Looked up bakery near me, and this was listed. I was looking for a new experience and found Bedt Buns Bakery & Burgers. Overall, everything was a pleasant surprise. The customer service, food, and pleasant atmosphere was a 10 out of 10. I have already recommended this bakery to my friends. You can not go wrong if you want to experience great food.

Talk about a chocolate cupcake! Absolutely delightful. One of the many favorites there. The carrot cake is delicious! The atmosphere is wonderful, giving vibes of French bakery meets buzzing corner cafe! Staff is polite and professional, taking special care to package each order beautifully. Breakfast, brunch, lunch items and more. Cozy spot great for picking up or take-out not alot seating.

Lively breakfast spot! My friend recommended and did not disappoint. Staff is friendly and make you feel welcome. Bagels with ham, egg and cheese was tasty. I enjoyed the coffee!

Really good taste. Cinnamon Rolls pack alot of flavor. The biscuits are top-notch and flaky. Just like Grandma used to make. Quite delicious.

Love the setup in the restaurant. Wait time was a little long, but definitely worth the wait. The croissant was flaky, soft and buttery I might add. The bacon and eggs were cooked to perfection.

Food was great and they have the best bread I have ever tasted in my life and you translate that to breakfast sandwich and pastries, you are in for a treat. I wish we had them back home in Georgia. My only complaint is coming here three times during my 5 day vacation is the employees keep mistakenly or just can't get a simple name correct!

I went to get cupcakes and baguette. Sat outside, my friend got a chai. It’s her favorite. I think the cupcake was delish! I got redvelvet cupcake, too bad they didn’t have the big cupcake but I was happy with the small one :)

Best Buns has a few great baked goods however you must go prior to 9am to get them. The other items like coffee and food aren’t worth the price! I paid $12 for half of a breakfast sandwich.

Best buns? No one deserves the name more! I stopped in for a double cheeseburger and went all in on the toppings - 10/10 and I'm not usually a big burger fan. The french fries are an absolute must, probably some of the best I've had. I also grabbed some pastries for the weekend and everything I tried was great and held up well over a couple days. The banana carrot bread, giant ginger cookie, and morning bun were particularly memorable and I'd order them again for sure.

Best Buns Bakery has been a staple bakery since Shirlington has been here in the neighborhood. It's a wonderful stop for a coffee and a special baked good before or after a great meal in the Shirlington area for date night, especially after a hearty Sunday brunch or movie event. The coffee beverages are typically made to standard. Too bad there are no tables or a few stools for inside, and a few outside tables. It is a good place to take a break when you can get a seat. A few times during the weekends when I have arrived, there are just a few available baked goods.

Saw this place on Instagram and figured I'd give it a shot. I ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger w/fries and my wife ordered the grilled chicken sandwich. The burger was pretty good. Nothing amazing but good. Standard burger at a fairly decent price when compared to other local restaurants. The French fries are really good. The grilled chicken sandwich was a nice size. Bigger than anticipated but good overall. This place didn't give amazing but it also wasn't bad either. If I happened to be in the area I'd definitely give them another shot.

Delicious sandwich! I tried the Spuntino with Chicken breast, basil aioli, roasted red peppers & watercress on rosemary bread. It was so delicious and filling! The rosemary bread was soft and light and they did not skimp on the chicken. This was definitely a great value at around $10. The restaurant was busy but the line went fast and service was quick.

Best buns is named correctly! I just love this little shop. It's so such a cute little bakery! They also always have something intriguing to choose from in the fresh baked goods section. The customer service is always great as well. The chai tea is good and they also have food options which I have not tried yet. Everything is so good. You could pretty much disclose your eyes and choose anything and you won't be disappointed!

I rarely give a bad review, but this couldn't go unsaid. It's been a while since I've been to Best Buns so I decided to check out their newest location in Springfield. I ordered a cheeseburger with ketchup, mayo, onions and mushrooms which is my standard when ordering a burger. However, I was totally surprised and put off by how bland it was. I mean literally no taste at all. The saving grace were the French fries which were hot when served. I would like to say that it must have been a bad night for the staff, but I don't know if I will visit again to see if that was the case.

I've been here a handful of times and always have had a good experience. I either order in person or online, and on the weekends they can get busy. it's a cute cafe style place attached to Carlyle next door. I get the breakfast sandwich with sausage and icebox bread (what it normally comes with) it's amazing! I've tried the croissant too and it's pretty good but doesn't compare to the toast.

Best Buns Bakery & Burgers is located near a corner, next door to Caryle with street parking available (please note that you have to pay for parking). There is also covered and partially covered outdoor seating for both restaurants that is dog friendly. My husband and I decided to come here with our little girl dog for breakfast. After looking over the menu, we ended up ordering the following inside at a register: Egg & Cheese Breakfast Sandwich, $5.95 prior to tax- I opted to get a meatless sandwich. I liked the sourdough bread that was used and I thought the sandwich was tasty. I ended up only eating half of it because I wanted to also have some home fries. I saved my other half for the next morning (reheated, it was great). Sausage, Egg & Cheese Breakfast Sandwich, $7.95 prior to tax- My husband ordered this breakfast sandwich and thought it was good. But he wished there was more meat in it. Each half sandwich had a thin sausage patty. Home Fries, $3.65 prior to tax- I got an order of potato. This potato comes with carnalized onions, which was nice. But the potato was oily, greasy and rather salty. I don't know if I would order this again for myself. Sticky Bun, $4.25 prior to tax- My husband ordered this to bring home with us. The bun was very sweet, maybe a little too sweet for my liking but my husband liked it. There were plenty of chopped pecans in it. Ginger Crinkle Cookie, $3 prior to tax- I opted for a gingerbread cookie, in which I ate 2 days after purchase. It was still very moist and had a wonderful ginger flavor, but was not overpowering. But this cookie was a little messy with the cookie covered in sugar. Regular Grande Coffee, $2.95 prior to tax Chai Latte, Grande, $5.25 prior to tax ------------------------------------------- (Total= $35.65 after tax, prior to tip) Wait time for our drinks and baked goods was very quick. But did have to wait a little longer for our sandwiches, about 10 minutes after ordering. Overall, Best Buns Bakery & Burgers is a nice casual place for a meal or snack. If I lived in the area, I most likely would be a regular.

Love Best Buns! They make the best fresh-baked bread and pastries. I had the ham and cheese croissant for breakfast: it was light, fluffy, buttery, and filling!

Ordered a bacon cheeseburger and fries online from Shirlington. Arrived a few minutes after it was supposed to be ready and it was sitting at the pick up counter. Drove home to eat it. It was delicious and flavorful and juicy, and the shoestring fries were heavenly and crispy. I didn't even need ketchup! This is a good second option to my favorite burger joint (Five Guys).

Oh my god! Get the cinnamon buns! You won't be disappointed. Cinnabon can go away. The buns are remarkable.The dough is flaky and not overly saturated. it's just a perfect balance of bun for the rich frosting. I wish I purchased than one. I ate the whole bun on the drive home. My friend ordered the carrot bundt cake. She said it was phenomenal and raved about it for days. Don't walk, run here! Thank me later!

Great place for a quick bite, although seating is very limited. I noticed most people were picking up orders to go, but we were planing on a sit down lunch and were lucky to grab one of the 4 outside tables. We all ordered hamburgers which were very nicely served, we had the small ones which were actually huge!! Nice price point given the size. Hubby had the turkey sandwich and he said it was great. Also big and very tasty! Wait was about 15 min. Other than the limited seating, it was a nice option for a quick bite!

I was a little apprehensive with trying Best Buns Bakery but I soon learned that I was completely wrong. After a morning workout and needing food asap I stopped by this bakery that was close to my friend's place. I'd quickly found them on Yelp and figured I'd give it a try. When I arrived there were people sitting outside and the line was pretty hefty for 10:30 am. There were lots of associates helping at the register so the line went really quickly. I ordered a bacon egg and cheese on a bagel and I was scarrereeed lol. I've never had a good BEC in the DMV and that could be because I'm so picky since I grew up in Jersey where the BEC bagels are crazy good. Best Buns Bakery BEC shocked me. I ate that sandwich up so quickly and I love the cheese that they put on it. Another plus for them was that they had hot sauce. Tobasco is not my favorite but it got the job done. I think cholula would take this BEC to the next level. Looking forward to going to my friends house again because I would try something else from here. Thanks

I like best buns and I cannot lie! While they do offer baked goods, I am willing to put my foodie reputation on the line and say that Best Buns is arguably the best spot to get a burger in Nova. If you love flavorful burgers that are cheesy and topped with fresh ingredients (make sure to add the wicked good sauce on your burger), then you have to get your hands on a Best Buns burger! I haven't tried any of their pastries or baked goods yet, but based on how good everything smells I'll definitely be back just for that. Inside isn't very big or offer much dining space, but they do have plenty of outdoor seating facing the street if you want to people watch as you eat.

The best pastries I've had in years!!! Amazing cafe, clean and inviting, friendly employees. I couldn't have enjoyed this more. I'm traveling, so I might have to go back tomorrow morning before I leave.

This place totally lives up to its name. It really does have the best bread and pastries around! We are big fans of their cinnamon roll and it could totally win the best cinnamon roll in the area (there, I said it!). We also love their bacon, egg and cheese breakfast sandwiches too and I'm obsessed with their ham and cheese croissant. So much layering and flakiness that make the croissant the absolute best! Definitely recommend this place and I can't wait to return!

Love this place as I do the Great American Restaurant they are a part of. Food is delicious and the burgers are very good and like a smash type burger very tasty. My all time favorite is the giant ginger cookies with candied ginger. So good and I buy by the dozen and freeze as hard to find.

I just left there and there shelf's were empty.. not sure what's going on because it's only 7.. but I went next door to a cookie place instead..

Ok so Best Buns...I will start with the highs!!! The pastries and baked goods are to die for. The service is good, with my meal always coming out in a timely fashion. The ambiance isn't much, but for more of a grab-n-go establishment, I don't mind that at all. This particular day, I ordered one of their bacon cheeseburgers, and it didn't taste particularly fresh. The cheese also was not melted, so that was a bummer, but Best Buns usually delivers, so it's not uncommon for a great place to have a poor day.

Ate breakfast here on a Saturday morning. My boyfriend got a sausage egg and cheese sandwich and I got the bacon egg and cheese sandwich. We also ordered some home fries to share. We waited about 15 mins for our order. They don't offer a lot of seating, but we were lucky to get two bar stools inside facing the window. The sandwiches were both delicious and super filling! We both just ate half of the large sandwich and took the other halves home to enjoy later. The home fries were crispy on the edges but soft in the middle, just how I like it + the flavor was great! Overall, it was great and I'm already looking forward to visiting again to try their pastries.

I've tried their bagels at work but I've never gone into the establishment until yesterday. It's a small and cozy cafe with minimal seating inside and out. On busy days service can take a little bit but employees are always greeting everyone and assisting where they can. I personally enjoyed David's AM drumroll because it's like a hearty and better version of the McDonald's sausage egg McMuffin. The cheese pull was real for this one. My boyfriend enjoyed Jenn's rising sun croissant more though.

Quality, taste, entire experience here has gone down. Ordered a burger which was so gross, i couldn't finish it. They didn't get the order right, nor did submitting feedback directly to the management group matter. This place used to be awesome. Now it's not even worth popping in. Highly recommend Paris Baguette instead.

Truly some of the best buns as they supply bread to so many different restaurants around the area. Even from outside, one can smell the bread being baked and we couldn't help but go outside. Later in the day, one's options are more limited, but they still had a great selection. The staff were incredibly kind and helped provide suggestions on what to get. I opted for a whole loaf of monkey bread and it was sublime, but next time I'll be trying one of their massive cupcakes!

I wish I could give half stars, but since I can't I rounded up. I went to place an online order, so I could do a car pickup and noticed they did not have the breakfast sandwich my husband wanted. I called the restaurant to inquire and the BBs (Best Buns) employee shared that when they are running low on items, they take the item offline, which was the case with croissants (the bread used for the sandwich my husband wanted). However, she told me she would put it back online to allow me to order and take it back offline when she saw my order come through. She asked for my name, so she could monitor when I ordered, that's what I call superior customer service! She did in fact put it online and I quickly ordered and then headed to BBs. This is five star customer service! Someone came to my car to verify what I ordered shortly after I arrived and after a short amount of time he brought me my food. When I got home, it was on and poppin. The hubby and I added jelly to our sandwiches (requested on my online order, but not completed) and dove in. My husband loved his sandwich (Jen's Rising Sun Croissant), he thought it was delicious. My sandwich (David's A.M. Drumroll) was also really good, but the meat to bread ratio was not ideal. The turkey patty on the sandwich was so small in comparison to the size of the sandwich, they should have put two patties on each half of the sandwich. Otherwise, everything was great and we will definitely be back.

I've only heard great things about this place. I love a good cupcake and Best Buns did not disappoint. I went with a vanilla cupcake and red velvet. I was a little hesitant but once I took a bite of the cupcake it was love at first bite. The cream cheese icing was perfect. The texture of the cupcake was perfect. The English toffee cookies were also great. I heated mine in the microwave when I got home to give them more of a soft texture. Will definitely be back to try more of their other items.

This restaurant group is known for great execution, but I'm hesitant to spend too much time in a bakery. The offerings are pretty typical, and I'm sure they're well executed. I've been twice and service was great as well.

We were visiting out of town and heard Best Buns was great. Every time we went it was always busy. Reminds me of a Panera vibes. We went on a Sunday morning for bagels and they were already sold out and got a cinnamon roll instead. It was super yummy and the frosting was a perfect balance. Went that Monday and finally snagged one of the last few bagels. It was such a good bagel! I loved the crispy outer part, but the soft chewiness on the inside. They have a toaster for you to toast your own bagel. My only complaint was I wanted more cream cheese lol.

Best Red Velvet and Carrot Cake treats I've had in a minute. Will definitely come back. It was so hard to just pick a few item. Will definitely get a loaf next time. Everyone was super sweet and helpful. Special shout out to the customer that told me she'd been going there since the 80's and everything was delicious. I'm new to the area and now will be a repeat customer.

After hearing my friend talk about this and telling us how she goes every weekend - I had to check them out. I got the bacon, egg and cheese on a biscuit with a pumpkin spice latte and now I understand why she goes every weekend! Good portions and the seasonal latte was perfect amount of sweet. Would highly recommend checking out their breakfast sandwiches. My only regret was not getting the morning bun, but that just means I need another visit!

Can't go wrong with a Great American Restaurant. They utilize their fresh bread baking expertise to craft a perfect brioche burger bun. The fries are their crispy shoestring fries you would find at Sweetwater, Silverado, or Mikes. Overall a solid burger, consistent, delicious.

Came here on a Sunday morning around 11:00 to get some bagels. To my disappointment, they were sold out of most things. So we got a croissant and chocolate milk. The croissant was okay. They did have some indoor and outdoor seating which was nice. The inside looked a bit dirty. Probably will not return as there are better options around.

I had the vanilla latte and carrot cupcake and both were fantastic! Highly recommend coming to Best Buns, they have the best baked goods in the Arlington area, in my opinion. Ambiance was pretty cute inside too. Service was very fast.

Best Buns gets a NEGATIVE 5 rating, for always, and I mean always filling "To Go" orders incorrectly. Order an extra burger, or extra bacon, or hot sauce on the side.... I guarantee they will not include it. They'll charge you.....but you will be at home sitting at your dinner table when you realize you've been ripped off. Management must be short staffed on the weekends, because they know about this problem, and do not take time to fix it. So, you really must check your order before leaving the restaurant, or else you'll be highly disappointed.

The bacon egg and cheese sandwich was scrumptious!!!!! The monkey bread STAMP!! The cinnamon roll STAMP!!! Ham & cheese croissant STAMP!!! The toffee cookies STAMP!! Let's just say this is my number 1 go to spot

What happened to grilled or blackened chicken??? Not everyone wants fried! Blackened chicken sandwich was so good, and now it's gone? Shame!! No reason to eat here anymore!

One location of a small franchise of cafes that has a solid selection of baked good, hot foods, and drinks. The space has two sections, one with a counter where you can see the different baked goods (+ order) and another with a bunch of tables and booths where you can eat. If you order baked goods or drinks you pick them up at the counter, and if you order hot food you can take a seat in the other section and they will bring your food to you (you have a number). I came here with my GF and we each got an iced vanilla late, and we split a pastry and a breakfast sandwhich. Everything was delicious and the people were all very friendly! We also saw them bring out coffees to people outside who were in their cars (or with their dogs), which seems like a great option as well!

The best non-chain bakery in the DMV. Has a wide assortment of breakfast pastries all freshly made and great value. All the croissants are great as is the cinnamon roll. Breakfast sandwiches also very good.

Best Buns definitely doesn't need my approval, you already know it's the bomb.com but here it is anyways! The sticky bun is our go to, we get 4 or 5 at a time because they are that good but I also enjoy their breakfast sandwiches and cookies. I have never ate lunch here but I can assume it's also delightful. They also have mobile ordering that they will bring out to your car so you can pull up outside, grab your order, and jet to work which is convenient!

Always pick up breakfast sandwiches when I am in town. Sooo good! And their carrot cake is a family favorite, too! (Order that ahead)

Nice breakfast spot. We walked from the hotel and this was a big step up from the hotel breakfast and coffee shop in the urban center. I was pleasantly surprised by how the big, comfortable seating area. You order at the counter, sit and they bring the food to your table. We ordered two breakfast sandwiches, Rene's egg, bacon and cheese on icebox bread. It's buttery and has a little mayo. I thought it was tasty, but a tad rich and heavy. I was pretty full after eating half. My daughter tried the Jen's Rising Sun croissant sandwich with ham, fried egg, and cheese, which was good. Two sandwiches and a coffee were less than $20, so good value. I like the booth seating and hooks for coats. Service was pleasant and food was very fast. Overall, happy experience. I'd go back.

Best cinnamon roll i've ever had! And I'm a sucker for the one's at IKEA but they pale in comparison to these. They are decadent and buttery. Take my advice and warm it up in the microwave when you get back home. It's so much better thay way... I will definitely be back to try their banana muffin, cupcakes, rosemary bread etc. -- Edit: Just tried their banana chocolate chip muffin and it was also great! Lots of chocolate chips and bits of banana.

I have been coming here for over 15 years regularly. Unfortunately the service has really gone downhill, and after my experience today, I sadly need to write a review so that others are aware. This place has been my go to for salads, sandwiches, scones, croissants and coffee for so long. But the mistakes in orders have increased over time and I have to check my food every time now before I leave. Today, I ordered a salad with the roll that is part of the order. When I picked up, there was no roll in the bag, and when I asked she said we have no rolls left (order placed at 3:54pm and they close at 9pm). She did not offer any alternatives, so I asked for a slice of bread, a croissant, something to compensate me for them not having any rolls. Note that this is a bread place AND they did have bread, just not what they usually provide with the salads. Then she argued with me and said "well, the rolls are complimentary". They are literally part of the order! And this is a BREAD place! So, sadly, I have decided to cut the cord and take my business elsewhere. They charge way too much for their salads anyway, and there are plenty of other options for me to choose from where they actually care enough about their customers to make it right when they don't have what they advertise. Bye bye "best (no) buns".

Didn't have time to take photos because I was too busy woooofing down my breakfast sandwich. This place is super good and service was excellent. Order first, get your ticket number and have a seat. Nice gentleman delivers your breakfast bag and off you go to dine in or carry out. Food was awesome and is married to Carlyle another nice spot but for dinner. The bakery has a nice selection of super fresh fat food and offers Starbucks for coffee. Must stop!

Went in for breakfast around 9:45 and was excited because I saw bagels on the menu. At this hour ALLLLLLLL bagels were sold out. And at that point I was turned off. Attempted to order the bacon cheddar scone, but wasn't convinced it would be soft. For my breakfast sandwich I wanted to add lettuce, tomato, and onions. They only had tomato. Sooooo, this is about me and not them. Through my questioning and not getting what I anticipated I just decided to go somewhere else. Customer service was good-no complaints. She was patient and answered all of my questions. My husband's order was even available quickly. My husband got the cinnamon roll. He enjoyed it! He ate at the restaurant we ended up patronizing because they look so good in the window he could not wait. He said it needed to be warmed a bit. I took a corner piece and it was a lil dry, but the rest looked well "syruped", soft, and yummy. Overall, we would try them again. Just earlier so I can grab a ! Give them a try and let me know what you think!

Food was good and service was quick. Small patio if you plan on staying. Overall, a great place to drop in for a quick meal. I only ordered bakery and coffee items, but the burgers looked amazing as well!

It was adjacent to a restaurant as well where you can use restroom. Curbside pickup was nonstop so this place is busier than the average. It seems to be a staple in community, however wasn't my favorite.

My friend and I stopped by. The food was great, good service, no issues. I shall return.

This is a GAR restaurant. Not your typical GAR in the terms of all the extra service level stuff like Scripted Service and all that. It's their bakery; but wait: they make really good burgers and the bread items are to the par of a GAR. So not really a shocker, but the burgers are good.
