Came here this morning for a chicken biscuit to eat in and also a cinnamon roll to go. The restaurant has a nice feel, was clean, and the service was fast and relatively friendly. The chicken biscuit was really good, with the right amount of crispiness and seasoning, likely black pepper. The cinnamon roll with frosting was also excellent. They also do online orders and catering, and you can also get free water, although you have to ask for a glass. Overall a great place for breakfast or a snack!

[This is NOT an Artificial Intelligence AI generated review but a real world Chuck Whigham review.] I was working in Springfield, Virginia on a 2017 Honda Accord and I asked our awesome customer where is a good local place for a quick bite to eat. He immediately recommended Best Buns Bakery & Burgers which was less than 3.0 miles away. He recommended that I try their Honey Fried Chicken Sandwich. Keila was my customer service team member and she was friendly, professional, courteous, and extremely helpful. I wound up ordering the Honey Fried Chicken Sandwich and two 20 ounce bottles of Dr. Pepper. Best Buns Bakery & Burgers is a simple, casual, and cozy eatery with great food, drinks, and beverages. They have both indoor and outdoor seating.l and you can have a delicious comfort food in a relaxing environment. I devoured the Honey Chicken Sandwich which was very tasty and paired well with the Dr. Peppers. The establishment is definitely a popular place with the locals and it can get very busy in there and so arrive early and you won't be disappointed! They have very clean and well maintained restrooms with soap, hot water, and hand towels. In short, the comfort food and awesome customer service made for a great dinning experience! I will definitely be returning here when I am in the area to try some of their other menu items.

Google
I'm pleasantly surprised. I went for the biscuits and homefires, but ended up getting so much more. The Danish, cinnamon rolls, ozzie rolls and my lord that delicious burger... they do everything so well. The staff is friendly and vibes are great, eating indoor or patio style you wont be disappointed. The smell of fresh pastries and breads makes everything worth it.

You could taste the love in all the food here! My wife and I tried breakfast sandwiches here; she got the fried chicken biscuit and I got the egg, cheese, and sausage sandwich. I also had a really good ice coffee. We’ll be coming back!

Google
My family and I have visited Best Buns on all of our trips to the DMV coming from NYC. Everything that we have ordered has been delicious. Ollie rolls, sausage, egg and cheese sandwich/biscuit, tomato & mozzarella sandwich, turkey club, vanilla cupcakes, banana chocolate chip muffin, and cappuccino - all delicious, def recommended. Parking is easy, you can dine in, the store and bathroom are always clean, beautiful decorations and the service is exceptional.

Google
Not bad but you just you can not get any of the bakery item heated. Pretty strange for a $4.95 cinnamon roll. I would suggest that they display more of the bakery items so it feels more like a bakery than a place selling paper coffee cups or bottle soda.

Google
I literally have NO WORDS! If you've never been here..ask yourself WHY? I'm here for breakfast as well as lunch and its my favorite GO TO! Coffee..fresh pastries OR at lunch..a burger:) The breads and pastries are baked fresh throughout the day! Staff is always friendly! Good amount of seating and very comfortable atmosphere!

Google
I love this place. I go here for FRESH made from scratch food. Today was bacon, egg and cheese croissant and some treats for my coworkers!

Yelp
Came here for lunch on 10/23. I had a chocolate chip and walnut cookie and a Waldorf salad. Both were amazing. The blue cheese crumbles in the salad was an amazing contrast to the sweetness of the grapes, cranberries and apples. I wouldn't be surprised if their ranch is home made. I would buy it by the bottle if I could. The inside is fairly small and cramped in terms of seating but it's pretty on brand for a coffee shop. They also have outdoor seats. Service was fast and friendly, I definitely want to come back and try their burgers.

Yelp
Finally got my hands on the Honey Fried Chicken Biscuit and it did not disappoint. I recommend ordering online since mornings are always packed. I usually come here for my Ozzie Roll fix, but this might be my new favorite. The Honey Fried Chicken Biscuit was bigger than expected, and the honey wasn't just drizzled on top. It soaked into the biscuit, creating the perfect balance with the crispy chicken. The sauce lover in me wishes there was a creamy dipping sauce on the side, but ketchup does the trick. There is both indoor and outdoor seating, the service is always friendly, and everything is fresh and quick to grab on the go.

Yelp
Busy on weekends but if you time it right -- this is your takeaway spot. Limited (small group) cafeteria style seating offers only so much. Still the food [Great America DC local chain] makes up for that low ability to sit and "brunch". You can get and should get Ozzie rolls and then whatever else you want of course, but those are a given. You can even layer pseudo-healthy on there with the Charleston chicken salad which is the perfect shareable. Great for any weekend rotation. Only downside: they produce a ton of disposable waste at this location serving their customers. Try to recycle what you can.

Yelp
Craving a salad and BBB&B is consistent. I wouldn't expect anything less from an establishment in the GAR line. It smells divine, bakery, sweets, yumminess. The restaurant is festivally (not a word) decorated with holiday music in the background. Patrons were dining in sandwiches and bakery items with a steady from of take-away orders @4:15pm on Monday. I grabbed my old faithful, Charleston chicken salad with double buttermilk salad dressing and opted to pay for a croissant (gonna make a chicken sandwich for lunch tomorrow). Service is always on-point.

Yelp
I have been wanting to try Best Buns for a while and since Mike's was super packed we decided to go here. The staff were really pleasant and the bakery was packed. Our food came from out pretty quick. I ordered the Little Bacon Cheeseburger with fries and it was yummy. I also ordered the Cinnamon Rolls and Cheese Danish. They both were delicious. Can't wait to try more items.

Yelp
The honey butter chicken biscuit is DELICIOUS and I also really liked the English toffee cookie. The vanilla latte was absolutely fine, not bad but nothing to write home about.

Yelp
I have always been curious about this place, so I decided to stop by and try to the honey fried chicken biscuit. I must say that the biscuit was pretty amazing. The biscuit was pretty large and flaky. The chicken was crispy and seasoned well. I was impressed. I also ordered a carrot cake cupcake, it was pretty good as well. It was really busy here, parking wasn't the easiest to me, lots of chaos in the parking lot, you just have to exercise patience. There is plenty of seating inside, the employees were nice. I'm so coming back to try different items.

Yelp
Worth Every Mile - A Biscuit Dream Come True! Let me just start by saying this: driving 45 minutes from White Plains, MD was *totally* worth it! Honestly, I don't mind going the distance for great food--and this spot? Oh man, I'd do it again in a heartbeat. I ordered the honey chicken, egg & cheese biscuit, and *oh my stars*, it was unreal. I even asked for a side of extra honey just for dipping the biscuit--and wow, it was like dipping clouds in sunshine. The biscuit itself? Massive. Like, imagine four McDonald's biscuits all stacked into one glorious beast of breakfast. No joke. The chicken was perfectly fried--crispy on the outside, juicy and seasoned just right on the inside. My egg had that ideal touch of runny yolk (just enough gooeyness!) without being undercooked, and the cheese was melted into everything like it was holding the whole flavor party together. I couldn't even finish the thing--it was *that* big. But trust me, I tried. My wife had the sausage, egg & cheese biscuit and immediately declared it the best biscuit she's *ever* had--and this woman has taken me to some top-tier breakfast joints in North Carolina. This place was right up there, maybe even better. Her sausage patty was cooked to perfection--none of that overcooked hockey puck nonsense some places serve--and the cheese and egg were melty magic all over again. Our daughter went with a cheeseburger (just cheese and ketchup--she keeps it classic), and it looked like something off a commercial--cooked just right. She also tried the chicken salad, which was super fresh and generously portioned. No stingy scoops here! We haven't tried the cupcakes yet (red velvet and vanilla frosted--we've got high hopes), but if the breakfast is any indication, I expect dessert heaven. Even our Yorkiepoo got a treat! We picked up one of the doggie biscuits (not the human kind, obviously), and it was about a third her size. Watching her try to conquer it should be fun to see! We rolled in around 10:45 on a Sunday, and while it wasn't packed, they were clearly staying busy with takeout orders. Still, the wait was super reasonable--about 15 minutes--and the staff was friendly, smiling, and on top of everything. Just good vibes all around. The space was clean, the atmosphere was relaxed, and there's a cute little outdoor seating area with a nice view of the street. Plus, it's tucked right near an Aldi and a mall, so it's easy to find. Bottom line: great food, fair prices, friendly people, and a biscuit that's basically a whole event. We'll definitely be back for the flavor, the chill vibe, and the joy of finding a new favorite breakfast spot. And as always, enjoy your bite!

Yelp
Best Buns Bakery in Springfield and Tysons has completely stolen my heart with one menu item in particular--the Charleston Salad with Spiced Pecans. It's become my weekly ritual when I go into the office once a week: order online, swing by on my commute, and treat myself to what might be the most satisfying salad. Let's talk about this masterpiece. Crispy buttermilk fried chicken that's so flavorful, I've found myself sneaking out a piece and licking my fingers in the car (no shame). It's nestled on a bed of fresh greens, avocado, grape tomatoes, sweet corn, sun-dried cranberries, and perfectly spiced pecans. And that creamy buttermilk herb dressing? Absolute magic. I don't know what's in that chicken batter, but it's pure sorcery. Salads shouldn't be this crave-worthy, and yet... here we are.

Yelp
Located in the Concord Shopping Center, Best Buns also has 2 other locations - Shirlington and in Tysons. I had come here, as the hubs mentioned that he really enjoyed the Honey Fried Chicken Sandwich here he had with some friends - curious enough, we made sure to make a pit stop before going home. The Honey Fried chicken Sandwich came with pickles and Pommerey mustard on a burger bun - the chicken itself is extremely battered and more on the saltier end; I just wished that there was more honey, more pickles, and more mustard, which the hubs agreed, as he had noticed the inconsistency of the preparation - maybe the extra condiments/toppings could be requested on the next visit! Overall, the sandwich was enjoyable, as it was hot and crispy. There was a line, and the wait was about 30 minutes or so - they do call out your name, so you don't really need to hover by the pickup area. The space is more on the smaller end, but they do cram a good number of tables in there; there is some counter seating as well. The tables could be more tended to, as the patrons do not clean up after themselves, and the surface of the tables were dirty and sticky. Plenty of parking in the lot. +inconsistent preparation of items +Honey Fried Chicken Sandwich +dirty tables

Yelp
Pro: Pretty place, wide selection of food Con: Comparatively expensive, long wait, loud and echoy, bad biscuit recipe, and blandish chicken. Two registers, but only one accepts cash. Limited cold beverages, a case of water and limited soda. Everything else is coffee and some tea. Not certain as there is no cold beverage menu. After 15 minutes I got my not-biscuit "chicken-biscuit." Something must have gone dreadfully wrong with the recipe today... It looks like a biscuit but its more like BREAD. Ever been to Cracker Barrel, Chil Fil A, Popeyes, or Bojangles and had a biscuit? That's a biscuit. This is not it. I really hope this is not the norm because I am disappointed. The overall taste is ok but it's such a clash with the bread-biscuit. Maybe over-mixed or they used bread flour instead of self rising. It's like a Red Lobster Cheddar Biscuit consistency... The chicken was also kind of a let down. Not bland but getting there. It's also not a chicken breast but two small chicken tenders. Overall.. I am disappointed and out $6.75 for what must be a recipe mixup. I wanted to try the Rosemary bread chicken sandwich at $13.75 so maybe I will come back, but not for the biscuits.

Yelp
Great American just knows how to make great food, Best Buns is their sandwich spot and it looked like they also bake everything fresh here as well. The sandwich I had was great and the Ice bread that it was on was very good. It seems the most popular sandwich they have on the menu is the chicken biscuit which I didn't get to try but hope to next time The staff is always super nice no matter which GAR I go to

Yelp
I recently had the chance to try Best Buns after hearing amazing reviews about their honey chicken biscuit, and I was extremely impressed! The biscuit itself was huge, fluffy and had a good amount of honey. The chicken was thick, juicy, and had a great crunch. I also ordered a side of their hashbrowns, which were topped with caramelized onions! They were also seasoned very well and had a crisp exterior with a soft inside. What really stood out was the amazing service and the clean, welcoming atmosphere. Literally, everyone was so nice! It was such a welcomed experience early in the morning. Since it is in a shopping center, it has a large parking lot which makes it super convenient to access and everything came out quickly. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, I would definitely return to try their other biscuit offerings.

Yelp
Their cinnamon rolls are the best bakery item that they have in the entire store. I've had one of these a few months ago, and I didn't order it this time around in order to save my stomach from the un-needed calories. Even though they promote this place as a bakery, they really are more like a cafe/ diner. They have an extensive menu of breakfast and lunch sandwiches, as well as, wonderful salads. I ordered the mango chicken salad that had almonds, mango, cranberries, and even grapes! Every tables was taken, and we took two seats at the stand-up bar next to the front window. They don't have actual table service which was fine, and we only needed to wait less than five minutes for our orders.

Yelp
Right next to the gym that I frequent, this place opened up a while ago and now I decided to try out their Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich. It's not the biscuit unfortunately but it's still really good! What can I say about Best Buns Bakery & Burgers? They feature coffee from Starbucks, they have a great pastry selection, breakfast sandwiches, biscuits, salads, and even some alcohol. Ordering is quick and easy and when your order is called you just go straight to the counter to pick it up. Very efficient. The décor is all yellow and blue color coded which feels very retroish but minimal at best. There's tables outside and inside to sit down if you need to do some work or eat that delicious sandwich before heading home; that's what I did. The Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich. It's more sweet to me than spicy, perhaps there was no kick at all but I still enjoyed it. The chicken was freshly fried and the sauce and pickles complimented the sandwich well. I could get this everyday! It is a bit messy to eat, I'd wash my hands after. I also did get fries, they were freshly cut and thinly sliced. Just the way I like it. Lightly sprinkled with salt, this is pretty good. The rolls... if you have ever been to a GAR chain, you know Ozzie's Rolls are always worth it.. and they are no exception here. Freshly fried buns of goodness with the butter that's served, you can't beat it. For fast casual, this is the place to be. I didn't know it was going viral over the Hot Honey Chicken Biscuit, but I think it's worth the hype.

Yelp
Great American restaurants have done it once again! This place is deliciously sinful. Popped into the spot on a random Saturday to check out the chicken biscuit and it was well worth the minute wait. The line was long but moved fast and once we got up to the counter, we were told there were no more biscuits available, but she also shared there was a 30 minute wait for the new batch so we placed our order and sat down. We ordered the sausage egg and cheese biscuit, the egg and honey chicken biscuit and the home fries. These sandwiches are massive! The star was the honey chicken and egg biscuit without question. It was perfectly breaded and the honey or the chicken had this little kick at the end, which was absolutely delightful. Another star of the show was the home fries. I would guesstimate thatthey are skinned, par-boiled & flash fried. Absolutely divine - I have never had home fries or even potatoes cook like that - magnificent. There were nonstop customers coming in and I absolutely see why! This place is a star and when I am craving a delicious and fatty breakfast (because trust me, they spare not a single calorie parentheses this is the spot to go to. Enjoy!

Yelp
Running errands Sunday and found ourselves close enough to Best Buns in Springfield to finally get my hands on a loaf of the Two Raisin Pecan Bread a friend said I should try. I love raisins and pecans, so what's not to love? Well everything. I refuse to believe what I purchased was produced by the same bakery that makes ozzie rolls. Perhaps my expectations were too high, or my aging arms were not up to the task of slicing a real artisanal bread. I will try it again when I'm in the area. We did get a great lunch out of it, even snagged an empty table!
google avatar

Brittney S.

Yelp
I saw this place on social media and was excited when I happened to pass it while running errands today. The line was pretty much out the door, so I made my other stop in the plaza and went back about 30 minutes later, finding a shorter line. It took about 10 minutes to be able to place my order. I went for the honey fried chicken biscuit. Took about another 15 minutes for me to get my sandwich, but the staff and service was great. They were very friendly and professional. The 2 stars are because I received great service, but unfortunately, the sandwich fell flat. The piece of chicken was ok, it was cooked well but lacked seasoning. I also didn't really taste honey, although there seemed to be a lot of it on the biscuit. The biscuit was soggy and almost seemed undercooked/mushy/doughy. I removed 1 half of the biscuit from the sandwich after the first bite, but by the end, I just ate the chicken and threw the rest away. It was just under $7, so I'm at least glad I didn't spend any more on it.
google avatar

Amala S.

Yelp
This place absolutely lives up to the hype. The honey chicken biscuits is the perfect balance of sweet and salty all on a fluffy, buttery biscuit. Whether you get just the honey chicken or honey chicken egg and cheese, anything will hit the spot. And don't skip the home fries because those were just as delicious!
google avatar

Yelp
If you're looking for a yummy treat, I am sure Best Buns won't be beat! Lol I know Best Buns for their wonderful assortment of tasty carbs. Today, we dropped in for a quick breakfast...and yes you can eat a hamburger for breakfast. My husband tried their Honey Chicken Biscuit, which he enjoyed. The biscuit was perfect soft and flaky, also received a stamp of approval from our babygirl. The chicken was a bit bland and could have been better seasoned but overall it was a 6/10. My burger was great. You get to choose your toppings and the bun was soft and crispy on the edges. 9/10. Lattes came quick, maybe about 7minutes earlier than our actual food which took about 15minutes to arrive after order, which was to be expected in the bustling bakery at 10:30 on a holiday weekend. Seating was available but not advised if you are a cleanliness stickler. Not many tables were being wiped (nor are wipes offered) as folks are just trying to snag a table as they become available. We sat on the account of having the little one but between the cramped space and the semi-crumb covered table, it wouldn't have been my first choice. Overall, I'd give this location: 7/10. Drinks: 6/10 Food: 7/10 Service: 7/10 Ambiance: 7/10 Happy eating! T

Yelp
This place is worth the hype. We braved the long line for our order. The place was packed with many folks getting their order to go since there were no more seats. I tried the chicken egg biscuit sandwich. It was delicious. The biscuit was so soft and chicken was so tender. The combination with cheese is such a great quick bite. I'll be back to try the other options on the menu.

Yelp
The only thing negative i can say about this establishment is that there's a slightly long way for food. I do not blame them, there's always a line when I go, so obviously all of us customers are here for the same thing- the food! Can't hold it against someone bc their food is so good you have to wait ten minutes for it, at least not in my opinion. I always wanted to come here after I found out that the Ozzie rolls from Mike's are made by Best Buns Bakery. The Ozzie rolls are amazing, as they always are! I also got a fried chicken, egg and cheese biscuit. It was a risky choice bc usually a biscuit will crumble- and this one did, but not as much as I thought it would have. It was so buttery and delicate at the same time, I almost made myself sick, eating it so fast. My friend got a bacon, egg and cheese bagel, and the bagel was light and airy, so it didn't sit heavy in your gut after eating it. I got a honey and walnut pastry which tastes like baklava, and i freaking love baklava! I didn't even eat this until two days later and it was still fantastic! The oatmeal raisin cookie was beyond all others we've tried, and the triple lemon cupcake... don't get me started! When I say I love lemon and i want my food lemony, I will now specify it must be TRIPLE LEMON bc that was the most perfect extreme lemon concoction I have ever had. Like, upon first bite, ZING! I do think I actually cried out "Wowzers!" At my first taste. We also got the chocolate peanut butter coat, and the pb icing was phenomenal, the cupcake so chocolatey! The espresso cookie was very good, not too sweet, definite espresso flavor, but a bit more mellow than the triple lemon cupcake. I will definitely make it a tradition to go here every time I drive the hour to get to the trader Joe's! Well, either here or Mike's, depending on the time of day! Highly recommend!

Yelp
04/05/25 This has been a long time coming because I have been wanting to get here for years and I finally got here and was everything that I expected. I got the bacon cheeseburger and it was 2 smash burger patties w/ sautéed onions, mushrooms, Mayo and lettuce. The burgers are 2 smash burgers & the lil' burger is 1 smash burger. I also got a side of fries and a sweet tea to drink. All the items lived up to the hype. All of the employees were very accommodating. The service was similar to the closed on Sunday place. The place does get crowded but they move the people so it's not a long wait for your food. To end the experience get the chocolate chip cookie w/ walnuts...you won't be disappointed. I will be back to try the famous chicken biscuit.

Yelp
Had a nice casual dinner here. Loved that there are some favorites from The Great American Restaurant Brand (which they are a part of) to include their shoestring fries, Ozzie rolls and their Charleston chicken salad, which is also known as their Monterey sale at some of their other restaurants! Two of my dining partners enjoyed burgers with fries and I had the Charleston salad with the spiced pecans, crasins, avocado, croutons chicken tenders and their awesome herb ranch. It also comes with bread. All food was so good! Took home some treats for dessert-carrot cake cupcake so yummy! Also had their pecan sticky roll and cinnamon roll-both so good! Highly recommend! You order at the counter and then they call your name to come pick up your food when it's ready! . Very casual but great kind service from everyone we encountered. Not overly large inside and the max table size was 4, with some 2 tops and a long table with bar seats. Seems that a lot of people get their orders to-go!

Yelp
Soooo! This review is based of my last experience at the springfield location. I enjoy most of their baked goods, and heard so many wonderful things about how people travel just to get this honey chicken biscuit so I HAD TO TRY IT. Sad to say, but it was dry and the chicken is not flavorful at all. Like the pepper was overpowering and the i tasted no salt. Best buns drinks are great as well so I was just sooo upset the biscuit didn't have like some sauce. Just honey eggs and cheese-.- and a very very dry biscuit! Hard pass for me. Service at this location versus the tiny best buns in shrlington is also a downfall. NO ONE THERE SAYS HELLO OR SMILE. I went up to order and they flat out just asked me what i want today...sad. Shrlington is fast and so kind. Tyson's location super nice workers, but extremely slow...

Yelp
The food was insanely good - best biscuit chicken breakfast sandwich I've probably ever had. Was the wait and being squished while waiting for my food worth it? Not sure but would definitely order food to go or delivery because the sandwiches and potatoes were insane!!! So freaking good, but a long annoying wait if you order in store on a Saturday morning.
google avatar

Jae J.

Yelp
Like most people, I come to Best Buns for the chicken biscuit. The consistency and goodness needs to be studied and replicated on every breakfast menu. Paired with the handcut fries (the breakfast potatoes are also good, but stay with me here) and a side of grilled onions to go on top makes the perfect heavy breakfast. I've also never had a bad experience with service; everyone is nice and my food is always right and hot. The burgers are also good, but go get the chicken biscuit!

Yelp
Cute little place. Reminded me of corner bakery. When you walked in it smelled so nice. All the bread and pastries they have displayed by the counters. I ordered the honey chicken and it was simply amazing. Also took home grilled chicken sandwhich that was very generous in size. Both were excellent. Ample parking in the little shopping center. Will be back.

Yelp
Great food choice for the area! Best Buns Bakery & burgers is located in a shopping mall in Springfield which means there's ample parking. The restaurant is popular and is definitely busy inside. Even with it being busy though, the restaurant has a diner vibe and I would not have had an issue getting a table. I ended ordering online and used their take out option for breakfast. The food came out super quick and we were able to get in and out to enjoy our food. I ordered the bacon egg and cheese on a croissant which was delicious. Everything was super fresh!

Yelp
Best Buns is great gorva breakfast sandwich, a burger or even a salad. It is part of the Great American Restaurants chainnand is always packed! Parkis is a real problem even in the large shopping center parking lot. The restaurant is counter service. You wait for your name to be called,,After placing your order you shound find a table right away if you are dining in. The ambiance is very busy and intense. I like the burgers with Wicked Sauce and I enjoy the breakfast sandwiches, too. My wife prefers their salads.

Yelp
Saw a post on Instagram about this place, so I had to try it. Must say, I'm not disappointed. First, the place is very clean and the staff is very friendly. My honey chicken biscuit was fresh, hot and delicious. The top of the biscuit had a little crunch. The right amount of honey and heat. The cinnamon roll looks delicious. I haven't tried yet. Everything looked so good! They even sell Starbucks coffee. The menu is one of my photos. Highly recommend! I know I'm going back!!!

Yelp
I went around noon and with the addition of another great American restaurant in the same plaza parking can get a little hectic BUT worth it. Once inside it was busy but the line moved very quickly. We got a honey chicken biscuit & a regular one w/ American cheese. The honey chicken was so juicy and crispy! The biscuit was so soft and fluffy everything about it was perfection! Only reason they didn't get 5 stars is because I couldn't get home fries *they don't serve them past 11 am* so now that I'm aware I will make sure to get there earlier.

Yelp
I love this place for serving breakfast all day. I was really craving a breakfast sandwich and it was lunchtime. It was nice to be able to order bacon egg sandwich at 3pm The lemon blueberry muffin was delicious as well

Yelp
This bakery is absolutely divine from the delicious pastries to the impeccable customer service . I loved everything about it, you walk in and it automatically feels welcoming and warm with the smell of espresso and pastries who wouldn't. Overall this place is definitely top ten!

Yelp
First time customer at the Springfield location.... The taste was there.... Even though my burger fell to 30 pieces I enjoyed the taste. Fries were great... PS. Whoever the girl that was passing out food shouldn't be working when having a bad day.. the attitude coming from her was horrible I would have given it 5 stars if my burger didn't fall to pieces

Yelp
This is what you get when you mix a bakery with a cafe. This spot is located in a small strip mall so there is tons are parking available. The offer call in and online orders for those wanting to save some time. They have a a decent sized dining area with tables/chairs and bar seating along the window, facing the parking lot. You will also find some seating outdoors, on the side of the place as well. The restaurant has a self service water station and is very clean and tidy. The staff there is very friendly and helpful. They are all dress in white chef attire. They serve salads, build your own burgers, sandwiches, cookies, biscuits, cupcakes, sticky buns, beer, wine Starbucks coffee and soft drinks. I came in the early evening and the selection of baked goods was lacking. I got a bacon cheese burger and a chocolate chip cookie with nuts. It took them about 10 minutes to prepare my burger. The cookie was average. They were nothing special I recommend skipping them and trying another baked good. They are kind of small and I have made better myself. The burger was delicious. Very flavorful. I should have got the double patty because the single patty was kind of small and nowhere near filled me up. This is a very good place to eat, but I would keep two things in mind. Get there early in the day if you want baked good. I was wanting a sticky bun, but they were out. Also, the burgers are kind of small, so don't be scared to go big if you get one.

Yelp
Best Buns was right around the corner from our hotel and we just had to try it. The restaurant itself is cute and open. The staff were friendly and efficient. The good was great. We opted for burgers and a chicken sandwich. The hamburgers were cooked perfectly, had a great taste, and were not greasy. The chicken sandwich was very tasty and also not greasy. Would definitely recommend if in the area

Yelp
Food is good. If you've ever been to any of the restaurants under the umbrella you know it's a 10 from me.

Yelp
The best bakery in the Shirlington village and all of D.C. for me! The freshly baked breads smell heavenly in the morning, and taste like it also. The poblano cheddar (a bit spicy) and rosemary & olive oil breads are my favorite. Also try the Ozzie rolls if they have them (served in the next door Carlyle restaurant bread basket). For a sweet treat, go for the double chocolate walnut cookies (actually go for 2, one will be eaten before you make it out the door). The lemonade and Arnold Palmer also hit the spot on a hot day. The coffees are also exceptional. Parking is a bit tough - since COVID the street side parking has been converted into a temporary parking zone for mobile order pick up. Park at the parking garage at the far end of Shirlington village (the far end from Carlyle) or try to find a rare parallel park.

Yelp
The biscuit....man.....their biscuits are so good! I could have just eaten a plain biscuit. Buuuuttt their fried chicken biscuit...nothing dry about it. I went for savory versus sweet for this breakfast. They do have plenty of yummy desserts from hot cross buns, chocolate croissants and danishes....there's more but listing them all would just make me even hungrier. They have Starbucks coffee as well as juices, teas or sodas. Plenty of parking as well. No reservation required...and plenty of sitting area as well.

Yelp
Best Buns would have their pastry case fully stocked on an afternoon I decided to stop in. Their fresh brewed coffee is so good! And today it went well with the Cinnamon Raisin Danish. Soft, flaky and not too sweet. Was just what I needed to give me boost! I also opted for a fruit danish as well as a cheese danish for later hahaaaa!!! I didn't get a CINNAMON ROLL and boy was that hard to fight that urge. lol Clean restaurant and as always served with a smile. I'm going to have to stop by for lunch one of these afternoons and try a salad or a burger...everything looks so delicious! This may very well be my new happy place! lol Happy Yelping!!!

Yelp
Went to Best Buns Bakery and Burgers yesterday. I purchased the Honey Chicken Biscuit and it was extremely tasty. The chicken reminded me of home cooked chicken, the biscuit was plenty, it felt like I had two, and the honey was perfect on it. I also got the sticky bun, which was good, but nothing too special. The service was overall good considering the amount of people. We did spend about 20/30 mins between being in line and waiting. It's a cute location and I can see it being a nice breakfast brunch spot for a couple to dine in, not so much a family.

Yelp
This place is worth the hype. The breakfast sandwiches are amazing. I ordered the honey chicken biscuit and the chicken is flavorful. Just enough spice and sweetness. The chicken sandwich is good as well. The employees are helpful and provide recommendations upon request. On the weekends arrive early if you want to dine in.

Yelp
The only reason for the 3 Stars is because they rely only on the online app and in person to order. I called multiple times because the app nor online was working and asked if I could place my order on the phone and Stephanie said no. Stephanie recommended I refresh my phone. I powered off and still received an error on their ordering platforms. The honey chicken biscuit and the cookies are the reason I pushed through to come in the store to order. The monkey bread is too sweet. The cinnamon bun isn't exciting either. It is not warm soft and gooey.

Yelp
I went there to try their cookies and they were delicious!!! The cashier was extremely helpful in my decision to choose the cookies I purchased. I would visit again to get these

Yelp
So glad best buns has landed in Springfield. Now we have a go to place for breakfast sandwich! Price is very reasonable- breakfast sandwich between $6-10. You can order any sandwich on either their bagels, croissants or muffins. I definitely love their flaky and buttery crossiant for the breakfast sandwich, The egg and meat are cooked so perfectly. I have been here for few times since they opened.

Yelp
I went to best buns to try their hot honey chicken biscuit. I got it with cheddar cheese. The line was out the door! It took about 15 minutes to get the order. I had to add more hot sauce when I got home but the consistency of the chicken and biscuit was very good.

Yelp
Good food not great. Super busy and hard to find an open table. Dining room is kind of messy.

Yelp
I always drive past and have heard good things but haven't had a chance to stop by. Got a quick bite with my fiancé on Saturday and they were quite busy. Line moves fast and our waits for our food (a sandwich and a croissant sandwich) took about 5-8 mins. My fiance got the sausage egg and cheese sandwich with bacon added extra. I got the ham egg and cheese croissant. We both like his sandwich better cause his was crispy and the portion was big. Deducted a star cause I wished my croissant wasn't squished. We also got an oatmeal cookie which was delicious! I would def get 2 next time so I can eat one at home. The store has plenty of tables and seats but you might have to wait a little on a busy day. I hear their monkey bread is good so I'll have to come back to try!
