Hixter Bankside - Review - Southwark - London - The Infatuation

"If you’re meeting out-of-town friends at Tate Modern and want to grab dinner afterwards, wander over to Hixter, where you can be assured of a good meal (things like grilled steaks and chicken) while your mates gawp at the plush decor and things on the menu like ‘De Beauvoir smoked salmon’. The bar’s also excellent and it’s an easy way to transition over into drinks if you’re feeling strong. Amazing venue, convenient location, really good atmosphere, good sound system, drinks are reasonably priced for London. Good and strict security. They also do other sorts of events, but I can only vouch for gigs here.

The Better Bankside BID is a wonderful venture that brings the businesses of London's Bankside together; offering free training that is both relevant in the workplace as well as to the individual, community projects such as gardening and volunteering, promoting local businesses, offering free workshops and guided tours, and supporting local charities. A fantastic endeavour.

Absolutely not worth it. Food is so average, no care in it at all. We had a half price card but even paying half seemed bad value. Its probably a good place for meetings if you work nearby, but for pleasure just dont go. Staff are really lovely but food absolutely needs a refresh.

I don't understand the other nonsensical review here. Better bankside is a fantastic subsidised meeting space for the local community in a stunning location with helpful staff.
