A group of yellow jackets decided to take up residence in our front stairs, and since we had a small child, we knew we needed to relocate them. My husband and I were against killing them because we know how important they are to the ecosystem, so we looked into more humane ways of removal. I’ve been familiar with Beverly Bees for a long time and shopped at their Salem location (now closed) frequently. I figured since they were friends of bees, they might have a solution.
I called on a Thursday and scheduled a removal for the following Monday - yes, that fast! Brian was fantastic and explained what he needed to do to remove the underground nest. Sure enough, he moved some dirt and a swarm emerged of over 1,000 yellow jackets. Brian collected them and removed them in less than 30 minutes. Because it was during the day, he said some yellow jackets who were “out and not home” might linger for a few days, but once they realize their house is gone, they will move on.
The clarity, customer education, and speed of service is something every homeowner (especially a worried mom) dreams about. I highly recommend Beverly Bees for removal services AND if you are looking for a gift idea - their candles are amazing and the local honey can’t be beat. Thank you, Beverly Bees!
