The Latest New Orleans Restaurant and Bar Closings of 2020 - Eater New Orleans

"Betty’s was most recently known as the 700 Club, a French Quarter gay bar that became a late night eats destination with the arrival of Matt Hayes’s Faubourg Kitchen. Hayes announced the bar’s closure over the weekend, citing 'months of failed attempts to reach an agreement with our landlord.'" - Clair Lorell

Great locally owned gay bar with pub grub. Their fried Mac n chz bites are legendary. Awesome chill staff with a lovely neighborhood pub vibe. Gay straight and everything in between, all are made to feel welcome.

This is our go to gay bar in the Quarter and it never disappoints. On Sunday we stumbled upon a drag show and had a blast. We love this place and highly recommended it.

Happened upon this place on Fat Tuesday purposefully going towards the 🏳️‍🌈 flags wanting to get away from the rest of the scene to something more our scene. While waiting in line for the bathroom I saw someone eating a chicken sandwich that looked really good on what looked like a pretzel bun and had to try it since i didn’t know when I’d happen upon something else that looked that good especially around Bourbon Street. Really happy I did because the fried chicken sandwiches was so juicy and crunchy on the outside with really good flavor. And I know it was good good because I wasn’t drunk or starving and I finished the whole thing. Definitely favoriting this place so I can come back anytime I find myself in NOLA again.

Stopped by for a quick drink that wasn’t a million times overpriced, and had a lovely time. The staff is super friendly and the bar food is delicious! I definitely recommend stopping in for a drink and a fun time!

Really good no fuss food, even late night. Brooks was our server and recommended great beers drinks and dinner! Wings and pulled pork tots are on point. Great staff all around that make you feel very welcome even if you're from far away. Thanks so much!

We stayed at the inn right next door. We popped in to grab a bite and we did not stop coming back our entire stay. The food was next level and these mac an cheese bites are dangerous. I cannot recommend this place enough. The staff was awsome and remembered us every time. Truly a pleasure for anyone looking for a change of pace friendly faces and a good drink.
