I had to drop off a box of donuts to some customers so I asked the local coffee shop barista where to go. Buddy told me about this little place, and after a suuuper quick Yelp check we hopped in the car and came over.
Well, this is definitely a hole in the wall. A little dingy, a whole lot of dated and run by one gentleman with limited hours. These type of places really only go two ways; fantastic or total flop. I'll let you guess which camp I think it falls in.
Our friend is a bit of a donut connoisseur and he said that the glazed donut we just got him was the best glazed donut he has ever had!
I very much enjoyed my maple glazed donut as well; it was super fresh, the yeast donut was soft and airy and the glaze was adequately thick. If I am going to splurge on something sweet, that glaze better be gooey and thick when I bite into it; none of that flaky thin-glaze-layer nonsense..no thank you!
Fun fact, when we dropped off the box of donuts the guys told me it was the best donuts place in town; they were very familiar with this little hole in the wall.. and I am pretty sure I scored some vendor brownie points by bringing these. Or should I say donut points?!
