Kendall Jenner’s Dog Allegedly Bites Young Girl at Beverly Hills Restaurant - Eater LA

"Reality star Kendall Jenner's dog allegedly bit a five-year-old girl at the Beverly Glen Deli while Jenner was dining with Ben Simmons. There are conflicting reports about the incident, with one stating that the dog bit the child, while another suggests the child was only startled. Jenner and Simmons left the deli quickly after the incident, leaving cash on the table, prompting the girl's mother to call the LAPD. The deli refused to comment on the incident." - Mona Holmes

Tried this place randomly. Was quite surprised at the excellent quality of the food. Burger was delicious and i loved their Curly and waffle fries. The floor when I visited was a bit messy but in the tight quarters and the busy restaurant I don't hold it too much against them.

Google
Beverly Glen Deli is a longtime go-to spot in the Glen Centre, serving up classic deli fare in one of the nicer pockets of Los Angeles. It’s a popular choice for locals and professionals in the area looking for a casual lunch or relaxed breakfast, with plenty of regular foot traffic and steady service. The vegetarian pea soup is hearty and satisfying, though it doesn’t break new ground. It’s a comforting choice, especially on cooler days, but don’t expect a culinary revelation. The chopped salad stands out with its fresh ingredients and crisp textures, making it a reliable option for a light yet filling meal. Service here is consistently friendly and attentive, contributing to the deli’s inviting atmosphere. Whether you’re dining in or taking out, the staff ensures a pleasant experience. The menu is extensive, catering to a variety of tastes, from traditional deli sandwiches to more contemporary offerings. Pricing is fair, especially considering the quality of ingredients and the generous portion sizes. While some dishes might not dazzle, the overall food quality is high, making it a dependable choice for a casual meal. The setting is comfortable, with both indoor and outdoor seating options. It’s an ideal spot for a relaxed lunch or a weekend brunch, offering a respite from the city’s hustle. In summary, Beverly Glen Deli delivers a solid dining experience. It’s not the place for avant-garde cuisine, but it excels in providing classic deli fare with a friendly touch. For those in the area seeking a reliable and pleasant meal, it’s a commendable choice.

Google
Wonderful. Very hospitable. Excellent food, great service, great atmosphere. We were 2 couples wanting a light lunch. Each couple split their plate and the server was very accommodating. Everyone there was very nice. We can highly recommend and we will be returning soon.

Google
Food was fine. Service was fine. Nice, cozy atmosphere. Just a simple, traditional diner. Spotted two different celebrities who walked in to eat (this was in the morning on a normal weekday). Looked like they were regulars, nobody bat an eye when they entered.

Google
Great Rueben sandwich, but I really wanted to write for the service. I left one of my favorite sports coats draped over the chair... and then got on a flight home. I called, without much hope that anything would come from it. But not only did they find my jacket, they overnighted it back to me and it got to me in two days. Thanks again for good eats and even better service. Next time I'm in the area, I'm coming back.

Google
I love this place because it had a diner setting including an outside patio that was protected by carps and heaters which was absolutely darling and very comfortable to sit in still while sitting outside. The food was very delicious and I’m glad they had a fresh juice option which is the orange juice. However the reason why I put four stars is because they called a large orange juice a very small glass. And it cost 450 for each glass which we thought was extremely expensive compared to the small orange juice which is 350 it should just be a large for 350 with a larger amount of orange juice in a larger glass. We spoke with Sofi our server which she was absolutely super cool and took our order very well and was very knowledgeable and enjoyed her service. The food was served great portions and served very well very delicious and high-quality I loved the fact that she brought us our extra dips for the fries and sweet potatoes in small saucer plates that gave us room to dip and gave us plenty to take home with us for our leftovers..

Google
We always have such a great time here. Sometimes the service is amazing. Sometimes, it leaves much to be desired =) But whatever the waitstaff from Season to Season, it always feels like a small reprieve from the craziness outside and for those 1-2 hours, you're treated to great Delicatessen, warm and welcoming ownership, and a beautiful fun atmosphere. Though certainly no guarantee, you'll likely spot a few celebrities over the weekend if you were to set up in one of the corners and observe the comings and goings. Again - not a reason to go and certainly not guaranteed, but Adam Sandler, Pam Anderson, Benjamin Bratt, Justin Bieber, and Harry Hamlin have all been spotted here fairly recently hidden under baseball caps and hoodies and if recognized - always sweet and happy to say hi. Very neighborhood-y vibe, and while not inexpensive, not any worse than what you'll find in the Hills Of Beverly. Highly recommend if a breakfast, lunch, brunch or sandwich is what you're seeking in a fun, pleasant, welcoming, appealing space!

Google
Excellent deli. I love the sandwiches. They have many to choose from. I had the pastrami sandwich on rye, and it was delicious. Coffee is also very good. You may need to wait for a table on weekends. Also the parking lot is always busy and you may need to wait for a spot too.

Yelp
Beverly Glen Deli is a neighborhood gem. I've been coming here for more than 20 years. The servers are all soooooo nice and service is always perfect. I get the same thing every time I come... a turkey reuben! It's so damned good. Get the curly fries well done. They're amazing. My husband gets the cheese blintzes. The crepe they use is eggy and awesome. The best ones he's ever had. Plus it's a fun local crowd. You've gotta go!

Yelp
Had this delivered by Doordash. We were both hopeful and worried. It's a little far, so were fearing a little that we'd love it and wouldn't be able to get it again (farther places tend to drop off DoorDash) Well we didn't have to worry. Soooooooo bland!! Everything was just so bland. It was all kinda tasteless. Maybe they have a lot of heart patients, and they cook without any salt...so, added some. It's still bland, but at least edible. The best of everything was the Kishka Appetizer. The Matzo Ball Soup was blah. The Turkey with Stuffing was basically tasteless. (At least the turkey wasn't dry, so guess that's something.) I've never tasted a worse Tuna Salad sandwich. I didn't know you could make one with NO flavor... maybe I have Covid... Nope, I absolutely don't, lol Wow. That was pretty bad. Gave it 2 stars as the Kishka was ok drenched in gravy after adding some spices and salt, and the turkey itself wasn't dry, just lacked flavor. That can be fixed on a sandwich (though that stuffing - ugh! Yuck! THAT was rubbery and gross) Oh well, live and learn!

Yelp
always great time at Beverly Glen Deli. Happy to meet friends for breakfast great service thank you

Yelp
So I've come tot his place for years but for various reasons have myself there more lately due to being in the area. I love the location and the fact that it still feels like an old school small diner. The service is always incredibly kind and in that neighborhood I've witness some of the patrons being less than friendly and patient and the staff always serves with a smile. The food is good. It really depends on what you order. I always pretty much get a Cobb wrap. I'm addicted to their steak fries and blue cheese dressing! That stuff is seriously good. It's both French fry dressing and salad dressing (because there is a difference). I've also had some of their sandwiches which are pretty good. Overall, it's exactly what I'd want in a small diner.

Breana O.

Yelp
Ordered delivery through UberEats (as I have on many other occasions). The food arrived hot, packed well, and organized in the bag! On the order of a ground beef steak with mash potatoes turkey gravy was received and could not be used! I think the restaurant should know to send beef gravy with a beef entree. Also, as a person with celiac disease. I have noticed that some sandwiches have the option to change the bread to gluten free bread, I would love to see that option available for more sandwiches and even burgers!
google avatar

Wendy G.

Yelp
Very busy, short staffed food is a two out of five. Not a good amount of delis in the valley. Move on..
google avatar

Charles M.

Yelp
Cockroaches on the booths occasionally. And rude hostesses who have a dead-attitude and always forget your order. They are always stoned and smell like marijuana. I highly unrecommend this place
google avatar

Olenka O.

Yelp
Cockroaches in the booths. Omg this is my 4th time here and almost every time there are cockroaches in the booths D: The food is average and the service is poor, and the hostesses are rude. I would pass this for fabrocini's, or even Starbucks tbh...

Yelp
Major traffic due to downpour rain, pulled into Beverly Glen Circle on my way to the city, took a break to get a quick bite. The deli has extensive menu and friendly staff. Has an old deli feel with Indoor and outdoor seating - heated patio. Food tasted great and their matzo ball soup hit the spot.

David Y.

Yelp
The matza ball soup that you used to get for $13.25 is now half the size and same price. Basically the price of this soup has gone up by double!! F this place!! I will now order from canters deli that gives you double the amount for the same price.

Bill H.

Yelp
Nice shopping center but extremely disappointed with the Beverly Glen Deli. Terribly slow, non responsive service and way overpriced... a $25 salad that was mediocre at best. Brown avocado on the plate which was unacceptable and overall a salad on par with a fast food restaurant for $10. I won't return!
google avatar

Betty G.

Yelp
It is usually quite busy which causes the service to be slow occasionally. Love the food and free valet parking. Love the patio seating and ball games on many televisions. Highly recommend.

Yelp
I love coming here. Always happy with the service, my wife loves her perfectly toasted tuna melt and I usually get the Chinese chicken (in a spinach) wrap or a chili burger, my friend loves their veggie/hummus platter, and for breakfast I dig their Matzah Brei. Actually, almost everything I get on the menu I really love. We come in weekends or when I drive over the hill. Also on Saturdays you can check out the farmers market in the parking lot before or after. P.S. I can't believe people complain about the decor. I LOVE 70s diner vibes, it's exactly what it should be and it's clean. I have to say everybody, from the owners, to the waiters and busboys are super nice and attentive, so, for this NYer, this is has become my place, because they make you feel like you are home away from home!

Matt L.

Yelp
Los Angeles has been a deli desert for a while, but the Bev Glen Deli has been there for our family for decades and it's always been terrific. The breakfast crowd gets a little rowdy outside with dogs, and it's almost always busy, but I can't get enough of their beef dip sandwich (hint...get it on an onion roll and ask for horse radish sauce with the au jus!) Like most delis, their menu is massive! Always a miracle that they never run out. Oh, an my kids just remixed me that their pickles are "awesome!"
google avatar

Kimi L.

Yelp
Customer service and food were excellent! Really like this place. It's very comfortable for smaller parties and has great outside seating as well.
google avatar

Maritza S.

Yelp
I ordered delivery from this place! I got their vegetarian burger and waffle fries. The fries were bomb! And the burger was tasty as well! They delivered my food quickly ! Both the person on the phone taking my order and the person who delivered the food were nice and efficient!
google avatar

Allie G.

Yelp
This deli hits the spot! I've eaten here twice now and both times have gotten great quality food. Today I came for breakfast and ordered a 2 item omelette (I asked for bacon and bell peppers); for the sides I asked for potatoes and an English muffin. For the sweet tooth I ordered French toast. When I say everything was delicious! The bacon was super crispy, the omelette was perfectly cooked and folded so cutely. I could smell the cinnamon and sugar from my French toast before it hit the table. Even their butter is good! We sat outside since the weather was perfectly sunny. Only reason I don't give 5 stars is the service is a bit slow. They were definitely busy but overall not enough staffing; at least not for the Al fresco tables. But wow was this still such a satisfying meal and great way to start your day. I highly recommend coming!
google avatar

ZeAnnah A.

Yelp
First time here and they had great customer service! Food was tasty! I forgot to take pictures of our food before we started eating
google avatar

Angela D.

Yelp
My daughter and I eat here when we just want to have a relaxing, enjoyable "brunch" The environment is so pleaasant and Steve always greets the two of us as if we were family We have brought several out of town friends to eat here and they have had a great time too This place is a gem for atmosphere and food Would highly recommend We love it!!

Jason B.

Yelp
It was average. They delivered I ordered the burger and a Ruben sandwich. The fries were soggy. The rest was very average touching slightly below average. But they delivered so that is something.
google avatar

Vonpato D.

Yelp
Food like home, Service - Friendly staff welcomes you, there's a line to get in, wish it be a bigger place ambiance- relaxing, excellent for morning breakfast, In my case after a Krav Maga Class

K G.

Yelp
Terrible host .It seems like they don't care at all about potentially losing their customers.
google avatar

Derek B.

Yelp
This is for delivery by Doordash, doordash let's you leave reviews but you can't see them on their app, just an average rating: I don't know how food in the restaurant differs. French Toast Arrived Soggy and undercooked. The lox Benedict arrived on soggy burnt wheat toast instead of an English muffin. Okay, not so bad except... the lox tasted like it was going bad. I ordered dollar pancakes for my kids. Not only were they connected together but they were so overdone they and the turkey bacon were burned black and my kids couldn't eat, not surprisingly it tasted terrible. My cinnamon roll French toast was replaced with soggy undercooked French toast as well... not sure if I'd have eaten it anyhow compared to the rest of the food. Consumer beware, undercooked food and spoiled food are not safe to eat. I would not order delivery under any circumstance from this establishment.

Victoria L.

Yelp
Excellent food, excellent service, peaceful ambience, just such a lovely treat. Thank you all.
google avatar

Mahar T.

Yelp
Good local spot to get yourself a sandwich it's a bit pricey but most people that live around here can afford it

Joshua M.

Yelp
had no ketchup and food took like forever. The food was pretty good however the customer service was not the best.
google avatar

Bruce K.

Yelp
Not a great deli but certainly good. I had a turkey on rye that was fine, and also the tri-salad plate, also fine. I suppose I'll give the pastrami a try, but that's where most delis fall short - the only truly great pastrami in LA is Langer's or Daughter's Deli (owned by the daughter of Langer). But this is fine, always seems to be busy, and DoorDash delivers from there. So, it's better than Art's certainly.
google avatar

Alexandra L.

Yelp
Service a bit slow despite seeing lots of staff Hk concert breakfast tour: nice crispy bacon, perfectly cooked eggs and fluffy pancake Breakfast burrito: pretty good, esp if you add the extra stuff on plate. Hot chocolate: good with whipped cream Nice homey breakfast place
google avatar

Adrian G.

Yelp
This is one of the best delis in the LA area. Huge menu with 7 different soups, and tens of sandwiches and salads. Good indoor and outdoor service. Reasonable prices given the location in an upscale plaza.
google avatar

Amy P.

Yelp
The menu options are perfect and make me feel like I'm on the east coast, service is very welcoming, and seating arrangements are homey - good for large groups or individual eaters!!!
google avatar

Elisa G.

Yelp
Awesome chopped salad with light ranch dressing, no salami or cheese!! It's my fave ever. Try it!! My daughter joined us and she agreed!! Bf thought the impossible burger was pretty rank aka disgusting and I haven't heard the end of this one yet. At least I paid!! The food is bad and the service is slow BUT...I love my chopped salad and light ranch dressing and memories of the Glen Deli will always bring me back AND I saw my favorite comic there!! Bobby Slayton!!! He's the pit bull of comedy!! Sorry I didn't get a photo opp!!

Dianne M.

Yelp
I was there on a Friday afternoon at 4 for a light snack. The restaurant was not busy, yet the service was slow. The curly fries were lukewarm and mostly bits and pieces. However,The chicken tortilla soup was tasty and served in a crunchy taco shell bowl. Finally, I had to use the bathroom. Only the men's was available so I ventured in. Big mistake. It was HORRIFIC! Filthy. The floor under the urinal was soaking wet. The whole room smelled of urine. Disgusting. Put a damper on the whole experience. Obviously, poor management.

Brianna S.

Yelp
So many good foods, like chicken Cesar, Chinese chicken salad, chicken tortilla soup or even the kids meals; cheese burger with the WAFFLE fries!
google avatar

Ann K.

Yelp
The food was very good! The selection seems endless. The tortilla soup was wonderful. The pastrami was delicious! Everything was delectable! We look forward to going back soon.
google avatar

Sharleen S.

Yelp
I came here for a pick me up. I ordered the turkey pastrami sandwich. Paid for the turkey pastrami sandwich. And due to covid, there was no outdoor seating so I took my food elsewhere. Opened it up and came to see that they just put turkey. No pastrami at all. In addition to that, the turkey was pretty stale. The middle parts were alright but the outside layer was crunchy. I also got the potatoe salad, and for me, it wasn't that edible. It was just way too sour. Probably won't be coming back. It is located in a shopping center so parking is pretty easy to find, along with other little shops.

Kevin S.

Yelp
Food was absolutely horrible. Stay away Save your money Prices are high and if they were free it's not worth it.

Larry G.

Yelp
Good food served in a professional manner. Great taste Reasonable prices. Parking is a challenge but worth it
google avatar

Caroline s.

Yelp
This place is pretty busy during lunch hour on a week day. It's convenient that there is free parking in the Bev Glen Center. The food was decent . Nothing spectacular. I got the half chopped salad without salami. The half portion was very generous and filling. The pastrami sandwich was good but definitely had better . You can choose a side of coleslaw or potato salad with it .
google avatar

Rae S.

Yelp
I went here with my boyfriend on a whim one morning. It's in a nice area which is good. Servers kinda looked a little confused. We had sat for maybe 2 min and the server wanted to take our order right away without introducing herself or asking if we were ready. We both had the Harris sandwich which is just a grilled cheese with eggs and fruit or potatoes. It was very mediocre, not anything to rave about. They put so much mayo on it that it was oozing out of the sandwich on every side which took away from the sandwich itself in my opinion. Their orange juice was absolutely delicious though! Fresh squeezed and tasted amazing. Overall, we probably go again to try something different! but we won't be dying to go back or anything
google avatar

Shaeda M.

Yelp
Love coming up here. The staff make you feel at home. I have only tried different types of salads here. This time is red the chopped salad. It's huge for half size. The Chinese chicken salad is also super amazing and comes in two sizes. Fresh food, great service and a great location. Oh yea if you pay attention you can usually spot a celebrity or two.

Jason H.

Yelp
Best deli ever! Pastrami is awesome, staff is awesome and parking not too bad either except for Saturday lunch time! Either way I'm always happy there!
google avatar

Sam S.

Yelp
This is a solid (close to perfect) Jewish-style deli. Everything I've had has been delicious (except for maybe the liver and brown gravy, or at least the one time I tried it). Also, it was four visits in before I learned that pickles are only served complimentary upon request (I'll spare you the laughable excuse the busser gave me). Plenty of food and high quality for your money. Even the crab cake benedict rocked! (Don't tell the rabbi!) Servers are "efficient" and Steve at the counter is very friendly. Decent walk-through patio area for dining. Inside is pretty basic deli, but that's expected. (I've never cared for the Jerry's-type look and vibe).
google avatar

Abdul Karim L.

Yelp
Great food. But the waiters are not friendly at all. Very rude, and just not polite. They leave a bad taste despite the food being superb.
google avatar

Janet C.

Yelp
After reading some not so great reviews on the fish dishes, we still decided to try this deli. I have to admit it was absolutely delicious and with healthy servings! My Reuben, potato salad and coleslaw more than hit the spot. The bread, the meat (I opted for Turkey) was toasted to perfection! I will have to go again. The menu is extensive...so many choices. I wish I had taken pictures but I couldn't wait to eat.
google avatar

Mike E.

Yelp
I grew up close to this restaurant and have been going there for years. Every time I visit the city, I make sure to stop in for a delicious meal. Here are my thoughts on Beverly Glen Deli: The Food: As with most Jewish-style deli's, the menu here is very extensive. Everything I have personally tried has been delicious. They serve classic comfort foods, such as soups, salads, sandwiches, breakfast, etc. I especially like the following dishes: Spanish Omelette, Avocado Toast, Double-Decker Turkey Sandwich, matzo Ball Soup, Tostada Salad, Chinese Chicken Salad, and Your Basic Burger. The Service: The service here is great. It is operated by the same owner that has been running the restaurant since I was a kid. Staff is friendly and they try very hard to take care of their customers. Location: The restaurant is located at The Glen Center, which is a smaller shopping center with various businesses, such as restaurants, shops, a market, a pharmacy, etc. Ample parking makes it very convenient. The Atmosphere: It's a very casual, traditional-style deli. They have extended their outdoor seating all up and down the center when needed.

Yelp
I am a customer for over 25 years, Sept 2019 down to 2 stars. Very disappointed lately with simple deli menu items. Matzo ball soup is watery, comes with dry tough ends of chicken for slicing. Chicken tenders were dry and tough. Fries cold and not cooked enough. Pastrami sandwich was not good. I go often enough to notice changes in the quality. Servers rally to get it right. I hope they get it right.
google avatar

Michael P.

Yelp
Big Shout out to owner Loretta who always greets me warmly and is very accommodating. The other thing is the great food! My go to entree for Sunday brunch is either the tuna melt or the lox and cream cheese-- the quality of the salmon and tuna is top shelf! Such a fantastic gem at the top of the Glen and highly recommended!! Loretta is an exemplary owner operator!! You will NOT be disappointed!!
google avatar

Ramona C.

Yelp
Excellent place to eat with lots of options. Loved the atmosphere and our server Conner! I had a pastrami that was delicious.

Ulices J.

Yelp
been waiting 30 minutes for some god damn chicken strips bhuuhhggyuhhggthggggggghhhbbb
