"Credit goes to this shop for upping the area’s bagel credibility. The brand has since expanded across state lines to D.C. and Virginia, but the Bethesda original remains largely unchanged. Find dozens of bagel varieties with lox, cream cheese spreads, or as savory sandwiches." - Tim Ebner

Great bagels, great prices and I love the lox cream cheese. I always have to take some home. The sandwiches are also great and again the prices cannot be beat. If you go home and toast the bagel the texture is unreal. One of the best bagels in the DMV for sure.

Best bagels in the DC area for as long as I can remember (resident since 1989). This is the only bagel shop acceptable to my NJ raised, Jewish father who worked in a deli making bagels. The man has high standards for bagels and whitefish salad, and only shops here.

The bagels are amazing, my church orders from them weekly so I wanted to go and try them for myself. The only thing was the steak was too salty. But other than that everything there looks and tastes amazing.

Delicious, reasonably priced and ordering online is easy. Thank you to the Bethesda staff for coming into work, and making my lunch orders. I truly appreciate you!!!

Bagels were fresh and delicious. Ordered Everything Bagels with tomato and a side of whitefish salad. Grew up eating "water" bagels in NJ and these bagels we just right in taste and texture.

Biggest egg sandwich I’ve ever had! Creative bagel and cream cheese flavors. Bagels had the perfect amount of NJ chew

It is worth waiting in line to get these bagels. Doubly so if you've done a 20m bike ride. Looks like you can also order ahead of time though to cut down the waiting time. I can recommend the Steak n Cheese, but the Everything Bagel is probably the most popular (will try it next time around).

Excellent bagels! Probably the best in the area. They also have house made vegan cream cheese and beyond Sausage which is awesome. Frequent longer lines and early hours as a good bagel place should have. However those longer lines don't mean slow service it just means good bagels are coming. So happy to be able to work so close to them.
