"Lake Highlands Creamery’s closure comes on the heels of another shuttering of a beloved neighborhood creamery. Betty Ringer, which infused its ice creams with offbeat ingredients, had a loyal following but failed to generate the kind of traffic to keep its Sylvan Thirty doors open." - Alaena Hostetter

This really is some of the most unique ice cream in Dallas. The consistency is creamy with a wonderful richness and bold flavors. I tried the Kabocha and Chocolate Mezcal for my two scoops.

I was in there yesterday. What a great place. The people were very nice. They let me have samples of 4 or 5 flavors of the ice cream which is made fresh, right there in the back. I purchased a cone of pecan, whiskey & cherry ice cream. What a great treat. It was way over the top. Rich, creamy, a real mouth full of great flavors. Very innovative flavor combinations that I have not seen anywhere else. So unique and so damn good. Thank you Betty Ringer Ice Cream. You are a real winner!

While the ice cream was good I wish my daughter and I had the same customer service experience as All of the other customers that wrote reviews. There were 2 boys working behind the counter and right before I walked in on of their friends, I'm assuming since they were fully engaged with him and I was not even greeted. When it was my turn to place my order the boy behind the counter didn't say hi or even look up. Once he finished serving us he told me how much it was and that was the most he spoke. I am huge on customer service and this place was disappointing.

Nicest ice cream shop owner in Dallas! They have unique rotating flavors (matcha, pumpkin spice, horchata, etc) and they offer caramels and ice cream cookie sandwiches as well.

This stuff is totally made from scratch! The owner is very skilled and you won't find ice cream made from a pre-bought base in this shop. He said that they even make their marshmallows and caramel themselves.

New shop with FANTASTIC ice cream flavors! Cute shop with a very nice and engaging owner! He explained all the flavors and gave us plenty of samples.

Fresh, house-made ice cream with unique flavors like sticky rice (which is my new favorite) and goat cheese with cherries. Definitely my favorite ice cream shop in Dallas!

Whether it's creative flavors like Earl Grey Tea, Ube, or Oaxacan Chocolate, or favorites like Cookies and Cream or Cherry Vanilla, this ice cream is worth a visit. Have a pizza from the wood burning oven and a glass of wine on the patio at Cibo Divino, then indulge your sweet tooth with some of Dallas' best ice cream.
