My cousin and I stop by this morning. We were going to get carry out meals but we decided to sit and have breakfast. Oh My God!!! The biscuits are to die for. I can’t remember having biscuits this good since forever. But our whole meal was good, fried salmon, filet catfish cheese eggs and grits were delicious. We will make the trip again Soon!!!

The reviews for this place were good so I thought I would try it. Much to my dissatisfaction, the ham sandwich was poor. The ham was a thin piece of ham. It was on the menu as smoked ham. I was expecting a thicker slice. French fries were good. It took 20 minutes for me to get my lunch. $9 for a sandwich and fries. Service is good. But not enough for a return visit.

Used to eat at Betty’s before the pandemic, and they were not bad. Now that they’re reopened, and on my drive to work, I’ve eaten there a few times. The service is outstanding, they greet you soon as you’re thru the door, and quite polite. The food is phenomenal. Not a single thing I’ve had was bad, cooked perfect temp and seasoned to perfection. They have a ton of breakfast options. Only place I know to get grilled bologna biscuit. They also have a lunch menu that changes daily. Also, to top it off, at least one day a week, they give out a slice of cake to diners. I can’t recommend Betty’s enough!! Photos: 1: Bologna and Red Link Biscuit 2: Beef Liver w/onions & gravy, Mac&Cheese, Green Beans with a side of Peach Cobbler. 3: Fried Chicken Livers, Mac&Cheese, Creamed Corn and Fried Squash. 4: Beef Tips & Rice, Mac&Cheese and Green Beans.

Enjoyed this place I felt like I cheated them. The price is right plus it was awesome /delicious food as they say //quality controlled food//I also felt at home as I watched them prepare food with 100% excellently I was lucky I came early and got some fresh peace of homemade delicious German chocolate cake took it home and demolished it. This place deserves a 10.

The customer service here is excellent! Our waitress was attentive and went above and beyond. I wanted a strong brew decaf and she offered to double brew it just for me. That’s customer service! I gave the food a 4 because the French toast was undercooked but they quickly remade it. My salmon patties were okay but everything else was really good. We will definitely return to try other menu items. Adding potato’s can quickly bring up the price of a breakfast meal so be mindful of add ons. $17 for a basic breakfast (French toast, eggs, bacon, and side of hash browns) was a little high. Salmon patty, biscuit, and hash browns around $11. Give them a try.

I am so disappointed as this was my second time visiting. The first time (to go order) I received good customer service. Ordered a grilled salmon biscuit. Thought I'd bring my husband to try this place the next time I go back. Went back this morning. I ordered the Spanish omelet and selected grits and toast as my sides and I purchased a vegetable beef soup. My husband ordered a Sausage/egg & cheese biscuit with a side of grits. The waitress (which I found out to be the Manager) took the order. Later, I witnessed her eating a biscuit or something as she walked toward the kitchen, then came out to the dinning area where she placed her foot in a chair to tie her shoelace. When she brought out the food, she forgot my grits and vegetable soup (as we had previously asked for to go boxes so it would be quicker to leave when we finished eating and paid. My husband opened his grits only to find a VERY long piece of hair at the top! I don't know how this was omitted! The manager was so unbothered, didn't apologize at all. Only said she would bring him out another one. Needless to say both of our appetite was demolished and my husband told her that he no longer wanted the grits. I asked that she take my soup off as well as she was the one that prepared it. She took offense/rolled her eyes and mumbled something. I really wanted the soup but I asked that someone else prepare it. While I waited for my soup, I stood at the back of the dinning area to watch (with the cashier's approval, who also was the one who prepared it for me this time). The so called Manager came over to me and said "you can't stand right here". She turned a pleasant morning of having breakfast to a devastation in my opinion. She was so banal. As I was leaving out, the cashier was being nice and was talking about how hot the weather was today and the Manager blurted out, "Go find a pool to jump in". Surely I ignored her. This is a family business so I don't know if the Owner would address this or not. Needless to say, I will not be returning. This is sad because I enjoyed my sandwich on my first visit. My total bill came out to be $29.49. Having a good demeanor goes a long way. Too bad the manager is unaware of that. She (Manager) could have changed this experience around in a positive way. Yet she took the easy way out by resulting in being rude and unapologetic. So unfortunate....

Traveling to Atlanta, my hubby and I stopped at Betty’s Home Cooking for lunch. The food was delicious and priced very reasonably! I think they were recovering from a lunch rush, so service was a little slow and tables were slow getting cleaned, but overall the atmosphere was nice and staff was friendly.
