I Love this spot. So cute and the smoothies are the best I’ve ever had. Faves are PB Herman and Jerry Berry. Great avocado toast, price is right, cannot go wrong here!

Soooo good. I love this place! The Herry Berry smoothie, the Pinacolada smoothie and the PB Herman smoothie are what we tried and loved. As well as the Aloha bowl, parfait and veggie rolls. Very clean and good quality ingredients, perfect flavors and nice staff.

My partner got me into the café through the delicious smoothies (shout out to Chocolate City and Crystal Almond Joy for being so delicious while still healthy) so I tried the truck for the first time today. Extensive menu of healthy drinks and some snacks. The food truck area is cozy and a pleasant place to wait or enjoy your goodies. However, things come out to you pretty quickly and they have good service.

I found Best Friends by accident, and OMG what a great find it was. I was looking for something good, satisfying and of course healthy. Mission accomplished! I ordered The PB Smoothie bowl. It was filled with seasonal fresh fruit, fabulously delicious granola and supper yummy refreshing ice cooled peanut butter smoothie. The creativity presentation and quality of the this bowl of ingredients was second to none. If you are in the area and are hungry or just looking for a great snack, you owe it to yourself to try them out. Did I mention that it was very substantial? This is something that two people could share with a cup of coffee no problem. As always be mindful and let your food fill you heart and soul with happiness and joy.

Super delicious! Got a Frank Ocean, which has a ton of anti inflammatory ingredients, and highly tasty. It wasn't cold, but my entire cup was filled with juice. I'd rather have more juice than ice, so no issue there for me. Boyfriend got a Jerry Berry, which WAS a very cold smoothie and also tasted quite amazing. Honestly it seems like any option on this menu will be a hit. Definitely will be back again. We came on a sunny day but it's nice that they have covered outdoor seating as well.

Ive eaten smoothie bowls all over portland. This was the one vendor that hit all the marks you would want to start your morning with some fruit, granola and coffee kick. They are so kind and lovely here. If you are in the mood for a satiating breakfast with health benefit, don’t sleep on best friends. So yummy!! Will come back again soon! Dog approved as well!

Stumbled upon this place when walking around. Friendly service offering various drinks to choose from, I ordered the iced matcha. If you want to visit, try to aim for a clear or sunny day. It has an open type setup where the seating is covered by a roof but no door or wall in the front so just a heads up. They also offer toasts, smoothy bowls, and some grab and go items!

A very Portland experience. If you go, you will see what I mean. Maybe a good place to take visitors after a bite at pine state to show them what PDX is about lol. I've only stopped by once and got the Crystal Almond Joy smoothie, which I really enjoyed because it was satisfying and filling without being too sweet. I went on a weekday at around noon. There were maybe 1 or 2 orders ahead of me and they got things out as expected, considering only 1 person was working. I would definitely stop by again and try their other menu items when I'm in the area and am in the mood for a "healthier" treat.

A super cute and quick coffee/ green juice stop along the road. A few tables are available if you need to stop as well, but it's a really convenient stop and go place if you are on the go and in need of breakfast. The menu was also pretty extensive for such a small place, but they have all the morning essentials we needed: coffee, green juices & smoothies, breakfast smoothie bowls and more!

I ended up ordering a chai tea and left with a lukewarm almond milk that tasted like some cinnamon accidentally fell into it. There was one group of four ahead of me and even with three people working it still took 15 minutes to get my tea. Honestly I'm still sad and craving a good chai.

Not only was the juice and the smoothie bowl (chocolate!) amazing, the gentleman making the magic happen took the time to cut up an avocado for our young one and bring it out to us on a small plate. Surprises and delights like that are what make places like this special. Thank you!

What's better than an ice cold smoothie bowl on a cold winter day? That's right, NOTHING. This place has the best smoothie bowls and the crunchy house made granola (that you can purchase separately btw!) sprinkled on top adds the perfect crunch that I look for amidst a musty treat. The bowl was topped with fresh fruit and although my base was made with greens, it still tasted sweet and delicious even though it was healthy. I also tried the avocado toast and it's hard to believe the bread is GF since it is so tender and piled high with fresh avocado and micro greens. The outdoor seating area makes best friend a great place to sit down and relax. The staff is prompt and friendly too! Come here if you want to try the best smoothie bowls in town.

Cute smoothie cart with a strong Portland vibe! All vegan, GF and healthy options :) almond joy smoothie was so good and had a strong almond butter taste with a hint of coconut. Staff was super nice and the smoothie left me feeling refreshed and satisfied. I love the cute dining area and the mermaid mural! New favorite smoothie spot in town.

Cute little food cart with a variety of options and flavors. The crystal almond joy was a great combination of sweet and healthy without being overpowering of only one flavor. The chocolate city did not taste anything like chocolate and all peanut butter, a little too much like peanut butter. The toast was packed with avocado so that was good and nice to get your money worth.

Cozy little juice shop with a variety of breakfast bowls, açaí bowls and smoothies. Tried the best friend drink and it has a nice touch of coconut water. Good flavor and high quality. Will stop again to try more of the menu. Seating available inside with plenty of street parking around the neighborhood.

Quick and reliable service! I tried the green bowl for the first time and it was delicious. I wish they used a different granola because I wasn't a huge fan of eating large granola chunks. However, the base of the smoothie bowl was delicious and refreshing.

Best Friend Juice and Espresso is a charming food truck that serves delicious juice drinks, smoothies, coffee and tea drinks as well as vegan food. Today I ordered their blue rose latte with oat milk. It was amazing. There was a very subtle rose flavor that was soothing to drink. Best Friend does not charge extra for milk substitutions. They offer almond, oat, hemp and coconut milk. I also got their Margalaxy Moon Bars in a container of three. Trust me one is not enough. These are very tasty. The lady who waited on me was super nice. She managed the counter well, waiting on customers and serving their orders quickly. There is a covered seating area with limited space. They are planning to open a brick and mortar when finances are arranged but I hope they keep the food truck open as well. The bus stops right outside and the nearest max station is a very short walk from here.

Stopped in to get a smoothie while waiting for an appt. Not sure if the dude (owner?) was having a bad day or what, but wow was he passive aggressive. The music was SO loud, I had to ask the woman helping me to repeat herself. Then he turned the music down, saw I got a phone call, looked *directly* at me and turned the music up even louder. Not a pleasant experience. Also, my friend and I were the only ones there. Not sure why he was so rude, but yeah.... No thanks, bro.

The staff were so kind, the service was quick, and the drinks are amazing! We got the Jerry Berry smoothie (I want to go back and get it again tomorrow!) and the Frank Ocean juice. Both were heavenly. They have a cute little outdoor seating area and ordering is quick and efficient!

Awesome spot! Drinks are good and staff is friendly. I got the Mean Green juice and my bf got the Daily Green smoothie. The Daily Green was my favorite because it has bananas and coconut so it was sweet. Would definitely recommend.

Looooved this place! Very helpful, friendly customer service. I asked for a plain celery juice and tried their flu kicker. That was one of the best turmeric, ginger drinks I've ever had! Definitely coming back when I come back to Portland!

This is my favorite juice place in all of portland and top 4 nationwide. Fresh ingredients and friendly people this combo makes coming here a treat. Their Açaí bowls are amazing, since they're made to order you can tell them to hold something, or add more blueberries. Also if you live in the neighborhood they will let you bring your own bowl (if Covid isn't insane ATM). I wish every city has a best friends juice cart, also Margo is the best.

This little spot rocks my socks! Me and my partner are always on the hunt for good healthy food and smoothies and this place came up online close to our house. We went two days ago, we went yesterday too and probably will go this morning. I got the strawberry walnut oatmeal which is cheap and damn is it beautiful and filling. I also got a PB Herman smoothie which is so good I can't stop thinking about it. My partner got smoothie bowls both days and he's loving both bowls he tried. If our work schedule allowed it we would be in here every morning. The staff is kind, fashionable and cute and the environment is clean, hip and slightly funky which I like. They got a rad water fountain. Oh, GOOD COFFEE TOO. Go support this team! My new favorite.

Yum! We stopped in for a smoothie and warm coffee on a rainy day and this spot did not disappoint. Margo Mango smoothie has a burst of citrus and perfect texture. I opt for the Golden Milk. All the flavors of turmeric, cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, cayenne, and black pepper are dancing on my tongue. So good I'm now finished with my drink and want to try another. I want to be around this place like I want to hang with my best friend.

I'm not really sure their produce secret, but this is my favorite Portland green juice spot. Shh! Vegan, fresh, and healthy - I'm happy to come here every day. I wish the parking was a little bit easier but you can usually park a block or two away without issue! I wish I had more Best Friends around PDX!

ordered a double espresso with cinnamon and cream. Came out cold. Also ordered a matcha green tea latte. Served me a scalding hot large green tea. I asked again for a matcha latte, so they put milk in the hot tea, and served me that. I went to the counter and started over, asking for a green tea matcha latte with vanilla syrup. Served me a green tea matcha latte without syrup. Asked for syrup, they added it in. The girl who took my order said she "forgot" to tell the barista to make a matcha latte, even though she wrote it down. The barista was clearly high on something, as his eyes could barely keep open. Is this the impression you want to leave customers with? Try working sober, that may help. I won't be back.

I love this place. I've been coming here every few weeks for months. The Frank Ocean is till the best juice ever, now they put Jalapeño in it and it's better than ever. I can always count on friendly thoughtful conversation when I stop in. And the snacks are delicious.

The espresso I had was tasty. I was left a little bummed though when they didn't offer a minimal "Sorry for the wait" when they had forgotten to make my drink, and I'd been waiting a long time. I would have felt a little more noticed as a customer if there was at least a little acknowledgement.

I LOVE Best Friend! I can't believe I hadn't been here until today, considering my office is only a few blocks away. I've become so juice-crazy that I may come to Best Friend every damn day. First of all, the outside is so so cute! Perfect for sunny days and cozy enough for the fall too. As per the menu, there's a great selection of green juices and fruity smoothies (I got the Ameen Green -and it was so balanced and just wonderful)! Margaux, the owner, is also just a ray of sunshine - even during the rushes that happen she keeps calm & is her best self. I will be back to get coffee and smoothies for sure! Thank you, Best Friend, for making my attempts to be healthier easier.

Place looked cool to grab a coffee but the overall experience was not pleasant.... I understand that people have bad days but it shouldn't be taken out on the customer. Cashier wasn't welcoming and seemed to be bothered. Would go back as long as the lemon head isn't working....

The food and drink are meh....ok. But what's worse is the guy who works there, the one who always looks strung out and never wears a mask. NEVER WEARS A MASK!! I live right around the corner from the cart and have been there 4 times in the last 2 weeks and every time I'm there, he never wears his mask. Recently, I witnessed another customer confront him about it and he started arguing with the customer, saying he's not required to wear one. I'm pretty sure food service workers are required to wear them, and picking a fight with a customer for being concerned with public health is a bad look. My time at Best Friend is done. I can't, in good conscience, spend my money at a place with such blatant disregard for public safety. And FYI - a 10 second google search just clarified that masks are indeed required for anyone working in a restaurant in Oregon.

Super friendly staff! I did have to wait a little longer than I thought for the food and drinks but we did order 3 toasts, an açaí bowl, an iced latte and a green tea. Let me tell you about this toast! Super yummy! I got a The Meadow which was super yummy. Berries so fresh and just enough crunch. I shared the Vito with my partner and OMG I just loved it. Just enough tart from the lemon juice on the avocado made the whole toast just pop! Also really love that the whole menu is gluten free since my partner has celiac's. Keep it up!

Ordered through Uber eats while visiting Portland. I got a pina colada smoothie and the salad rolls. Both were fantastic. The rolls are so filling for the price. Smoothies are pricey but totally worth it. Highly recommend!

Hands down my favorite smoothies in PDX. Everything on offer is delicious (try the chocolate smoothie bowl) and healthy. Chan, Margot and the rest of the crew are incredibly nice and give out positive energy. I highly recommend Best Friend. Also, if you order the PB Herman, adding both cacao powder and cacao nibs is so good.

I ordered a smoothie and salad rolls from here through GrubHub. I don't live to far but you never know how a smoothie will be when it arrives... I'm happy to say my smoothie was still cold and thick The Jerry Berry smoothie was amazing and the salad rolls were actually really big and packed with good veggies. I definitely plan to order from this place again.

The best place run by the best people! I highly recommend everything on their menu. My weekend treat is a Matcha latte with hemp milk & my husband loves their Maca mocha with almond milk. Whatever you get will be made with love and delicious ingredients.

This is by far my favorite juice and espresso truck in Portland! I used to live within a block of the truck and go there ALL the time, but then I moved across town and rarely made it there anymore. So just yesterday, after probably 2 years of not going there, I went to get my favorite juice (the frank ocean) and the Portland parfait. YUMMMM! And when I did, they remembered me BY NAME and my order! And they were so excited to see me again (it was mutual!). They always come across as old neighborhood friends and always exude such warmness. And on top of that, their juice, smoothies, and snacks are SOOOO healthy and SOOOO good! It's so apparent that their truck is way more than a business for them. They obviously are trying to share love and inspire health within their community. Thanks Margot and Chan! You guys are the absolute nicest! Can't wait to visit again. :)
