Best Shawarma

In the mood for authentic middle eastern food, a local recommended to me Best Shawarma. Thank goodness I took their advice. I ordered my beef shawarma and was going to get a drink from the fridge until the man running the shop recommend a homemade drink “, Tnakan Akroshka. I figured why not? Beef shawarma was delicious and flavorful and the drink was nice and refreshing. Highly recommend both and would visit again in an instant! 10/10

I crave the OMG fries all the time 🍟🔥 This place does not disappoint, the meats are perfectly cooked always and the menu has a nice variety for all cravings.

The seasoning was spot on, blending savory and slightly tangy flavors that left me wanting more. But what really set this shawarma apart was the balance of textures and toppings. The pita (or wrap) was warm and fresh, hugging the flavorful filling tightly without falling apart. The garlic sauce? Heavenly. The tahini? Silky smooth. And the pickles and fresh veggies added the perfect crunch to complement the tender meat. Every bite was an explosion of flavor, and I honestly can't recommend it enough. If you're craving authentic, mouthwatering shawarma, look no further—this is the spot!

One of the best chicken wraps I’ve ever had. It was so delicious that I’m still savoring it in my mouth. The meat was so tender, fresh and even crispy on the skin. The pink dressing is so good too. Size is average. ($12.99). It’s a small place, few tables but it’s worth it. Sure I’ll be back next time I’m around the area.

I got the 3 falafel with hummus and extra pita and they really are "hearty" as the menu described. Very tasty and I could only eat two. I saved the other one for lunch the next day. The hummus was very delicious. Get the large size if you get the hummus, you'll want extra because its that good.

I must say that this had to be the best BBQ I had for a long time. If you are around Glendale and craving something but undecided on what to have? You should definitely stop by "Best Shawarma" place and try one of many menu's they have. You can't go wrong no matter what you choose. Everything is fresh and excellent. The staff is extremely helpful and their customer service is above and beyond. Thank you guys. Will be back for lunch tomorrow as well.

Of all the shawarmas in Glendale, I think this is now my favorite one. Went here for a quick grab and go for lunch and ordered the chicken wrap and it was so good. The chicken was super tender and the sauce was the perfect addition to the wrap. The man at the counter was super sweet and friendly and makes you want to come back and support this business. I'll definitely be back for more! P.S. wish I had taken pics of my wrap but I inhaled it before I could! Happy eating!

I can't deny, one of the best shawarmas I have had in a while. They do have a lamb shawarma, which is somewhat a rarity these days. I got the Lamb Shawarma Wrap with lavash and it was great. Very classic Armenian style, nothing extra, just the meat, veggies, herbs, and the sauce. They use real charcoal for their grills so I am definitely coming back to try more.

Oh my god. The first 3 words out of my mouth full of delicious pork, fries, and whatever else they put in this thing. The guys here are super nice, always will to accommodate, and the food is fantastic. I appreciate the outdoor seating for the fresh air too.

By far my favorite shawarma place in LA. It's a nice hidden spot and they give you plenty of food for the price you pay, I usually get a lamb plate. The OMG fries are good but I don't think it is worth the money. There are a few tables and it seems like most people usually get take away so going down and getting seated is super easy and convenient. It is a fast casual restaurant so you order at their register and then pay and then they bring you the food at your table. They have a TV playing turkish(?) music videos which I found amusing but it's not that loud so you can have a nice casual dinner here in peace.

Wow the chicken was very well seasoned & had so much flavor. The customer service was amazing! The guy taking our order was very welcoming & seemed happy that we were enjoying the food. The drizzled sauce on top of the chicken shawarma plate really was the cherry on top. Perfect casual spot that has indoor seating as well.

This was always my favorite shawarma place. I have told anyone who would ask to go there. And I'm sure the food is still delicious...but Checking out their jaw-dropping price hikes breaks my heart. $20 for a wrap? That's an over 50% increase. $28 for a plate??? $28??? I think they got carried away and I hope this isn't permanent. Look at the photo of their old menu prices. 2025 truly sucks.

I had a lamb wrap and my wife had a beef wrap and it was super delicious! They have a ton of things on their menu so anyone you bring here is sure to find something they'll love. They also suggested a yogurt drink that was pretty dang good. They live up to their name, this really is the Best Shawarma I've found in the LA area. They check all the boxes!

I've been to so many Mediterranean spots, but this place stands out. The food is incredibly flavorful, fresh, and the best. I tried the shawarma plate and it was perfectly seasoned and.The garlic sauce and sides brought everything together so well. The vibe is super cozy and welcoming. I definitely recommend

Great place if you're looking for really good shawarma. Ordered the chicken shawarma plate with extra chicken for $7. Total was $28 but for the amount of food and the quality that you get, it is definitely worth it. The service is definitely a plus here. They're very fast and also super friendly, especially the cashier. The overall ambiance is clean and welcoming. There's also decent amount of parking spots in the lot.

Name says it all...it really is the best shawarma! Most of the time I eat out, I regret it. Not the case with this place. Delicious, filling, but doesn't make you feel horrible after like most places. Loved it and will be back for sure.

I honestly love coming to eat here. I always get the pork or lamb shawarma plate or the omg fries with pork or lamb. Everything about this place is so good. Their service is great and everyone is super friendly. Their seating area has 5 tables but plenty of chairs and outside seating as well. They have nice music playing every time I come and it's a very welcoming environment. Definitely recommend coming here.

Terrible shawarma--very expensive and a very small portion. They put some meat, cabbage, and onion, and that's it. You take two bites, and it's gone. Just a scam for customers. I highly do not recommend it. $17 for absolutely nothing. The meat is oversalted and old. They stuff it with a bunch of cabbage, a little bit of meat, and a ton of sauce to cover up the taste of the meat.

This is best place to get your lunch/dinner. I'm here atleast 2 times a week at this point. Varugh and Edgar are truly the best people with the best attitudes. I love everything they recommend. Definitely a 10/10

I had been here so many years ago, and didn't have a special experience. My husband and I decided to try one more time and I really happy that we gave an another chance. There is a small indoor dining with 5 tables max and some outside. We ordered to plate shawarma one with lamb and one with pork. They both were super delicious and it get ready so quickly. I love the variety of the shawarma that they have, pork, lamp, chicken and beef. This place is one of the best shawarma places in Glendale area.

Truly lives by the name! You won't find better Shawarma in Glendale or otherwise - and that is tough in Glendale. They always have me in here, Pork Shawarma wrap is the best thing ever. Top tier customer service, and the vibe is sick. They also run the wing stop next door. Great addition to the Glendale community.

This place is good. Simple and done, walk in order wait and eat. quick little meal but it goes a long way. The meat quality is good and it's just a good small little local environment. My only complaint would be the price but its is almost always worth it. Would recommend.

The best! Literally so many good things to say about them. The food is amazing! The quantity, quality, price, service !! I've tried so many shawarma places in Glendale and Pasadena and by far this is the best ever. I usually get the OMG fries and then the beef shawarma wrap. My family love the lamb plates. 100% would recommend if you're in tujunga area and need some good munch!

The dudes here might look intimidating and scary but They chill ain't gon lie. Also the music they blast is fire even though if your a generic American or don't understand the language you may not like. Music go hard though. The food hella good and I been tryna find the sauce they use. Lmk if you know what it is. Anyway the people chill and service is nonchalant but you will get good food gang just give it a try.

Best Shawarma was a last minute dinner stop in the area, first time customer. The OMG fries with lamb were sauced well, a little extra seasoned, but overall good for the value and was filling. The falafels were very large, a smaller fist size, and though they were fresh and flavorful, i did find them a little on the dry side. I'd definitely come back to try more on the menu, it's in a very convenient area of Glendale and the 134. Though no other customers were inside, it did take us roughly 15mins for our order to be ready.

Food quality and customer service were both very disappointing. We tried The chicken kebab and shawrma. The kebab was all wasted since no one from our group of 4 wanted to take a second bite. The shawrma was nothing close to a good shawrma we get in other places. Not recommended.

Solid shawarma spot! The sauce brought it all together for sure. I could have used some more salad and less rice, but I still liked what we got. I'd try the wrap next time.

The name really speaks for the quality of the food. My favorite shawarma place by a long shot. But the best part going to this place is seeing the cashier greet you with a smile. Love it! Love the music they play. Sometimes I just stay there to listen to the music.

Placed a big order and thought it would take longer than usual. Arrived a lot earlier than the estimated time it said it would be ready and the food was actually hot and ready! The food was great! From the rice to the salad to the proteins, everything was cooked very well. The workers were also very friendly.

Sorry, must disagree with the hype on this one. My Lamb shawarma was terrible. The meat was grizzly and tough to chew, not to mention pretty darn stingy with the portion size overall. The falafels were oversized and raw in the middle. No decent sauces. I left with a $27 hole in my pocket and struggled to get through my meal- not happy. Oh well- live learn. Either they are loading the reviews from friends and family or the patrons really don't set the bar very high- not sure?? You got me on this one Best Shawarma. Will take my $ to one of the many other Swawarmas places nearby next time.

Love this place!! Kabob plates are amazing. Wraps are great and the OMG fries are to die for. They have the best food and the best people working there.

Customer engagement was great guys at the corner seemed to have good personalities. My 2 star review leans towards some of the 5 star reviews on here seem like they are fake accounts. I was looking for some good food late at night and came here based on the amount of 5 star reviews. Placed my order maybe 2-3 other tables there I think if he mentioned up front the plate would take 20-25 minutes I would have felt ok about it. I waited and it honestly felt like my order was forgotten about, since he asked how I would like my meat cooked I asked for medium came out well done. Again if it wasn't even an option I wouldn't have minded. Seating is limited maybe about 15-20 people inside some outdoor seating. Considering price, wait time, and some questionable yelp reviews I don't see my self coming back.

Best Shawarma I've ever had! A must try place. Not only is the food incredible but top-notch service every time. Everything is great on the menu but highly recommend the beef shawarma wrap and chicken plate!! Don't forget to ask for their secret sauce and side of tzatziki you won't regret it. Love this spot, been coming here for a few years. I always get their chicken shawarma or falafel shawarma wrap with pita bread. They make it nice, saucy and fat and don't cheap out! The service is quick and they are always so nice. A cute hole in the wall spot for a quick or sit-down bite.

This place is sooo good! The portions are hefty and the chicken shawarma was flavorful and juicy. The falafel was also really tasty. Service was friendly and we will definitely be back!

I got the chicken shawarma plate and the serving was so generous! It could easily have been two full meals. It came out about 15 minutes after I ordered. The garlic sauce was amazing, I'd come back just for that. It's not much to look at from the outside. It's not much to look at from the inside either, but it is clean with a good amount of seating!
