Stopped in and visited this location Monday morning - there was an unlimited selection of fresh pastries to select from, as well as breakfast sandwiches. I sat in the quaint dining room and had a ham and cheese and croissant along with hot cup of coffee..ordered my cinnamon bun to go! This is my second time visiting - weekends are much busier in the mornings but this location is definitely worth visiting at any day of the week for your quick breakfast and home made pastry!

Have been to best buns a couple time and each time I have never been disappointed! The food and staff are amazing. The pastries and baked items are delicious and you can’t go wrong with picking whatever. The breakfast sandwiches are also great!

Went last week on Tuesday and got a pastry. The atmosphere is nice and cozy, staff is friendly. The dessert tasted a bit stale and the fruit filling was too sweet for my taste to be honest and felt a little overpriced. However, would consider visiting again for coffee!

I had the pleasure of visiting this bakery for the first time, and let me tell you, the David drumroll sandwich was absolutely delicious! I cannot recommend it enough, a solid 10/10. What really struck me was the warm and friendly atmosphere, and the service was impressively quick. Even the pickup service was top-notch. As soon as we arrived, the lady in charge of pickups graciously approached us and asked if we were there for pickup. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that this bakery is connected to the Carlyle. It's always nice to learn something new! Oh, and they also made a dirty chai for me. While it may not have been the absolute best I've ever had, it was still quite tasty, and I wouldn't hesitate to order it again.

Truly some of the best buns as they supply bread to so many different restaurants around the area. Even from outside, one can smell the bread being baked and we couldn't help but go outside. Later in the day, one's options are more limited, but they still had a great selection. The staff were incredibly kind and helped provide suggestions on what to get. I opted for a whole loaf of monkey bread and it was sublime, but next time I'll be trying one of their massive cupcakes!

Grabbed lunch today and was very unsatisfied to say the least. There was a long hair in my bakery made grilled chicken sandwich. As you can see from the picture it was inside the sandwich... very disgusting. Also my vanilla latte was very strong I almost didn’t even think she put vanilla in it. Very disappointing meal as I come to this bakery often.

Cute bakery, I felt like a kid in a candy store. I bought several pastries and oh boy, they were delicious!! I highly recommend trying their scrumptious cupcakes. Wish I could have tried their fresh baked breads.

Disappointing experience today with the staff. I went by for a chocolate croissant for my daughter, who loves them. Hard to get up to Shirlington these days as we moved, but Best Buns has been worth it. Turns out the chocolate croissants are sold out (at 9:15 am on a Monday) because they let some corporate office clean them out for a meeting. I was told next time I could order them online, which is pointless if someone has already bought them all. I called the manager and he said there's no policy to prevent someone from buying all of one product, which also happens to take a long time to make. Seems to me that the corporate office should be the ones who need to put an online order in ahead of time, so the average customer doesn't miss out? What reason do people have, to go out of my their to keep spending money at Best Buns, if the store lets people clean out an entire product at once? Please rethink your store's policy. I'm going to pass until then.
