Very yummy! You order at the counter and then they bring the food to you. Our meals were great and they had a few gluten free options and almond/oat milk for latte's! It was great.

Google
I was seeking a local breakfast spot near MSP and found Berry Sweet Kitchen online. The reviews don't lie, folks. The bacon pancakes--something I wouldn't have first considered--were exceptional--light, fluffy, with just the right amount of house-smoked bacon. After you drizzle some syrup on those cakes, take a bite and just enjoy the culinary voyage. Plus, John's a friendly presence at the register. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in the Twin Cities.

Food was excellent. Eggs Benedict was perfect. French toast was fantastic but the cinnamon roll was most and delicious. I'm a code snob and their coffee is amazing. I think that at less than 2% of restraunts.

Omg the owners are so cheap. I give it two stars because the poor host was just the messenger. I always order biscuits and gravy and I was excited to try it here but the gravy was cold and the biscuit (the consistency was completely off too) Soo I asked if I can please order something else. In which case they made me a veggie omelet and the host said “unfortunately the owner says we can’t give you the toast that comes with it because the biscuits and gravy were 2 dollars more in which case I would need to pay an additional 3$ for toast that comes with it” the host even felt bad. If I didn’t already pay for my food my girl and I woulda been long gone. Love supporting local businesses, but be very aware of this place, oh and btw my 18$ was DISGUSTING! 🤢

My sister in law and brother like their pancakes here. We came here on New Years Day right before closing at 2:00pm. When you enter you order at the register first then take a seat and they serve your food. My sister in law got a hot chocolate and I got a regular latte, the drinks are HUGE servings and I asked for a to go cup. I didn’t know they had special lattes and with alcohol but it was too late for me to switch. I was reading reviews and their eggs Benedict looked good and I got it with fruit, my sister in law got the strawberries and cream pancakes. My brother got the biscuit with gravy, eggs, and hash browns. And we wanted something sweet so the worker recommended the banana French toast. Which was surprisingly really good, the bananas were like caramelized and fried and the French toast was really Yummy. It looks like there were 2 dining sides and both booth and table seating. They serve alcohol here and they have a private parking lot and street parking.

A hidden gem! Make sure you go to the right entrance. We had the berry crepes, highly recommend and a side of homemade sausage. Drinks are mainly self service and you pay before you eat so it's easy to get up and go.

Google
Excellent brunch spot located in Minneapolis, not overly busy like most spots for breakfast in the twin cities. This was my first time trying Berry Sweet Kitchen and it was a great experience! When you first arrive, you immediately stand in line to order from the counter and they give you a number then you take a seat anywhere in the restaurant. I met here around 10 AM with two other people and the food was exceptional, I got a breakfast burrito and my other friends got the stuffed french toast, everything was so good. Very picturesque however I did not take any photos except for this complimentary small blueberry scone that we were given at the end of our meal. The staff was very friendly and they had a sizable menu, I will definitely be back!

Google
I’ve been coming here for almost 10 years now and this will always be my favorite brunch place in the city. The chilaquiles here are the best I’ve had & the berry crepes, breakfast bowl, and Cuban breakfast are also some of my favs. Don’t bother going anywhere else for brunch.

Yelp
Oh my this food is great ! Traditional American breakfast foods with a twist of Mexican flare options. Their pork for their morning dishes are superb ! They have multiple different flavors of mimosas (not bottomless) but a good healthy portion! All of the food that came out looked absolutely divine! And they are super quick !!! Oh and take home a tart if you are there after Tuesday 11 am. Scrumptious!

Yelp
Unassuming location in a mini strip mall, understated and very casual atmosphere, you order at the counter and they give you a number. Coffee and water are self serve. Decently priced with efficient and observant staff. This was my second time in. My partner had the chilaquiles (best he's yet had in MN!) and I had the berry crepes. Presentation and flavor are the name of the game here and boy do they ever deliver!!!! I've loved everything I've had!

Yelp
Do I like this place enough that I came here by myself when my husband said he wasn't hungry and didn't want to go? Yes.

Yelp
This place is such a gem! Being newer to this neighborhood, we stumbled upon this spot and quickly became obsessed! It has a small parking lot (which is super convenient), otherwise, there is an abundance of street parking. The restaurant itself is spacious with a variety of seating options. You have to pay at the counter to order. The food is so good, so flavorful and comes with larger portions. I highly recommend their French toast - so fluffy and the perfect amount of sweet! The Cuban breakfast was EVERYTHING! This has become my new go to breakfast spot! Highly recommend for lover of all breakfast foods :)

Yelp
We love berry sweet kitchen!! Definitely the best hangover food in this neighborhood. The decor leaves something to be desired but tbh it's almost just part of the neighborhood vibe. Make sure you get a baked good - they sell out quick.

Christy G.

Yelp
Blueberry scone and everything omelette were outstanding! Don't let the appearance of the outside scare you off! Delicious!

Yelp
Decided to finally check this place out. Love that they have a parking lot! Cute place- nothing fancy, small town diner feel which is perfect. You order at the counter so be ready to make some big decisions fast. French toast and pancakes were delicious. My over medium eggs were perfectly cooked. Bacon is on the thick side and was ok. Even my Bloody Mary came with a slice! Service was fine- the food is definitely the draw. Will certainly come back again!

Yelp
Went for breakfast and all dishes were delicious. Breakfast burrito was large and well flavored, carful with the homemade sauce, it packs some heat. Breakfast bowls look small, but have a lot of food in them. Crepes were also terrific and the jam was amazing.

Yelp
A no frills kind of restaurant where you order at the counter and seat yourself. Once your good is ready then the stay brings it out to your table and then it's self service for the rest of the meal. The food was ok. Nothing too spectacular. I love that you get a big serving of fresh fruits when there's an option to select. Good bacon. Pricing is a little high but everything is rising in cost so it's appropriate even though there's no table service.
google avatar

Angus W.

Yelp
Relaxed vibe, you order your food at the counter and then grab a table. Everything we've tried there has been excellent, baked goods, french toast, waffles, omelettes, mimosa's.... We try to make it here when we're in town

Yelp
Wonderful food!!! Filling enough space to post now..... Assfghjlñlzxxcbnnmqwertyyiopvvnkinkoiuh coconut deserve juicio trampa

Yelp
The main cashier was not nice and helpful. The food was ok. I wanted to grab a cinnamon roll at the end to go and they wanted me to wait in line again when we already had a table.

Yelp
I love exploring small neighborhood joints! THE FOOD: Thx to other Yelpers for posting photos since it made it easy for me to choose the french toast with thick bacon slices- omg so good! I also ordered a side of fresh fruit & put that on top of my dish which had the benefit of making my meal look & taste better. Feel free to copy me & you won't be disappointed. It's a little pricy for what you get but I was happy with what I ordered. The only thing I was a little sad about is the coffee situation. Unfortunately I've been spoiled by my husband's drip coffee using freshly ground coffee at home so the coffee in the large carafe where you pour yourself w/ no mention of what kind of coffee fell a little short. Also, heads up that they only have tea from packets. I got a scone to go & enjoyed that later in the day. It was fluffy, decent size & tasted good. THE AMBIANCE: I scheduled a work mtg here without checking this place out 1st. The pros is that there's a free parking lot & it was quiet inside so conducive to a conversation. The cons is that the interior seems to need some updating. Has the vibe of a cafe up north that hasn't changed for a long time. The seat/table options were tough too since the only tables with good sunlight were high tables. It looked like one whole section was closed off that might have been the most conducive for my mtg since it had low tables & light. It also smelled a little like cleaning products. Yay for using cleaning products but not the thing I want to be smelling so strongly during my meal. THE SERVICE: Really nice guy took our order at the counter. I liked how down to earth he seemed. When I mentioned it was my 1st time here, he was very welcoming. The food came out in decent time & was delivered to our table so no complaints with the service here. OVERALL: I'll def be back for the food & if I need somewhere really casual. The food is a little spendy for breakfast food (was ~$60 for two people if you include tip) but you get decent sized portions & you're supporting a neighborhood restaurant. I'm looking forward to trying some savory breakfast items, lunch options & other baked goods next time I'm back. Will prolly always get the bacon here regardless!

Yelp
Abundant parking space, street parking, bike stations with a wheelchair ramp welcoming patrons to this spacious neighborhood breakfast/brunch spot by Nokomis area. Got to try their Banana French Toast as suggested by the owner's t-shirt sign; Lol. Not disappointed with the choice. Add the savory pick of grande breakfast burrito, and with the extra large portions, we went home very satisfied.

Yelp
I would say I had very mixed feelings about this spot, being fully transparent... Parking was fine, they had a large lot which was mostly full. Inside, we ordered at the counter and seated ourselves. The restaurant was pretty busy mid week so we were excited to try after hearing about it on social media. Unfortunately, the ambiance was quite unpleasant, they had some repair men in on that morning which made the place reek of gasoline for the last part of our meal. Our main concerns had to do with the prices though, it was a little disappointing after spending nearly $17 for the crepes and $16 on the breakfast burrito to get something that looked like it was coming from a dining hall. To add some perspective, a side of bacon would have cost nearly $8 and a side of fruit $5. The crepes were alright but cold and the burrito was bland, both were dishes that I've paid less for and enjoyed more at other places in the TC. I wanted to love it and support a family business but will not revisit. I would just like to see better quality overall if I am paying those kinds of prices.

Yelp
We were on our way to lake pelican and, decided to stop for breakfast here. I am so happy we found this place on Yelp, we order over the counter, they brought the food to the table for us, service was fast and the food was delicious. If you are in there make sure to make a stop here.

Yelp

Yelp
GO BIG OR GO HOME!! I am compelled to write this review because BECAUSE!! Lol! ITS THAT GOOD! I've only been here for about 20 minutes and I'm astounded at how amazing everything is! Everything is homemade, FRESH! Absolutely delicious! The Mimosa! The BANANA FRENCH TOAST!whew chile! The sauce!! Every time I take a bite, I fall in love over again! Strawberry n crème pancakes!!! Real cream! The Jucy Lucy Burger! Oozing cheesy Jucy goodness Man oh man! Huge portions Excellent service Such a great experience To the restaurant owner: EXCELLENT JOB GUYS! From top to bottom! Yelp
4.5 food was excellent! We ordered the banana French toast and the breakfast burrito and both were very good! Not the most exciting venues but the food made for a good experience.

Yelp
Trying to find a local spot for breakfast; the picture of the fresh berry crepe caught my attention. Could this be as good as it looked? Fresh fruit can be hard to come by in the Midwest during the winter, however the strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, and blackberries were ripe and delicious. To accompany my crepe was the strawberry mimosa. Did I need a carafe? Probably not but I wasn't sure how hard I was going to brunch . Staff was super friendly and the food was definitely worth the short trip from our hotel in Edina. Highly recommend!!!

Clara S.

Yelp
Food was pretty good but seems expensive for what you get. I like that you take a table number and they bring you your food. Ordered a mocha and it was full to the brim and spilling over onto the saucer, definitely needed to set it down and sip from it. We had eggs Benedict and a salmon and asparagus egg scramble. The biscuit for the eggs Benedict wasn't my favorite but the hollandaise sauce was very tasty.

Yelp
I stumbled on this restaurant in Yelp and had an errand to run in Bloomington, so I decided to give it a shot. From the outside, it doesn't look like much, but that's usually where you can get the best breakfasts in my experience. We placed our order at the counter and our food and drinks were brought out very quickly. They have four flavors of mimosas, so we decided to mix-and-match. The everything omelette was incredible. I was also thrilled that they don't up charge for a fruit side, and that the fruit included fresh berries and not just melon and pineapple! My SO said his food was delicious and told me I had to try the pancakes. I did, and he wasn't joking, they were absolute perfection. The service was friendly, we took some pastries to go, and left with very full bellies and a nice little mimosa buzz.

Yelp
Great pancakes! Kids love this place and service is always on point. Definitely try this place out

Jessica G.

Yelp
Great food! This was our first time here. Delicious cinnamon roll, blueberry pancakes, kids chocolate chip pancakes, bacon, eggs, hashbrowns, and fruit. Will definitely be back!

Ruby S.

Yelp
Stopped in on my daughter's recommendation while in town. Ordered bacon and French toast with coffee. The homemade bacon strips were big and flavorful. The French toast was excellent! Honestly the best I've ever had! Thick and fluffy with a slight crisp on the outside. Such a hidden gem of a place. Nice staff. Cannot wait to come back and try the rest of the menu.
google avatar

Parker G.

Yelp
Lovely food and nice relaxing seating. Pretty hands off on service which was great for the morning honestly. Thought about those crepes all day after.
google avatar

Hopey B.

Yelp
Cute place, good food, LOVED the bacon. Could be completely satisfied with just a plate full bacon with a side of French toast next time . Also ordered eggs Benedict but no photo. Yummy as well.

Jen D.

Yelp
I wonderful experience at Berry Sweet kitchen. The food was delicious. The drinks were superb and well crafted met the owners amazing people. Restaurant has character we ate breakfast, and the food was the best we've had in a long time berry sweet French toast, banana, French, toast, eggs, and hashbrowns all so so good !

Keesha M.

Yelp
The food was ok. Just ok; but for the prices I fully expected to be wowed and I wasn't. The portions are big, but the seasonings and flavor profiles are seriously lacking. The decor looks dusty and unclean and I am still trying to figure out why food this basic and bland costs so much. IHOP is better. IHOP. But they are nice.
google avatar

Donald R.

Yelp
The food was amazing with a nice plate presentation!!Also the service was great. We came here for a quick breakfast and everything was amazing. It's a nice little cozy place. The banana French toast is a must and the breakfast bowl was an A+.
google avatar

John R.

Yelp
Had the French toast w/ berries and a side of bacon.. although I like my bacon a bit more crispier, I stil left nothing on my plate . Service was good but the food was amazing and well worth the wait.

Caleb B.

Yelp
Quiet and quick. Service was great. Staff is very friendly. Food tasted ok. It's giving a mom and pop shop feel.
google avatar

Amina M.

Yelp
The French toast was so soft and tasty and the egg Benedict's were very well made with a fluffy biscuit with the perfect texture. The presentation was beautiful and the orange juice was so fresh. 10/10 would come again
google avatar

Emily W.

Yelp
The food was just fine. Inside was not very clean and muggy, which ruined our appetite.

Lisa H.

Yelp
The crepes were fantastic! Cute little diner, worth the drive! I would definitely go back the next time I visit Mpls.

Noelle J.

Yelp
I selected Berry Sweet Kitchen for Sunday Brunch with friends based on the reviews on Yelp. I must say it was a dissapointing experience. I ordered the egg benedicts and a small mimosa. The eggs benedict resembled something out of Madame Tussauds wax museum exhibits. The sauce was waxy , sticky and flavorless. The biscuit was dry and the bacon was only an illusion. The hashbrown were blah and the mimosa glass was sticky to the touch. The table we selected had not been cleaned and the seats were dirty with crumbs from the previous patrons. While the staff was friendly, the experience was expensive and did not live up to the reviews.
google avatar

Shannon W.

Yelp
Great home made food. They even make their own bacon! Get there early because there will be a line out the door for their amazingly fluffy waffles. Service is friendly and efficient. Don't expect a dining area out of Architectural Digest, or Instagram, for that matter. It's all about the food here.
google avatar

Seema K.

Yelp
Soooo good. Yes it's order at the counter and take a seat, so don't expect someone at your beck and call. But the food is so good. We were there right at opening time on a Sunday so we beat the crowds. I had the banana French toast and it is so good. Sweet caramel sauce that is divine forms the base on top of which are four perfect slices of French toast. The caramelized bananas are to die for but there are also other fruit on the plate. My favorite French toast plate hands down. The Mexican omelette is substantial and has a nice spicy kick to it. It's stuffed with chorizo and veggies. Good but the French toast is what I will remember!
google avatar

Kristen C.

Yelp
The banana French toast is the greatest version of this I have ever eaten. I would highly recommend this place for breakfast.

Mark N.

Yelp
Just got off a plane and googled a great breakfast place and we scored! My breakfast beef bowl was great and my husbands steak and eggs was awesome!
google avatar

Jordan S.

Yelp
A little expensive but large portions. Pancakes were soft and fluffy. Steak was good to be a breakfast spot.
google avatar

Tristan S.

Yelp
The food here completely slaps. The service from the guy at the register leaves alot to be desired. But besides that I like this little homie spot. Minneapolis has been great so far. I am a huge fan on the Mom and Pops vibes so naturally this place stood put to me. Definitely do your taste buds a favor and try this place out if you're in town.
google avatar

Kellie S.

Yelp
This is a cute breakfast spot. My boyfriend and I were visiting from out-of-State and this place was recommended and close to our place of stay. The line was long, but we got seated quickly! The food was delicious!
google avatar

Adam R.

Yelp
the best French toast I've ever had!!! this place is incredible if you are in Minneapolis. Service is great as well as ambiance.
google avatar

Brian P.

Yelp
The food is good here but expect to pay a premium. We spent $65 with tip on breakfast for two. One eggs benedict, one Mexican omelette, and two orange juices. And the only table service we received was them bringing the food to our table.

Kate R.

Yelp
I stopped in here because it was close to the airport and had good reviews. The reviews did not lie! This is a super cute mom and pop and all of the food was really good. The fruit tart was especially amazing, it may have been one of the best I've had. I absolutely would return here!

Catherine B.

Yelp
Blueberry Scones are delicious! Served with some sweet cream (Devonshire??) and fruit.
google avatar

Ariel B.

Yelp
100% satisfied customer! Went there for a late breakfast early lunch and got these along with eggs and hash browns, best food I've had in a while!
google avatar

Meghan A.

Yelp
Counter-serve spot that gets busy fast for weekend brunch. Their homemade whipped cream is heaven. Highly recommend the berry crepes! YUM!
