Better Buzz Coffee Pacific Beach Grand

I generally like Better Buzz. But I do think their drinks are really sweet. If I come here, I would be treating myself. This location in Pacific Beach has a drive thru. It’s next to Taco Bell, but you can’t get there from the parking lot. I like that they have convenient online ordering. The matcha latte is just ok. I would stick to their coffee drinks. Bathroom is outside. Credit card/Apple Pay accepted.

Second time visiting the Grand Avenue location, and it’s always a great experience! This time I tried the Better Buzz Breakfast Sandwich and the Cinnamon Crumbonne — both were absolutely delicious. Highly recommend! I’m so glad I trusted Josh’s pastry recommendation. The service was excellent as always. This location has a rooftop seating area, and Josh even brought our food up to us, which was such a thoughtful touch. Really appreciate him going above and beyond — it brightened the start of the day for both me and my sister. Thank you, Josh! I’ll definitely be coming back again

Literally the best Better Buzz in San Diego! The staff is so nice and helpful and each unique personality makes the experience feel incredibly personal every time. I basically can’t go anywhere else for coffee now (^-^) Shout out to Skyler, Linnette, and Josh for making my day! You all rock!

On 12/1/25 I made an online purchase through the app at 502am. When I got to the store to pick up my order the lights were on and people were inside. The gentlemen who spoke to me through the drive thru told me that they had changed the hours and it should’ve been changed on the app and that all he could do is refund me my money. Well I never received a refund and was still charged for the order. This is wrong for some many reasons 1) if you’re going to change store hours then whoever’s in charge of running the better buzz app should’ve made it not possible for people to order. 2) if you’re already in the store with other people why not just fill the order since I’m pretty sure the supplies you needed were already there. Or at least turn the damn lights off, and put a sign on the drive thru saying you’re closed and the hours have been changed and not have wasted my time to begin with. 3) keep your word and give me the refund you said you were going to do! The refund I’m intitled to. This was unethical, dishonest, untruthful, and flat out robbery. To charge a person for a service or product not provided to me is theft. What if I never checked my account? 100% profit for the Better Buzz Big-shots.

Mediocre Buzz. Weak coffee. Pumpkin loaf too sweet loaded with some syrup. I'd avoid both. Counter person was courteous and pleasant.

This place is always a must when we stay in San Diego. Great food and drink options! The Best drink ever iced, 1/2 sweet, w/add shot is my GO TO!

We're honeymooning and the people here were so sweet! We were well taken care of and the coffee and pastries were DELICIOUS!

This is such a beautiful location. And right next to the beach. Rooftop deck! Great folks behind the counter and the manager, Josh is so hospitable.
