Tried Beth’s initially during Restaurant Week and returned a second time. First visit was decent, second visit sealed the deal - five stars! New American food = American fusion. Ambiance is cozy and intimate with low lighting and quirky decor (the 2D cartoon wall makes for great photo ops). Service started strong and dipped a bit during the first visit, but second time around, Fernando and the team were on point - friendly, attentive, and welcoming! Menu is short but well-curated. First time, I tried the Baked Brie (chef’s kiss! fig jam = decadent!), Balloon Tostado, Duck Prosciutto, and Barley Risotto. Plating was thoughtful, flavors layered, and the barley risotto had a unique texture I’d order again. Steak Frites were generous, but go medium for skirt steak—medium rare came out chewy. Fries were labeled Parmesan but came dusted with heavy Old Bay the first visit, corrected the second. Brownie dessert was rich and fudgey - ice cream was melted already the first time, but was plated separately the second time. A la mode was extra for the brownie, but was included with the pastel de nata (Portuguese egg tarts). Both were yummy! Cocktails were underwhelming on the first visit, but better the second time after trying different ones. Definitely recommend especially for happy hour or date night - I would go back for the Baked Brie alone!

Enjoyed the vibe and experience at Beth's. The restaurant has a relaxed, contemporary atmosphere that's perfect for casual dinners or drinks with friends. The drinks were good, with a nice variety of cocktails, wines, and craft beers, and the service was friendly, attentive, and prompt. The food was good too, with each dish fresh, well-seasoned, and satisfying. The portion sizes were generous, which makes it great for sharing or leaving the table feeling full. That said, the menu felt a bit confusing and lacked a clear identity. While the website mentions "classic American flavors with a contemporary twist," dishes like crunchy Ravioli, Risotto, Charred Octopus, and Truffle Potato Croquettes didn't quite feel American to me—but then again, what is American, haha? Overall, Beth's has a great ambiance, solid service, and tasty food.

Went here last weekend and it was such a great experience! The short rib risotto was absolutely to die for—rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Even though the restaurant was clearly understaffed, Stephany did an outstanding job taking care of everyone. She provided exceptional service with a smile, despite how busy it was. I don’t think they expected such a crowd, which is understandable, but honestly, it’s great to see restaurants this busy again. I’ll definitely be coming back and will happily recommend this place to others!

As I walked up, I was like "omg, this is so cute." It's totally a photographer's fun space! My friend and I sat at the bar to take advantage of happy hour! I loved my purple rain!! It was delicious and was nicely balanced. My friend had wine. She enjoyed a few appetizers from the happy hour menu. The parmesan fries were lovely with the garlic aïoli, which is homemade. She also enjoyed the spring rolls-- they come in four. I ordered the brussels sprouts and they were delicious. Even my friend tried them and she doesn't even like brussels sprouts and said they were good. I took advantage of the restaurant week menu which was one appetizer, one entrée and one dessert for $40. I ordered the Brussels sprouts, the steak frites and the fudge brownie. The steak frites was very nicely cooked. Nice taste. Did not enjoy the brownie at all, it was incredibly dry. Just for reference, I prefer my brownies to be soft and gooey, something to sink your teeth into.. Our bartender was super sweet and took it back and had us try the pastel de Nata! Now, that is totally worth getting. Light and flaky and delicious! We had a lovely experience here! Hope they add more main dishes in the future.

BETHs definitely has an amazing vibe with excellent service and amazing food. Were able to try out their restaurant week menu which had great vegetarian options as well. Would highly recommend! They also do great happy hours and deals on wine during the week!

Beths is a fabulous restaurant for my first time eating in the restaurant, The server named Renso was very good in how kind, happy and fabulous he did his job he was attentive he was charismatic and it was spectacular his service was 10/10, The restaurant inside was the best the restaurant is beautiful fabulous and incredible the decoration and the lights are spectacular the food was fabulously incredible and more the service I recommend this restaurant and I would eat here again the attention of chef Sarita was incredible she is a very charismatic person and it makes you want to eat here again I congratulate Beths for its workers and its food I recommend it too much

We stopped by for happy hour and were pleasantly surprised! The happy hour specials are available only at the bar, which we didn’t mind at all. The space is stylish and clean, and even though it was a beautiful day, there was barely anyone there — the patio was completely empty, which made us wonder why more people haven’t discovered this spot yet! We ordered a round of cocktails, meatballs, and the chicken flatbread — everything was flavorful and honestly more filling than we expected. Great value for the price! The service was friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. Overall, a hidden gem for happy hour. We'll definitely be back!

They have awesome happy hours drinks and menu options. The meat balls were absolutely my favorite. The man on fire 🔥 was my favorite too. Our bartender was super sweet and good vibe there. The decorations were so cool with touch of local culture. Love this place and will be back again.

We enjoyed our time on Valentine's Day. The menu is limited, but the service was great. I think they can work on getting a better version of the mac & cheese.

The food and service was amazing! the best shirley temple i've ever had! The food was great and I wouod highly recommend to anyone looking for a casual fun spot for dinner in Bethesda.

Food, Service, Ambiance, everything was good. We loved Mediterranean flatbread and sweet and spicy chicken burger!

Went for Friday happy hour. Place was empty. The music was blues and a bit dreary. We sat at the bar and eventually a bartender addressed us. Note: we were the only ones at the bar. I asked if one of their specialty cocktails was served "up." The bartender didn't know what this meant. The drink was watered down. We were hungry and intended to eat at the bar but after we got our drinks, no one came to see if we needed anything else or even acknowledged that we were still there. The staff were either absent or standing nearby comparing tattoos. So we paid and left. Not sure what they're going for there but, if nothing else, get a decent bar staff who are engaged and make you feel like you might want to return.

Great food and service! The place is beautiful inside. Looking forward to warmer days to seat on the patio. The place is perfect for a relaxed dinner.

If you want food poisoning this is the place! The tasting experience had us sick. The drinks tasted like old syrup

Stopped in for drink and early dinner. Pretty awful "fahita" just some mush in a skillet. Only 3 selections of wine- $16 each. When I realized I'd made a mistake and went to pay, turns out the server did not know how to use Toast. I'm sorry to be negative but I can not in good conscience recommend.
