We come to Best Pizza & Brew often and it never disappoints! The pizza is always spot on, the wings are perfectly crispy, and their Greek salad is one of my absolute favorites—fresh, flavorful, and consistently delicious. I love pairing it with a glass of wine while my husband enjoys one of their beers on tap. It’s our go-to spot for a laid-back, satisfying meal. Great food, great vibes, and always a great time!

Fast service for a busy lunch hour on a Saturday. The 2 slices & a pint combo is a great deal! Lots of different selections from beer, cider and seltzers!

Listen. I thought the garlic knots would’ve been the highlight… then the pizza came (and so did I). AND THEN I GOT A HAT WITH A FREE SLICE, OR THE OTHER WAY AROUND BUT YOU GOTTA STOP IN FOR A SLICE. You won’t regret it!

My family had such an awesome time we came two nights in a row! The pizza and beers were delicious. Service was top notch, super friendly staff, Julian crushed it and was very helpful, props to great service! One in our family has a gluten allergy and their gluten free pizza was super tasty, would highly recommend. Great atmosphere with some outdoor seating and family friendly. Will definitely come again and again!

We ordered a couple of slices and a few pints of brew Excellent relaxed atmosphere I had a very good time.

Came here during my vacation and very nice atmosphere. I grabbed their 2 slice and soda combo. Came here twice and both times I had their meat lovers (for the 2nd rotated between their combo pizza and one called margarita or something like that). Pizza crust is nice and toasted even when grabbed from their display (meaning good ovens). Drink wise I tried their IPA (called “the best IPA” ironically) which I can say is one of the best ones I’ve had, so lives up to the two imo. Lastly I had calamari as well because I’m a sucker for that and it was hot and tasted fresh so I’ll assume their fryer was nice and with clean oil. Overall I recommend this spot if you want a fun evening with pizza and drinks.

I love the pizza... my favorite is that they have detroit style pizza by the slice (get the corners!!). Service is great and super attentive... sun was setting when we grabbed our table and they promptly lowered the shades for us.

The pizza was good, I wouldn't say the best as I like a thicker crust and more "stuff". The help was excellent. It was nice that you can pick your slices, then they warm it up.

Best Pizza & Brew - can't say enough about this spot. Both are true! We go here every time we leave Cardiff Beach. Pizza is fresh and delicious, beer is always cold. Great service and they deliver to the beach for parties, get togethers. A+ all around

Stopped by Best Pizza & Brew in Cardiff,l I was instantly greeted by the employees with a positive attitude and a big smile. Zoe first took care of me she was behind the bar which has a phenomenal selection of beers and kombuchas on a nitrogen tap, she was incredibly kind, helpful, and very well informed on the product they were advertising and offered me multiple suggestions which helped narrow down my decision; the sunset slam kombucha by nova and it was fantastic! The food was beyond amazing, I had an order of buffalo wings that you simply cannot go wrong with. I didn't know what else to order so I asked another employee named Reece what she likes and she suggested the mini house salad and it has Gorgonzola cheese in it and I'm not a fan of Gorgonzola and I expressed that to then be instantaneously offered goat cheese as a substitute and it was absolutely amazing nonetheless the dressing tied everything together and I genuinely had a fantastic meal. Because I was so impressed with not only the food but the impeccable service I decided to speak to who i believe are the managers of this location their names were Joe & Erick. I was thoroughly impressed with how friendly and informative they both were on everything involving the business and how it works. I've never had such a pleasant dining experience in my life nor have I ever seen such a wonderful hard working team of locals. I will 100% be returning to this specific location because I know Best Pizza Cardiff is where it's at!

Love the upbeat fun ambience. Great selection of pizza but Corner Pizza and Urbn are better and more in line with NY style. Sauce was a little too salty Nice beer list. My favorite thing on the whole menu though was their signature salad. Absolutely delicious and I ate the whole thing! They also have sandwiches and assorted other appetizers but we didn't try them. Enjoyed the meal here

We ordered pizza for a potluck and had it delivered to my workplace. It came in timely matter. Let's just say we found out that Detroit pizza is a thick crust and rectangular and small for the cost of 18 dollars per pizza Don't get me wrong, it was delicious, but the cost of two of these cost 45 dollars. The pizza was crutchy and cheese burn edged making it crispy and soft inside. These are definitely more like a personal pizza ora small group of 3 people and not for a group especially a potluck at a workplace. We all said that we want to go to the actual restaurant to try the pizza and get drinks.

Was able to try the pizza and chicken wings. The BBQ chicken pizza was good but they have some pretty bomb chicken wings. The chicken was meaty and crispy. The people were friendly and there was a lot of seating inside and outside. They have some pretty good deals on slices and their happy hour looked legit. I think they have $2 a slice during that time. I would recommend sticking to slices as the 12in pizza was $20 and we were still hungry afterwards. The slices were a lot smaller.

While camping at San Elijo, we decided to celebrate a birthday and order five pizzas. Instead of using the app, we walked over to Best Pizza & Brew, to place an order for later. The ordering process was fine friendly service at the register. The pricing felt a bit high however Cardiff is an expensive area and $30 for a pizza seems to be the going rate. In the restaurant there were plenty of smiling employees whirling about doing work. The playlist was a combination of modern pop and classic rock. The TV was playing the Laker game and and Luka Dončić was beginning his career with the Lakers. (Side note: This will begin a new era for the Lakers.) We came back later to pick up our food, five pizzas and garlic knots. The pizzas came out on time, piping hot and ready for transport. We walked them over to our campsite. The pizzas are thin crust and quite tasty. I concur with their high rating on yelp I would not have done anything differently. We fed about a dozen people and they were happy. I'm a picky pizza person and I found this pizza to be quite good. An interesting sidenote, is that, the leftovers were everybit as good if not better than the day we ordered them. To me this seems to speak to the freshness of the ingredients. I find that fresh ingredients often get better with time as they release their flavors and gooo up a bit. There is a competing pizza shop nearby, of which my nephew speaks highly. I will be having a pizza contest within my own family on my next run to San Elijo. I'll keep you updated.

Best Pizza & Brew in Cardiff lives up to its name! The Best White Pizza is my favorite. Perfectly thin, foldable NY-style crust with a light, airy chew. My son loves the meatball sub, which they customize plain just how he likes it. The Best House Salad is always fresh and delicious (great with added chicken), and the Greek salad is solid too. We tried the BBQ chicken pizza last night - it was decent, but I've had better elsewhere; the sauce lacked a bit of flavor. Still, this place is a great local spot by the beach with consistently good food and a laid-back vibe. Highly recommend!

Great food, always consistent. Always a new variety or two of slices to keep things fresh. Best atmosphere for a fund, lourd, family dinner in Encinitas from my perspective. What is maybe most unique is the level of service. It's a pizza parlor that sells a lot of slices... so you really don't expect much... but the people are friendly, attentive and do a great job when they get buys - which is most of the time. We'd ordered some garlic knots and the person taking the order forgot to add them to the order, in fairness... we had a really large, complex orders with a lot of changes so we weren't making it easy. When we asked about the garlic knots they apologized profusely (was totally not necessary) for them not being added to the order and coming out with the rest of our food, but grabbed some quick and didn't charge us. I'd also add that in addition to great pizza, we love the salads that they serve. Always really fresh. All in all, great food, great atmosphere and a level of excellent service you wouldn't typcially expect to find at a pizza parlor.

Been walking down during the week with my buddies for the past few months. Very consistent quality and service. Despite how busy it gets, food comes out timely. Shout out to Connor who made our experience tonight that much better and what prompted me to write a review. He went above and beyond ; not just for us but for the entire floor.

This review is about Sam first and foremost. Excellent service. Young man knows how to serve the customer and his manager should be proud to have him on the team. Next is the food. It's great. Worth it. Beer is good too.

Great open air spot. Road weary I was needing some beer and pizza, so I turned onto chestnut drive and boom right there is a giant sign that said" PIZZA AND BEER"....taking that as a sign from the heavens I decided to venture in on a random Monday (Labor Day). Place is nice, open air. Friendly young lady in the beer/bar area served me a bueanveza...a nice craft Mexican beer and then a very tasty slice of pepperoni pizza! Good stuff! Will come back again next time I'm in Cardiff.

Hands down the BEST garlic knots/pizza crust in San Diego. This is the type of pizza where you will look forward to eating the crust because it is so chewy and cooked to perfection! This is my favorite location of Best Pizza since it's near the water, but you can't go wrong at any of them. The garlic knots are restaurant quality, cooked to perfection, and soaked in rosemary and olive oil. One of the best NY slices in SD!

Pretty basic pizza. The parking isn't the greatest and the venue itself is quite small. They don't have a liquor license but they serve beer and wine. And they also offer lunch specials and different promotions on various days of the week.

Just had the best time at Best Pizza! I'm a regular and always love coming here. Today Chase made our day extra special. My sister & I got a little break from my kids & he felt our vibe & showed us a great time! Everything is consistently delicious & the service is wonderful. Shout out to Megan too! She's a sweetheart

Quick, delicious, good vibes and friendly servers. What's not to like? After a half day of birding and hiking, we were hungry. Our intention was to have lunch mid-day then head out for dinner after sunset. We left Best Pizza full and satisfied. No need for dinner. We each had a slice of pizza + salad special for $11. Very reasonable. The traditional salad was an unexpected surprise. Perfectly crisp and fresh lettuce with apple slices, dried cranberries, candied pecans and feta. The vinaigrette came in the salad and was not overpowering at all..... a sweet lemony taste that was not too oily. I had a thick crust Detroit pizza (pesto, pepperoni and ricotta) and my husband had the goat cheese & pesto thin crust. The pizza is available in the display case and warmed to serve. It might be a tad drier than a fresh-made pizza but we both really enjoyed the flavor and texture. We went back and ordered garlic knots, 3-per order per person. Really tasty. We chose the ranch dipping sauce but both agreed they were better on their own. Though we aren't beer drinkers, there were many cups ordered around us and people seemed content. The view is nice across the busy street, with peeks of the ocean. Both indoor and outdoor seating available. Nice tunes if you like that vibe. Definitely worth a stop. Reasonable prices and attentive, helpful servers.

Great spot with many options. I had the Greek Salad and it was enough to share with 2 other people. The pizza slice from the heated, already made display was dry but still tasted good. We also tried the cauliflower and calamari appetizer and everyone liked them. Great beer selection too. Staff was very friendly.

The kids love going here after sports. It's always busy. Yes the pizza is great but I got their chicken wrap and it was so good! It comes with seasoned thin fries. Beer taps are usually encrusted with ice.... Nice. Very friendly and patient staff. There is plenty of seating and they have tv's on with sports playing. This place is well run.

June 21, 2024 down in the Encinitas area hanging out with my high school friends celebrating their birthdays. So many great places to eat in the area went to best peace and brew in Cardiff by the sea Even though the pizza smelled delicious display pizza look delicious. We decided to go with a couple of cheeseburgers, french fries and their delicious iced tea has to be the best cheeseburger I've ever had from a restaurant in a long time. The customer service was excellent food was excellent. They opened at 11 AM by the time we gotthere at 11:1115 they were pretty busy goes to tell you that this is a great restaurant to eat and I highlyrecommend. parking. Can be a little tight, but if you could find parking on the street, I do highly suggest.

Average pizza and wings.. wings seem pricey for being average.. fun spot for a beer or two though

love! I go or get take out once a week. The Works pizza is my go to-tons of toppings, always. almost always have Cali Creamin on tap! My favorite! Small space so it's noisy when crowded. Great place to hang with a group!

Really good ambience, and fun hang. Clean as well. We vacation a lot here so happy to come by again very close to the campground.

Well, it's been quite a while. After a great dine in experience in 2016, we ordered delivery several times in the last couple of years. And frankly they were all terrible! To be fair, none of them were pizza and many are no longer on the menu. So tonight, I stepped out on thin ice and ordered a large works pizza. The entire experience was wonderful! Placing the order was great, the gentleman who delivered it called while on the way,and best of all - the pizza was delicious! Way.to go, Best Pizza!!!

Stopped in for a couple slices on a Monday night with friends and it was PACKED! Nevertheless, our order came out fast and the service was friendly. Fairly reasonable pricing and the pizza was very good. If you like a thin NY style slice, you'll like this. It was not very greasy either which was nice. They had a Sicilian style slice of the night which also looked very appetizing if you prefer something heartier. Patio is heated.

I need to come on here and write a review for this pizza joint. Bottom line, they were awesome! This is the second time we've been there and the pizza is spot on. Service is excellent! Everybody is friendly and easy-going, but there is attention to detail. My specific experience is as follows. We ordered three small pizzas, cheese, pepperoni, and sausage. They brought us two cheese and a sausage. We told them of the error. They were so apologetic and made everything right so quickly and without any hassle. We were allowed to keep the extra cheese pizza and were given a gift card for the next time we go there. They went over the top to make us lifetime customers! It takes us about 20 minutes to get there from Carlsbad, but it's well worth the trip!

Service awesome hard working young people. Food awesome! Surprised to see on Bicycle night (Thursday's) tons of cyclists after their ride drinking buying your alcohol and drinking In the parking lot not legal and a lot of liability. Complete ABC violation and when someone and something happens your business will be shut down. No accountability with under age drinking In the lot either. Noted friends arriving and being passed alcohol from their cyclist friends who were drinking in the parking lot.

The views of the ocean from the distance definitely set the ambience. The pizza at this location did not disappoint, and the service was fast, friendly, and welcoming. Can't get enough of this place.

SPICY CHICKEN WRAP I'm telling you it is 10/10 with a side of barbecue sauce ahhhh it's the best thing in Encinitas. Whenever I go up there I have that and boy does it taste good. Servers are always very nice to me even if I'm alone. Great spot!!

Wow I love the food, the prices, and Mason. Great service even at an order at the counter establishment they still check on you and clear your plate. We love Best Pizza and Brew and with prices sky high this place kills it on quality, quantity, and price!! Thanks Mason for your wonderful service. Cant wait to come back.

I ordered a 12" buffalo half best white with a side of garlic knots. And they "accidentally" made it a large. Can't complain, haha. The pizza was delicious, so where the knots. It's my first time here on whim, and I'm coming back for sure. I'm a very picky pizza guy, and this pizza hit every check. I'm just waiting to eat the leftovers tomorrow, if any, and that will be my true test of the pizza. Haha. But so far, great pizza.

Came down for ComicCon and had to give this place a try before heading back home. If you are a garlic lover, get the White! Huge chunks of garlic with grilled onions. Super yummy and the spices all came out in no time at all. Very lively atmosphere and all the staff were quick to offer a side of complementary ranch and a to-go box. Will definitely return when back in the area!

Delicious pizza, unpretentious place with good beer selection. Be sure to come in pint night for a good deal on the beer of the day. Came here with the kids, and everyone loved their food. Overall a very positive experience. It really is the best!

This review is way overdue! Best pizza in brew is a phenomenal little chain in San Diego. All locations have amazing food and service. Cheers to the young people with smiling faces and a good attitude. As soon as you walk in your immediately created. It is a really special spot for the community. A great hang out Location with friends or family or a quick stop to pick up some lunch. I love this place! A few of my favorite items include the following. Calamari - do it. Try it. You won't regret it. Squeeze a lemon all over it and dunk them in that marinara sauce and I promise you you will want more. Caesar salad - I am not a salad girl. However, there's Caesar salad is actually fire. The dressing. Yum. All of the cheese. Yum. Those croutons! YUM. You can always get a salad or do you one of their specials, which comes with a salad and a slice of pizza. Who can go wrong with that? Pizza - why is the crust so good? I don't usually eat the crust on any other pizza except for their pizzas. I love me a thin crust, pizza and you will too if you got it from here. My go to is usually the meat lovers. However, there isn't a single topping that isn't great. Best white? Phenomenal. Pesto Goat? Knock me out. Always ask about their special as well! They do different things and spice it up to keep yall on your toes. Oo and try their ranch. You won't regret it. Beer - do I even need to say anything? They also have a beer and slice special. Literally the perfect balanced diet. The Cali Creamin on tap is my go to. Overall, if you don't try this place and become a recurring face, you're missing out. They actually have quite a few locations now including but not limited to Oceanside, Mira Mesa, Vista, Carmel Mountain and Cardiff ofc. I frequent the Cardiff location. However, Oceanside in Mira Mesa definitely did not let me down.

We needed some good food quick without a long wait in between some plans and Best Pizza and Brew was great. Ordering was quick, staff were efficient pouring the beers and drinks that you grab by the bar and they brought our food right out to our table outside. It's a casual relatively smaller spot inside but it doesn't feel cramped with the open-air seating and they have many tables outside too. My brother ordered the salad and a slice which he gets regularly and said it was good. Slice options were the usuals you might see at most pizza spots, but were solid flavor wise with crispy thin crust and nothing was burnt. I'll be back the next time if in Cardiff.

Came in just a few minutes after closing and received the most amazing service from Ximena, Emily and Greg. Any where else would have pushed me away. Not here though. Taking off 2 stars because the pizza came not crispy and slightly soggy due to the doordasher putting the vented pizza box inside another zippered pizza bag to keep the pizza warm. My pizza still came room temperature and not hot, while ruining what could have been crispy pizza

Ordered pepperoni pizza today missing marinera and cheese on half of the pizza. I was eatting baked dough with pepperoni on it. My husband refused to eat friend said that was the grossest pizza he has ever tried to eat. Very disappointed. Now I know why restaurant was empty
