"Bevel Brewing is in the midtown industrial area tucked behind the DIY Cave, where visitors learn how to weld and woodwork. The tasting room and patio share the space with the 9th Street food pod, which includes house-made pickles at Nosh Street Food;  Mexican fare at Tacos El Nava; IndoDaddy with an Indonesian fusion menu including Lumpia, Banh Mi Sliders, Nasi Goreng, and peanutty chicken or tofu sate; and Little Red Kitchen with its Southern kitchen offerings. The tasting room offers flights, pints, a wide range of ales, and a few off-kilter options like barleywines. Bevel places small tasting glasses in holes of a decorated frisbee —a nod to owners Nate and Valarie Doss, who are world-renowned professional disc golfers—for those who want to compare the IPAs before filling a growler to take home." - Barb Gonzalez, Jeffrey Stull

Google
Best brewery in Bend, hands down! Beers are all amazing and constantly rotating new ones among the flagships. Great patio, live music, trivia, dog friendly, great food carts, you name it! Super stoked to see them continue growing!

Google
Maybe it is the sunshine or the blood orange seltzer talking, but seriously, come check out a unique venue with good IPA options and multiple food trucks. Staff are friendly, and a huge dog friendly patio. This is a great place for friends to gather and relax. Love it! Didn't even get a chance to try the putting disc course.

Google
This is an awesome location with a fun, outdoor area. It has food carts and a disks golf theme. This little hidden gem is tucked away where you could miss it if you were just driving by. But once you walk in, the atmosphere is lively and colorful! Friendly staff, good beer, cool food carts. I recommend checking it out if you’re looking for a new place in Bend to drink and be merry! They even thought of wheel chair accessibility and gender-neutral bathrooms!

Google
One of my favorite spots in town. They are super community friendly and very supportive of any Disc/Frisbee related Events. Highly recommend the Black Ace! Definitely my favorite beer on tap.

Kiara Boggs

Google
Really fun brewery to try, and they had a full range of beers to try while we were there. Got a flight that came in a custom frisbee which was super fun, and the guy was friendly and cheerful. We liked all the beers we tried, from a sour to IPA to a pale. They have an awesome outdoor space and plenty of parking room.

Google
A nice chill spot; refuge from wildfire smoke! Loved the Maibock. They’ve thought of you, your pet, your infant, anyone who is differently abled. This is a welcoming place.

Google
Close to 5 stars but no stouts. Add an Imperial Stout! Plenty of parking and a good assortment of food trucks. They had a Cascade Dark Ale which was good but no stouts (or porters). Lots of tables but I saw no IR heaters for cold nights. Bldg next door has jome brew classes.

Google
Fun place. Cool shtick with the disc golf theme. Beer was good. Looking forward to trying more of them. I had the Hop Tour Series - Mandarina Bavaria and it was a decent brew for sure. They have a fun game you can give a shot... toss your coaster at the basket.

Matt R.

Yelp
This a quaint location. Like a hidden pocket park in an otherwise sterile, industrial neighborhood. Great beer. Unique food carts. Plenty of seating. And various activities for the family and kids. Dog friendly. And, didn't mention they have great beer?

Kathleen W.

Yelp
Another hreat brewery with nice vibes and plenty of discs decorated all over, tvs playing a baseball game and disc gold competitions. My SO discovered the owners used to compete in disc golf so it makes sense with all the decor. The beer flights were served on disc golfs too which were a great touch. My SO got another glass of wine and more beer after cause he really enjoyed the taste of everything.

Whitney W.

Yelp
My husband and I came here 8/22/24 around 2 pm to miss the rain and grab some beers! Great service and selection of awesome beers on tap. Huge outdoor area with 4-5 Food trucks. Indoor and outdoor seating. Lots of disc golf memorabilia and disc to buy as well! Cheers great beers!

Vanessa D.

Yelp
Came here on a tour with Wanderlust. The tour was absolutely fantastic. Justin (one of the co-owners), have us the tour. He was friendly, informative and funny. Unfortunately at this point in our libations tour, we were running late so the tour had to be cut short. I know the first beer we had was a Saison IPA, which was pretty good. Can't remember the second one we had and the last one was a sour which I was not a fan of only because I don't like sours. It was exciting to learn about disc golf, which I'd literally never heard of that sport in my life or even knew it existed. I would definitely return for a hang out and beer

Ricky R.

Yelp
We visited on a day we were just hanging out in Bend proper. It was a cool environment and pretty tasty beer. I would recommend for a hang for sure, they have some cool art up as well. Cool vibe, chill place, pretty tasty beer.

Alden C.

Yelp
Bevel was one of the breweries we went to on a recent trip to Bend. This place is pretty special to me. Not only is the beer good but behind the building there is a wide variety of food trucks you can pick from that are just amazing. It sounds like the food truck line up changes often and rotates. We went to a food truck where we got some house made tater tots. Absolutely stunning and wonderful to eat. If only this was the example tater tots were based off of. But anyway, onto the beer. I got a pale ale from the taproom the Par Save Pale. It was good pale ale with it's piney, earthy and floral flavors. Definitely a well balanced beer. In addition to that I got a local cider that was a guest tap that was fantastic. Eventually we made it over to that cidery later in the trip. Bevel proved to be a really fun experience and I'd make return trips just for those food trucks!

Paul R.

Yelp
The beer was delicious! I had the evil genius and their 5th anniversary. Not to mention, I took home a growler fill of the 5th anniversary as well. Vanessa, the beertender was wonderful! Next time I'm in Bend, I definitely will be stopping by! Cheers!

Yelp
First visit to Bend, OR from NW Ohio. On a recommendation by my gf's Uncle we made the attempt to stop in and say hello to one of the managers, Justin. Unfortunately, he was not going to be working until later. We sampled a couple of the craft beer selections and decided on the Avid Cider Jungle Juice and the Max Weight Wee Heavy. Very impressed with both. We ventured out to the food trucks and Aina and Tots were open today so we got food from both. Tots - we mixed 2 choices of the dry rubs: blackberry balsamic and the lime & raw honey; both were very good. Aina - poke nachos (ahi). OMGoodness! I thought I died and was in heaven eating these wonton nachos. Fantastic. Bevel seems to be a low-key establishment that has a good selection of craft brews, good service, and fairly priced as well. I will definitely stop by here the next time I am in Bend! Well done, very well done...

Dawn R.

Yelp
This is a fun place with tasty flights. Stumbled on a jazz band playing here and they were so good. Several food trucks too.

Brandon N.

Yelp
The Beers are good but the worker never learned how to say thank you. I asked what the beers were that my wife had already ordered so that she could get her something new and he looked at me like I wasn't there. I'm sure they see everything but a simple thank you one out of four times to the bar would be nice.

Michele G.

Yelp
First time here decided to check it out on our visit to Bend. Fantastic patio with inside outside seating. Food trucks to choose from. If you are a disc golf person, then this is your place! Some of their merch I are discs! The guys that own it are disc champions! Go check them out!

Yelp
Update: To clarify: My dog is a service animal! However, the approach I had received was an IMMEDIATE refusal of service. No question as to whether or not the animal I had with me was a service animal or not. I was just told : "You can't have that dog in here" and turned their attention away from me. I then had to tie my dog up outside before I was attended to. Suggest you have some ADA training on the guidelines of what a service animal ACTUALLY is and how loosely the definition carries to all leashed pets. Don't forget the stipulation by the HIPA explaining that one cannot actually ask what the dog does or ask to perform. basically, if it's "a service animal" by definition stipulated by the ADA *keep in mind it is very loose, the dog is allowed in there, REGARDLESS of the complaints received by other clients. It is not their business, it's YOURs.

Yelp
Being from Southern California, I have never seen the concept of a brewery with a courtyard with food trailers. The beer was great and the different options for food was a definite plus!

Karen V.

Yelp
Lots of open space to hang out with friends. We ordered pizza from the food carts and it was delish. Had the Freestyle Juicy IPA and it was good! Also had a blueberry cider which was easy drinking. Bar staff were fun! Will return in the summer to enjoy no the outdoor space when it's not drizzly weather. Looks like a chill space outside.

Jerry C.

Yelp
Really good beer, and nice selection. The people behind the bar are very friendly and welcoming. Nice selection of different kinds of foods from 4 food trucks. Disc golf atmosphere with the owners being wold champions. They even have a nice disc golf putting area out back.

Jessica B.

Yelp
Toured & sampled. The history & story of the owners & how they came together thru Disc Golf is awesome. Check out the wall of memorabilia!

Robin S.

Yelp
Bevel - a disc golf themed operation - promises hop forward beers in a casual tasting room in the 9th Street Village, which means you get easy access to the food trucks that inhabit the locale. - Medium-sized bar where you can watch disc golf on the TV. - Several tables scattered about. The bar area is fairly open, not at all crowded. And you can sit outside. - A very casual vibe, no loud music, not much in the way of distractions. If you've been to Bridge 99 off Empire, Bevel is kind of like that in terms of ambiance. Beer: - Prices are in line with the rest of Bend. $5.50/pint. - 1st Run: an easy-drinking IPA that isn't super hoppy. - 2nd Run: an easy-drinking IPA with quite a bit more hoppiness. - Tree Love: a red ale that also drinks well (there's a theme here) and has a bit of hoppiness. - Hop Tour Series Mosaic: my favorite of the IPA/IRA's. Quite hoppy. - Black Ace Cascadian dark ale looks very nice and drinks like a black IPA. It's a bit too high in ABV for me to have regularly (7.6%). - Larry-s Pale: I wasn't expecting much from a pale but was pleasantly surprised. Almost every craft brewer these days provides IBU numbers for their beers (International Bittering Units), but not here. That's something I think they should change - some folks have a lower tolerance to hops and some folks (me) just like knowing the numbers. Parking can be a challenge during busy times. You may have to find street parking and even that might be scarce. Recommended.

Yelp
Been wanting to check out Bevel since they opened. Finally got to do it today. Both my partner in crime and I agreed we like Bevel a lot. We love the simplicity of the place, the friendliness of the staff. The hubby enjoyed his Bicentennial DIPA while I, a non-beer drinker enjoyed my Humm hopped grapefruit kombucha. They had 4 food trucks(that I saw). Didn't get to try the food but we will next time. Not a fan of the parking lot but oh well. One thing that surprised me and one that we appreciate....they offer military discount. We will be back!

David P.

Yelp
Definitely a great hang for community! The outdoor food truck and fire pit patio is awesome, and the indoor vibe is pretty sweet as well. As I browse through the venue, I can't help but notice that it has a disc golf theme. Though I have yet to ask, it seems to me that the owners are former Disc Golf World Champions (2009)All in all, a great beer selection with a specialty and IPAs.

Stephanie S.

Yelp
Great stop! They have a big outdoor space with lots of seating and a few food trucks as well. I had the saison which was a good beer, perfect for a summer day. It's a comfortable spot to enjoy a drink!

Rob S.

Yelp
Great beer and friendly staff! Enjoyed a little disc golf practice out back. Good selection of food trucks onsite but had already eaten so didn't get to check any of those.

Casey J.

Yelp
Great selection of beers and a chill environment to hang out. We had the "Nosh" food truck and had the Cubano and the special. Both were amazing! Try the ciders.

Vernon H.

Yelp
I was in Bend for a ski trip this winter and really excited to try the various craft breweries. Disclaimer: I am a craft brew snob and have extreme opinions! So, I was having a difficult trip and not really enjoying brewery after Bend brewery having to endure a lot of ho hum brews. Then I went to Bevel and finally found some great brews in the style that I am more accustomed to. My wife and I got the taster (served on a disc of course) of several lightly hopped pale ales and some more robustly hopped IPA's. All were delicious. I especially appreciated the pale ales, as their lighter malt profile really helped the single hop variety used stand out. It cool that they are using some of the newer available hop hybrids too. My favorite being the Idaho Gem. We had kids with us and they were comfortable with some sodas being available. Then they found the food trucks! What a treat and we found some of the best garlic fries ever ravaged by this family! If you love craft beer, go to Bevel Craft Brewing. You will love it.

Chelsea C.

Yelp
Came here while in town and loved it. Great craft beer and bartender and couple that ran trivia night were really friendly!

Mike S.

Yelp
What a great place. Great beer, great vibes, great staff. I am mostly a IPA guy so I tried them all. Enjoyed them all. I was visiting from CA where they love to over hop the beers. It was nice drinking IPAs with flavor that go down smooth. My favorite beer was actually not a IPA. I loved the black ale, Black Ace. It is a wow beer. Which brings me to the great staff. I bought a 32 oz can of it but for some reason it leaked at the seal. Came back that night to let the know. The replaced it and sent me home with a IPA for my troubles. Well it leaked again so we went back two days later and they were so great again. Knowing I was heading home the next day they replaced the can with a growler. What service. Got home Saturday and emptied the growler with some friends Sunday. They all loved the beer. Multiple food trucks on site also. Looking forward to my next Bend visit.

Avery J.

Yelp
The newest Craft Brewery in Bend, Oregon is home to an excellent array of hop-centric deliciousness! Bevel is all about offering a comfortable beer drinking atmosphere with seating at the bar, the indoor tables and the patio outside. There's nothing like soaking up that Central Oregon sunshine and enjoying a fresh First Run! These Disc Golf World Champions feature the very best in IPA variations that any craft beer drinker will be sure to find their personal favorite! This is a must stop for any Disc Golfer, Craft Beer Fanatic or combination of both, Bevel Craft Brewery is where you want to be! Cheers!

Lili F.

Yelp
yummy food trucks, great people and venue! planning to go back this summer with friends!

Whitney L.

Yelp
Fantastic Beer! And the Hawaiian food truck there is so delicious. I tried the crunchy poke bowl, highly recommend!

Teri A.

Yelp
Tried this place for the first time and we will definitely be coming back for more! Large, dog-friendly outdoor seating area surrounded on two sides by 4 food trucks. Only 2 were open the day we there but the food from Aina Kauai Grill was amazing. I had the Poke Bowl and hubs had the Katsu Tuna. I know, brave souls having tuna from a food truck, but it was outstanding! The beer selection was great with plenty of variety.

Constance H.

Yelp
Had a wonderful Friday afternoon discovering this brewery!!! Had a delicious IPA and chatted with one of the owners about the history of the pub, their ideas for brewing, and just thriving in Bend which has so many breweries. The atmosphere here, especially during COVID-19, chef's kiss. Cleanliness, fast, friendly, great patio space & food carts. I will definitely be back here next time I venture to Bend.

Alice W.

Yelp
Came by Friday after work for a drink and some food. Really well priced and good beer! You can order half orders if a pint is too much which is nice.

Mike G.

Yelp
Good beer and awesome atmosphere. Their outdoor area is spacious and the vibes are immaculate. Nice to have 4 food carts to choose from. Friendly and accommodating staff.

Brian O.

Yelp
Bevel is a great new addition to Bend. They have some great beers on tap, a really cool location, and great staff. The indoor and outdoor seating and hang areas are a huge bonus too. I love how many food cart options there are. This place was great from the start but will continue to get better with time.

Leanne M.

Yelp
Great selection of beers, especially if you love IPAs. I ordered the Larry's Pale Ale and it had just a bit of bitterness. There were some food trucks there today too but we'd already eaten lunch.

Tim M.

Yelp
Amazing beer and people! Food trucks that were open were awesome! I will definitely be back soon to get some crowlers to go!!

Ang H.

Yelp
This place ROCKS. The food trucks are absolutely amazing and offer something for everyone. Find the one with the Poutine and GET IT. A+ social distancing situation with spread out tables and nice fires for getting warm. We were there on a sunny February Saturday and had no problem finding a table or staying warm. Beer is fantastic. Nice bathrooms, plenty of parking, and just an overall great vibe.

Reanna B.

Yelp
This gem ticks all the boxes for me. delicious beer Great vibe Friendly and helpful staff Kid friendly Great food carts Disc golf hole

S W.

Yelp
These guys are amazing and offer some of the best beer in Deschutes County, not to mention Bend. So nice to be surrounded by food trucks and I've never heard of the professional disc golf channel until visiting. Now I'm thinking about getting satellite TV again just to watch this channel and drink their beer.

Brittany T.

Yelp
I'm excited about this place. The beer is good and I'm not a fan of IPAs at all. But they have a god selection and nothing I tasted could I say I hated. I wish they would have a sour on tap instead of cider. The patio is well laid out, but the rocks are a bummer and some of the plastic chairs were broken. It's still new so maybe they're working out the kinks.

Bernadette S.

Yelp
Idaho Gem & Sky Styler were my favorite beers today. Great environment & the food trucks were OOTW delicious.

Scott C.

Yelp
I love the place. Feels like a co-op around that entire area. Cool spot to hangout. The inside isn't spectacular.....but give it a rest people.....they just opened. I've been around many start ups and these guys are ahead of the curve. The beer is some of the best in Bend. Love the IPAs. Had the CDA yesterday and was among the best I've had. I'll be here often.

Whitney J.

Yelp
More like 3.5. Beer selection was ok, nothing really memorable. Most new breweries all seem to have the same flavors now which is kind of disappointing. But. Their outside and inside seating area is pretty legit. It's decorated very distinct to their theme, very entertaining. Food trucks are always a nice touch, but it was hard to find just standard bar food. The one place that looked normal wasn't there... burgers and fries. I had the Mexican food truck which was decent, fair prices. Hopefully they come out with more beer and more variety.

Nancy N.

Yelp
Great Beer really put heat and soul in it Wonderful environment with food tucks and Owners and personal are GREAT

Alex R.

Yelp
The place is just mediocre to me. Beer selection was IPA heavy and Bend needs to get over that. Bartender needs to pay more attention to empty glasses and not his phone. Not much atmosphere or anything to make you feel like your in a comfortable space.

Mama P.

Yelp
Love the (tried and true tested) concept of a brewery surrounded by food trucks. During the middle of the week, only two of the four trucks are open so you are more limited on food choices. The beer was good and they also had quite a few non-alcoholic options for the sobers and the kids - CBD soda, kombucha, Capri Sun (yes!), and a couple of others. Great pricing at $5.50 a pint, which is about the average at tap rooms around town. About 12 beers and ciders on tap when we were there.

Stephanie T.

Yelp
This place is great! We came across it on recommendation from the Trail Benders driver and loves its IPA heavy menu. The CDA was my husbands favorite but a give the mosaic everyday. This place is very Bendy. Art. Beer. Food. Beer. Sold. Justin and Nate do a great job.

Liz D.

Yelp
This place is a delight. We went on a late Saturday afternoon. It wasn't too busy. The beer choices were very good, and the food trucks were also very good. We really enjoyed the southern style truck. The setting is so relaxing. I bet at night is is especially nice. We will be back. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars: It was a very warm day and I wish there would have been more umbrellas, and the food truck I thought would be there wasn't.

Nicole L.

Yelp
I love Bevel. A great place to hang out with the doggo and have a drink and a great bit to eat at any of their 4 food trucks. I also appreciate them follow the covid regulations even though it might be a hassle.

Tom W.

Yelp
Beers are so so. Commercial like indoor space, some outdoor seating with food trucks. This lacks all the ambiance of other more developed brew pubs. Perhaps in time it will offer more comfortable space.
