Writing on behalf of my wife as she had to block this business from her Instagram after she woke up to long rantings from the business owner. If you’re not happy with your customer, kindly bow out and say you’re busy and can’t take our order. We had multiple exchanges over Instagram messages about design and flavour for our baby’s first birthday cake. They offered a free 2D design topper to fit in our budget which we really appreciated but we asked to see it before putting it on since we’ve never seen that before but instead they got super offended to the request and responded “I don’t need to waste my time” and later when we responded that we didn’t want to give the order because of their rude msgs, they told my wife“…this is not rude, it’s to let those who think the world revolves around them only…”. If you’d think things couldn’t get worse, we were super confused about the flavour pairings since most bakers have one frosting flavour and one sponge flavour so we requested if they had pictures of what the combo may look like. Most bakers have pictures and have no problem sharing it but no, we were told “read my reviews, see my pictures on Instagram and if you want service from a professional you should try trusting one first”. If our requests were so outlandish, a simple response vs lengthy disgruntled messages would have been sufficient from the business owner. I’m sure I’m going to get a lengthy response on this review but who tells a customer twice “I don’t need to waste my time”. Luckily, we started talking to other bakers halfway through the conversation after they misinterpreted our request to see the 2D design first.
I’m sure your cakes are amazing and taste even better, if you have too many customers then don’t take on more if you can’t patiently respond to everyone.
