The Best Gazpacho in Portland, Oregon | Eater Portland

"Named not for a restaurant founder, but for the neighborhood in unincorporated Washington county on the outskirts of Northwest Portland, Bethany’s Table offers Northwest comfort bistro food emphasizing locally grown produce, meats, and seafood. Gazpacho is typically be a regular soup special once local tomatoes are in season — one recent offering involved a watermelon-tomato gazpacho with fresh mint. Bethany’s takes particular care in its Northwest wine list; consider a Willamette Valley glass pour as a pairing." - Nathan Williams

Where to Eat and Drink After Visiting Portland’s Forest Park | Eater Portland

"Washington County dwellers access Forest Park from trailheads seldom known to Portlanders, and post-hike dining options can be equally off the radar. Well worth the trek for even far-flung eastsiders is the relaxed, inviting European-style bistro Bethany’s Table. The menu leans more Italian than French, with house-made pastas and deep commitment to local, seasonal ingredients. Pair entrees with tasty wines from the newly remodeled climate-controlled wine cellar, or grab dinner components to-go from the marketplace, including impeccable Bolognese sauce (with a vegetarian mushroom version), chicken liver mousse, and rounds of chocolate chip cookie dough." - Nathan Williams

We had a wonderful dinner at Bethany's Table. I was thrown by the appearance of my Lasagna, but it tasted delightful. The atmosphere was relaxed as if you were setting in someone's home. Great conversation and food.

I was excited to try the food at Bethany’s Table because of the many positive reviews. Dinner got off to a great start with some excellent bread and salad. The decor and music in the restaurant is also pleasant and sets a nice atmosphere. Unfortunately, my party’s entrées were underwhelming for the price. I had the “spicy” sausage rigatoni which was tasty but not spicy at all. The $42 salmon was also a small portion and not any better than what you could grill at home. The service was average. No complaints, but nothing exceptional. It wasn’t a horrible experience by any means, but I don’t plan on returning.

Bethany’s Table is such an iconic vibe. It still maintains an early 2000’s simple, chic, and cozy atmosphere. It’s reminiscent of a simpler time. The food is more simple, but Chef Janet & Co know how to do it well. The prosciutto wrapped dates were perfection. My cacio e Pepe was divine. My husband had the spicy sausage rigatoni. Old classics done in their highest form. The drinks were phenomenal. And that special panna cotta with mixed berries that was Elise’s grandma’s recipe? Brought me to tears; the creamy density with the sweet sans tartness brought me to joyous tears. All reasonably priced. I cannot wait to go back.

I like the simplicity of this restaurant. The menu is easy to understand with just the right number of items that do not overwhelm the customers. The drinks options are on the contrary so many, which I really appreciate Cocktails, wines, beers and liquor are all available. Though the menu appears simple the taste of every dish is complex and yet so delicious. You can tell the chefs are paying attention to detail and curating flavors to ensure a great dining experience - it's not only about filling the bellies of the patrons here. Be sure to ask about the daily specials not on the kenu. I tried the smoked salmon in tomato sauce and it was amazing! Tenderloin is absolutely wonderful and is nicely smoky and very juicy. The beef ribs fall off the bone and were cooked just right. The creme brulee twist served in half a lemon was tasty and got a top score from a presentation perspective. This dessert went particularly well after my smoked salmon entree. I also washed it down with a double espresso which was creamy and delish! This is a great place for special occasions and the prices are above average However, the experience is worth every cent! Great place!

We had our year-end lunch at a friend's favorite restaurant. We hadn't been here in two years, but the comfortable atmosphere was still the same. My husband and I shared market fish and grilled cheese with wine🍷 and cocktail🍸. Our friends ordered the chicken breast sandwich, cheeseburger, soup and salad set. 🥗 We had a great time in this small but bright and stylish restaurant with lots of windows.😊✨

A little gem in Bethany Village. Sturgeon bites with a to-die-for a lemon aïoli, fried artichoke hearts with garlic aïoli, fresh pasta with local crab, a very healthy portion of amazingly fresh-tasting halibut w bright green broccoli rabe / zucchini / green beans and finally, lemon crème brûlée served in a whole lemon rind! What’s not to love? Our waiter Stephan was knowledgeable, funny and friendly. And if he didn’t know an answer (e.g., how dry was a particular Riesling), he asked :) Almost forgot to mention the artisan-crusty sourdough bread made by the owner that morning. I usually go easy on bread but not last night. Duck breast carpaccio was too bold for me — even though I’m into cooked game — despite it being impeccably rendered with an arugula and fresh fig salad.

Always delicious and food quality is consistent. Tonight’s dinner was the Sunny Bella pasta. Pro tip: ask for the bread. They make the absolute best bread, chewy on the inside, crunchy on the outside.

It was so nice to see in Portland's ruins of the food industry that there is still a place that could provide you with a classic restaurant service. You can't be right for everyone all the time, but this guy's hit all stars in our experience. Service was spotless, not annoying, not fake, but truly caring and perfectly timed. The food was great, cocktails and wine lists are on a spot, and bartenders could make you one on a fly based on your desire. We live close by and will definitely come back. Thank you guys for surviving and thriving in such a hard time for the restaurant industry. Keep it up.

Yelp
I think we have found our new favorite restaurant in the area that features incredible pasta etc. We visited Bethany's Table last Wednesday, and we had a wonderful visit. My wife hade the Cacio e Pepe, (a bit strong of truffle) our daughter had the wonderful Sunny Bella and I had the remarkably presented Lasagna. Everything was excellent. We started with an excellent bottle of L' Ecole Frenchtown 21. We then moved into two appetizers, the Arancini that was filled with short rib and rice. The flavor was so good. Then we also shared the Fried Artichoke. It has been a long time since I have seen that on a menu, and it was fantastic. The lemon aioli was a great accompaniment. My daughter and I did share a Caesar Salad and it was perfect. I did not like the $2 split charge. We did not need separate plates. The accompanying bread was incredible as well. The server Joseph, was friendly and very engaging. He was training that evening, and we could see why, as he was extremely knowledgeable.

Yelp
I became physically ill for the first time in over 20yrs, 7 hrs after eating here on Christmas Eve......so that was my early Christmas morning. No one in my home was sick like me, because I was the only one who ate the crab pasta. The ambiance was lovely; the service was ok. I hate to leave such a bad review, but I don't want anyone else to get sick.

Yelp
We had one of the most awkward afternoon teas here. I have been to quite a few but this one was certainly the oddest. I don't know if this really reflects the restaurant as it seemed to be a pop up event. I came with a friend expecting to be given our own table so that we could catch up, to our surprise, we ended up being ushered to a back room with one long table where all guests were expected to sit family style. The seating was awkward as sitting across from each other meant you had to bump elbows with strangers so we opted to sit next to each other. Tea selection was decent enough but you share a small pot of water with at least 4 people so when we filled our cups the first time, one person didn't even get to fill up because we ran out of water. The highlight for afternoon tea for me is the warm scone with clotted cream. That wasn't on the menu. Instead, a cold Brazi bite from Costco and apple butter. Odd choice. All dishes were shared. Again, very awkward considering you're sharing food with strangers. The amount of food was also mismanaged. We were given (for a shared table of roughly the 4 of us) 5 sandwiches of one sandwich, 6 of another and 3 of one more. When I asked about the one that was missing, the server shrugged and said "someone in the back must've ate one" uhhh what? Whenever they were ready to bring out another plate, they would remove the previous plate, even if there was still food on it, and put it in the back of the room making it inaccessible to at least 3/4 of the room to get to. Now I'll give credit where it is due. The food itself was delicious. Sandwiches were tasty but that was the only positive of the night unfortunately. If you're visiting this page for the afternoon tea, I urge you to go anywhere else.

Yelp
Service and food was amazing - fine dining. Attention to all the details. Such a treasure to find in the suburbs!

Yelp
First off, I was so excited they were open for a special Dads and Grads brunch! I mean $30 for adults and $12 for kids and we were so satisfied and full! I truly wish they were open more often for brunch! Trust me, we'd be here routinely if they were! The price may seem high to some but when you consider it included coffee, fresh fruit (berries, grapefruit, nectarines, and cherries - just to name a few, an assortment of pastries, and choice of main dish, it truly was a deal! Our waiter, Justin, was so funny (and attentive) too! And with two toddlers, the restaurant was more than family friendly to our group of nine! And lastly, the huevos rancheros was absolutely to die for! Spiced just right with a wonderful hint of lime flavor - a definite must try!

Yelp
Super cozy extremely flavorful food and the best servers. Will be headed back to this place. We had the steak bites which were flavorful and cooked to perfection. The spicy shrimp and polenta. The carbonara was amazing and rich with handmade noodles. Altogether the perfect balance of rich and savory food for a filling dinner all under $100 for two people.

Yelp
After 3 days of craving great pasta, I FINALLY found it at Bethany's Table. And thank goodness! Staff were very kind and engaging. Based on my observations, this is a place for the locals. Ambiance is warm and calming. Although it does sound loud on the other side of the bar area. The sherry chicken liver mousse is absolutely decadent! The Caesar salad was good. The salad comes with the right amount of cheese and dressing. The croutons are large and delicious. And CLEARLY I loved their house made pasta! I had the spicy sausage rigatoni. It is spicy and the sausage is similar to a soppressata in terms of flavor and consistency. I will be back!!

Yelp
I can always rely on Bethany's Table to provide a welcoming ambiance, great service, and delightful food. I grew up in the Bethany region going to Bethany's Table before its renovation, so I've loved seeing it grow since its makeover. I always go for the crab pasta which never disappoints, additionally, their array of appetizers are great if you're looking for something to munch on with a drink rather than have a meal. Every time I've visited the service I receive is wonderful, especially from a waiter named Brook. My family and I often see him whenever we visit Bethany's Table, his welcoming and joyful demeanor always makes our time there enjoyable. Overall if you're looking for good food and welcoming service in a nice area, I'd recommend checking out Bethany's Table.

Yelp
Haven't tried the food here yet, but I love the drinks and service! Mikey was our server, and he was so kind and helpful throughout our time here. He made us feel at home, and most importantly, made sure that our glasses were always full haha. I have no complaints about any of the cocktails I tried; all yummy and strong. Ambiance is cute, classy, but casual enough so you don't have to dress up to blend in. The lights are a cozy mood, and it's clean with big windows. Perfect place to grab a drink with friends or go on a date.

Yelp
This cute little marketplace was opened during the pandemic for grab and go items made by the chef/owner of Bethany's table. She does small catering orders and to go orders from here. Wonderful house made pastas and a variety of sauces to help make your dinner plans easy. Grab some fresh bread and dessert and you're all set. They have some great local featured items and a good variety of wines. Stop by and check it out or make reservations for Bethany's table next door. It's kind of a hidden gem in the back of the restaurant that has a speakeasy vibe. The restaurant has a cozy ambiance with delicious food made from the heart. Stop in for a tasty dinner or grab a quick dinner to go.

Yelp
I went to Bethany's table for a work lunch this week at the recommended of a colleague. I immediately loved the upscale vibe and had high hopes for the food as well. The service was great overall, but the wait times after ordering were long. The whole meal took about 2.5 hours. We started with the crispy artichokes and crab cake. Both were delicious, but I was a bit blown away that the $20 crab cake appetizers only included one single small crab cake, which was about four bites worth. Crab's market price is expensive at the moment, but I've never seen a crab cake appetizer that didn't include at least two. Similarly, when I ordered the market fish dish, which was salmon, it seemed to only be about 4 ounces. I've never seen salmon in a restaurant portioned below 6 ounces. We also ordered the pear and apple crisp for dessert, along with the best espresso martini I've ever had. Overall, everything was delicious, but based on the contrast between the portion size and price point, I will most likely only come back if it's once again on my employer's dime.

Yelp
***UPDATE BELOW*** I want to preface this review with a note that I in no way intend to base the entire business off of my one experience and will try eating here another time. That being said, I finally tried this place on Mother's Day because of the adverts I've seen the last couple of years and told my husband to reserve a table at 11. I was hoping to sit in the main dining room or outside to take in the nice day, but ended up in a back private room with low lighting - not a big deal as we have 5 people and it's probably the best space for our party. It did take a while to get some attention and order so my husband got up to make sure we weren't out of sight, out of mind. When the food did come it was FAST - a little TOO fast. I soon realized why. Our food was lukewarm at best and a little bland - we didn't get salt and pepper on the table and could've asked, but were too hungry to wait. I realized that this was the special Mother's Day Brunch menu and that likely, the food is not made to order so as to keep up with the business demand of the day. It was apparent that our food was sitting for a while under heating lamps and that there was likely a regular assembly-line style order to which food was prepared. As a result, it was underwhelming as I imagine the food would normally be better on a typical day. Especially frustrating was the $45 dollar a head price for non-made-to-order food. I write this only to provide feedback to the owners that the operational structure of the service was noticeable and that maybe a reevaluation of process for the next big event is warranted. It felt like a sacrifice of quality for efficiency. I will try, as I said, again on a typical weekend morning, assuming this isn't the regular brunch experience. ***UPDATE*** I went back and boy do I love being right! Right in that I knew my initial experience was not typical and this place deserved another try. I decided to try this place again for my anniversary after speaking with the lovely owner, David, who was very receptive to my feedback, clearing a few things up, which was very appreciated. Turns out I was wrong in a few of my assumptions and its refreshing to speak to a restaurant owner who is open to feedback and genuinely cares about the customer experience. Anyway, I returned for dinner and it was AMAZING! The food was delicious - I had the halibut on special, and my husband had the chicken marsala. The service was also excellent. I'm terrible with names and wish I could call him out specifically, but our server was awesome and so, so funny ;) I truly had an special time for my 17th anniversary and will definitely be coming back - honestly, this is the best restaurant in all of Hillsboro / Bethany, nay, NW Portland! Finally, my suggestion is that we all try to understand that sometimes everyone has an off day, and that's okay. Never base your opinions of a person, establishment, or experience on one instance alone or you might miss out!

Jeff E.

Yelp
Food was ill prepared. I ordered pork. It was way under cooked. Things are way over priced for the quality of the offerings They add a healthy/ wellness fee to your order. This would be better factored into the price They charge extra for using your credit card again, factor it into the menus price The restaurant is noisy I'll NEVER go back !!!!!!
google avatar

Regina M.

Yelp
Used to really enjoy coming here to celebrate special occasions but that's not going to be happening anymore. Last visit was so disappointing. Smaller portions, higher prices & then surcharging 10% for credit cards! Not to mention adding another surcharge for employee health & wellness. $22 for a very small family size salad? $30+ for tiny pasta portion? Nope. I understand inflation is a factor but we just felt ripped off. Not going to be darkening their doorway again. Btw the chicken was overdone - dried out & tough.

Jay A.

Yelp
I would be vigilant and cautious to stay away from the owner and this establishment. He contacted me at 4:00 am in the morning harassing me on why I haven't replied to his email / text regarding employment. How unprofessional and what a creep , I felt so uncomfortable and scared. If you take a look at the one star reviews I'm not the only one.

Yelp
Bethany's Table is amazing in every way. What an absolute gem this is for the Village of Bethany. It rivals any top tier restaurant you could find in the greater Portland metro area. Service is always top notch. Fantastic gourmet class meals suitable for lunches or dinners. Top tier wine and drinks options. Great vibe and atmosphere. Suitable for couples, small parties, large groups, or solo. And the owners and staff clearly put their hearts and souls into not just the restaurant, but into the community. Top notch but never any pretentiousness. You will feel at home and welcome here. So refreshing to have all this right here in Bethany. Highly recommended.

David N.

Yelp
Friendly staff, food was good and cocktails were great. It was a bit pricey for what we got, but it's a nice date night place in the Beaverton area for sure.

Christina C.

Yelp
The owners really care about their business. After a bad experience, management reached out to us and apologized. We came back and the customer service was great and the food was yummy. The kids prices are amazing.

Yelp
I've been eating & drinking at Bethany's Table for years, and I've never thought to give them a shout out on here. So, I'm going to rectify that right now. Beyond exquisite, fresh, and delicious cuisine, you can feel the heart and personality when you dine here. Whether a large dinner party with friends, family meal, patio glass of wine, or belly up to the (gorgeous) bar for an intimate date night this is a wonderful place to enjoy food, drink, and community. Things I love: Locally sourced produce, high quality meat & fish, and food that show creatively. Fun cocktails and an excellent wine list. During the pandemic, our family was dining outside when it started to snow, the owner brought extra heaters and chatted with us in the freezing cold for a generous amount of time. During their remodel we loved hearing the excitement and intricate details of the design. The authenticity of what they are doing here is unique and definitely worth the trip to the suburbs! Well behaved dogs are welcome on the patio.

Yelp
We were given a gift certificate for this restaurant - we'd never even heard of it. Very nice place, we will be back, especially if we have guests and want a reliable good meal. We tried it for a weekday lunch and were the first to arrive when they opened. Tables are a bit close but it's a cozy place, lots of natural light and attractive. The owners were out shmoozing with customers while we ate, which was entertaining, and service was good. Food was good, nothing we haven't seen before but it was all executed well and ingredients seemed fresh. We tried an appetizer, two entrees and a dessert and we had drinks with dessert. I don't have a bad thing to say but I also wasn't wowed by anything, which makes this a solid 4 stars, maybe a hair more if I was feeling generous. If you're looking for a nice restaurant for a very comfortable meal, this is your place. No surprises here, which can be a very good thing!

Yelp
Good service and food, love location. Many of us moms meet here and have many of laughs here.

Yelp
Waited several months for the remodel the place is super comfortable, the food is delicious, the service was amazing. Everything we ordered was a treat for this foodie. Mouthwatering goodness always my compliments to the chef and staff for making it a wonderful experience.

Yelp
I have been to Bethany's table a few times and am consistently impressed by the quality of the ingredients they use. The food is outstanding. I especially love the risotto when it has no meat in it. Ask for a side of roasted veggies to mix in. So good! As for the new construction, there are still nice little spots to tuck into which keeps the cozy nature of the space. Some staff are kinder than others, but overall I found them to be true service professionals.

Mark M.

Yelp
After receiving an invitation to return from the owner, David, my family and I returned to Bethany's table for a birthday dinner celebration for my wife. I asked to speak to David to let him know we were there and appreciated his return invite. He shared with me that he told no one about my return visit based on the initial review...so I feel confident the staff and preparation of the food were not preppe in advance for our visit. The staff was amazing and very attentive. We could not have asked for better service. The food was esquisite, and every plate was as good or better than expected. Thank you David for listening with an open mind and inviting us to come back and try again. It was well worth it and we will definitely be back. Cheers!

Yelp
Great place for a special occasion dinner. We enjoyed taking visiting family here, but they were also able to accommodate my 3 year old so we could all enjoy a night out.

Yelp
Food is always excellent with exciting new choices and specials. Housemade bread is always marvelous and the beet salad was especially good last night. We go there often and ALWAYS look forward to Janet's creations. Beverages are special too.

Yelp
Great service. Try the sturgeon bites. The Arancini was good too. Nice ambiance. Good wine list too.

Yelp
This is a great place to eat --- if you aren't too hungry and don't care about getting a good bang for your buck. I ordered a hazelnut gorgonzola (I think? The crumbles were so microscopic, I can't remember if they were bleu or gorgonzola. Sorry. The hazelnuts were chopped so finely, it was difficult to identify those too.) Those were mixed with standard mixed greens. The salad was smaller than most places' side salad and cost $12. See what I mean? Cup of tomato basil soup was very good! I had just opted out of a cream based soup which I had told the server I don't do. She didn't say whether this soup had cream or not. I'm assuming it didn't but it would have been nice for her to tell me. Served with two baguette-width and thin slices of delicious Italian style bread. Just wished I had more! I think one was meant for my friend! Service was okay. Server had a slightly creepy pasted-on smile every time she came by. However, the point is she did come by on a regular basis to check on us. Or I wouldn't have noticed the smile. My bill came to $21.42. This is a fine price for a sit down lunch --- assuming the portions are satisfying. I told my friend I needed a snack as we were leaving. and as an added bonus, on the drive home, my stomach was growling. Oh dear.

Yelp
I wish I could have liked this restaurant because the service was amazing but the food was super disappointing. Service was super good. My partner and I were seated quickly and outside, which I had preferred. Our server was super friendly and provided great service during this whole experience. Everyone at the restaurant was super friendly too. My partner and I had ordered the crab pasta, halibut and a citrus passion gimlet mocktail which we were both extremely excited for since our server said they were all great choices so I had high hopes. Just when our food arrived and my partner and I dug in to try, i was disappointed. The crab pasta had little to no flavor. The strongest flavor was pasta water. The seafood broth wasn't present flavorwise. It just tasted like water. The pasta itself tasted bland, as if it didn't soak up the seafood broth flavor. The halibut was very 5/10. 5 being that only the roasted vegetables and potatoes were good. The seasoning for the vegetables were amazing. Id buy a side for just those if they were on the menu. The fish itself just tasted like fish. Nothing special. The drink itself tasted like a lush bath bomb, very perfume tasting. Maybe I chose the wrong drink who knows but it wasn't that great. Overall, the service was pretty good and the servers were very attentive and friendly. The food unfortunately was disappointing. Maybe would give it another try if anything changes in the future.

Yelp
I used to visit the restaurant regularly when they first opened years ago. Service was good and prices were reasonable. Went to dinner last night and t our waiter was extremely pompous and made it difficult to connect in any level despite multitalented efforts, I just shut down after the third attempt. He has another person shadowing him and he was so pleasant and nice (I would love for home to take care of our table if we return). It also appeared that pompous guy works the room and goes overboard for a certain type of clientele. Frustrating to not have a friendly server. We ordered the salad special and didn't realize that there was going to be a gigantic hunk of blue cheese on top of the lettuce. The slice took up half the plate. We are some of it and let the rest to get thrown out. Not sure why anybody would want to eat a one inch this slice of blue cheese that was so large. Prices are getting on the higher side, post covid, so we will probably not eat here again. The steak bites were good, but a few were undercooked and extremely chewy.

Ed M.

Yelp
Great food, wonderful service and I love the atmosphere, but Customers beware, they "Nickle and Dime" you with extra charges. More concerning is they don't warn you. At first they added a "Covid" fee to the bill which eventually they took away, but they then added a "wellness / health" fee for their employees (which I am happy to accept as they do a wonderful job), but now they added a % fee to the bill if you pay with a credit card! That was the "last straw" and decided to no longer use them for my business team meetings (which we do once a quarter) and for personal use as most of the time you don't carry 100's of dollars in cash with you. The owners need to understand that the cost of doing business cannot always be transferred to the Customer. The product they offer should cover their costs and provide a good margin / profit. If not, then it's better to add a little more to the price of their food vs. adding a "Credit Card Fee". They state they are transferring the credit card administrative fees to the Customer, but they didn't even advise us before hand. They are not really Customer centric in my opinion. Again, they have great food, service and atmosphere, but they need to stop the "Nickle and Diming" of their Customers. Until that stops, I have decided not to go any longer.

Yelp
This place was great! The staff was really educational and hyped about the food. Everything we got was great, but wanted to shout out the pastas we got, lasted us two meals.

Yelp
Absolutely divine experience! I took my friend there for her birthday, and we both ordered the polenta and prawns. It was so delicious. I had no words to describe it to the waitress! We will definitely be back. The service from the person who sat us, to the waitress, to the overall quality of food was impeccable. Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
Great food and service! The restaurant is cozy and has an intimate family owned vibe which we enjoyed. We celebrated my mom's birthday and were very well taken care of! Highly recommend the fried artichokes, langostino pasta, and steak frites.

Yelp
My friend recommended, this was our first sit down dining in the restaurant after long break due to the pandemic. Stated with some appetizers, and had shrimp and chorizo pasta and lamb dish. Unfortunately past was over cooked and chorizo was salty and overpowering the shrimp, not sure if this flavor profile. Lamb sausage served with house made hummus and cucumber yogurt sauce was good. Service was decent but we had to ask bread twice to get to our table. They have a good cocktail menu, wine selection is fine, overall it's ok dining experience.

Yelp
Great food in our Bethany neighborhood! You don't have to go downtown! Very good food for a special occasion

Yelp
Had the best service while I was there with a friend last week. I had a migraine & the manager/ server heard me tell my friend that. Without me asking for it, he brought me an ice pack- so sweet! Service, food & ambiance was perfect! Was my first time here, but will definitely become a regular spot going forward!

Yelp
Lovely dining room, service, and acoustics. Pretty good pricing, good sized plates and wine pours, which is always appreciated. Get the arancini!

Yelp
We had a lovely time with Seth this evening! The service was outstanding. One of the best servers we have ever had the privilege of experiencing. The pork chop was nice, and the ambiance is always calming. I was surprised by the flourless chocolate cake! It was a great end to the evening. We will be back just for Seth!

Yelp
I ordered Salmon dish. It was cooked perfectly not raw (of course :) or over cooked. It cleared my concern about ordering fish because most of time it came overcooked & dry. I would go again whenever I have appetite for nice Salmon dish :)

Yelp
The staff at Bethany's Table earned a loyal customer last night. Without getting into a bunch of detail, I'll just say that the dining experience fell far short of our expectations due to some unusual circumstances, but the staff more than made up for it and showed that they care deeply about customer experience. And setting the other issues aside, the food was delicious. We look forward to returning!

Yelp
Hands down best seasoned burger I have ever had! For context I got the lunch angus burger with no burger buns and it was very flavorful! I also got a gimlet which was made super well! Awesome service and ambiance, I'll definitely be coming back soon.

Yelp
The time slots for lunch, happy hour and dinner is not very accommodating if you aren't familiar with the restaurant. I went in for something apparently only on their lunch menu and it wasn't time for the dinner menu yet because it was happy hour, which was a small menu of snacks and drinks. So, I had a drink and waited until it was dinnertime. The service was slow, but the food was good.

Yelp
We went for a romantic dinner and it did not disappoint. The service was excellent and all the food was great but the chicken marsala was the huge standout!

Yelp
When I came in by myself initially to inquire about availability the staff was friendly and informed me walk-ins were welcome and told that they could get me seated right away. I proceeded to go back to the car to inform my girlfriend and we both came in. We were seated with water and given menus and were then informed that it's best to have a reservation in the future. Keep in mind the restaurant was about 1/3 occupied including outside dining. We sat there patiently waiting and watched as other people whom arrived after us were seated, serviced and provided other beverages other than water. We sat there with no acknowledgement by any staff member for about 20-25 minutes. I hope it's just lack of service and not racial discrimination as my girlfriend was the only POC in the restaurant at the time (I don't leave anything off of the table). Whatever it was or maybe continues to be, I hope the service is improved for others. We then decided to leave and drive to Thirsty Lion Gastro Pub. We were greeted and seated within 5 minutes (which wasn't expected on a Friday night). This place was about 3/4 occupied maybe more and our service was exceptional. I'm not affiliated with Thirsty Lion at all I just want people to have a full scope understanding of how poor our service was by a fine dining establishment vs. an average GastroPub establishment with great food.

Yelp
Well...came here for a meat and cheese board for lunch but they only serve that for dinner. Ordered the angus burger with fries. WOW. I was surprised!!! The burger was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! So much flavor from the burger itself and the secret sauce. I got the patty medium rare and it was good size. The fries were thin, crisp and perfectly seasoned and ALOT of fries too. My server was so kind and informative of specials. Outdoor seating is very comfortable and nice. Not a lot of foot traffic from other pedestrians. Nice selection of wines and cocktails I'd like to try next time. Very clean and refreshing indoors. Again. So surprised the burger was so much better than I expected! And their dessert menu was very diverse as well. The fruit tart is always my go to :) Would come back again for the burger for sure!
