Dear god. After I caught me breath, I realize to my owns that this was likely the best deli I have ever been to. Deserving of the name. Go eat here ya dingus

I don’t have problems with the deli itself. I do, however, have problems with a pie that looks like a kindergartner made it. I noticed the deli employee outside having a smoke break right after I checked my pie and told him it looked an absolute mess. He shrugged, laughed and then acted like I didn’t exist. Rude… won’t be ordering anything hot from here again. Especially not pizza

Love this place. Always friendly and they have what you need. Hoagies are legit. A million times better than WAWA

I ordered breakfast and hoped for the best. It was delicious! The creamed chip beef was excellent and the sausage omelette was just as good. And, I really enjoyed the home fries and the coffee. I’ll be ordering again. Thank you 🙂

The name says it all, Great place!!! Their prices are really good, and they also serve breakfast all day!!! The employees are always nice and make sure I get whatever I need. I recently went here and had forgot my wallet at home. The cashier “Amy” was so helpful when it came to me setting up, and using my Apple Pay!!! She was so nice, patient, and understanding!!! I can’t thank her enough!!! P.S. Get the Breakfast wrap! I got the Bacon, It’s a big size, and loaded with meat, cheese and eggs!!! They also have really big hash brown patties for like .79¢!!! I opened half of my wrap and put a hash brown in it, and it was like heaven in my mouth, YUMMY!!!

Had a very positive experience here. We got a breakfast sandwich and hoagie - both tasty and fresh though I do think they could use more a bit meat on the hoagie it wasn’t as bad as some of the other reviews make it out to seem. Regarding the staff - it’s a corner store… people have bad days but all in my experience the staff were super friendly to me and others while I was there. I’ll definitely be back!

Tried the fried chicken platter, a pizza, and the mega fries. The pizza had very average crust and lots of cheese. The mega fries were the cheesiest, softest things I've ever eaten in my life- they really loaded them up, and this is probably the only thing I would order from here again. The chicken platter, on the other hand, took a long time to finish, and it tasted like a frozen food tasting menu- the mac and cheese was like Stouffer's but worse, the chicken tasted like Banquet fried chicken with an unnatural spiced flavor, and the veggies were bland. This platter really wasn't worth it. The chicken was mushy as well, leading me to believe it really wasn't homemade at all. Bonus point though for selling slices of Stock's bakery pound cake for 2$! Didn't need a whole one but got to try it here. I imagine the deli food here is great, but the fried/warm food leaves a lot to be desires (except for the cheese fries)

Best is a great corner deli! It has sliced to order lunch meat, groceries, and candy. They also carry local products. Zayda pickles are in the refrigerator. If you grew up in Port Richmond, you know how good these pickles are! They're available in hot and sweet-hot. Honestly I've never tasted anything like them! The deli is also selling Stocks during the pandemic because Stocks has been closed. The store is a little tight but that's normal for a corner store in Philly. It's clean and well stocked. The people are super nice! I'm so glad this corner store still exists when so many have gone out of business. It's what makes Philly special!

Such a great selection of food. Their prices are very cheap compared to other places. The customer service is great and they get orders done quick. Highly recommend.

horrible customer service and denied my id even though I'm 21. Also the worker lied and said my id was expired and it wasn't. The bread is always hard, Never again!!!!

Overpriced for what you get. The first time I tried to order a sandwich, they were out of rolls amd bread. Finally ordered a pizza stake a few days later and they did NOT put pizza sauce on it, called and complained they said they could not remake another sandwich because the grill was shut down, this was at 7PM on a Saturday. I will not try ordering anything again.

Some of the food is hit or miss. I like the wings and my wife hates them, so it depends on your preferences. I like this place because it is what it is, a place to get a hoagie that's close to home. They are a full deli, so you can get rolls and lunchmeats (unlike WaWa, which does not sell sliced meats anymore. I wish the outside was cleaned better. It looks terrible from the outside. Smokers frequently gather outfront, and I assume sells drugs or something. They have an awesome Pizza deal, and they deliver, however DO NOT USE GRUBHUB, as it seems like Best Deli does not check their grubhub orders.

Arizona tall cans, chicken cutlet sandwiches, pizza fries, hugs, ketchup chips, sweedish fish, and tons of chips that are flavored as other types of food (aka Mozzarella sticks chips). PLUS on Saturdays.... Lunch meat is dirt cheap!

My family orders breakfast from here a few times a week and they love it. I ordered french toast and turkey bacon and was not happy with it at all. The French Toast was bland and the turkey bacon was gross and fatty. But my family loves it so maybe I'm just too picky.

Best deli has the worst sandwiches ever so nasty and not worth the eight bucks for a large Italian hoagie they don't make them the way you want them to be made there very very nasty Hoagie

Best corner store one could ask for. Their hoagies are out of this world. Ask for the works and you will not be disappointed. Sandwiches are made quick and are delicious.

The services is great and the food is awesome. But for how small the store is it has SO MUCH selection. My new favorite lunch spot.

Stopped in before shopping at Stock's Bakery across the street. I've been passing this place for years without giving them a try. Excellent large American hoagie for just under $ 6.00 including tax. Just the right amount of everything on it. What sealed the deal was the excellent homemade macaroni salad for $ 2.99/lb. Hard to get a decent side like this anywhere. Even Senior Management said it looked good. SM will review the next visit.

Truly one of the best deli's ever! The name completely fits, do try it when you're in the area it's next to stocks bakery.

Can't comment on the actual deli meats, etc. But they make a mean cheesesteak and it's quick and cheap! We call them up every 2 weeks or so. Generally only takes about 20 minutes for the food to be ready for pickup, and the people working there are so nice. Ask them about their pizza pretzels. Not sure it's on the menu officially, but how can you go wrong with a pretzel with pizza sauce and cheese? Also great if you need to stop in for household necessities. A small grocery section (pasta, sauce, cat food, hotdogs, eggs, dish soap, canned soup, etc.). Perfect little neighborhood corner store, and open during snow storms! They take credit cards, but ATM and lotto machine are also on site.

great food, very nice employees, and everything reasonably priced. can't ask for more than that
