This Best Buy takes zero accountability. Their app is horrible. I made an order online at 1030p at night, when I tried to adjust the order 1 min after making the order, I could not through the app. Why was that ? I wait until morning since maybe it needs to update (remind it is 1030pm and i just made the order. This should have been my window to adjust) and now it is being shipped with no windows of time of me being able to adjust the shipping information. Ughh okay?? I chose the South Philly location (they eventually tell me that doesn't matter). When I went to the store, somehow their staff was more useless. I speak to the manager and tell them that their 50" tv is likely to get stolen when left on the step with no one home. Can you believe they did not care? They did not care about that at all. Didn't even reach out to the Harrisburg store to help me in resolving my issue further after IDENTIFYING the store it is being shipped out of. These guys were useless. Had no explanation and said it is handled in the corporate office. Are you crazy? That is the only reason I came there. I spoke to corporate at 1030am and they told me it would not be shipped until the morning and that I could go into the store (she never even confirmed the store!!). So they are even worse at their jobs, got it. You are dealing with people first hand and don't have a process (which I asked for several times. What is the process in this case?)? 2 thumbs down. And this is the Best Buy that I am stuck with, unfortunately. This review gives me peace of mind. That's how useless they are

It was experiencing some technical difficulties & user error & he held my hand through the issues, at no convenience or financial gain to himself, for an hour. Not a fan of Best buy.I brought items home with parts missing. I only go here as the last resort. I bought insurance on products it was useless when I went to have my item fixed. They didn't honor the insurance. They tell me it wasn't covered. Watch what you buy. Read the fine print.

Best buy blows and has always blown. I decided to give them another shot which was the biggest mistake. Ordered $180 worth of neca horror figures which my son collects and it was end of school gift. First 2 arrived damaged with zero packaging or protection . I go on their site to put a return and cancel the rest of my order before they also arrived damaged. Getting an error page saying we're sorry, something went wrong. There is a reason your sales are declining each year. Overpriced and Just don't care about the customer.

You can't call the store. The number 8s to a call center. If you leave your wallet by accident you can't call the store to see. You will have to drive back to the store which is 45min away. That's the closet one I might add. You should be able to talk to somebody at the physical store....smh. I really hate shopping can't never get customer service.

If I could give 0 stars for their Geek Squad I would. I made an appointment last week for Sunday to replace my iPhone battery. Upon arrival and check in the technician said that the battery did not arrive yet... which why wasn't I contacted prior to my arrival for this? Fine. We reschedule for Tuesday and I had to take time off work to make this happen. Tuesday I arrive at my scheduled time, wait 30 minutes while the tech is "running diagnostics" only to find out that the battery was STILL not in stock.. and yet again I've now wasted another hour of my life commuting to this waste of a location that can't provide service. The technician apologized and I understand it's likely not his direct fault - but I am livid. I asked to speak to his manager and he stated he just left. I asked for his direct phone number so I could make a complaint and he gave me the paper attached to this review. Do better.

Worst service! Ordered a tv online and scheduled delivery a month out. Received confirmation of delivery and drove 200 miles roundtrip for the delivery. Texts received day of delivery 1. the delivery is 20 minutes away 2. item was delivered No delivery received. After hours on the phone, I was told the item was backordered. I rescheduled delivery. Order support was supposed to send a gift card for my trouble. After 3 separate phone calls regarding just the gift card, I have still not received!

One person did make me feel like a valued customer and provided great customer service. Julian was super knowledgeable, patient and customer centric. I am not sure how easily my issue will be resolved. I was given the wrong 55" TV. I ordered a Toshiba 55" for pickup as my old tv bit the dust. I was given a TCL 55". I assumed that was an abbreviation for Toshiba. Wrong. A different brand. I found a number for the central *888 #. Josh was helpful. He said they could send people to pick the TCL up and deliver the Toshiba to me. Great. Today the South Philly store is closed. I do have a case number which should help. I will update this site when I have final resolution. I am an older woman that had polio. I drove to the store in a rain storm. I had to rely on others to load it, unload it, move the old TV and put the new one on the table. I have relied on Best Buy for years. Thanks. Mimo

Never, I repeat NEVER have anything delivered from BestBuy. I ordered a dishwasher and it was to be delivered on a Friday, they gave me a 7AM-7PM time window initially so I had to take the day off, then the window was 9-12, but they had to cancel entirely and reschedule for Saturday. They said they would be there between 8AM-11AM on Saturday. At noon on Saturday I contacted BestBuy to find out if it was not coming at all on Saturday, after I had canceled plans for the afternoon. I was told that, no, they weren't able to make it Saturday. It was rescheduled to Monday, and I was told the delivery would be from 8AM-11AM, so I had to take another day off work. And, guess what, they said they couldn't deliver it Monday and would need to reschedule for another day. F that! I lost 2 vacation days, had to cancel plans with friends from out of town, rearranged my living room to give the crew easy access... and still I have no dishwasher. I canceled my order and vow to never give them business again.

Your standard best buy located in south Philly. This place has a lot of tech ranging from computers to home appliances. The stock when I went was definitely limited especially that of the game and tot section. Tv selection was fair and I really enjoyed checking out the refrigerators and washing machines. Its always a nice experience The staff here are very friendly and helpful when we went!

Went into this location for a phone upgrade and was told that they don't work on Business accounts. They didn't have this posted on the website at all, so I went there for nothing. Then I was told by my carrier that I didn't have a business account anymore and they still couldn't help me for some reason. Found out that my carrier dropped the ball and this Best Buy store had did all they could. I ended up coming back 2 weeks later and got another line upgraded with no problem. The communication between the store and website could be a bit better. That would make things a lot easier and save time and confusion.

I can't think how the associates can be any worse. They are engaged in conversations with each other or on a computer every time. No thought, no engagement, no personality. If the demo product is not on the shelf, well that's just too bad, no checking the stock. You want directions to the right shelves, we give you in distinct guidance & don't check the you made it. Mind you, the store was half empty on all of these occasions.

How to lose a loyal customer with over 20 years history with Best Buy: We purchased a $850 computer, plus warranty for our daughter to go to college. Within first week, that said computer broke, we exchanged it for another, even more expensive model. That model started to malfunction halfway through the first semester. Ok, we thought, let her finish her semester and we will address it with the warranty. Then COVID hit and the stores closed. By the time we were vaccinated and ready to go to the store to address the issue, the warranty expired, and they will not extend it. The only solution they propose is to fix this computer for additional $688 with no possibility to purchase the warranty that extends to more than 30 days. Which means that if the now fixed computer breaks after 30 days, we are out of options entirely. Goodbye Best Buy. This is not the way to treat and keep your customers.

Take your business elsewhere! We ordered a new refrigerator from Best Buy over a month and a half ago. The technician installed it and confirmed it was broken but he left the fridge here saying we needed to schedule a pick up. Now we've called customer service over 20 times and gone down to the store and nobody will pick this back up or give us our money back. We had 4 scheduled deliveries to exchange the fridge and we keep getting calls saying they are 5 minutes away and then they cancel. Each time they cancel the reason is crazier than the last. I've never had a more upsetting customer service situation. It truly feels like they stole our money.

I'd give negative star for the customer service experience with South Philly Best Buy. I bought a video game on sale for $35 and it was supposed to be delivered 3 days ago. Today, geek squad attempted to deliver my item and called me at 1:53 EST. It was an unknown number and I was in a work meeting, so was unable to take the call. I then see on my order page that my delivery has been cancelled and I'll be getting a refund. Funny, this also happened at 1:53 EST (photo receipts) attached. So, the geek squad person called me and cancelled my order in the same minute, no even giving me a chance to call back. To make it worse, my item is no longer on sale and is now available for $60. So basically, best buy stole $25 dollars from me. If I don't hear from you, I'll make sure I steer everybody in my life away from using your business. This is a SCUMBAG move.

Any and all nostalgia that I had for this store is now gone. No one isolated incident triggered this updated review. The reality is that my last few visits have all been disappointments. However, my last visit is the one that I hope to be the very last visit to this Best Buy. Why? It comes down to a basic issue of customer service. I wanted to return a product that is not happy with. Had I purchased it on Amazon, returning it would be a completely hasslefree experience. But returning it to Best Buy, I had to make a trip to the store. However, the customer service representative did not at all seem interested in actually helping me. Indeed, everything that she said indicated that she had hoped to deny me the return, or at the very minimum assess a fee. First she claimed that I was outside the return window. Absolutely not true, I am Platinum Rewards with a 45 day window, I purchased the camera I was returning 25 days ago. She then inspected the contents of the package, after admitting that error, and said she still couldn't process the return because she had to check about the restock fee. It was only after she returned with a glum look upon her face that she gave me a full refund. No "I'm sorry that I misjudged you. "Honestly, seriously the worst customer surface and passive aggressive just weird. In a store with no customers, no line. Anyhow, after that was done I thought I'd take a stroll through various departments. Plenty of employees, no customers. I decided to linger in the TV department for an extended period of time while four or five employees chatted away. Sometimes I glanced at them. I hovered around some products. I began to wonder do I look like somebody who is not interested in TVs or something? Somebody who is not worth even say hello to? I really don't know what's up. That store was full of employees who have nothing better to do than give decent customer service to one of the only customers there. There is not a single product sold there that I cannot get on Amazon.

They literally kept following my friends and I around the store which was so crazy I've never been followed or treated as if I was gonna steal stuff by other black people? Apparently someone stole air pods months before so I guess they were on guard but my friends and I were literally just in nice clothes my friend was picking up an oculus so it's clear we have money but we were treated as if we were gonna steal . Idk I'm just ashamed at that service completely.

Had an online order for in-store pickup. Order was ready within the hour. Came in the store and was out in less than 5min. Great service. Browsed camera accessories but their supply was limited than what they had online. That kinda sucks but oh well. The age we are in is online shopping now anyway.

Kudos to having the item I wanted; however, you have to work out a better plan to service clientele. Went on Thanksgiving Eve and they were not allowing customers in. You wait in line for about an hour or more, give them your order and then check out...at the front door. Not the safest measures for your customers. Hoping this is not a continual thing. I encourage you to order online and pick up.

This is primarily for the customer service/appliance delivery team. We were supposed to have a washer dryer delivered and installed on Saturday. 15 minutes before our appointment window, we get a call saying the truck was too big for our street and they left. Didn't think to park on the corner of the bigger street - just left. Nobody told us that the delivery wouldn't be reattempted. My husband called the store later that day and was told dispatch would reach out. He never received a call. We tried having it rescheduled for a day/time that was convenient for us, but to our dismay, the "only time available" was for four days later. They did not work with us whatsoever to try to rearrange for same day delivery on Monday. So I left work early to be home and available for the delivery window of 1:30-3:30. Well, it's almost 4 PM, and nobody has shown up. Nobody called my husband (whose info is on the order), and nobody has even thought to offer us compensation/money off our order for our wasted time and inconvenience. We are both incredibly frustrated and disappointed with the type of service we have received and will be reporting to the Better Business Bureau if this isn't properly addressed.

I have so much anxiety whenever it comes to a big purchase item (TV, refrigerator, ect). My salesman, Khalif, was exceptional! My wife & I went to BestBuy to purchase Phillips Hue lights & somehow ended up looking at TV's. With so many options to choose from at BestBuy, my anxiety was in overdrive! Khalif was professional, showed patience (my wife & I had a ton of questions), & knowledgeable. Khalif's courtesy was well worth the long line & time it took us to get into the store!

If I could give zero stars I would. I purchased something on my birthday for cyber Monday. I tried to get it delivered to my house but that wasn't an option. I went to pick up the item two weeks later but Best Buy's customer service said in the fine print of the order that if i didn't pick up by the day before, the order would be cancelled, and the purchase price refunded to the credit card. (yeah like people have stuff to do and are busy sometimes like working / caring for a child, some people can't just drop everything to go pick up an order immediately at the store). Fine, I said, I'll buy it now. We can't sell it to you for that price because it was a cyber Monday deal. What do you mean? Ok let me talk to the manager. The manager seemed more annoyed to talk to me. I explained that I had purchased a television here, computers, spent all kinds of money at this store. Well sir you can purchase this item for 250 (it had been on sale for 99, and was sitting in the customer pick up area with my name on it) or go look at what else we have at this time. I went over to the section, everything was overpriced and more than what I had already bought. Or sir you can call our customer service number. I don't want to call customer service I just want to purchase what I already damn bought. Well sir this is a price protected item. So I call customer service and of course there was a 20 minute wait. So here's the best part. I pull up my phone to search for the same model I had purchased from Best Buy that now they won't sell me. On amazon for an online retailer it is 97 dollars. 2 dollars cheaper than the "special cyber Monday deal" that Best Buy NOW won't even honor. Screw this store. I hope it gets swallowed by a giant sink hole when no one is working and no customers are in it. Save your time, save your money, buy on amazon or go to Walmart online where they will actually ship to your door. Wanna know why retail is dead? See above.

It took several hours for the order to be ready for pickup, we then had to wait for over an hour at the curbside pickup only to find that the order was marked delivered online even though it was never brought out to us. Apparently, the store doesn't need any proof that they delivered an order to mark it delivered. It took several weeks of sitting on hold on the phone for hours to try and get the order cancelled and refunded and another visit to the store and having to wait in line for over an hour inside to get the refund processed.

Today, my boyfriend had placed an order for in-store pick up. He placed two different orders, back to back. We arrived at the store and quickly got processed for the first order. They told us we had to wait a few minutes to locate the second order. After over an hour later and several attempts at trying to receive any sort of update on the status of the item, they told us it was sold to another individual just within the time that we placed the order at home (around 6:15 PM) and the time we arrived at the store (7:00 PM). A young gentlemen advised he could see what other similar items they had in stock and redirected us to the "computer representative," who scanned a few items here and there and quickly began helping another group of customers. We were then redirected to go back to the front desk where store pick up is, and to ask if anybody could help us there. We arrived at the store at 7:00 PM. It is now 8:39 PM. We have successfully found someone who could help us purchase a different item, but we had to run around the whole store for nearly two hours trying to find just one person that could help us. All staff were clocked out and ready to leave near the end of the closing time and this is just unacceptable.

WARNING - DON'T SHOP HERE! I bought a washer/dryer combo in November to replace my older set and after THREE FAILED INSTALLATION attempts, the set remains unusable, not hooked up, and sitting in my condo taking up space. The Geek Squad team keeps leaving because they can't find parking - it's Center City for crying out loud - act like you know what you're doing and come in a smaller truck! Finally I got an independent company to install it and THE WASHER IS FAULTY but CAN'T BE RETURNED because the BEST BUY INSTALLATION TEAM didn't come within the 15 day return policy window. Now I have a ~$2,500 piece of junk that I am stuck with, can't be returned and is too large for me to remove. What am I supposed to do with that? I am filing a complaint with BBB but everyone should save themselves the trouble and GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!!

Krystal help me with my phone case purchase. Walked in, 15 minutes to 9:00pm. I was expecting no one to help me since it close to closing time and you know how that goes. However, I walked into the cell phone area and Krystal offered exceptional service. She recommended a number of choices and counseled me to take my time as I made my decision. When I am ready to purchase my next phone, I am definitely going to come to her as she knows how to take care of her customer. GREAT GREAT SERVICE!!!!!

I don't know what to say about my experience here this Saturday. It was both horrible and good at the same time. We went in looking for a new TV and it took an eternity (half an hour) for a sales associate to actually acknowledge us and help us. That sucked, but then when he started helping us (the guy's name is Greg) he was incredibly, INCREDIBLY knowledgeable about what we needed. We decided on a TV and he sold us on getting a sound bar and an Apple TV as well. We probably worked with Greg for about 45 minutes deciding what to get and what was best for us. When he went back to get the TV he informed us that there were none left, one left in the Montgomeryville location, and none anywhere else. So, we had to start all over in choosing a different TV. We would have ordered it online but he was very adamant that UPS sucks and shipping TVs and he's seen a lot of them come back damaged. It was like every damn thing he showed us was gone! It finally got to the point where he went into his storage and looked to see what TVs he DID have in order to help us decide what to pick. Eventually it all turned out fine and we got what we needed, but it was absolutely a stressful experience (especially because I didn't feel like getting a new TV - that was all my husband). I'd recommend going during the day on a weekday - it'd probably be less crowded and you'd be able to get the attention you need to make a good choice expeditiously.

It is a Best Buy, much like any other.. but the employees are not attentive - or if they are, they don't give an F. I was there for about five minutes looking at the TVs on display and nobody came up to me. I didn't ask someone for help, but employees were goofing around with each other and didn't seem to care about customers that obviously could use assistance. Prices are not that great either. Most things in the store can be purchased off Amazon for a significant amount cheaper.. that's the route I am going.

Geek squad was super helpful. They installed a new battery in my iPhone. Service was prompt, honest and friendly. I had previously tried to go to apple for this and they refused to do it and asked me to buy an entirely new phone. Awesome staff, phone works great. 10/10.

My customer service experience with Oleg at the Columbus Blvd location in Philadelphia was awesome. I have been putting off purchasing a new laptop because I am so computer illiterate. He made the purchase painless and gave me all the information and options that I needed to fit my needs. He was also informative about Geek Squad services and gave me his card in case I had any other questions or concerns. He was a delight. He had a smile on his face and looked as though he enjoyed what he was doing. Going back for tv, phone, gaming devices. Hopefully I get Oleg again. Came to return an item. There are 20 or more tech standing around but only one customer service person trying to deal with several .. people have been waiting for over 30 min. Very unprofessional. This is why people use Amazon.

I walked in looking to upgrade my MacBook to a Pro, not one single sales associate greeted me. There were at least 3 employees who stood behind the counter. Now if this was an instance of the store being overwhelmed with customers, I would understand. However this was not the case. You would think someone would walk over and at least ask me what I was looking for today, but not at all. This has got to be one of the worst ran Best Buy's in the area between Cherry Hill and Mt. Laurel. Please take your business to another store if you have any technical needs.

Completely incompetent. It's taken multiple phone calls and more than two bookings to correct work orders for appliance hook up. There's a washer and dryer sitting unusable that was delivered nearly two weeks ago. I've called repeatedly saying when I'd be available and they're just now attempting an appointment that was canceled. Don't buy anything from this shoddy company. Terrible service.

I hardly ever take the time to write reviews, or bad reviews at that, but this place is the worst. A ton of people working and no one to help you. All I wanted to do was buy a coffee maker. There were hardly any other customers in the store but I got bounced around from checkout to checkout with everyone telling me I needed to go somewhere else and no one helping. I finally put the stupid thing down and walked out.
