"Some say the westside Best Baguette is, well, the best, but nothing beats the novelty of ordering drive-thru banh mi at the original eastside location. Either way, this spot turns out classic examples of the form, including the popular grilled lemongrass pork, as well as a few offerings — one featuring fatty, soft-cooked bacon — that could be categorized as breakfast sandwiches. Best Baguette is open for takeout, delivery, and drive-thru." - Krista Garcia

Google
We all enjoyed our sandwiches, Chinese sausages, and bobas! They all tasted great. There was a constant line. But we did not wait long to order. Food was fresh and place was clean.

Google
I would give 5 stars for faster service. This Banh Mie hits the spot.

Google
Straight up easy 5 for this one. Nice straightforward layout. Great menu that I will enjoy tasting around, started with the flagship sandwich, but many choices to try there. They have an extensive drink menu especially the boba tea. I look forward to trying the steam buns. Come see for yourself. The sandwich is reasonably priced and I found them very satisfying, very fresh! The pate was really earthy, I enjoyed that but might turn some people off. If so, just ask questions first. Will definitely be back.

Google
My favorite place for curry chicken and rice. It has more of the south east Asian spice mix in their curry. It is mild which is perfect for people like myself who want curry but cannot handle the heat. My husband loves their avocado baguette with durian smoothie. This place bakes their own bread, fresh off the oven!

Google
Had my first Bahn Mi and it was delicious. We allhad different sandwiches and they were all tasty. Prices were very reasonable and our order was ready on time. Oh andceach sandwich was clearly marked on the wrapper - thank you!

Lisa DeGraaf

Google
The staff was very friendly and helped me pick out the grilled pork banh mi. I also had the 3 piece dim sum. Everything was amazing! On top of that the prices were amazing with a soda I paid less than $9. I would highly recommend checking out this sandwich shop. They are very quick so they are great for those that are in a hurry. I can't wait to visit again and try another sandwich or I might get a steamed bun.

Google
Went there for the banh mi sandwiches and iced Vietnamese coffee. The baguette was excellent. The pork and fillings were tasty but could have used more of them. The atmosphere is a store front bakery/sandwich shop with seating. Great for lunch.

Josh Davis

Google
Breakfast croissants are so good. The Bahn Mi could use a little more filling.

Vivian N.

Yelp
Owners and employees are lovely and attentive. Banh mis are really good and have lots of fillings. My parents got the beef stew and chicken curry with baguette and they said "10/10". :)

Judy L.

Yelp
This Best Baguette location is my favorite banh mi place in Beaverton. The service and ambiance is good. The banh mi were absolutely delicious. The bread was perfectly crispy, and the fillings were flavorful and fresh. They are also very generous with their vietnamese mayo and you have the option of grabbing extra as a side! So worth the price!

Deborah W.

Yelp
Came here for a quick lunch with a friend. You order with the cashier and food came out very quickly. I ordered a #1 Special Banh mih and it was so good. The baguette was fresh and the highlight was definitely the pate which was so creamy and really brought all the items together. The banh mih itself was also quite large in quantity. All in all, a solid place to grab a nice lunch.

Yelp
FAVORITE BAHN MI SPOT I'm so passionate about this, yet to find a better place for bahn mi in the Portland Metro (although I'm open to finding one). I got the signature sandwich delivered for lunch today, but their grilled pork and chicken are also great options. I like the ratio of bread, protein, veggies, and sauce here. Not to mention, their baguettes are huge. For $7 you get over a foot long sammie - suchhh a good deal. Best baguette is quick, affordable, and the perfect option for lunch.

Nicol L.

Yelp
I'm on a mission to find the best bánh mì in Portland and this is it. It's taken 8 different restaurants across several months. I had almost lost all hope that I'd ever find any as good as back home, so I'd ordered Best Baguette on a whim after hearing people rave about it on Reddit. I had their special delivered to my door before a 6 hour roadtrip. I didn't even take a photo before I started eating on the drive, but quickly realized my mistake so here is half of the sandwich. This has alll the fillings, they didn't skimp on any veggies or meat. They also have Vietnamese mayo!!!! You don't realize how much you miss that until you go several restaurants without it! AND pate. Best Baguette had the trifecta and I'll recommend them to everyone now.

Yelp
This is a great lunch spot with some of the best banh mi in town. A huge menu of different sandwich options - go with the grilled pork or #1 original if you want something more authentic. There are also some rice bowls, steamed pork buns and a shelf with bakery items. There is an equally large menu of bubble teas and drinks. The Vietnamese iced coffee is pre-made, but good. Comes in small or large. There is also a fridge with drinks and typical fountain drinks. You order and pay at the counter. Service is good and fast. Expect to pay 5 cents if you want a paper bag. I think many people do take-out, but there is a decent sized area with seating as well. Multiple tables for 2-4 ppl each. Plenty of parking with a private lot shared with other stores. I'll definitely be back!

Yelp
go to vietnamese comfort food or quick bite #32 lemongrass chicken #5 grilled beef #13 cured pork & pork roll #7 saigon bacon

Yelp
This place is awesome and cheap. 6.25 for a great pork bahn mi. Bread is about perfect. Went at noon and it was a long wait aka good and fresh. Could have used more meat and jalapeños, but in no way is that a complaint. I'll ask for extra next time and gladly pay the fee

Joshua S.

Yelp
Worst service ever. They ignore me every time I'm picking up an online order. They will literally just look past me and I have to speak up. My order is always just sitting there and I just want to pick up. Every time I come here, I'm upset with the service. I'll keep coming for the sandwiches but I really hate having to interact with the staff because they just ignore me and makes me feel bad any time I come in.

Corinne R.

Yelp
Got the #1 hoping for a classic bahn m,i but accidentally got a regular sub with assorted pork, pate and ham inside. Apparently bahn mi just means sandwich? While would've loved a warm traditional bahn mi, this was not bad! Only 6.75 for a foot long. I have to say I haven't found a bakery or sandwich shop with fresh baked baguettes. Truly the best baguettes. The house made mayo and carrots and cilantro make the sub.

Shanna C.

Yelp
Came here to grab a quick bite because we were waiting for a different place to open up. So happy we stumbled upon this place! We got the special banh Mi and the grilled pork banh Mi, both were delicious. The baguette is perfectly crusty on the outside, pickled vegetables are fresh, and the meat is very well-seasoned. We also got a large iced milk coffee. The coffee is definitely strong here, as it should be! It is sweet but without overpowering the coffee taste. We also got a large meatball bun. It's huge! We could only finish half after each having a sandwich. This bun is only available thurs-Sun, highly recommend trying it. It is definitely homemade and not frozen. Overall very happy we came here and will definitely be coming back. Probably one of the best banh Mi I've had because of the baguette!

Yelp
Short: One of my ultimate faves for Banh Mi, must go and eat! Visited week of Sept 16th 2022. I am a regular here when I am in the area. I go every single time I can. I do get the same Banh Mi sandwich, each and every single time. I am basing my review on my food solely. I was not entirely happy with the customer service experience, but I am assuming the person was new to working here and food service. Because they had a hard time listening and finding things on the menu. I didn't appreciate having to repeat myself over and over. As I did not ask any questions, I simply placed my order as usual. On top of which, I was given a "look" for selecting not to tip her. [The food & price]: I get the Green Onion Tofu Banh Mi, and I am biased in saying this is my FAVORITE sandwich on the planet. When I first started coming, it was $4.35, and now it is [$6.45]. The banh mi is on a freshly baked french baguette, it has house mayo [similar to japanese mayo, a bit more creamy, different taste], pickled radish & carrots, and jalapeno slices. I really appreciate all vegetables vertically cut. Along with tofu with glass noodles and green onion. It is simple yet complex and so flavorful! They will ask you if you would like the veggies inside your sandwich or not, and/or if no veggies. They also have a handful of traditional Vietnamese asian dessert and French desserts as well. I definitely would like to try it! They also sell other bakery items and baguettes. Along with smoothies, boba tea, can selection of drinks, coffees, and italian soda. Overall, definitely great quality and tasting banh mi, one of my absolute faves! Just need to tweak some aspects and then definitely earning of 5 full stars from me!

Darren O.

Yelp
Haven't been here in a while- used to cone once a week when I worked near by. So good- the only change is a bigger menu. I always get 2 #6- meatball Bahn Mi. Still my favorite! Beaverton is lucky to have them here!

Yvonne G.

Yelp
Ample parking. Tables are clean. Easy to order. Even with a line of people, they are Quick. Sandwiches are tastey. ordered a #1 & #5.

Louise G.

Yelp
Pretty consistent sandwiches. Can't go wrong with any of them. Usually I one of the meat baguettes but this time I tried the beef stew. It's more like beef soup. It had big chunks of meat and a couple carrots. The only thing is that it was super hot and served in a styrofoam bowl so I probably ingested some chemicals there. Wish they put it on a regular bowl.

Jason C.

Yelp
Just came for a light meal. Staff were friendly and service was fast. I was bummed they didn't have the meatball steamed bun. I thought about getting some things from the bakery area but then couldn't figure out exactly what they were and in those moments of contemplation decided I probably didn't need that many baked goods. The salad rolls were really tasty and had good flavor. The roast pork bun was just okay. I felt like the color seemed a bit unnatural. The red bean bun was just sweet enough.

Jesy B.

Yelp
10 years seems like a good time for an update. This place still rocks. I come here enough that half the staff has my order rung up before I open my mouth. #3, veggies in, no jalapenos and extra house mayo! I usually add the chip/drink combo to round it out. Prices have gone up but you can still get a full meal for under $9. It is always clean and plenty of seating available. Best really suits this place!

Dara J.

Yelp
Good and authentic ban mi. So good, want more! Ordered combo, pork, and vegetarian! So good I want more!

Andrew P.

Yelp
Craving a light yet satisfying meal - this is the place to go too !! The best baguette special is awesome - I like mine with extra jalapeño , I say to each his own Love the flan too - need a little sweet after the jalapeño burn

Charlie T.

Yelp
A classic place to get a banh mi out on the westside. My go to is usually the #1 sandwich, which is the typical bang mi. This time, I also chose to try their beef stew and also rice bowl with pork. The stew was good and perfect when dipping the baguette in it. The pork rice bowl was ok (rice could be a bit softer), and the banh mi is good as usual.

Maia H.

Yelp
this is one of our household's favorite restaurants! Their food is delicious. Beef stew with rice, chicken curry, and some of the best banh mi (Vietnamese sandwiches) around; grilled pork, Saigon bacon, meatball, chicken. Plus delicious drinks like Thai iced tea, Vietnamese coffee, fresh squeezed orange juice, coconut juice, and a wide range of bubble tea choices.

Avid C.

Yelp
We had a big group of 20 people and I called ahead of time to make sure they can accommodate us, Russell was very friendly and hospitable! Best boba in town in my opinion.

Brian S.

Yelp
Solid banh mi. They're a little sparse on the meat but they make a tasty sandwich with good crusty bread.

Erika G.

Yelp
Just came back from a Mexico trip and was craving some Asian food. Got Best Baguette delivered and it was pretty successful. Coming from LA though, it's just not comparable to the banh mi there. FOOD: I ordered a #1 (The Classic Banh Mi), #4 (Grilled Pork Banh Mi) & the steamed bbq pork bun. Honestly, I was most impressed by the bun and would order more of those next time. It was so fluffy and the pork was not salty which I appreciated. The banh mi's were good, but not great. It satisfied the craving but wasn't the best I've ever had. PRICE: Super affordable for what you get. Food & Beverages: 3 Price Point: 4 Overall Experience: 3.5

William N.

Yelp
Great places. Got the chicken curry soup and a #5 sandwich . Toned the heat down by pulling a few jalapeños off. Hits the spot every time

Tom P.

Yelp
Bánh mì used to be good and decent portions of meat and veggie. Now sparsely meat , veggies and skinnier sandwich and more expensive. This used to be my favorite place to go for bánh mì but not anymore.

Geoffrey C.

Yelp
Got the BBQ Pork Banh Mi on a weekday lunch. There was a short line but my sandwich came quick. Flavor was there and the baguette didn't scratch the roof of my mouth, thank goodness. I did feel they pork was a little bit on the lighter side. Maybe it was because it all slid down the sandwich. Definitely want to try their other ones though.

Cong N.

Yelp
Food was okay but service was not good. I ordered 4 sandwiches. Three were correct and one was wrong. I called and they didn't seem to believe me. They finally pass me to someone who was willing to remake the sandwich and told me to make sure I bring the wrong sandwich back. As if they didn't believe me. Not sure if they plan to resell it or what. I had to go 20 minutes one way out of my way just to exchange the sandwich. Never going back.

Sophia Z.

Yelp
Best Baguette? More like ok baguette. Expected more from this place. Texture of the bread was kind of off too. I got #12 Asian Vegetable banh mi and the bf got #1 Best Baguette special. We both thought it was ok and probably wouldn't go back for the banh mi.

Brittany B.

Yelp
Very good! First, A+ for the service. I was a new customer today and asked the girl working if she had any recommendations for vegetarian options. Many times if I ask this at places I don't get much of an answer, but it was SO nice today to get a really nice response, thoroughly explaining what the options were and her opinion on each. I ended up choosing the #12 "Asian vegetable" banh mi. It had a really nice fried tofu that was seasoned so well. The vegetables on it were incredibly fresh & the bread was delicious. My son ordered the pork banh mi and he really enjoyed it. We each got bubble tea, which was of course amazing. I would highly recommend!! It's so nice they have a drive thru because sometimes you want to run through something quickly, but you don't want hot greasy fast food. This is such a nice FRESH option with unique flavors.

Patrick E.

Yelp
Picked up a couple Bahn Mi sandwiches for lunch. Service was prompt, ordered the Best Baguette Special and Teriyaki Chicken sandwiches. Both sandwiches were good, the vegetables were fresh, the protein flavorful and the baguettes were crusty on the outside and soft inside, just as they should be.

Jackie M.

Yelp
Today was my second visit. My first was a few years ago and I wasn't super impressed, but also not disappointed. Today was a let down. I ordered a couple tofu banh mis. The were just totally bland and a little oily, but still edible, especially because I was very hungry. I also ordered an eclair, which looked gorgeous. However, looks aren't everything. It was dry and tasted very stale, like it had been sitting for days. My husband took a bite and wouldn't even take another. This from a man who will literally give himself food poisoning by eating things of questionable age rather than waste. Totally disappointed. But on the upside, I saved a lot of calories. Their social distancing set up was good, so that's a positive.

Shane W.

Yelp
We got the shrimp baguette and the asian vegetable baguette. The bread itself was delicious, but we would have preferred if it was a little bit more crusty. The filling for both were tasty, but there needed to be a bit more of it. The bbq pork steam bun was missing the bbq flavor. Coffee was nice and strong, and not as sweet as we imagined. Overall, it was good, but nothing mind blowing.

Ha T.

Yelp
I wouldn't call their sandwiches "banh mi" exactly. Maybe they took inspiration from banh mi, then adjusted it to fit the taste of Oregonians. That's probably why they call it a generic "Asian sandwich" instead. The bread itself is more like a European baguette, which is denser and more doughy than the Vietnamese version. The pickle is mostly carrots that needed more time in the brine. I didn't get a lot of flavor from the meat (my Vietnamese meatball has no marinade). I do like their mayo, so that's 1 out of 4. It's not bad, as long as you manage your expectation and don't compare. I might try the French or the croissant sandwich next.

Brad P.

Yelp
These are some of the best Bahn mi sandwiches that I have had in a while and have been back several times since I found them. The bread is great and the ratios are on point. My girlfriend likes lots of pate so we get extra, but it isn't totally necessary. Great spot and are usually pretty quick with the orders.

Jonathan L.

Yelp
This place is great for the price! Such cheap and quick bites. I got the grilled pork sandwich which was perfect. The bread is ideal, crunchy on the outside and chewy inside. The pickled veggies are great but I would have prefered the jalapenos to be sliced thinner and cilantro more consistent across the sandwich. I ordered a jasmine milk tea but it wasnt all that great. The flavor was off and just not something I would get again

Nathaniel J B.

Yelp
Unfortunately with the new climate after Pandemic pricing versus value or taste has taken a huge hit but I'm some very rare cases....Some have stuck with old value system or barometers? Fortunately this is one of those snd at most cases only $5.95 value value value for an amazing array of Bhan -Mi sandwiches to choose from your sure you kilo be both the quality, taste and enjoy the value!!! So much do I get four each visit!!! They also have fresh backed bread and desert goodies so be sure to check this spot out and most of all enjoy!!!

Taylor H.

Yelp
Alright I'm sorry but i have to lower my review score. I used to love eating here and ordering from here cause the portions were a good amount for the price. One thing of yellow curry used to fill this bowl to the brim but it's been getting lower while charging more and more! Please don't shrink the amount while increasing the price.

Moureen C.

Yelp
I love these sandwiches! And the French coffee is great! The boba looks great though I'm not a fan in general.

Neil M.

Yelp
Good food and great service at reasonable prices. Recommend for sure. Looks like they have a good variety of food, and pastries. Lots of drinks as well.

Soua V.

Yelp
I was super excited to try this place given that the name of the restaurant is "best". I was very disappointed at the two baguette sandwiches I got. The baguette was very dense and not flaky like a baguette rolled. The sandwich had very little meat and a lot of pickled carrots and daikon. The juice from the pickled vegetables soaked into the bread, so it made the sandwich very soggy. The sandwich was loaded with their mayonnaise sauces which over powered the taste qualities of the sandwich. I was only able to eat a third of the sandwich before I started having a hard time just chewing the sandwich. The combination of the pickled vegetables and juice with the layered of mayonnaise made it super hard to chew and swallow. Not a good combination for me. I can't say this is a place I will go back to. The one thing I did like was their Chinese sausage meat bun

A E.

Yelp
Great bahn mi and even better salad rolls. Accommodating to vegetarians also so that's always nice :)

Blake M.

Yelp
It's great. The veggies are fresh. The bread is nice and crunchy. It's just an all around favorite in this family.

Amancia K.

Yelp
We've been coming here for over 10 years. The quality and service have deteriorated over the last year. After horrible service today, my autistic son picked up our drinks and said "thank you sir" and the employee clearly heard him and totally ignored him. I said excuse me, he thanked you and you could have acknowledged him. He laughed and said "my bad". Current staff has ruined this location. This is at least the fifth time the experience has been bad and we won't ever be back.

Bryan N.

Yelp
Good sandwiches but smaller portions and more expensive than they use to be. What's up with $1.75 for adding 3 tiny slices of avocado!?

David M.

Yelp
Oh man this place is LEGIT. Visiting from LA, had a hankering for some banh mi and this hit the spot! And they make their own baguettes on site! The steamed buns are great and their boba is awesome. Definitely will be back!!

Irene M.

Yelp
This was usually my go-to for something quick and easy during my busy work day. I try not to go out due to the increase in prices, but love to also support a local business when I do go out. I was pretty disappointed with some of the orders I received today. I once loved their avocado smoothie, it tasted great and their Boba was always cooked perfectly. I opted out on Boba today and was extremely dissatisfied with my avocado smoothie. There was no avocado taste, all I could tatse was the sugar (syrup and condensed milk). So sad as they had the best avocado smoothies before. The sandwich I got was sad as the meat was almost non-existent. The bread tasted great though! And the salad rolls were ok. The dipping sauce was in the salty side, but if I were looking for something quick I would get the salad rolls again. Or I may go over next door to get salad rolls at Pho King. Not sure that I would go back any time soon as their quality on the items I purchased today have declined.

Gorgeous L.

Yelp
Best sandwiches and best boba tea ever! I was raised on smoothie boba tea instead of milk tea, so I might be biased, but I do recommend trying out their smoothies! Best ones are taro, honey lavender, but they really have an endless amount of flavors. The sandwiches are amazing too! Trust me, the homemade mayo is so good SOO SO SO good. You will not be disappointed!

Patrick W.

Yelp
They do a good job with takeout orders and provide ample spacing during pickup. But once it gets crowded it's smart to just stay in the previous dining area until they call out your order. Salad rolls are wonderful here at a bargain price! But sometimes early in the morning they aren't fully prepared yet.
