Wonderful little restaurant in downtown. The food was fantastic. I had the peppered ahi tune, the steak, and this chocolate dessert that I forgot the name of but was absolutely heavenly!! My waitress was wonderful, attentive, and very helpful. She said the chocolate was the owners idea and I would say he is a genius! What a great way to end my last full night staying at the Kimpton hotel.

Me and my coworker stopped in for an early dinner while in Cleveland for a work trip. Finding somewhere to eat on a Sunday can be challenging so we were so happy to see that the restaurant had Sunday hours. My coworker has some allergies and our server Dawud was extremely helpful with ensuring she could find something to eat. He was a very attentive server and very friendly. I got the braised short rib and an old fashioned with a special twist. The short rib was full of flavor and the portion size was very generous. Drinks were delicious as well.

We were in Cleveland for a quick trip and needed a good restaurant for gluten-free food. I googled restaurants on our path, and this restaurant was suggested. We arrived about 1pm and did not have to wait to be seated. Our server, Bianka, immediately came to take care of us. She very thoroughly went over gluten-free options and even checked with the kitchen to make sure what we wanted was gluten-free. We did have to wait a bit for our food, but when we got it, we understood. This was hands down the best lunch we have ever had. My mom had the burger and fries. She said they were the best fries she had ever had. I had the lamb stew, and I was in food heaven. Overall, this was an amazing experience. We lived the atmosphere, our server, and the food. We will be back.

Google
Service was pretty awful from start, didn’t get to sit at table for over 10 mins with staff just passing us. Once we sat our waitress was just as awful. Food wasn’t anything other than average, but the only good thing about this place was the drinks were delicious and strong. Wouldn’t go back or recommend going here.

Google
Outstanding! Best meal in Cleveland. Enjoy the wedge salad and pork schnitzel. Only constructive feedback would be there was no audible music playing but it was a lively and pleasant atmosphere

Google
Came to Betts for Cleveland Burger week to try their breakfast burger. Also got a side of crispy Brussel sprouts. Service and atmosphere were perfection, absolutely no complaints there. Brussel sprouts were great and every component of the burger was great, except the meat, unfortunately. I requested medium well and the patties were way overcooked, to the point that they were crispy and devoid of flavor. Such a disappointment because everything else was delicious. I'd still recommend giving this place a try, just maybe try something other than their burger. Also, heads up that while their burger is only $9 this week, it is typically $18(!) on the menu.

Google
We had such a lovely time at Betts! We had a large group during the busy lunch time and they totally accommodated us! The staff was wonderful and the restaurant was beautiful. Make sure you’re not in a hurry, it did take quite a while to get our food. Overall, LOVED being there. A lazy brunch when you’ve got nothing else to do would be a perfect activity at Bett’s

Google
beautiful restaurant, lovely staff, and delicious and thoughtfully made dishes! the brussel sprouts were my favorite–they were hot, super crispy, and packed with flavor. i also really liked the black bean burger. the baby carrots were colder and crunchier than i would've liked but still good! everything we had was vegan and it was amazing. what a place! 😊

Yelp
Great restaurant. The food was amazing but not as flavorful as I thought it would be. I got the Cajun lamb, but I thought it was just plain lame. There was no Cajun on it or none that I could taste really.

Yelp
I love staying at The Kimpton Schofield hotel and this restaurant is located inside. Things I've loved in the past are their great happy hour, local juices, and vegan options. Things I've not loved in the past are hit or miss service, slow service, sometimes poorly made drinks (which I solved by ordering beer or wine). Today's breakfast made me change my good prior reviews based on a negative experience. Two of us dined for breakfast and reviewed the latest menu noticing they clearly call out vegan, vegetarian options. Love that this restaurant still gets it and offers options for all eaters. We place our order with a very kind and competent female server (who appeared to be the manager on staff). Ordered two grapefruit juices, an avocado toast, and chilaquiles (both vegan which just means egg and cheese out). Juices weren't anything special nor fresh. I suggest getting the Anna's Raw juices instead. Meals came out. The tofu on the avocado toast looked grilled. Nice, but still had no flavor. The chilaquiles had goat cheese sprinkled all over the top. I confirmed this what cheese with our server and she asked the kitchen to remake it. They did and it came out pretty quickly with sliced tofu (not grilled, just plain tofu out of the box). No problem as I'm hungry. Take a few bites and still taste the goat cheese. This was my unfavorite cheese when I did eat dairy, so I know what it tastes like. I poke around on the plate and see they've left me a small stash of cheese under the bottom tortilla. Not cool and pretty mean. Didn't eat the meal. What a waste. In addition to paying attention to the customer's order, I'd recommend doing something with the tofu. You're subbing it for scrambled eggs. Mash it up and make it scrambled. Put black salt on it... Pepper, some onion and garlic powder, turmeric, and nutritional yeast. Tofu tastes like nothing if you put nothing on it, so change that. Would they serve a scrambled egg with no spices/salt/pepper? Yuck if so. The only reason for two stars versus one is they have other vegan options. The Caesar used to be great. Not sure if I'd eat here again though.

Yelp
I'd probably give this restaurant 3.5 stars if that was an option. The manager working was extremely friendly and kind when checking in on our table and when I returned to pick up my credit card that I left behind. Unfortunately, the food wasn't very good. I ordered the chilaquiles which lacked flavor big time and was not filling at all. My husband felt the same regarding his breakfast burger in terms of flavor. He said all of the listed ingredients did not come through on his palate. His fries were the saving grace of the meal. They had a nice crisp texture and very good flavor. The atmosphere was attractive considering it's a hotel restaurant. Despite such positive interactions with the manager, we will not be returning unfortunately.

Yelp
The host at the front counter was lovely, our server was not. I ordered for both of us (that's the way we like to do it) and the server had a real bee in her bonnet about that so for the rest of service she only spoke to my gf. Drinks were overpriced and mediocre (pineapple juice fresh from the can!). The salad was a pile of lettuce with a few grapes on it (ten dollars!). "Wagyu" meatballs tasted exactly like chef boyardee but drier. Ambiance was nice.

Yelp
The service is really what made it special. It was pretty empty so We were able to get a nice corner seat outside. Waitress was funny and accommodating . Food was pretty good. Nothing spectacular but worth coming back. Worth noting that those fries pictured was actually amazing!

Yelp
I visited Betts for lunch with a coworker recently. I didn't really check it out prior but it was close and easy for us both. The space is connected to a hotel and is cozy but modern. The bar area was really pretty and I liked the giant windows and all the natural light. They have a variety of seating options and the restroom was clean - and had really funky wallpaper. The menu was... interesting and it took me a while to decide what to get. They offer breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner - all of which have different menus. They also have a happy hour Monday through Friday from 3-6pm. Lunch is from 11am-4pm so that's the menu I went off of. I decided on their vegan caesar salad and a side of fries (which were actually like chips). I did ask for some parmesan cheese to make it more of a caesar salad to me (I'm not vegan and I gotta have cheese, vegan cheese or not). The dressing was good. No anchovies but the capers gave it a good flavor. The chips were meh and I barely touched them. They had good wifi and we were able to get some work done which was nice. I will say the service was rather slow. The food took around 40 minutes to come out and our table was one of few. Fries and a salad doesn't take that long. Our waitress was nice and the bill was reasonable. I doubt I would come back to eat but I can totally see the bar being a fun spot in the evening.

Yelp
I love this location and vibe of the restaurant! It's connected to a hotel and so I'm sure the guests love having a cute place to grab drinks downstairs. I've had brunch here before and it was pretty good, but I wasn't very impressed with their dinner options. We got a couple bowls but they were very bland and not worth it. The falafels were dry in the quinoa tabbouleh bowl, and the "spicy" Tucson bowl was not even mild haha absolutely no spice. The drinks, however, were delicious! Despite the menu, I will say the staff and service were amazing! Very kind and attentive. The host greeted us and made us feel welcome while taking us to our table, and our server was excellent!

Yelp
SO yummy! We flew in early this morning and didn't have a reservation for breakfast. This spot was lively - large groups, mimosas flowing, exciting energy so we decided to dine here. We ordered bloody Mary's and were brought waters. The egg white frittata and Bett's B&G were a hit! Will definitely be back next time we're in town

Yelp
This was my second time visiting Betts, and I don't travel to Cleveland much. Nice selection of food, I appreciate the vegetarian and gluten free options, and a big drink menu. A cute place attached to a hotel but separate enough that it has its own vibe. I ordered the vegetable plate and instead a side of vegetables came. The waiter was apologetic and fixed the mistake, and he was attentive and friendly. Would recommend to others.

Yelp
This was the most horrifying dining experience of my life. My friend and I were staying at the hotel next door, and after checking out the next day, we decided to have a meal at Betts. A hostess led us to a table for two. Shortly after, a male server came by, introduced himself, and poured us some water. He filled my glass first, and when pouring for my friend, she politely asked if it was possible to have some hot water instead -- since we were traveling and had sensitive stomachs. He hesitated a little but said yes, then asked if I'd also like some. I thought for a moment and said yes. A few minutes later, he returned with two visibly dirty cups -- one had obvious coffee stains, and the other had a lipstick mark on the rim. Both were filled with hot water. We were too shocked to speak. Even worse, after that, he completely ignored us for about 15 minutes, even though the restaurant wasn't busy and no new guests had arrived. Eventually, another waitress came to take our order and kindly replaced the cups. But in the background, we could clearly see the staff, including the male server, laughing as if they found it all amusing. I was furious, but I didn't say anything. I simply left no tip and wrote the reason on the bill. And then -- as we stood up to leave, the male server came directly toward us, stared at me without saying a word, with zero sign of apology or remorse. I was absolutely outraged. Later, after finishing some errands, we returned to the hotel and reported the incident to the front desk manager. He took it seriously and kindly contacted the restaurant manager for us. The restaurant manager came to speak with me and tried to explain it away as a "common mistake", but I pointed out how anyone could clearly tell from the dirty cups and the server's behavior that this was done intentionally. He immediately offered me a full refund, which I accepted, and apologized. But even during this conversation, the male server was still walking around the restaurant, never once offering an apology or even acknowledging the situation. This was deeply disrespectful, humiliating, and unacceptable. I will never recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Yelp
A fun breakfast place/diner/bar located in the Kimpton Schofield Hotel. We went for breakfast and the restaurant has a fun retro vibe. I had the basic 2 egg breakfast and it was a great value. I was so full. They made a great cappuccino too! They also offer healthier options such as avocado toast and egg white omelets. The staff was so friendly, our server Peyton was hilarious.

Yelp
We tried this place since it was attached to our hotel. Brunch gets pretty busy, so be prepared to wait to get a table or to get food. The waffle was delicious! I like thicker, fluffy waffles so this one hit the spot. The chicken on the waffle was not as great. Smaller strips with a little too much breading on them. It also was a little tougher, probably due to being a little overcooked. The servers seemed to struggle keeping up. The table next to us were seated before we were and they got their food after we did. They were upset and ended up complaining about it, which they should since they ordered just waffles.

Yelp
Recently visited Betts for breakfast...it was in a word, TERRIBLE. We were told upon arrival to "hold on a minute" while the hostess was busy clicking away at her terminal. I get having to wait, but her tone was very uninviting. Once we were seated we didn't see a server for a good five minutes at least. From the time we sat down until our order was taken, it was 34 minutes. We saw our server twice in that time...once to take our order and once to deliver the coffee...which she never came back to refill. The food was disgusting. My order was very simple. Eggs over medium and crispy bacon. The eggs were fried hard and bacon was nearly inedible...it was very chewy and the taste wasn't any better. There were also what were supposed to be home fries, but they were essentially flavorless chunks of undercooked potatoes. The toast was the best thing on the plate!! They messed up my girlfriend's order and in response brought her out a plate of cold sausage patties that she did not like at all. Cannot and would not recommend to anyone!!

Yelp
Bett's is a great spot for an outdoor lunch. My surprise favorite part was actually the Caesar salad which had spiced crispy chickpeas instead of typical croutons. I hadn't thought of making that substitution before, and it was delicious! I also really liked the tokyo bowl with zoodles and chicken in a hoisin peanut sauce. I appreciated the slight spiciness in the sauce and the large portion of various veggies in the bowl. Bett's also has a decent selection of beers on draft which rotate frequently. The only down side is that service is fairly slow, so it's not the best spot for a quick lunch. If you have the time, though, I would recommend it! Food: B+ Drinks: B Service: C+ Ambiance: B+

Yelp
Update: thank you to the manager for prompt response and call to discuss last nights dinner. I really appreciate the follow up. Went before a show. Ordered the burger well done, came med to med rare at best. The waitress came by and took away while we had to wait for another one which obviously took awhile. It was good and these things happen. The issue... no discount on my bill for the inconvenience. Wouldn't have been so upsetting if I wasn't sitting next to an "influencer" who the manager comped a free appetizer to, then when she didn't eat her whole entree because she didn't like it... had her whole meal comped! Really? So if I was an "influencer" I could have had free food? Instead I had to pay for everything, even when I had an issue with my food?? I'm not looking for a free meal, I pay my way but pretty irritating that I dont even get an apology from the manager but someone else gets free food just because of who they are.

Yelp
Adventures into this diner place inside of a hotel. Staff was very nice and placed us next to the window for people watching. Food was good well. Guac was creamy alongside crispy potatoes. The sandwich was so freaking good. The smear they put on it wraps the whole sandwich together perfectly. Loved this breakfast.

Yelp
We stopped at Bett's for dinner before a Guardians game and had a really good experience! There were six of us and we did make a reservation. The decor is so charming! A balance of mid century modern with a nod to contemporary. Our server was so attentive and friendly! The drink menu has something for everyone, including mocktails! I got an espresso martini which wasn't on the menu, but was recently! The cauliflower pappardelle was my choice for dinner and it was SO. GOOD!!! And I want to say it was vegan. The noodles were out of this world. Loved stopping by this cozy little bar & eatery, thanks for having us

Yelp
Staff is friendly, but service is slow. The food itself was simply ok at best. The burger was burnt and tasted like a dirty grill. The place is super cute, great location, and has lots of potential. Seems like the kitchen could improve efficiency and quality.

Yelp
Friends and I had dinner here and the restaurant had cool vibes all around. The place was quiet for a Friday night, even the staff found it odd, (it was Labor Day weekend). But they were happy to have us and it was our luck because our service was timely, food was out in no time and we were able to sit and relax longer. Our server, Jess, was very friendly and attentive, sharing her thoughts on drinks and food ordered. I particularly enjoy a meal even more when the staff says, "Ooh good choice!" or "That's my favorite." because they're excited for your experience. I had difficulty deciding which drink to order, Blood Orange Mule or Lemonade Stand, and over course of the evening I had both! And both were great choices and were "juicy" aka a good pour! I started with the Spicy Shrimp which had a nice heat to it but not crazy. The shrimp were hot and the sauce created a slight crunch on the edges that was nice. It came with a couple small garlic breads that I enjoyed by dipping in the extra sauce. 3 would've been better. I kept things light by also having the wedge salad and it was delicious. It's not your typical presentation of a "wedge" off a head of lettuce, but maybe a smaller bunch which was torn in two(?) This allowed for spaces in which the toppings and bleu cheese dressing could sit and nestle in, instead of sliding right off typical wedge. There were ample toppings which made each bite enjoyable. My friends had the Pretzel Bites appetizer, cavatelli carbonara and the Tokyo Bowl, both were very pleased with their meal. Good music was playing which always makes for a great time for me. There was a cool wall that listed the beers on tap, a couple of TV's with sports on. Indoor and covered outdoor dining options, majority of standard tables and chairs, we had a spot along an elevated booth and higher chairs on other side. You enter through a hotel entrance and Betts is immediately on the left. For anyone with mobility considerations, there is a step up into Betts maybe 6-7" and I cannot recall the hotel entrance. And I believe reservations are recommended- so call ahead and double check. Great for groups, small or larger, special occasions or before going to the theater, ballgame or just drinks/ dinner. Prices were $$-$$$ more moderate: $57 for 2 drinks, an appetizer and smaller salad but everything was delicious and an enjoyable evening. The next time I visit Cleveland I will be back and recommend to friends. So go check it out!

Yelp
A group of 8 ladies went to Betts last night for bachelorette dinner. Our servers name was Quinn and he was fantastic. Very attentive and so friendly. He made us laugh, and laughed with us. Really great service thank you for accommodating our large group. And special thanks to Quinn!!
google avatar

Yelp
I opine that the three and half stars is unjustified. I would give this place 2 stars on a good day. To start, without reservations there was a 25 minute wait (max according to the young lady at front desk). We walked around for 30 minutes, came back and found out they gave our table to someone else. After we were seated we waited 20 minutes before our server came. While waiting we observed 2 tables leave without ordering due to the wait, a table of 2 and a group of 8. We also considered leaving but we were too damn starved. The food was mediocre at best. My wife got a quinoa bowl and liked it. I got a breakfast bowl. It was heavy on potatoes and light on meat. The only positive was that our server (Bryan) had a wonderful disposition. But we will never return here.

Yelp
Highly recommended !! Probably the best burger I've had Everyone and everything was great. The staff was gracious, charming, friendly and genuinely happy we decided to go there. The chef knows their stuff. From first bite to last, we enjoyed every bit. The combination of ingredients blended well beyond my imagination. This will be a must-stop on our next trip to Cleveland

Darbie V.

Yelp
This place was okay. I came in and was seated immediately which was nice. Their gluten free options were extremely limited. I ordered two items the Caprese salad and their grilled salmon. The salad was excellent! I would come back and only order that because it was so good. The salmon was just okay. The fish was slightly undercooked and the sauce was very strong on top. The veggies that came out with it were good but nothing special. This was a good quick dinner stop when at a conference but I wouldn't seek this place out again.

Paul S.

Yelp
Absolutely a great meal , the food, atmosphere and service. undoubtedly the best meal we've had in Cleveland.

Tom L.

Yelp
I stopped here for lunch. I ordered the plate with 2 sides which ended up being chicken, jasmine rice, and bacon Mac and cheese. The food was very good and the server was attentive. They did provide me my bill as I was eating which was strange but there are many instances where I wish some places did this. Overall, I would recommend this spot to get a nice bite.

Denise T.

Yelp
The food is tasty but the service is outstanding! The perfect location in downtown Cleveland to meet up with friends before or after a Cavs game.

Yelp
I've been going there for over three years regularly and today was asked to not come back. With that being said I still say they have the best service best clients best managers awesome bartenders and servers and the atmosphere for a artist is amazing. So please go check out this amazing establishment and if you want tell them the artist sent you

Yelp
Cute brunch spot. The staff was friendly and the service was good. I enjoyed the power bowl.

Yelp
We had such a good time eating at Betts! I went with a few coworkers and the one local in our group had never been to Betts. We decided to give it a chance. I think people were skeptical because the restaurant is located in a hotel and they were thinking we would be eating "hotel food." Wrong! I ordered the Poke bowl. It was delicious--everything was so fresh. The knifework on the tuna was a little off (my tuna was kind of hacked up) but the flavors were so good. One person in the group got the Pappardelle Bolognese and the other two each got the Market Plate with chicken. The Market Plate is probably the best deal out there. $23 for two chicken breasts and your choice of two sides that are served in bowls, not cups. It's a lot of food. The drinks were great and very reasonably priced. Our server disappeared as the night went on (it was not busy), but other than that, we had a great time.
google avatar

Yelp
Delicious super savory hearty breakfast pork and veal ragu. The poke bowl was good except for some reason I expected the zucchini noodles to be cooked. They were raw. The whole bowl was raw so it was like eating a large crudités tray. The shogun sauce was missing and it took ten minutes and asking two servers before a creamy whipped horseradish Dijon mustard came out. Strange shogun sauce..? Anyway, I couldn't finish my dish because it had so much raw vegetable matter but the flavor was fine. Not cheap. The cocktails were the best part of the visit. They were unique and they did have a keto marg which I ordered. The bong water cocktail was like an adult fruit punch and was so tasty! They do have several gluten free and kept options.

Yelp
I have to be honest. I was t expecting to find much open in downtown Cleveland on a Sunday night. Now, I know that the city is changing and more people are moving into the city, but let's be honest, it's still not exactly what you'd call a bustling hubbub of activity. Which is why Betts was a surprising and nice find. Located next to the Kimpton Hotel, it's a decent sized restaurant that was pretty crowded at 7:30 pm. On a Sunday. The bar selection looked good, with a nice cocktail list. I had the Buffalo chicken sandwich. It was good but messy. The fries with it were really good. Thin cut and well seasoned. My daughter got the Tokyo bowl with tofu. Not too spicy and filled with lots of vegetables. The star for us were the Brussel sprouts. Topped with goat cheese, these were crispy and really, really good. I'm still not convinced that you can find whatever you want on a Sunday in Cleveland, but Betts is worth checking out!

Yelp
Recently dined for brunch during a staycation at the Kimpton. We received complimentary breakfast tickets apart of room package. I ordered an espresso martini, which was absolutely delicious and my husband ordered a latte for our beverages. For our meal I ordered the Bubbies Board and my husband ordered the Bette's Breakfast. Our food came out hot, the presentation was beautiful and everything tasted so good! The bunnies board is a deconstructed bagels and lox and all of the accompaniments were fresh and delicious. The service was excellent and our waiter was very attentive. The ambiance is very welcoming and inviting. The restaurant is a nice size and offers a great view of the city.

Yelp
Excellent lunch place. It took a little longer than usual to get seated but we grabbed a nice window seat. Decor is crisp and subway tileish. Sue or server was awesome. Spot on recommendations. I had the portobello sandwich and it was great. Its a bit loud inside due to the hard surfaces but manageable. I expect this place does get crowded and they take reservations so I highly recommend that. Great lunch spot. Oh and the garlic fries - yum!
google avatar

Amanda F.

Yelp
I adore this place, it is excellent. I'm upset I did not discover it sooner. Not only was the food delicious, the service was fantastic, even being very busy. It was very apparent, and refreshing to see the whole restaurant working together as a team and treating each other with respect. You don't see that much anymore. It is located in the Schofield Hotel lobby. Full bar, menu is on the smaller side, but there is something for everyone. Very highly recommend you try this place out, and watch the fantastic employees breeze through anything that comes there way, all while serving great food.

Yelp
Betts is a great addition to the food scene of Downtown Cleveland. It was a place that I always walked past, but never thought to sit down at. I'm glad that I decided to check it out. The staff is friendly, the hours are convenient, and the food is good. You can't ask for much more. My only negative complaint/word of caution is that if you're on a plant-based/meatless diet, you should avoid the veggie burger. I've had it twice and both times left me wanting more.... the burger was tough and broke apart.
google avatar

Stephen B.

Yelp
Located in the lobby of the Kimpton Schoefield hotel. Nice enough breakfast and lunch spot. Has a slightly hip sense to it with a menu reflective of that -- nice gluten free, nut free, dairy free, and vegan options (typical of a Kimpton, which rises to have a hip vibe). Breakfast service a little slow considering the restaurant wasn't too full; lunch was VERY full and had to sit at the bar (my host said she always just walks in; apparently an event in town had the hotel full) but service was swift. Not life changing, but super good.
google avatar

Nicole Sung Un P.

Yelp
It was okay... service was slow and our table wasn't that big. We had 6 people 4 people ordered the same thing. The interior is cute and menu is fancy with the description a lot more intricate than what the dishes actually are. Plus the food is not cooked as well as it should be- the quinoa was watery and undercooked. It's a convenient location but I won't be coming again ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
google avatar

Aparna B.

Yelp
Great little spot located right downtown on E. 9th St, inside The Schoefield hotel. We were able to sit outside and enjoy our brunch. We were pleasantly surprised at the amount of vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options! We got a few cocktails (the piña punch for him and a mimosas with earl gray tea for me!) and also started with a pretzel. The pretzel came with a Dijon mustard sauce but also this delicious whipped feta. My husband ordered their avocado toast with a poached egg and I ordered the egg white frittata. His toast was absolutely delicious and this chimichurri on it and some radishes - game changer! My frittata was good but the veggies in it made it kinda watery. But there was this local hot sauce that was so good that I ended up buying some at the local indoor market in town! Overall everything was really good, the waitstaff were so friendly and attentive and I'm glad we could enjoy some time sitting outside! Parking is either on the street or any of the parking garages in the area.

Yelp
Met here for a business dinner. There was a nice selection of appetizers and main courses. The service was great. We had the shrimp charcuterie board lamb chops and pretzels, all were good and a good size for sharing. I had the burger which was good as well.

Yelp
Came for dinner the ambiance was so cute and the servers were all so friendly! Drinks were flavorful and the food was good - the fries were unique and delicious. Would recommend!

Yelp
I came to Bett's with a party of seven for a weekend brunch. Despite it being a Saturday at 12:30 PM, they weren't very busy, which was lucky for us. We all had a variety of items, including the crab cake Benedict, bodega sammie, French toast, waffle, and scramble bowl. My girlfriend isn't hungry is a really funny name for a delicious dish. It's a garlic mac & cheese with fries. I shared this with my friends, and we all really enjoyed it. I personally had the scramble bowl, which looks pretty unassuming, but it's actually quite hearty and filling. I also shared the waffle with a friend, which was excellent, and came with a side of butter and maple syrup. Overall, the food was solid and we enjoyed our time.

Yelp
The Betts Bar and Restaurant here at the Kimpton Hotel in downtown Cleveland has a pretty knowledgeable bartender taking care of business in a most professional and courteous way! We came to The Betts to have a drink and of course my wife wants a Mezcal and mineral water and I want a gin Martini. This lovely young lady / bartender asked my wife what Mezcal she wanted. My wife said for her to pick it and she came up to with a beautiful smokey one that she loved. My turn next; I asked what gins she had and she asked me how I did want my Martini. I said straight-up with an olive and a lemon twist. She replied that I need a London dry gin and proceeded to pour me Beefeater's gin that of course was the perfect fusion for what I was looking for. As my wife and I sat there and talked and sipped, we also watch this completely competent young lady training another young lady to do what she does. I keep on using the term "Young Lady" for a reason; she had more knowledge about her craft (at 25 years old), than Eddie The Bartender at The Raffles Hotel in Singapore had after 38 years manning his post at one of the most respected bars in the world. It was quite a site and I verbally complimented her for her knowledge and demeanor for her artistry of her profession. Sometimes when and where you least expect it, you find a "gem" of a person, loving what they do for a living. Bravo to you - Young Lady! P.S. - I did ask her what her name was, but regrettably I forgot what it was.....O.P.P. (Old Peoples Problem)

Yelp
Service is good but 99% sure the poke bowl gave me food poisoning. The food is priced too high for the taste they are offering,

Yelp
Solid quality food and service. It's a bit pricey. We didn't get any cocktails but I noticed the Old Fashioned was $17. Average cocktail price here was ~$15. My GF got the 10oz flank steak- it was ok. The "chimichurri sauce" was more like a light "chimichurri rub" that we couldn't taste. The bacon Mac side was very good. The meal wasn't bad, but probably not worth the $42 price. I was feeling pasta and went with the pappardelle bolognese ($21) which was very tasty and a large portion. Our waiter was solid- he had good knowledge of the menu and was able to give details on where the food is from and how it is prepared. Only issue on our final bill we had been accidentally charged for an extra drink which they removed after I pointed it out, but I don't like that I had to point it out. A reminder to review the bill instead of just tossing your card in there! Overall, the food was good but not great. Higher price point but that's pretty typical of restaurants downtown.

Yelp
The food was delicious - the potatoes are very good, avocado was really good. if you want a big breakfast get the bodega sammie. it's cute and modern inside. the service was a little slow (even when not busy), but great service nonetheless. would come back!

Yelp
The restaurant was very beautiful and looked upscale, it was also decorated tastefully for the holidays. Our service was fast and helpful. My table ordered the falafel pita, the 'Murica bowl, and the Harissa chicken pita (not pictured). We were all pleased with our food, however some items seem very pricey for what they are - namely the bowls which have a base price around $16 plus an additional $7 to add a protein option. However, I am pleased that they do offer a number of vegetarian options. It was nice to have more than one choice!

Yelp
Might be some of the best bacon I've had, but it took 45 minutes to bring out some runny scrambled eggs and not-toasted toast, way too long for a quick breakfast.

Yelp
A bit overpriced for the food. I think something got messed up with my takeout order as my quinoa tabbouleh ended up missing the herbs and spinach and was just quinoa, dressing, sliced cucumbers, feta and a lot of pickled onions for $13...eek. The flavor was good but to me the price wasn't justified with the ingredients and prep. Asked for a partial refund for the missing ingredients and was told no The Bolognese was a great portion for the price $18 but was a bit heavy handed with the fresh herbs. The rest of the menu looks good but the price would be more justifiable with the ambiance of the restaurant but too steep for carry out alone, especially with the lack of customer service to address the issue I reported.

Yelp
Excellent breakfast place. Casual but classy. Laid back vibe with quick and competent service. Friendly staff that was helpful and seemed like they enjoyed being there. The food was very tasty and came out hot and as ordered. I made a reservation and we were seated immediately. It was a bit noisy but that's the nature of the layout and matches the energy of the place. Would definitely return next time we are in Cleveland.
