Have never been more disappointed in this place! I had my wedding cakes done here and always use them, today was my last straw and the incompetent staff they had working there. I ordered a naked anniversary cake 2 weeks ago, every wedding cake they have there is nice and displayed how an anniversary cake and naked cake should come, this is what I got? And the girl who helped me originally and no common sense pretty much said yeah that's what you ordered. I paid 60 bucks for this and supposed to feed 17-20 people????? I am embarrassed and this is nothing of a naked anniversary cake. Every picture people post of 1 layer is nothing like this. I will be disputing my credit card as the manager wouldn't even have the balls to talk to me today or try to fix things instead they said sorry! I will blast them everywhere for this as it is a huge disappointment and lost a long time customer

I have been in the wedding industry for 16 years. Professionally planning weddings for others. This fall, I got to be a Bride myself. With many years of experience, it was easy to choose who I wanted bakery wise. Getting to be a Bride with Beverly’s Bakery confirmed why I send my Bride’s there. Cake is a big thing in my family. My Grandmother and Mom are in the baking industry and have had cake be apart of every special occasion in our family. My bar for cake is rather high. My now Husband and I met with Maria to do the cake tasting and design - it was the sweetest thing ever! It was one of our favorite parts of planning the wedding. Such a special experience. You can tell that cake, and people are Beverly’s Bakery’s passion too. I even got to meet the magic makers who bake the cakes – they have an amazing team of ladies. It was so much fun tasting their different cakes, fillings, buttercreams and their design + kindness were top notch. I had a small vintage picture of my Grandma decorating the cake for my Mom & Dad’s wedding and asked that the cake have a similar style. I ordered my cake and a variety of their regular and mini cupcakes for my Winnie the Pooh baby shower. They managed to recreate a cake from a reference photo I found online and it all came out it so beautiful! I was recommended to keep the cake refrigerated until at least an hour before cutting it but we left it out throughout the whole shower and it still kept the same quality all day. When placing the orders I was always assisted patiently and given good recommendations, which I appreciate a lot since initially when I came in my ideas were all over the place! Thank you so much for the help we loved it all!

My fiancée and I came for a cake testing and we were absolutely blown away. Maria is FANTASTIC. She is the kindest and most attentive person ever. She helped us so much during our visit. The cakes are DELICIOUS. You can tell the cakes are made with love and effort. We tried a variety of cakes that were amazing but my favorites were the marble cake and chocolate cake. Their specialty "Beverly's buttercream" was out of this world. Creamy and full of flavor. The wedding cake are also reasonably priced! Once we took our first bite, we knew this is what we wanted for our wedding. Thank you so much Maria! :) you made this visit very special and personal. We loved the set up for the tasting as well!

Did it again! Another great cake! Another beautiful cake! Got a simple cake for my son's birthday party but still came out elegant and very delicious! Theme was golf and wanted "grass" like frosting Perfect! Ordered a 3/4 oreo sheet cake and a 6" round marble cake. Both matched! Will come back for our next party!

Too bad! I was hoping to support locally but super disappointed with their communication. I called Saturday to try to get a quote on a cake but the "decorator" already left for the day. The gal tried to give me an estimate but said I would still need to come in as soon as I can early in the week to get a quote. So I called today early afternoon to make sure I can still come in to get a quote for a custom cake and told her I would be there around 4pm. The gal who answers the call said that would be fine. I had to request to leave work early so I can make it to the store by 4pm. I arrived right at 4pm and guess what? The cake designer/decorator already left for the day. What the?!!! What do you mean? I just called a few hours ago and said I would be here. I left work early too just so I can make it there by 4pm. The lady helping tried to get a hold of the designer but was not able to and offered a quote and then told me that they are so busy I would need to let them know within the next 30 mins if I'm going to book them for cake ready by next week. 2 stars for trying to help with a quote but to tell me the designer left who can give me an accurate quote and then tell me they need to know in 30 mins if I decide to book. I felt my time was wasted and was something they could've told me over the phone. If I'm already feeling like they caused an inconvenience because of their service and lack of communication, I'm not gonna give you my money.

I hate to leave this review because Maria is a kind person but the shop is run very poorly. There's no organization and they don't know what's going on. When we had our cake tasting for our wedding another couple came in for one as well and Maria told them she had no recollection or appointment for them even though they called one in. She double booked, I felt so bad for the other couple. Then about a week before my wedding I called to check in on something and Maria didn't even have my order for my wedding cake! She was so confused. So if I never called to check I probably wouldn't have had a cake. And finally, the cake was made wrong. I believe they made the whole cake confetti flavor when we ordered 3 tiers all with 3 flavors!!! We just got home from our mini moon and the venue saved us the top part of the cake and we were so excited to have some of it. We ordered it to be red velvet...it's confetti. What a shame. Unfortunately this place is completely unreliable. I see in another person's review they made her wedding cake wrong also. Maria wrote up the form herself very clearly so how on earth is the bakery making cake orders all wrong??!? Are you guys just guessing the flavors?? A wedding is a big deal this is just such a let down. I really don't know how hard it is to read the form.

Thank you for my delicious birthday treats! My husband stopped in to pick up a few sweet treats for my birthday, everything was delicious! We tried the chocolate brownie, and two different cupcakes. They were light, moist, and had the most delicious frostings. I am a big fan!! Will be stopping in and requesting these desserts from him very often!

My fiancé and I came to Beverly's Bakery for our cake tasting for our wedding. The experience was wonderful and they made the process very easy for us. We chose to have two flavors for our wedding cake! Lemon Cake with raspberry preserves and raspberry crème and the other was chocolate with chocolate ganache and raspberry crème. Of course, with Beverly's Buttercream! We were also able to add a few big cupcakes for our family members that have birthdays the same week as our wedding. We would definitely recommend Beverly's Bakery for a sweet tooth need and big event!

I ended up getting my wedding cake done here back for my May 4th wedding this year. One word to describe it? STUNNING. It was everything we wanted. Yes the date was intentional. We wanted a mash up between a traditional ballroom classical wedding with HINTS of Star Wars incorporated it. It was a 4 tiered wedding cake with three flavors white, chocolate, and marble. We ended up with Beverly's buttercream MUST GET IT. Oml it is the best combination of the buttercreams. The sizes if you wanted to know were: 6, 8, 10, 12 we also rented out their gold stand and my cake ended up being $1290. & delivery of $35. Anyways I loved it. I hope to be able to have some type of event again that I can order such an elaborate and beautiful cake from them. The flavors, the look, the price and experience was AWESOME!!

Customer service is poor. Very poor communication put parameters on my order before I was even able to say what I wanted

WOW, what a great experience. If you ever get the chance to meet Maria, she's one of the sweetest people you'll ever meet! My fiancé and I came in for our wedding cake tasting and everything was so nicely organized. We were so taken care of and the service was amazing. The place was so bright and inviting, and it made our experience 10x better. Other than the service, the cakes tasted amazing. We were able to try several different fillings, frostings, cakes, etc. and you can see how intentional Maria is in choosing which items make the menu. Their buttercreams are made with internationally-sourced and clean ingredients and it's obvious. Specifically, the white/marble/lemon cake flavors, strawberry/raspberry mousse, and raspberry preserve is amazing! Overall, highly recommend this place. Will update once I get the cake on the wedding day :)

I've always trusted Beverly's Best when it came to birthdays and holidays. I went to get a cake for my daughter's 21st birthday and asked them to write "Happy 21st Jamie". After they decorated, they briefly showed me the cake and I approved it from a distance, knowing that I could trust them based on the number of cakes I have gotten from the past: I got home, and I was honestly shocked... is this a joke? Looks like a five year old wrote it. It seemed as if they allowed a cake decorating trainee to use this one as practice.... I called them only for them to tell me that they close at 5, so I drove back as quickly as possible and had them rewrite it. They seemed embarrassed as well as they were surprised to see me again... I'm really not sure if this was a joke but seeing the original writing on this cake was unacceptable

Trying to call to place an order for some cookies and cake Saturday morning at 11:15 they're open, but they aren't taking any calls. Off to Patty cakes!

I ordered a cake for my wedding and unfortunately it was made incorrectly, the flavor and filling were all wrong. I selected marble cake with vanilla bavarian cream and chocolate ganache filling. I received a vanilla cake with strawberry flavored filling. Really disappointed that on my wedding day this happened. The woman who helped me at my cake tasting even made me take a picture of the order form SHE wrote up. So i'm not sure where it went wrong.

Maria is so sweet and amazing and helpful! The cakes we tried at our tasting were sooooo delectable ! We recommend the marble cake with vanilla bovarian cream and chocolate ganache!

This review has been a long time coming. The time it took has nothing to do with the company and everything to do with my wife and me being the 'out of sight, out of mind' type. I am so sorry it has taken this long. Beverly's Bakery crafted the cake for my wedding on May 19, 2023. After our tasting, we found ourselves drawn to a flavor far from what we would normally choose. Instead of your standard vanilla or chocolate(which were still delicious), we found ourselves in love with the lemon cake and raspberry buttercream filling. Honestly, I normally do not like lemon cake but whatever Disney magic Beverly is working with back there worked. At the wedding, it was an instant hit with so many people coming up to us and asking where we got the cake and if they could take some home. The answer of course was no because we wanted it for ourselves. Unfortunately, we had no leftovers. Fast forward to May 19, 2024, and my wife surprises me with a personal setup for just me and her at Beverly's Bakery with a small version of our wedding cake. They remembered us and our cake adding to that above-mentioned Disney magic. The cake was just as delicious as I remembered. I was extremely grateful that they allowed my wife to set that surprise up for me. I plan to get that cake every year. Once again, I am so sorry for how long it has taken me to write this review. Beverly's Bakery is hands down, the best cake I have ever had. I can not recommend them enough.

I'm so glad I found Beverly's bakery! My experience dealing with Maria and her husband (sorry forgot his name) was amazing. They were friendly, professional and patient. I ordered a sweet 16 birthday cake for my daughter and it was beautifully made and so FLAVORFUL & TASTY as well!!!. Cake was delivered to the venue ON TIME. Thank you! My daughter and I went to the bakery to order the cake in person because we wanted yo check out the place and try some of their baked goods. We tried their scones, cup cake and a pumpkin bar. Yes they were YUMMY. Everyone working there was friendly and cheerful. I will definitely recommend to friends and relatives and I'll order a cake for my upcoming birthday! Every picture people post is nothing like this, nor anywhere in the store is there cakes this small! The manager wouldn't even have the balls to talk to me today or try to fix things instead sent the same girl who has no idea how to take a order and said sorry! To update based on Maria's message below it is false, I wasn't given any option as the girl helping me had not a clue how to place a cake order, I showed her 1 picture which now attached and that was it, the cake below is from your site and what you show you make, I expected to feed 17-20 and shouldn't of been offered the lower end as you always want more never less. Price nor size were an issue... I needed a cake that looked the part after I decorated it and tasted good which Beverly's has always done, hence why I have continued to use them 25 plus years. Camila should not have represented your company and you should have excused yourself for 1 minute to help a long time customer instead of hiding in the back, especially if you were short staffed. Also, I returned a call (2 times) and still days later no follow up from you to Morgan which proves you guys don't care, I am not looking for anything free but would hope this could save another customer from having this happen to them. There is nothing in the order form so for you to say I signed and agreed to it is crazy, I would expect your staff to know layers/ tiers and provide that to the customer based on their requests (which i was very detailked on giving Camila and why she had to keep going to ask someone in the back for help). The way this whole thing has been handled is sad... and ASHLEY supposedly a manager has bashed me on social media based on my experience although she wasn't even working making up lies, the fact the owners would allow this is shocking and def. disappointed they are allowing everyone else in their company act on their behalf. I have updated every single site I can to review the bakery letting others know my experience and how it was handled, I will continue to add my comments anytime I see info on Beverly's as well. Word of mouth goes a long way, and seem the owners fail to see how not handling a customer issue then bashing me for my experience instead of listening and acknowledging the many mistakes made in this transaction will hurt them. Also the social media post that the BUZZ (who is biased to Beverly's) and was removed had over 180 comments with others expressing issues they had with the bakery and Ashley especially. So for that I highly recommend staying clear of this place so your special occasion isn't ruined for their lack of care and support to customers.

1st timer here. I've been going to the Yorba Linda location. This is their 2nd location. What we ordered ~Blueberry Scone has a lemon frosting on top. Really good. ~ Vanilla scone wasn't dry. Went Perfectly well w my coffee. Not sweet. Even w the sugar topping on top of scone. It was balanced well. ~ Eclair was good. Not overly sweet. Custard was the sweet level of perfection ~ lemon Raspberry vanilla cupcake ~ chocolate cake Pop was very indulging & chocolatey. Not at all sweet. Surprisingly. Bakery is cute with bright Pink walls. Very Chic & feminine indeed. A couple of tables inside and a bench table with a chandelier hanging from the ceiling. They have cute cake stands for rent along with for sale. Associate was so friendly & service was fast. Tip Ck in on Yelp & receive a mini cupcake w purchase With purchase. Parking available out front.

The service was good and the cupcakes are always good. Today I had the carrot cake ...it was definitely the best I ever had!

We were so lucky to have Beverly's Bakery be a part of our wedding day. Maria and the entire team were so nice during the whole process. We enjoyed our tasting and customizing our wedding cake design. A few short weeks before the wedding I decided to make some changes to the cake design and the designer, Ashley, was so knowledgeable and helpful! The cake turned out to be the cake of my dreams. I could not thank the team enough for making my vision come to life. I was also surprised how affordable it all was!! Would highly recommend Beverly's Bakery

As per usual, I went to Beverly's for my daughter's birthday cake. I've ordered cakes from Beverly's since I was little (grew up in Brea), and they did my bridal shower cake, baby shower cake, my daughter's first birthday cake, and this year's 2nd birthday cake. The service is always impeccable, so helpful, and kind. They create a welcome environment in their locations as well. This year, we went with a daisy theme. So I gathered some basics to bring to them to put on the cake (topper, fresh daisies, and fondant daisies ordered on Etsy), but they worked their magic and did the most amazing job as usual. The color of the cake was perfect, the placement of her name, the daisies, and topper were so great! Not to mention, the cake itself always gets stellar feedback for taste and moistness. No frosting can compare, in my opinion. I did go a bit too large on the cake this year, but I was able to give family and friends cake to go, and we will freeze some of our leftovers so we can enjoy it in time. :-) See the photos for the stellar work that their cake masters created!

I'm amused at Kaci's 1 star review. Beverly's Bakery gave her exactly what she ordered, then embarrassed herself by complaining publicly online for her own mistake. My family has been coming here for years and have a 100% satisfaction rating for this business. I feel sorry for her husband who the cake was for. That poor guy has to live with her.

Ashley did an AMAZING job with my wedding cakes. I cannot say enough good things about the entire experience with this team. Communication was wonderful from start to finish with Maria and as always the cakes are to die for. We've had so many birthday and celebration cakes, cupcakes, and treats from here over the years that it was the obvious choice for our wedding cake. From the tasting to the pickup, the whole process was smooth and I would 100% recommend them for a wedding cake. Or really ANY special cake for any occasion. We had an awesome time doing the tasting back in December. What they've done to update the bakery is adorable and I loved the way Maria set up the tasting area for us. She even made it work when my mom tagged along last minute. For our main cake we picked lemon with raspberry mousse and raspberry jam and Beverly's buttercream frosting (surprising to us both because that is not my go-to there--normally I'm a chocolate ganache with raspberry girl), but this combo blew us away. My husband picked a carrot cake with cream cheese frosting for his special cake to honor his family's tradition. I gave Ashley total design freedom with minimal guidance and example photos, and she made the most beautiful cakes I've ever seen. I cried when I picked them up and honestly getting to thank her personally when I saw them meant so much to me. I will never forget it. We got a lot of compliments on the cake, both flavor and the design and look. Literal perfection. Thank you ladies for making me dreams come true

Working in the area stopped in the grab something sweet. Very nice young lady greeted me. Chocolate chip toffee cookie was delicious. Definitely on the larger thicker side, sort of crisp on the outside and soft inside. Will try the zucchini bread later.

I don't remember the name of the lady who helped us but she was super nice. The cake tasting portions were generous for all 3 of us (me, hubs and kid) to try and we liked most of the cake flavors. We ended up ordering a cake for our 1st wedding day. Guests loved the chocolate layer. We'll have a redo with the marble cake.

I've ordered from Beverly's twice. The first time for my wedding and the second time for a client's wedding. I had great interactions each time with Maria. She understood our vision and budget and made it work. I will definitely be coming back and referring my clients to Beverly's. For my wedding I ordered a 2 tier cake with sheet cakes. I did the marble, white and chocolate cakes with strawberry moose, vanilla Bavarian cream, chocolate Bavarian, and chocolate ganache fillings. We did a few variations because we loved them all and couldn't decide on just one or two pairings. For my client, we did a bride and groom carrot cake. They loved it so much they wanted to keep it for themselves! The design was beautiful and just as they wanted.

We have used this bakery for several family events and I cannot recommend them enough! We first used them for my birthday cake a while back, then my wedding day cake and desserts, then my sisters wedding, my baby shower mini dessert and most recently our second babies gender reveal!! The owners are incredibly nice, service is perfect as I feel they truly go above and beyond for their clients/customers. When we went for our tasting initially for the wedding cake tasting, the ambiance and experience was exciting and very comforting as we didn't really know exactly what we wanted for our wedding cake. I loved how they helped guide us in working with our specifics and never made us feel like we were asking for too much, but definitely helped us determine how much we needed and make sure we had just enough.

The best bakery in this area! Food is fresh and delicious!!! Left overs are great for a late nite snack or even for breakfast!!

Ordered chocolate and vanilla mini cupcakes for a celebration of life! They accommodated my request for no rainbow sprinkles and did all white on the vanilla! They were delicious and looked perfect! I will be ordering from here again in the future! Very nice staff working counter, too!

This was our second cake from Beverly's Bakery -and did not disappoint! This one was a vanilla cake with a midlayer of chocolate frosting and Bavarian creme and it was incredible - super light and tasty. The frosting is never too sweet and it looked beautiful. The store is really cute - plenty of options for choosing a cake on the fly - and some indoor seating.

Beverly's Bakery makes the most delicious cakes. I've been ordering cakes for my daughter's birthday for the past three years. I get some many compliments from my party guests. I definitely recommend and will continue to order my cakes here.

Did my nieces cake testing here for her quince and Beverly was so friendly and her cakes were phenomenal!!!!!

We went to a lot of cake tastings but Beverly's by far was the winner. Our initial cake tasting with Maria was perfectly organized and they have a separate tasting area which makes the whole experience so wonderful. They were able to follow the designs perfectly and created a beautiful masterpiece for our wedding. Amazing!

Beverly's Bakery is simply the BEST! I ordered a cake for my husband's first Father's Day tomorrow and I forgot to pick it up by 5 pm. I called and left a message and the owner called me back and waited for me to arrive even though they were closed already. I can't thank them enough for such great service. The cakes also taste amazing! I ordered a cake last year for a gender reveal and they made it exactly like the picture I showed them. It's hard to find a place that can make pretty cakes AND also taste delicious! Thank you again Beverly's for going above and beyond.

Love love love Beverly's best. I've used them for all of my birthdays - but recently I ordered a cake from the YL location for my masters graduation fiesta. And let me tell you.... It was gorgeous!!!! I was worried how they would pull it off since I am not a fan of vanilla frosting and wanted chocolate - but they blew my expectations out of water. I loved my cake and will be back in November for my birthday! Or sooner... if I can find an excuse to get myself a cake!! :)

Over the years I have ordered many cakes from Beverly's. Two of my favorite ones was the tea party one that was a table with a tea set up on top for my dsaughter's birthday. The other one they help design which was a graduation hat sitting on a princess pillow for my niece's graduation. Both of these cakes where stuning along with being delicious, I highly recommend them for all your cakes you may need.

This bakery goes out of their way to verify 3 times and signature to make sure that you understand exactly what you're ordering. You cant please everyone but this bakery does try. The variety of tasty cakes is wonderful. Its sinfully delicious.

She was patient with us as we went through all the choices, and provided helpful and thoughtful recommendations. The cake decorator did a wonderful and beautiful job! Wow! I am a future Fall 2025 bride. I have tasted many bakeries in the local Fullerton area searching for the perfect cake. We came across Beverly's Bakery and we fell in love. First, my family went to just try some cupcakes- YUM! Then, my fiance and I went to do our official cake testing. The marble? DELICIOUS! We decided to go with Beverly's Buttercream too! We just had so much fun, it was low stress, such an easy process. The owners are amazing and so sweet. They have a perfect cake testing area that made the process feel so intimate, calm and inviting. We left with so many treats to share the good news with our family. I can't wait to see our wedding cake and I fully trust that it is going to be exactly how we imagine it!

Maria is friendly, helpful and the baked goods here are really from scratch. For instance the buttercream frosting is actually made with butter and cream. You can select the french version or even their signature version. There are old-time favorites here baked with natural ingredients. I ordered a great cake with Bavarian Chocolate cream in between marbled cake and also some freezable dessert breads that have good wholesome ingredients. The table settings, ambiance with music is nice if you have time to snack inside!

I'm so happy that I was able to find Beverly's for my son's birthday cake. I looked at other bakeries in the area and none could do sculpted cakes. Beverly's went above and beyond and my son was so excited when he saw his cake. Not only does it look amazing but it also taste so good!
