Our property management folks hired Brian from Beverly Bees to remove a hive/nest that had formed in our wall over the course of a year or so. Brian came in and immediately impressed my wife and I wrote his knowledge, which was much welcomed after a year of us attempting to have the bees removed. He went in through the ceiling in our bathroom, and when that didn't yield access to the hive, he adjusted and gained access through the front exterior wall. Very impressive to see him work with the shopvac and other tools on the roof of our porch. After removing what was left of the hive he patched up both the inside and outside of the house! I would highly recommend these folks if you have bee removal needs. Don't make the mistake that our PM did, spraying with chemicals and whatnot - call Beverly Bees.

Purchased a jar of Beverly Bees honey for my family & I for seasonal allergies. Not only is the honey absolutely delicious, but the owners are wonderful and truly care about their work. There was some construction making it difficult for me to get to Beverly Bees, so the owner went out of his way to meet me nearby with my jar. Amazing customer service! Will purchase from them again!

Beverly Bees has fabulous, genuine beeswax candles in an array of sizes, designs, and price points. I enjoy the clean burn, the natural existing light honey smell without toxic additives. These candles are long lasting, pretty, shipped quickly, and I will be a repeat customer!! Thank you to you and your staff!

A group of yellow jackets decided to take up residence in our front stairs, and since we had a small child, we knew we needed to relocate them. My husband and I were against killing them because we know how important they are to the ecosystem, so we looked into more humane ways of removal. I’ve been familiar with Beverly Bees for a long time and shopped at their Salem location (now closed) frequently. I figured since they were friends of bees, they might have a solution. I called on a Thursday and scheduled a removal for the following Monday - yes, that fast! Brian was fantastic and explained what he needed to do to remove the underground nest. Sure enough, he moved some dirt and a swarm emerged of over 1,000 yellow jackets. Brian collected them and removed them in less than 30 minutes. Because it was during the day, he said some yellow jackets who were “out and not home” might linger for a few days, but once they realize their house is gone, they will move on. The clarity, customer education, and speed of service is something every homeowner (especially a worried mom) dreams about. I highly recommend Beverly Bees for removal services AND if you are looking for a gift idea - their candles are amazing and the local honey can’t be beat. Thank you, Beverly Bees!

Honey went rancid and exploded everywhere. They claimed that it was “fermenting,” which is “generally” safe to consume, but I quite honestly don’t see how it can be safe to consume if I have no idea what is causing the fermenting. I did not purchase fermented honey, I purchased RAW honey. I asked for a refund, they took a week to respond, then claimed I could not receive a refund because my inquiry was not within 30 days, even though I was within the window when I made my first inquiry. When I pointed this out, they still said no. Bad customer service, would not shop here.

I absolutely love the tea-light refills. They burn perfectly & I just love how pure the beeswax is. I also got two fleur de lis candles for my sister & I. They are absolutely too stunning to burn so we have them placed on our alters for now. I had an issue with my order & it was quickly resolved. I will continue to order from Beverly Bees for all my beeswax candle needs!✨🕯️✨

Excellent candles and even more excellent service. We had a very large order of candles and each one came out perfectly. We expected them to be shipped but instead they were hand delivered by Beverly Bees directly to our office. Our employees are thrilled with the candles and I am thrilled with the experience of working with BB.

I met the vendor at his stand in a farmer’s market outside of the Boston Public Library. He was very engaging. As we were admiring his candles, bees started to fly around his products and he handled them like they were his friends. (He joked that they were trained, and I believed him until he said he was kidding!). The candles were beautiful and smelled lovely. I bought a rat and a sunflower for my girls, but he has more gorgeous selections online. I also bought some amazing chapstick that goes on very smooth without the stickiness of other wax-based lip balms. I didn’t try any honey only because I was flying home within a couple of hours, but if I get the chance, I will.

Yelp
Came through on a Thursday with my friend and we were doing some window shopping upon seeing a sign advertising beeswax goodies. The second part that caught my eye was the beautiful hive! Nice to see the lil bees do their thing. There's a variety of unique beeswax candles with incredible designs. My eyes landed on some chapstick and I constantly need lip balm at work from the dry air in the lab. After smelling the unique scents, I went with the classically calming lavender! Now every time I swipe my lips at work, I think of the fond memories made in Salem including seeing this gem of a store! Keeps my lips nicely moisturized and soothing with the scent.

Yelp
Interesting shop with a live bee exhibit. They primarily sell beeswax candles but also offer other bee sourced products. The beehive is located as you enter the shop. Bees are constantly coming and going through a clear pipe entrance outside. The owner was very friendly, knowledgeable, and answered our questions. They had a few rare preserved insects such as a murder hornet for sale in a small glass case.

Yelp
Called multiple times. No response amazingly this small business does not want new customers. Emailed twice. No response.

Yelp
They rock! I had tons of carpenter bees living in my deck door. Since carpenter bees are pollinators, I didn't want to kill them, but obviously I do not want bees in my door. Every other service I called said that you had to kill carpenter bees or else you couldn't be sure they were all gone. I finally found Beverly Bees, and he said of course you can relocate carpenter bees. He came out two days later and took the bees and put them all in his truck to bring back to Beverly (who drives with bees in their truck?? So brave). I was worried they'd come back, but he assured me they wouldn't - I actually waited five days before writing this review to double check, and yup, still haven't seen any bees. And as a bonus, not only did he save the bees, it ended up costing half of the cheapest exterminator service I found.

Yelp
Such a cute spot! The employees were so nice and knowledgeable about all their different products. Prices were reasonable for their fresh, self harvested honey and homemade candles. Thank you Beverly Bees!

Yelp
I'm thinking it may not be entirely fair to the bee keepers however, they need to update there address. I used Google maps to find the location listed on Yelp and it leads to a private compound with no trespassing notices everywhere. I left and didn't look back.

Yelp
I can't review them for their actual service, because the wasps I have ended up being the solitary kind that they don't remove. The man I dealt with at my house was very nice, but then he mentioned a $100 informational fee. I was beside myself but didn't want to challenge him given that I was by myself and he was at my home. I couldn't believe they wouldn't disclose a $100 fee just for coming out. I still feel like this might fall under deceptive practices with the FTC, which could easily be resolved by just putting a disclaimer somewhere on their website.

Yelp
I love love LOVE this place! The staff are so friendly and they have the best honey I've ever tried! I can literally eat the honey straight from the jar with a spoon it's so good. 10/10 recommended this place for all honey and honey products! I was lucky enough to get some honeycomb before they sold out and it was absolutely worth the half hour walk downtown to get it! Such a wonderful/cute/awesome store!

Yelp
Excellent company to deal with, very knowledgeable. Brian really knows his stuff. We thought we had bees but we had wasps. They made an appointment, came prepared for anything and dealt with our problem along with an education about bees and wasps. Highly recommend using Bevery Bees.
