"For a long time, chef Bessem Ben Abdallah worked in the shadow of great chefs (eg Michel Del Burgo, Marc Meneau and Pierre Gagnaire). In this town house with its terrace shaded by plane trees and a fountain, he gets to give full rein to his talent. He brings a deft touch to a delicate Mediterranean brand of cuisine that is personal to him, as in his catch of the day, artichoke purée, spinach with parmesan, courgettes, green beans, a yuzu-kombava broth, tagetes and lovage. He is assisted by a talented pastry chef. It's worth noting that the chef serves his own selection of Tunisian single-estate olive oil and raises chickens so as to have access to fresh, quality eggs! We had a wonderful evening tonight at Bessem. The setting, the staff and the food were all excellent. I would say understated elegance. It was relaxing and refreshing and overall a lovely way to spend a few hours on our anniversary. Value for money in the fine dining arena. N’hésitez pas!

Came with family for a few quiet birthday celebration. Staff was extremely kind and professional, knew how to maneuver my indecisive menu pick with ease (you pick viande or poisson, the rest follows). Exquisite menu of 6 excluding the amuse bouche, was surprised by the main being chicken but not disappointed by its well rounded flavors. Extra points for them overhearing our belated birthday celebration and them surprising us with a little spectacle of candles and photos.

An oasis with outstanding food and service outside of the crazy inner city of Cannes. This place is in the Michelin guide but doesnt have a star yet. It should. I have been to several michelin starred restaurants that were very nice but don't even come close to the quality and invention in food, the perfection of service and the peaceful setting of Bessem. The garden setting is unbelievably calming, the tasting menu has multiple courses that are truly outstanding, the wine pairings were inventive and perfect with the food. The sommelier and waiting staff were attentive, warm and enthusiastic. I cannot recommend this place more highly. Far better than anything in central Cannes.

Beautiful setting and wonderful chef that made us feel welcomed from the moment we stepped inside. Loved the food and the creativity. I can't think of a one small negative detail so I'll probably end this review by saying that we will definitely be back here!

This restaurant is exceptional. The food, the wine, the service and attention to detail is just what every great restaurant should aspire to. It is faultless. Impeccable. Far exceeds what I've come to expect at 1 Michelin-star restaurants, and better than many of the 2-star places outside France. It's not just good food, but truly creative cooking. Service was warm, consistent, and shows great attention to details. I think they are clearly aiming high, and I hope their efforts can be rewarded soon. Would love to come back if in Cannes again.
