommend.

Chantel R.

Yelp
Crab cakes and goat cheese chicken wrap were both fantastic! Tried the frozen mango drink and it was so yummy with bits of mango. Service and atmosphere were great. Well done!

Yelp
Berries in the grove is a neighborhood staple. It's a charming establishment with a large open air bar, as well as spacious dining rooms. While the lighting and high ceilings make for a fancy dining experience the feeling is quite casual. There are TVs everywhere, which was perfect because we got there right on time for Sunday Night Football. While I think boyfriend and I intended to have a pizza (they're supposed to be pretty great) we had a change of plans once we saw the specials. Appetizer, we went with the tuna tataki and it was ok. The tuna was cut extremely thick for a tataki and the ponzu sauce could have had some more flavor. Entrees, I ordered the lentil soup with chorizo and decided to wait to order more once I had the soup. I am happy about that choice as the soup was small but hearty. My bf had the 3 cheese calzone with tomato sauce instead of pesto. This dish was pretty tasty, but very heavy on the cheese. Calzone crust was excellent, not too thick and nice and crispy. We are not drinkers, I had a water and he had a lemonade. Straws are paper and mine was sealed on one side which was pretty wasteful but well intentioned. Waiter was attentive even tho we were a small party and not ordering much. We will certainly be back.

Yelp
AMAZING! I am from California in town for a wedding. It's been a long day and I am beyond grateful for this space. The vibes are so fun and chill. The shrimp scampi and margaritas are on point. Wellington was our server and he was phenomenal! Highly recommend this space and will definitely be back for more during my stay!

Erika S.

Yelp
What a let down. Used to be an amazing place to come and enjoy a meal. Now, it seems they don't care anymore about people. I ordered for my 9 year old a cheeseburger from the kids menu. The meal was not a burger it was a slider. The manager came and said it was like that for years. Just bc it's been like that years doesn't make it right. The meals we all ordered were missing condiments. There was a complete lack of attention. It's disappointing to say the least.

Yelp
This place has great breakfast! My fiancé and I came before we headed to the airport to fly home. We were seated immediately and greeted by the server within less than a minute. We were even introduced to the owner who stopped to speak with us and made sure we were being taken care of. The speed of service was great! The food was also so good! My fiancé had the pancake platter and it was huge! I had the breakfast sandwich and the brioche bun held such good flavor. The chicken apple sausage was also cooked well and flavorful. Overall we were satisfied and out within an hour. Whenever l am back in town, I will for sure come back again!!

Yelp
The food is excellent and the service is perfect as well. Agustin was awesome. We will request him on our next visit

Yelp
Long time joint, a Grove staple. Great for breakfast. It's indoors, but kinda outdoors at the same time... This you gotta see.. Anyway great food, American/Latin flavor, great bar, good parking.

Yelp
Great experience! first time came with my sister. Ordered a local craft beer it was nice and cold, Greek salad with chicken delicious fresh, on point. But their crowning glory was the tiramisu must have so delicious very fresh mascarpone was soft will be back! There's definitely a few more things I wanted to try, their pizza is known to be really good and sandwiches. Yum!

Yelp
Berries does it for me every time. I've been here a few times before but this time I had to leave a 5 star review. The food was excellent and I had such a lovely time chatting with the Ms. Summer with her 5-star service. She also recommended the pasta in the photos and when I tell you that it's delicious and I will absolutely return for the dish again. I also had some of the best margaritas I've had in Dade. It's not a fancy spot but the food does all the talking, the fish dip was amazing as well. We were told everything is made in-house and boy does it make a difference. I am tempted to get dinner there tonight actually. So I've only been here for breakfast and brunch but lunch did not disappoint, so I'm wondering what dinner is like now. You can't go wrong here, you will love it!
google avatar

Yelp
This is the second time we've been here and the service was the same. One of us gets our meal 10-15 minutes later we have to track down a server for the other half. The flatbread was good and the omelet was just ok. It's more of a bar/ mixed drinks place.
